#--/ art #--/ story #ava the dark lord #⬇⬇⬇ context in the tags ⬇⬇⬇#alan becker #animator vs animation #animation vs minecraft #ava the chosen one #it is done !! ok ill give y'all the intro context synopsis now #the story goes that way way way way before Showdown cho and dark used to sneak into abandoned-looking buildings in the city at night #and one such target they stumble upon happens to be a storage room containing artifacts from Minecraft #the most interesting being the beds.#on this particular outing cho and dark were returning from other shenanigans and could use a place to rest. perfect!#dark belly-flops onto the right bed (scooting them out of alignment) and strikes a pose.#while chosen is shoving them back together again... oh. he's already asleep? ...???#!!! the beds draw you in if you get too close!#so what was supposed to be half an hour at most rest turned into the whole night. they skedaddled and forgot about the freaky beds.#until. a certain someone goes and dies :333 #you get it now ! ! !#it was dark diesn't ALL ALONG-#yeah and then for extra spice i threw in that the hooded stick King meets with during his episode to buy a command block...#...happens to own that storage room.#thus and so begins more brand new shenanigans with dark interacting with this shady rando. i call em seafoam #i highly extremely doubt there's a tag for seafoam . . . wiki calls them only 'hooded stick figure'#anyhow. behind the scenes this was also a practice of drawing things in 3D... keeping on model... and composition for storytelling #and i learned some things about how Whiteboard works too :o i. didn't know about the fill tool. it is cool #yayaya!! so that's been in my head for a while.#thx for reading <3 <3 ill be posting some close-up shots of this and other things i put on the whiteboard later #Minecraft bed

Rebuilding a Minecraft Village in Survival (1/?): "Cleric Temple"

#I was really inspired by bdubs and his gothic builds in his survival series #this was a huge undertaking though...took about a month to build it in survival because of just how much varied resources I needed #I'm really proud of it though! while it's player scale it feels bigger than it is and the stained glass effect with terracotta works wonder #mincraft #mineblr #minecraft builds #aberrations

#soda offers you a can #sage edited in post bc this thing doesn't have her for some reason?#addressing some hotter opinions ->#sonic does not speedrun. he would not enjoy the tedious task of resetting worlds to have a chance at performing the same actions over again #he does play but does not take it very seriously and dies a lot. he's there if he's wanted present and that's as much as he'll do #he doesn't dislike the game it's just not that interesting to him #shadow doesn't really get the appeal. that's all.#same with sonic in that he'll do it if the right people ask him to but he'll have less fun than sonic bc sonic knows how to play #general enjoyer tier has nuance within it. amy would go really hard on some aspects but doesn't get to the niche things #like redstone machinery and mob farms etc #silver likes the escapism of building little houses. sometimes he starts a world and lives through minecraft unfiction though #which kills the vibe and he won't touch the game for extended periods of time #elise and cream are the most casual in that the game's fun and they get into it but it's just cozy to them #maria would play minecraft if she was around for it and not dead. she'd be so normal about minecraft she'd be so normal about the end poem #minecraft could fix her but alas she's fucking dead #does not play minecraft crowd has feelings ranging from hatred of the game to it not being their thing #i'll leave it up to the observer to decide where each opinion lies #with the addition of some being physically unable to play minecraft. but you know

i swear grian and scar are as crazy about each other as we are

i'm watching scott's most recent escape room video and i saw the void room and thought "huh, that's a grian thing to do" and then scars doing stuff, i expected him to call the button room a grian room but he saves his grian mention for the void room where he says "oh not the void. I've been in the void before. this is when grian appears and says- does something to me." does what to you? 🤨

but it isn't just scar that does this cause i stumbled across an old mcc vod and grian said "every alley in my mind leads to those aliens like scar with Disneyland" and scar was on an entirely different team or may not have been in that event at all (grian and scar in MCC is a whole thing, don't get me started on how grian wasn't playing in MCC 20 but dropped into scar's teams call just to gong them and got put on a team with scar both mccs after that) and will say things like "batman is my starwars"

they both just bring each other up when they're not around and it drives me nuts /pos
