Okay... So this might be a bit dumb, but I have a friend who really likes Iida and I was thinking about some ships we talk about. One serious... And one crack ship I made for fun.

My friend really likes Iida and Ochako and hearing them hyperfixate on all the cute dynamics and how they already have a good basis for it in canon makes me agree that this pair is highly underated even if it's not my fave.

And the joke ship I made has absolutely no basis...

But if Iida somehow started dating Pony from class 1-B... Would their ship name be "Horsepower"?

Also jokingly thought of an interaction where Pony tried to innocently flirt, but got her words mixed up again as Japanese is her second language. So she asks if she said anything wrong and upon realizing what she accidentally said, she's bowing down and apologizing profusely.

Her classmates laughing certainly doesn't help either.

Iida and Uraraka is honestly super cute imo. I agree that while its not necessarily my favorite or even something I ship, there's a lot of super cute potential there. It is pretty underrated!

First of all, Horsepower is SUCH a cute name I love it! They would be absolutely hopeless flirting with each other. Pony mixing up her words more than usual because shes nervous, and Iida being just awful at flirting to begin with. They would be that overly sweet but completely oblivious couple, constantly dancing around actually flirting or asking one another out because they're nervous, until one of their friends does it for them
