Some weeks ago I was looking for any kind of interaction between Lee and Shino (spoiler: there is NONE) but I found a cute episode of their teams working together to find insects, AND THEN:

I felt like writing some Hinaten so here it is. It's smut so you are warned, also a bit short :P

It had been a while since she had last put a foot in her home, away from her forge and the mysterious minerals she had collected during her long trip. Tenten felt exhausted with every step her legs did, but there was yearning in her heart– writing letters to her wife wasn't enough for her to be calm, and Hinata must have been feeling the same way.

The weapons master returned to their house as soon as she could, and tiredness almost took over when she sat down on the couch for a moment to drop off all the things she was carrying on her bags; Tenten didn't want to fall asleep without greeting her partner, who was probably awake judging by how the lights were turned on just before she entered to the room.

"Sweetie? Are– are you there?" a soft voice asked from the kitchen, and the brunette knew where to go next.

She was welcomed midway by a tight hug that she soon returned, resting her chin on the other woman's shoulder with a smile decorating her face.

Oh, the sweet aroma of her perfume was always enough to soothe her soul, and her embraces made Tenten feel like nothing would ever go wrong in her life. Hinata even caressed the back of her head, gentle as she always had been. She would fall asleep on the spot if it went on.

"Hina… You don't know how much I missed you," the brunette exclaimed, separating herself from her wife only to look at her, admiring how pretty the Hyuga was as if it was the first time they met.

And just like that, Tenten leaned in, carefully placing her lips on top of Hinata's for a warm kiss. She could feel how the other woman smiled in the process; and for a second the kiss deepened, as Hinata carefully sucked from her lower lip and her hands timidly rested on Tenten's waist, not willing to go any lower without permission.

The brunette didn't like being touched that way, but she didn't mind helping her wife whenever she wished. Even if the woman with lavender eyes was too shy to ask for anything, there was something in the lenght of her kisses that just told Tenten how her partner felt.

"Do you wanna go to the bedroom, love?" she asked, pausing the kiss just to say that, letting out a soft smile at seeing the other woman blush like she always did. "Don't be shy, Hina. I'll do whatever you want to."

"Um… Yes, please," Hinata muttered, her gaze focused on the ground as she talked. She began playing with her fingers as it was common for her to do when she was younger, and Tenten thought it was adorable.

Silently she grabbed her hand and soon they were on their bed, kissing again and removing each other's clothes without any kind of effort. Hinata tended to get too nervous to do much apart from caressing her wife, who always enjoyed leaving kisses all across her warmed up skin, sometimes even biting if the other woman was in the mood.

And that night wasn't an exception. Tenten kissed her everywhere she could see, and her wife let out pleased sighs every now and then, a soft smile decorating her face by how pleased she felt.

Her mouth slipped towards Hinata's inner thighs and soon her lips were playing with her clit, resulting in the Hyuga bitting her lower lip and closing her eyes in impulse.

"You're so wet already," Tenten teased, sticking out her tongue when her partner looked at her in the eyes. She began kissing between her legs, her tongue exploring Hinata's cunt without rushing at all, using a finger to please her even more which resulted in a soft moan.

It wasn't like they had to do something important the following day, so they had all the time in the world to have fun.

"... Thank you, sweetie. It– it was awesome," Hinata mumbled when she could, still panting between words. Tenten placed a soft kiss on her forehead, to which her wife chuckled because of the surprise.

"No problem, love. I'll always try to help you when I can."

The brunette didn't get a response, sensing how Hinata's breath got lighter as she slowly fell asleep in her arms. Without bothering her partner, Tenten covered herself and the other woman with blankets, shifting closer before deciding to imitate the Hyuga and await the morning with closed eyes.

What made you ship it?

The thought of Tenten dating Neji's family member is funny on multiple levels, partially because he's be so confused on who he's supposed to be protective of. (they of course start dating after the time skip when Neji and Hinata have formed a sibling like bond).

Does he protect his teammate and tell Hinata that she needs to be nice, or does he protect his cousin and tell his team mate that she's in trouble if she breaks Hinata's heart? there are so many struggles for this poor boy

also it's just cute. Tenten trains with neji so she'd train really well with Hinata and be really supportive of her every step of the way, plus you could have Hinata helping Tenten with the weapon's shop when she opens it up which would be SUPER CUTE.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

How soft they could be and how much it makes Neji cringe. Seriously, he though his Sensei was bad with his boyfriend, these two are somehow WORSE (I love Neji thus he must suffer embarrassment lol)

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Hmmm not sure. I think i've seen a lot of people have Tenten hate on Hinata and i just don't get that. Like i get that Tenten has a right to be upset on Neji's behalf, but Neji and Hinata found their peace with each other and bonded and I think Tenten would honestly adore Hinata (romantic or platonic) and vice versa
