Lena Horne once said of her, "The thing I remember talking to her about most were her dogs; her animals were really her only trusted friends.” Mister accompanied Holiday to Harlem’s most glamorous clubs, where porters brought him “plates of thick steak” while she performed and he “kept fans at a polite distance.”

aaaand i'm back !! sorry for the radio silence, i've been so busy these past few weeks after getting back from europe. i decided to take a break from DC and spend the holidays in my favorite city, NYC <3 all i do everyday is café hop, journal, and read for my upcoming legal literature class (currently reading 1984, which i've never read in high school). in good news, i found out today i passed the state bar, woohoo !! i was pretty worried when i sat for it in my airbnb in portugal and even considered canceling it but i'm glad i took the risk :)) hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season !!!
