GUYS I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE NOTICED, RIGHT ???
Ok so, I had this epiphany the other day and wanted to share it, but like, I forgor because if I don't do something I think of immediately in the moment, then I forget to do it. BUT, here we are.
I'm just gonna mark this down as a huge spoiler for The Legend of Zelda : Tears of the Kingdom, so if y'all don't want to be spoiled on some (albeit small) details from the game's canon, please do move on lol.
Okay so, as I was rewatching the cutscenes in Tears of the Kingdom the other day, I noticed that both Rauru and Mineru have this tear-shaped white mark on the bridge of their nose. Quite innocent, right? Maybe just a Zonai trait?
But then– then I realized they also have a third eye. On their foreheads.
Now, what really baffles me is, if you look closely at these screenshots (I believe Rauru's is taken from the official Collector's Edition Artbook, and Mineru's is straight from the game itself), then you'll also realize that both Rauru and Mineru's third eye have exactly three lashes.
Okay, now that that's out of the way, hear me out.
You know what other "race" in Hyrule displays these traits or make use of that sort of symbolism?
Yeah.
The Sheikah.
They're also the only "race" in Hyrule that doesn't appear in the flashbacks where we see all the Sages.
Now, it can and will certainly be argued that the Sheikah are not a seperate race from the Hylians and yeah, I completely agree with that (it's even stated in game in the profiles of the Sheikah characters, like Paya or Impa, that they are "Hylian (Sheikah)"). In a sense, even if they are the same race, they still belong to a different people or culture than the rest of the Hylian characters, and can therefore be considered "seperate". It was the case in Ocarina of Time where the Six Sages included both a Hylian (Zelda herself) and a Sheikah (Impa, as the Sage of Shadows, I believe).
So why not include a Sage who was part of the Sheikah tribe, like Nintendo did in Ocarina of Time?
Sure, I'm going off a super subtle detail here, but I have a theory and I will die on this hill if I must : I think the Zonai were actually the ancestors of the Sheikah tribe (and of the Royal Family of Hyrule, as Sonia mentions a "blood connection" between her and Zelda, as well as the fact that she sensed both her power over Time and Rauru's power over Light within Zelda).
Now, as I said, this theory of mine is based off a few small details, as well as off of the absence of the Sheikah in the distant past of Tears of the Kingdom. However, even if Nintendo haven't done this on purpose and the marks on Rauru and Mineru's noses are only meant to be decorative, I still think there's something there that we're just not seeing.
Either the Zonai are meant to be part of the Sheikah tribe's ancestry (which would, in turn, explain why the tribe has always been close to the Royal Family as they share common ancestors in both Hylians and Zonai), or the Sheikah were just like "Oh hey, that's a really cool idea for a logo. Wanna make that our tribe's symbol??" and their leader at the time was like "Yeah, let's go boooiiiiis" and that's that.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Sorry for the long post! I just absolutely had to share. I can't be the only one to have seen this detail, right???

Although this eccentric home has gone through its fair share of owners over the years (and has been on the market for quite some time), it's optimal location at the center of Glimmerbrook cannot be overlooked. Ignore the rattling floorboards, inexplainable apparitions, and ghoulish sounds in the night - that's all part of the charm of owning a historic home in its original glory. We can basically guarantee you're going to be fine… probably!
This haunted house build is technically a part of my “Rebuilding Glimmerbrook” series, but I plan to make a second option at this location for those of you who might not have the Paranormal Stuff pack. I figured I would still include it in this series though as I (1) spent a ton of time on it and (2) was making it for one of my newer OCs* anyway. I hope you guys like it! ❤️
INFORMATION & DOWNLOAD BELOW ↓
*For those curious, the OC in question is a fashionable, creative, untamed wizard who grew up in Tomarang. He was raised by his immortal witch aunt who loves a little mischief and dark magic. He hunts dangerous occults, is a talented psychic medium, and is generally an overall menace in the eyes of the magical sage council.
Packs I Used, Furnished:
Packs I Used, Unfurnished:
This lot is completely CC free and fully decorated. It is listed as a "Haunted House Residential" lot type and has two lot traits: private dwelling and peace and quiet. It also has one lot challenge trait: spooky. There's one unfurnished room upstairs that has direct access to the upstairs bathroom. Additionally, the room currently functioning as a walk-in-closet off the master bathroom could easily be converted into a bedroom as well, so that's why I would consider this a 3 bedroom house! (Little added bonus that the layout was done in a way that makes it easy to give the walk-in-closet access to the upstairs bathroom - making it a "Jack-and-Jill" style bathroom - in the case that you wanted to make the closet an additional bedroom!)
I made this build for personal use, so it admittedly utilizes a lot more packs than I would normally prefer for this kind of series, so I included an unfurnished version as well! But, again, I do plan to upload an alternative option in the near future to place on this lot for those of you who aren't into the haunted house concept or simply don't have the Paranormal pack!
Here’s where I placed it in my save:
TOU: All I ask is that 1. you do not reupload and claim the build as your own (yes, even if you tweak it a little…) and 2. you tag me if you use it! I would love to see this in other people’s games and saves, that’s why I’m sharing it! ❤️
Additional screenshots are on my Patreon post. This build has been play-tested, but please let me know if you run into any in-game issues!

iirc you said in another post that the time between ALTTP and OOT was either 80 or 400 years. i haven’t played ALTTP yet but love timelines - are those numbers in the game somewhere?
I think I came up with those specific figures myself, BUT I do have some in-game and official text basis for them! The reason for the 80 year vs 400 years (or even longer) options is that there is actually some pretty big inconsistency between a) various parts of the game itself, b) the official game booklet, and c) Nintendo's big ole retcon of the Imprisoning War. Or possibly retCONS if we count TotK.
(Idk if you wanted an info dump, but you're getting one lol. THANKS FOR THE ASK!! 💜)
SO. The intro cutscene.
We start by hearing of legends from long ago, about a Golden Power that resides in a hidden land. Many people tried to find it; none ever returned. One day, evil power began to flow forth (we later learn this was due to Ganondorf finding the Triforce), so the King told the sages (originally translated as "Wise Men") to seal the Golden Land away for good. The narrator then describes those events as occurring so long ago that they became legend. Sounds like a while, right?
But then within about an hour or two of gameplay, you meet Sahrasrahla. Sahasrala? Saharasala? YOU MEET MR SALSA. And he ends up telling you a story about the knights that fought to protect the sages and who were almost all killed at the time, leaving YOU, the protagonist, as the last known member of that bloodline. According to Mr Salsa, those events took place only three or four generations ago.
That's not long at all! I mean, the exact numbers may vary depending on whether it's 3-4 generations from Salsa-san's point of view or Link's, as well as whether we give that person a human lifespan or an elf one (ALTTP has some Western fantasy elements, but the later games suggest that Hylians are basically just humans with pointy ears), but that would be where my ~80 years figure came from.
One of the later bits of dialogue then mentions Ganondorf rediscovering the Golden Land after the knowledge of it was lost - which may explain the discrepancy between the intro cutscene and Sahasralah(?)'s own dialogue. (I'm taking screenshots from Youtube FYI - see cutscene compilation here.)
All good so far?
WELP. THEN WE HAVE THE GAME BOOKLET.
By "game booklet" I mean the little brochure thing that used to come with physical games up until someone decided they weren't necessary. Boo and bah humbug. But I digress.
The original booklet for ALTTP, which you can find online, says that the Imprisoning War took place centuries ago. It also adds a bunch of other new lore details, including Ganondorf's last name, Dragmire - which never actually appears in-game. Both of those things are however missing from the truncated lore dump you get in the Gameboy Advance release's booklet:
And then there's Nintendo's Fallen Hero retcon. Lol.
See, the original "Imprisoning War" from ALTTP went something like this:
Ganondorf found an entrance to the Sacred Realm (formerly "Golden Land") and went in. Much like the others before him, he was then stuck there forever. UNLIKE the others before him however, he then randomly stumbled across the Triforce, which offered him the power to make a wish.
He made some unspecified wish along the lines of "I want to take over the world". As a result, the Sacred Realm became the Dark World and started to leak evil magic and demons into the Light World (aka "Overworld").
The knights fought against the demons, allowing the sages to seal the entrances ro the Sacred Realm. Note it's unclear if they even knew about Ganondorf's existence at this point.
Sometime later, Ganondorf manages to partially break free, and sends his alter ego Agahnim out to break the seal on the Sacred Realm and merge the two worlds into one.
And then we have Nintendo's retcon, which introduces the whole idea of the Fallen Hero - as a means of clumsily tying ALTTP to Ocarina of Time. So instead of the above:
Ganondorf publicly swears allegiance to the King of Hyrule, only to later backstab him and take over the castle. He then follows Link into the Temple of Time and grabs hold of the Triforce while the latter goes to take a nice long nap. He only manages to claim part of the Triforce (Power), so his wish remains incomplete. The other parts go to Link (Courage) and Zelda (Wisdom).
Seven years later, Link challenges Ganondorf to an epic showdown and loses. Ganondorf claims the remaining parts of the Triforce and uses them to transform into the Demon King. The seven sages, Zelda included, then seal both Ganon and the Triforce away in the Sacred Realm.
The names of the seven sages (per OoT) eventually become the names of the towns in Zelda II. Any remaining discrepancies are handwaved away as unreliable narrators.
Interestingly, TotK's Imprisoning War is much closer to ALTTP's version than Hyrule Historia's - which makes me wonder if that whole retcon is doomed to be retconned once again. Of course, the Triforce isn't present at all within TotK, but it's also a pretty compelling reason for why seven sages with secret stones couldn't win against the one guy with a secret stone. So there’s that.
But yeah, going back to that initial question: no, there's no specific figure provided for the time between the Imprisoning War and events of ALttP. Just depends on which piece of conflicting lore you feel like using lol.

Totk au idea, with ideas involving end game spoilers under the cut:
Link as the sage of forest! Like saria! A lot of totk revolves around exploring, sure, but it focuses a lot less on the untamed wilderness and Link’s relationship with it than botw, which has been his defining characteristic for the past six years (and generally for nearly forty). If Link was a sage, I’d like for him to go back to his roots and be something the grand scheme of hyrule wouldn’t consider as important anymore, but still is.
It’d be so cool to see what kind of powers that’d give him, it’d be a canon aligned way to give him all those cool nature magics I see a lot in fics! Maybe he could talk to animals, grow plants, purify running water, enhanced senses in the wild, animal empathy, all sorts!
When I was playing, I thought the secret stones were already assigned to their respective elements, and each sage just took up that mantle like in oot, tp, etc. However, in the wiki it said that each stone actually changed according to its wielder! Obviously I went looking for receipts in game, and I found them!
Each sage has their own ‘signature’, featuring a (sheikah?) eye and scribbles, which appears in the background of their sacred realm room, but most importantly here on their stones. Similarly, each signature has a colour associated with them. Rauru has white, sonia has a vivid yellow. Zelda gets her stone from rauru, and guess what colour it has? Yellow. Zelda and sonia have identical stones, down to the signature. It has an eye on the left, and a few curved lines branching off roughly the tear duct.
When ganon steals sonias stone, not only does it grow to fit him as the stones did noticeably for the goron sage, but it gains a new colour (that I previously thought to be general ‘corrupting evil’) and a new signature, one with a figure 8 on the right.
Now, at the very end of the game, Link drives the master sword into ganons secret stone (why or how it was on a dragon instead of fusing with it I have no idea), in theory destroying it, blowing it up and saving the world, yada yada (there certainly was a detonation). However, we could assume enough of the stone survived intact, or it got rewound at the same time Link and Zelda did, or that it reformed later so as not to upset the balance or smth (sages are famous for their reincarnation/spiritual successors, after all), which leaves us with one free secret stone of phenomenal power. Literally who else would zelda give it to?
Thing is, Link isnt very... Light and time magic are very much more zeldas thing. Link is more the wildcard, the child of the forest, the knight, the hero of the sword that seals the darkness. His job is practically to fade back into the summer mist once the world is saved, you can very much see that in totk with him refusing to associate with the champion title on his travels, and pre AND post game with him happiest vibing in zeldas shadow, not bringing attention to himself.
There is a precedent to a forest sage of course, saria, his best friend in a past life. In fact, the oot forest sage was originally intended to be the wind sage - it was in early screenshots of the game before it was released! There’s no reason at all that Link wouldn’t become a forest sage upon taking up the stone. Zelda has enough magic light in her for them both, with a kingdoms worth to spare XD.
I wonder what it would appear as? Necklace, gauntlet, anklet, earring, glove, belt, chest piece, circlet? A sheath? A bracelet? A hair ornament?

Hi clown husbandry tumblr! Mod grace here!
I’ve been having an issue where I just. Cannot see the asks in our ask box! And the ones that I do post.. disappear! Likee poof! I asked mod Ana if there were any backed up, and he sent me a TON screenshots of asks that I think have just been sitting there.
So I’m very sorry about that! I’m going to try to answer them in due time, now that I know that they’re.. sort of there I guess!! I’m honestly pretty frustrated with tumblr on this so if anyone has any sage like wisdom to offer me here it would be appreciated. (For context, it’s the two of us on this blog- I’m not the one who created it, and I’m primarily on mobile.)
I think I’m going to try to answer them via inserting the image, as I’ve done before- now that I have the screenshots. So hopefully you’ll start hearing more from me again soon!!

Recruiting Gale: Wizard Edition
Your companions have comments about each other immediately after being recruited, but Gale initiates a conversation with you. Specifically he says:
There are several unique reactions to this (I'll compile them some other time :P) but wizards have a truly unique reaction because instead of that he says this:
Telling him to pester you later just ends the dialogue. No matter what options you have available, wizard or otherwise, this conversation ends with Gale asking you to tell him if you meet any elder wizards because he needs advice.
What I find really interesting about this little interaction is your ability to lie.
If you succeed the dice roll on your lie:
And if you fail:
In both cases he assumes you are an apprentice wizard, but if you fail the roll his voice actor makes him sound very sympathetic, sort of big brotherly even. What's really interesting about this to me though is his statement that he only fears the unknown, there's more I would like to say about this, but I'll save it for a post where I break down some stuff about Gale's first weave scene where he is thinking about Mystra. There's some pretty big differences when interacting with him when you are a spell caster vs when you aren't. Anyway here's the rest of the interactions for when you don't try to lie to him, I'll slap them under a cut for your scrolling convenience.
If you do not lie to him, Gale will ask you if you consider yourself to be well read, maybe hoping you could be the great sage he needs to ask advice from. You have four options:
These screenshots are placed in order.
You were reading before being snatched:
You are a cringe fail wizard who spent too much time day drinking:
Choosing #3 looses you Gale approval:
And finally:
Khelben is another wizard from Waterdeep and chosen of Mystra who became her chosen after dying and being resurrected by her. He also appears to be a sort of friend/rival to Elminster, but I am not expert.
Anyway I hope this was interesting to you.
#baldur's gate 3#bg3#gale of waterdeep#bg3 spoilers#bg3 tav#gale is an interesting character#and the amount of variety in this game is amazing i love doing convos with different characters and classes to see the available options#larian did great with the branching options#i really hope developers are taking notes

Speaking Out and Sharing my experiences with Robo/Morgyn/Sage in full (TW)
Hello everyone, this is a serious post so please take it very seriously!
Here, this will be the first time that I will publicly speak out fully of the truth about one of the most horrible people that I have met, Robo/Morgyn/Sage. I used to be friends with them, but they hurt me and many others, so I don't want to associate with the gang anymore. This is also the first time I have ever call out someone or expose them publicly and he and the gang are still out there somewhere, but most of us are DONE with them and we don't trust them anymore.
Since the post is a little long, I would recommend reading the important sections (Incidents, 26th May 2022, Aftermath, Finding Out the Truth and My Advice), but if you want to read the whole thing, you can.
If anything happens to anyone, I will take full responsibility since call outs are a big deal and I care about other people's safety and wellbeing and I'm putting my career and myself in danger for the truth to be officially out and hopefully, we can fully move on and forget and Robo/Morgyn/Sage and his gang will be hold accountable of what they have done to most of us, including myself.

Haven't seen anyone talk about this but it's been on my mind. I loved memory #6 I just genuinely enjoy the Gerudo and adore when they appear. I noticed a couple things about their appearance. Some have shaved hair and Mohawks, they also seem to be wearing war makeup? Also they can control moldugas?! I loved it and it kinda got me thinking... why don't we see Gerudo's with shaved hair? or why does no one mention the fact they can control moldugas. The Gerudo now present more feminine attire; from hair to makeup. Sooo did the Gerudo just phase out of this style? did they forget how to control moldugas? Or did they stop theses traditions because the association with Ganon? or were they forced? idk I just really wanted someone else opinion on this because no one really seems to care. I feel as if it's important to understand tradition and how and why we celebrate it or how or why we stopped celebrating it.
Hellooo sorry for the late reply to that super interesting ask!!
I think it was actually a pretty clever way on the game's part to show (with a bunch of visual shortcuts) that gerudos used to be more warlike under Ganondorf's command, and then phased out of this after the whole Demon King situation --though it is worth notice that the Thunder Sage in the past already looks very much like a modern gerudo, and seems to align with the way they present in the current age.
So this could suggest a split already between the gerudos; either a deep-rooted one that pre-existed the zonai kingdom, or one where gerudos intending to betray Ganondorf perform a more "acceptable" version of femininity to better integrate in hylian society and make themselves less threatening overall. I doubt this version of Ganondorf would value a lot of traits hylians seem to associate with the feminine; it could be either about diplomacy or as an act of rebellion.
But, on a more meta level: I think it still pretty much aligns with every previous discussion about how gerudos softened for the benefit of hylians --or at least, for the player's sake. I don't know if my thoughts diverge enough from the original text to warrant a Gerudo Post 2 post-TotK, beyond moping the puddles of my brazen optimistic approach and meditate on how so much more... on target I was than I ever wanted to be in regards to their developement, but if it doesn't, I want to at least add this: the fact that we get introduced to Gerudo Town from the Bazaar by a bunch of weirdo creeps that want to try the limits of how much they can get away with pushing against the gerudos' boundaries and get inside their spaces because (and I quote, I took the screenshot how could I not) "Keeping us shut out only makes us all the more curious though! I mean, that's just common sense!" (guess who I then left stranded in the desert on purpose by refusing to complete his sidequest :) ), and then... *immediately* forces you, as the player, to act *in the exact same way* by refusing to take no for an answer and busting through the literal floor --like... is Link supposed to be morally different here because he has a better reason than them? Is the parallel meant to be made? I don't know, but it's less about Link than about the player, and I think softening the gerudos so they can be seen in a positive light in contrast to their more warlike ancestors is an interesting conversation to have in parallel of how devoted the BotW/TotK gerudos are to make themselves as palatable as possible to hylian males (= the player).
Again: I loved the scenes involving them, I adored!!! defending the town by their side this was one of the highlights of the game for me. But... Yeah. Yeah.
It's hard not to see the gerudos gradually stripped of their cultural autonomy, presenting their hard boundaries as just a cute thing when you kind of know there was probably a war fought about that at some point (at least in part), and not think to myself that there truly might have been something worth fighting for since devoured and lost.
#asks#thoughts#gerudos#gerudo#totk#totk spoilers#totk critical#I actually don't think it was worth it to get rid of the vai costume#if it was to redo the exact same thing anyway#but like even more aggressively#because gender is complicated and sure cultural appropriation and stuff#but at least link shows *some* compromise in botw#and so at first I was so happy in totk!! I thought the bunker would truly be off-limits#or that you had to actually earn your right to enter in some way#but no no you just HAVE to be a major creep#that's literally mandatory to progress the main quest#sorry I'm ranting AGAIN sorry sorry#thanks for the ask!! those are some great thoughts

Today's gameplay progress:
I finished patch 3.4 as Clio! (I started it earlier today, actually, so I did it in basically one go.) I'm hoping to keep up the same rate of progress for doing all of 3.5(5) tomorrow, so that after my last exam I can make a start on Stormblood!
I don't think I levelled up as her today, but in terms of her levels in general: she's a level 73 gunbreaker, level 64 dancer, high level 63 red mage, and still level 70 reaper and sage. I intend to use dancer and red mage for the Stormblood story where possible, especially after figuring out that Clio could canonically pick up the class (via Iris, one of my OCs) during 3.2!
I did also play as Lorenza today, but that was not for the purpose of making any progress as her - instead, it was simply so that I could accompany @snow-system-wol in the final area through to the end of the game. Congratulations on making it there!! You did super well!!!
As part of this, I of course took many screenshots. The ones I will be posting here in this post are quiiiite vague, hopefully; all they have in them are characters and backgrounds. I will however be putting all of them under the readmore, because of the "being taken in the final area and boss arena" reasons.
Some close-ups I managed to take of Lorenza, Nimda (@soothingmind) and S'ria (@snow-system-wol) =3
..Some brief interruptions to the plot in the form of Nimda and S'ria doing some gathering =P
Some post-final-boss-defeat shots while everyone else left the instance~
And finally, some very hastily-taken shots of my light party, after everyone had left. I didn't want to stay for long, but I still thought it would be neat to put everyone here ^-^

Predictions for TotK’s Structure
I posted this somewhere else, but I wanna share it here, too.
So now that we have our last trailer pre-launch, we've seen a bunch of stuff. I wanna make some predictions here about the structure I think the game will be following. Keep in mind this is only based on the trailers and no artbook leaks, which I have not seen.
So, first thing's first. Zelda's role here I think is going to be significant.
I said in another post that this scene looks like a debug camera over gameplay footage to me. The framing, the stillness of Zelda, the camera movements, the way the environment is moving. There's no way this is a cutscene. That's what my eyes are telling me, anyway. So that would mean playable Zelda somehow, some way. I think I have an idea of how that would work, considering she got separated from Link. So let's take a look here... First thing to note is, in the above screenshot, the background looks significantly traversable and manipulable. This is also true in this shot...
Talking to the supposed Zonai man. The background looks veeeery similar. I'm willing to bet this is the same room as the shot above, or at least the same structure. I am also willing to bet that this shot is a conversation in which Zonai man is encouraging Zelda to forge ahead on her path, which leads her to the previous shot. She's on her way somewhere. And where would that be?
Here, perhaps? This appears to be over the Great Plateau, maybe, judging by the background. But it's not very high. There's no sign of sky islands whatsoever. That's a bit odd, isn't it? Here's why I think that's important...
As Zelda falls, she starts glowing in a particular way we've seen before. I believe this is her getting magicked away to safety... to the room we see in those first shots. But where is there? Some people are speculating it's the past, but... I am speculating it is in fact a Realm of Memories which will contain a few segments where Zelda is playable. This is what I think her "come and find me" at the end of the trailer is referring to, because...
Same glowy particles that were surrounding Zelda, but now they're covering a Sanctum that looks awfully pristine. I think this scene is Link walking through a memory. Some people have theorized there will be time travel, but I think I can buy a realm of memories better. Would be more in line with BotW. Eventually, Link will be able to enter this realm and reunite with Zelda. Now, here's another thing that supports why I think this...
This shot of the Zonai man is a memory, I'm willing to bet. I think this is a memory of the original sealing of this Ganondorf, pre-10k years ago. Look in the background. We see a Rito with the Great Eagle Bow and a Gerudo with the Scimitar of the Seven, being corrupted by malice like the Zonai man is here. There's even malice particles floating around in the air. Neither of these warriors look like Riju or Tulin (or Teba), nor do they resemble Revali or Urbosa. I think these are Champions or Sages of old, and this is a memory that Zelda sees when she goes into the realm of memories and speaks with the Zonai man as seen in the first shots I posted. That is how I think this all connects together. It's possible that the Hylia-looking lady (who is likely Hylia herself or an ancestor of Zelda) using sealing powers to blast a laser at that horde of Moldugas is also a memory.
So how does this all fit into the structure of the game? I bet we get memory segments with playable Zelda in between dungeons. I suspect there will be at least four of them. I think that once Link get's that dungeon-clear fanfare, the game will shift settings over to Zelda's perspective. And the way I think this will work is that Link must involve himself with each of the four races. Link completes a segment with them, he gains their allyship, and we see Zelda in the realm of memories. Rinse and repeat, in any order. At least for the first four. After that, I think is where things will start to get linear.
There's a progression in their designs here. In earlier trailer footage, Sidon does not yet have the crown on his head and Tulin only has the swallow bow and does not yet have the Great Eagle Bow which we see peeking on the corner of the shot (along with Yunobo's Boulder Breaker). So I think this is a story event that can only take place after you do each of their individual plotlines, and it will culminate into a linear story for the second half of the game, maybe. So we have, according to my speculations... Tutorial > Link, dungeon > Zelda, memory > Link, dungeon > Zelda, memory > Link, dungeon > Zelda, memory > Link, dungeon > Zelda, memory... which them culminates into this scene...
Zelda is on the platform we see over the Great Plateau in that shot I posted earlier. And she has the Master Sword. She's probably fixing it up. I think this will conclude her playable storyline. So then we move to... Link enters the realm of memories to find her > the next four dungeons open up (im assuming 8 dungeons not counting a possible final one because there are 8 phials) > the story begins to move into the linear path where the Champion Successors come together and fight for Hyrule. So, I could be totally off-base here, but this is what I'm reading from this trailer alone. This is what I think (and hope) the structure will be like. Once Zelda and Link reunite perhaps she will become an NPC ally like the Champion Successors. That'd be cool. I just have a very hard time believing that Zelda's role in this game will not be a parallel journey to Link's that we see unfold on screen, whether at our own hands or not. I think she's going to be more front-and-center than we think.
#legend of zelda#tears of the kingdom#theory#zelda theory#totk theory#some of this could be considered copium but. i think im onto something. i really do.

2, 12, 35 for Faba AND 22, 55, 56 for Morgyn!
OHOHOH let's get this party started 👀
Reminder that I'm still taking questions from this post so go crazy. I love coming up with headcanons for my little pixels.
Anyways, this is gonna get long (as usual lmao), so all answers are found under the cut:
L. Faba
2. What’s their biggest regret?
Being careless and unprepared during the conflict with the ancients. Although it wasn't entirely her fault, she firmly believes that this is what caused Simeon to impulsively jump to her aid and lose a hand in the process. Had she not been distracted, she would have been able to deflect the attack herself and Simeon would have never had to act as a shield.
This conflict has been briefly mentioned in the Sages' introduction posts here, here and here, but I'll eventually go into more detail as I start posting the story I'm writing (which will hopefully be soon 👁️👄👁️).
12. What’s their ideal vacation like?
Anywhere but the beach. L. does not tan, so overexposure to the sun will basically make her look like a lobster out of the sea. With this in mind, she'd much rather prefer to spend a full two weeks somewhere surrounded by nature (think Henford-on-Bagley), preferably on her own. Though she certainly wouldn't mind to have Morgyn tag along. As much as she enjoys the calm a place like that provides, she also knows she'll quickly get bored of it and the young Sage of Untamed magic is the perfect person to keep things interesting.
35. Do/did they want children?
Heck no. Despite loving to teach, L. literally cannot stand to be around young children. It's not that she doesn't LIKE children, she just has massive mental breakdowns whenever around them.
"Why are you crying? Oh god please stop crying. No, that's spider venom, you cannot drink that. Get your hands off my hair. Why are they sticky? WHY ARE YOU SWIMMING IN MY CAULDRON, WHO BIRTHED YOU, SIMEON HELP-"
ᎷᎧᏒᎶᎩᏁ ᏋᎷᏰᏋᏒ
22. Are they a dog person or a cat person — or something else?
Morgyn is 100% a dog person and absolutely adores bigger breeds. They actually have a dog of their own, named Asmodeus. He's a Dobermann who looks a fair bit intimidating but is nothing more than a silly goofball that accidentally breaks way too many things around the house.
Behold, the beast himself and a casual Morgyn after a hard day's work. Not my best screenshot, but I really wanted to share this cute moment <3
55. Who do they look up to most?
Tess Dyer, the previous Sage of Untamed Magic. Or at least they used to, before she disappeared without a trace. She was practically family, given that she'd taken Morgyn under her wing when they first showed up at the Magic Realm as a teenager, with the aspiring dream of becoming a spellcaster. Not only was she an incredibly gentle soul towards Morgyn, she was also the most powerful spellcaster at the time. Highly respected and incredibly patient, but undeniably strict all the same. At this point it's safe to say that Morgyn has followed in her steps and the spellcaster community regards them in a similar manner today.
56. What do they smell like?
When they're not swimming in some expensive designer fragrance? Something close to cinammon and burning firewood. It's an incredibly comforting scent that a certain someone enjoys a little bit too much eheh I wanna start posting screenshots of the two of them so bad but I need to write it down first so it makes sense, hELP

Hey, remember that post I made about what job each Doctor would main in FFXIV? Well, I’m finishing up on levelling all jobs to max level, and the idea may or may not have jumped into my head to actually do a glam for each of those jobs I picked. And I may or may not have been completely unable to get said idea out of my head.
It’s a work in progress. Some are more accurate than others. I’ve already spent almost 2 million gil on this project (most of that being accounted for by War, 9, and 10′s respective chest pieces).
Here’s some screenshots of my WIPs in mediocre lighting:
12 - Sage
War - Dark Knight
13 - Summoner
10 - Gunbreaker
6 - Red Mage (yes, his signature look is impossible without a serious dye system overhaul, so I cheated and went with his blue palette. Yes, I made my Red Mage overwhelmingly blue. Deal with it.)
9 - Astrologian
8 - Reaper (There’s no good coat + waistcoat piece in this entire godforsaken game, so let’s just say this is his summer look. I know the Doctor would never be caught dead wearing shortsleeves but neither would they be caught dead chucking a scythe around as a lizard girl so it’s a moot point. And the Doctor is caught dead, multiple times, it’s kind of their thing, so it’s extremely moot.)
5 - Paladin (Can’t dye parts independently so no red accents, sorry ): )
3 - Monk (Unfortunately, the frilly top dyes really poorly and doesn’t really do that beautiful outfit justice. Oh well.)
Suggestions are greatly appreciated, especially for the ones I have yet to do (how the FUCK am I going to do 7′s outfit?) And no, there isn’t really any good kerchief/necktie/bowtie necklace items in game (but plenty of chokers, if you’re into that), so accurate neckwear isn’t really possible.
A full set probably won’t be ready any time soon, mostly because I’m saving Black Mage as my last job to level and I’m really not looking forward to it. Sorry, 7, you’ll just have to wait.
