I’ve been seeing the hope kids recently and I got so happy bc I was vaguely in the Robtd fandom- but yknow what else it reminded me of? Bad end friends. Which now I propose to you:

No hope kids

Mei Mei- who is taken over by her rage and animalistic urges, becoming an unstable and uncontrollable werepanda esque creature

Miguel- literally just how he was in regular bad end friends which is why I am also like AAAH this

Hiro- got stuck in the other dimension thing and in a last ditch effort somehow combined himself with baymax or smth like that and then managed to get out after being stuck for a long time.

Riley- something went wrong in her inner world and somehow EVERYTHING disappeared and she becomes like an empty husk. (Can you see the parallel Mei Mei has to many emotions and Riley now has none at all)

I need to familiarize myself with Miguel’s bad end friend thing (I think o might actually be confusing him with Marcos but I was never a svtfoe fan so I was never into that one). But yes here it is folks

I got a couple; first of all all the hope kids, but more particularly Nimona and Mei Mei. Imagine if instead of Ballister saving Nimona it was Mei Mei bc Nimona was like “Ima kill myself- HOLY FUCK THAT GIRL JUST TURNED INTO A CREATURE!!”

And my second one is Jinx (Arcane) and Hunter (The Owl House) bc they would 100 percent be best friends they are both two traumatized 17 year olds that like silly media and toys and I bet they would cosplay together. Hunter would be absolutely enamored with Jinx’s creations and Jinx would be fascinated with Palisman creation and magic and the fact that Hunter is a Grimwalker and they would want to learn everything about Hunter.

I just wanna say bc I KNOW you're somewhere on tumblr, to the teenage girl who attended Take Your Kid To Work Day at an office building in Ontario, Canada circa 2013 and had a conversation with a middle aged woman in which you showed her your Black Veil Brides fanart and fanfics and ship content and told her about different fanfic tropes including a/b/o verse bc she happened to know who Panic! at The Disco and Fallout Boy were and thus you felt the need to show her your bandblr ship art, that was my fucking mother and I had to clarify all that to her including looking my mother in the eye and trying to explain a/b/o verse without sounding like a lunatic.

Keeper -- a short comic about an angel meeting a robotic lighthouse keeper that doesn't know the world has already ended. Made in about 18 hours for a 24-hour 24-page* black and white comic challenge (that I arrived late to, ha.)

*the actual submission does not include the cover, which was created after the fact for this post.

This was a really great learning experience as someone who's... never really made a completed comic. I ended up really attached to the story by the end of the project (possibly due to all-nighter deliriousness lol) and ultimately am very proud of what I made.There are some things I'd still like to change, particularly text placement, but in keeping with the spirit of the challenge I've elected to leave it as is.
