one Jegulus raising harry thing i never see is when harry come home with a s.p.e.w badge and explaining about Hermione and how obsessed she is with house elf rights right then.
Regulus then joining the club when she visits for the summer and they spend the whole day drinking tea and talking about elf rights.
harry was so embarrassed about it to.
james thought it was cute and joined as well.
they both promoted the movement at their professional quidditch games (because in my head they both became quidditch players) and it expanding beyond any of there wildest dreams.
they did respect that some house elves liked what they did but they also pointed out that not all were treated right.
so it became more about treating the elves fairly then freeing them. (mostly due to regulus's involvement)
but Hermione was always leading and running everything until she graduated Hogwarts and worked at there new foundation full time.
harry and Ron would sometimes volunteer (and Regulus would drag draco along using his god father card)
and james and reg worked there part time when they weren't playing quidditch.
can some one plz turn this into a full length fic i need to read this

Skřítek (Czech version of the Domovoy)
Tumblr media
Skřítek by Kutálek Jan
Other names: Šetek, Diblík and Děd/ Dĕdek/ Děduška (names of this form convey the concept of "grandfather" in Czech)
It is said that he is the spirit of a deceased ancestor.
A creature from West Slavic folklore, originally a protective spirit of the house similar to the East Slavic domovoj . The skřítek is analogous to the Roman larus and penates, the English hobbits or the French lutines. The word is also used to translate the names of various creatures of small stature in folklore and fantasy such as elf, goblin, gnome or imp.
Written accounts of the skřítek are abundant from the 16th to 18th centuries , with authors such as Jan Amos Komenský and Tomáš Pěšina of Čechorod comparing it to the Roman laras and penates.
The word skřítek comes from the German scrat, schratte, schratt "forest spirit". Its Czech variant is křístek and skřet, in Polish it is called skrzatek, skrzat or skrzot, in Slovak it is called škrata or škriatok, in Slovenian škrat or škratec. Later it was sometimes identified with the devil or čert, for example in Mastičkář or in Jan Hus. According to Ctibor Tovačovský of Cimburk, unbaptized children become gnomes or diblíks . The word šotek comes from šet , šiet "old man" and the variant šetek is also known in Slovenian.
The skřítek often appears as a small creature, sometimes with claws on his hands and feet. Sometimes he is so small that he hides in flour or peas, according to the Slovenes he is as big as a thumb. The form of a chicken, especially a wet one, is also common, as is the way Slovaks and Poles imagine him, for example. In Poland he also appears in the form of a small bird from which sparks fly. He often takes the form of a snake, tied to the life of the householder, sometimes two snakes, for the householder and the housewife. The house snake is probably a common viper, which indeed often lives near human buildings.
Among the Slovenians, he has other diverse forms, he can be a young man, an old man or an old woman. He wears a green skirt, a red cap that makes him invisible, and he hides his body because he is very hairy. When he carries money, he takes the form of a sparkling broom and can also change into various animals, such as a cat, dog or goose.
The places where the skřítek resides in the house vary. He often lived in a barn or sheepfold, hidden in flour or peas, in a wild pear tree, and especially in winter behind or on the stove.
He likes to take revenge on people who hurt him, but otherwise his contribution to the house is positive. He protected the herds and brought grain and money, and also performed household chores. It is often said that a goblin can be raised, most often from an egg carried under the arm. On the other hand, he is difficult to get rid of; the house can be protected from his visit with two metal snakes nailed to the door and painted red.
The skřítek was offered food so that he would not get angry, in Slovenia the first piece of every cooked or baked dish. He was remembered especially on Thursday and Christmas Eve . The skřítek was also represented by a wooden statuette with arms crossed on his chest and a crown, which stood in a cupboard in the corner. When the residents left the house, they placed the statuette on the table or cupboard to watch over the house.
