Anyway this is Vermillion, Beatrice Helena's younger cousin by like 7-8 years or so, idk. If Donnie gets an accidental science baby then Mikey gets an accidental magic baby, it's only fair.

I'm still working out his exact face shape and how to draw it consistently, but the current plan is that he has anophthalmia (born without his right eye) and either hemifacial microsomia or Goldenhar Syndrome. I gotta do more research before I actually decide.

I saw Wicked yesterday and it was pretty cute, I’d have liked it more if I were normal about The Wizard of Oz, but I am not. So, it was cute.

I like the strange little poly thing they have goin on, tho it feels close enough to the ol love triangle trope that I was a little irritated, but it was fine

It was very well produced, and as far as modern major Hollywood movies go, it was very good

i get so defensive of my past self when i see posts on here that are like "i was so stupid and mean back when i was depressed!! now i'm just happy and love life and have ~whimsy~ instead!!" like. i didn't have a choice. i'm not going to say i was wasting my life being depressed because the person i was then didn't ask for that. that person did the best they could with almost no support system and nothing but shame and self-hatred that i couldn't see through until a doctor added a mental health screening to their check-in paperwork was was like "hey uh. you're massively depressed and should think about medication." i never "chose" to "feel better" because i was in too much pain and constantly in self-preservation mode, it took an authority figure finally noticing that i was struggling and taking the initiative to offer help for things to start getting better. i'm not going to dunk on 19-year-old aster, 21-year-old aster, 25-year-old aster. that's me. i remember how much it hurt to just exist. i'm not kicking that person while they're down.

and maybe i can move the compassion i have for my past self to my current self. maybe i can join my future self in going, "hey buddy, i know it's not easy. you're doing the best you can and no one has the right to tell you it's not enough."

Ok I unironically love the potential idea of Alan just having a curse that sometimes makes his creations come alive. I say sometimes because we can see like drawings of random things in Ava 4 and those weren't alive, though that could be because they were sketches. And it'd explain what happened with Second + Hangman. Alan made Vic, Chosen, and Dark on purpose with that coding thingy or whatever it was the code couldn't have been saved because Cho and Dark bricked Alan's PC in AvA 3. So Second just came alive because jumpscare, Alan has a curse on him. And this has the potential to be the funniest au/idea/whatever, ever-

Haven't played Veilguard yet but it seems like the praise and criticism are equally deserved.

Davrin? Made for me. Lucanis' line about killing a god? Swooning. Much of the dialogue? Delightful.

Now what the fuck do you mean they had a character arc revolve around gender roles for a character from a society that doesn't have gender roles the way we do?

This is only the second game in a set of four where we've been able to play as a qunari!! People have been WAITING to be able to explore their culture more! And we get there and whoops actually we're going to avoid that so hard that it's going to look like something you have in the US, actually.

What's that? They don't even have the same gender roles in Thedas? Can't hear you, we're spoonfeeding acceptance here.

Like I get why it resonates with people and I'm happy for them, but that conversation about clothing? I thought the people who complained about therapy speak and Taash being childish were making too much of things as per usual, but nope. They have a point actually.

I'm really sorry to say it, but the writers can and have done better. Based on the deleted tweets from Epler I'm guessing the execs were like, nope, can't ruffle feathers with this one, gotta cater.

So honestly this is about par for the course for the entire franchise

Ahsoka’s flailing arm nearly hit Rex in the face, but he dodged, and caught her around the middle, stopping her tipsy swaying. “Yes, Your Highness, we know.”

She threw an arm around his neck and squished her cheek against his pauldron. “I’m prettyyyyy.”

“If you insist, Princess.”

“Do you think I’m pretty?”

She swerved wildly, and he redirected her. “It would be unseemly for me to answer that, Princess.”

“Seemly. Seeeeeemly. Stupid Seemley Ress,” she said, slurring his name, then trying to correct herself. “Stupid Seemly Ress. Resss. Ressss! My tongue’sss not workin’, Ress!”

“So I hear.”

“I’m pretty. And I’m strong.”

“As everyone knows.”

“And I’m tall!”

“Acknowledged.”

“And I’m orange!”

“Correct.”

“AND I’m… I’mma walk on my own now!”

She shoved him away and took two wobbly steps forward before he had to catch her again.

“I can do it!” she whined. “I’m a lady. I’m twen’ny yearssss ol’. I can walk!”

She very clearly could not, so with a sigh, Rex bent over and lifted her completely, carrying her down the hallway. “All due respect, ladies do not get sloshed at formal dinners.”

“Isss no’ my fault,” she muttered. “Issstupid Korkie’s fault.”

“Right,” Rex said, ignoring her and the looks he was getting. Mostly sympathetic ones; everyone knew the Princess was trouble and was used to her getting into worse predicaments than this.

“Korkie says you liiiiike me,” she continued, singsongy. “He says you’re—you’re not sssaying an’thin ‘bout it cause of, uh. Uhhhhh. Clones! People don’t like you. Stupid people don’t. Good people do. Korkie says I like you.”

“That would be surprising, considering the amount of complaining you do whenever I’m around,” Rex deadpanned.

I do not bother to check if Getter and Big O ever interacted in SRW because I’m so use to the other mechas I like being in the same game as getter but being so different that they never have any story reasons to have interactions since Getter is only ever allowed to interact with mazinger, OG gundam and any other combiners + it’s all in untranslated hell so I won’t even know wtf was said if there WERE interactions but god damn it I keep rotating a scenario where Roger negotiates to get Ryoma out of jail even though I know for a fact that DIDNT happen despite how many times they used arma and how Z2 actually adapted it fucking correctly for once but it’s just so funny to imagine.

The person let out a yelp of pain and clutched the wound, dropping the creature that resembled a fluffy cat, but had four ears and a forked tail. Its eyes were silver and far too clever. Its fur was probably white, but it was presently covered in mud. “How come you two fuckers look the same?” Alessio cocked his head to one side, glancing at Jirard. “Am I crazy, or did that cat just talk?” “I'm pretty sure that was the cat, yeah,” Jirard affirmed. He crouched down closer to the creature's level. “Sorry, what?” “You two are the same goddamn species!” it snarled. “And I don't know what the fuck a ‘cat’ is, but call me that again and I'll rip out your throats!” The one who had been holding the thing and was now nursing a bite wound cleared their throat. “Sorry about Malo.” They scooped it back up and held it in two uninjured arms, gesturing with a fourth. “They have a nasty attitude and a nastier bite, and they're pretty much always pissed about something.” “Lady, if you don't put me the fuck down—!” She bopped Malo on the head, silencing them, then let them drop from her arms. Malo's tails twitched, but they just grumbled and stalked away in the same manner as a moody cat. “I'm Evan,” the woman said, clapping two of her four hands together and curtsying. Mud-soaked hair that may have once been a soft blue color dripped in front of her eyes, and she flipped it back with a sigh. “Malo and I have been stuck together for about five years now. Sometimes they even listen to me!” “Um…hi…,” Jirard said, getting back to his feet and not getting over the fact that there was an alien cat with a bad attitude and a purple woman with four arms talking to him. “I'm…Jirard?”
