Marvel Super-Heroes 69 - Marvel Comics - January 1978 Lo, The Leader Lives - 18 pages - reprinted from The Incredible Hulk 115 Marvel Comics May 1969 [minus pages 3 and 8 for whatever reason] Script by Stan Lee - Pencils by Herb Trimpe - Inks by Dan Adkins - Letters by Artie Simek - Editing by Stan Lee (original Editor) Characters: Hulk [Bruce Banner]; Thunderbolt Ross; Betty Ross; Glenn Talbot; Leader; Watcher (cameo flashback); Humanoids (cameo flashback) Synopsis: With the Hulk once again in custody, Ross tries to find someone who can put the jade giant under wraps for good. Lucky for him the "reformed" Leader shows up and creates an unbreakable plastic prison that will hold the Hulk forever. At some point, I don’t remember how or when, I ended up having this comic as a kid. And even though I saw The Leader on the 1981 Hulk cartoon, I was pretty sure his name was Lo The Leader and I don’t think I was corrected on it until 2000 when I was managing the comic shop and reading the then current Paul Jenkins run on The Incredible Hulk. (I read it 12-21 March to December of 2000) I heard some speculation about The Leader maybe showing up in the MCU and the name Leader just sounds so much smaller than Lo The Leader. #theleader #lotheleader #lotheleaderlives #hulk #hulksmash #incrediblehulk #theincrediblehulk #thuinderboltross #bettyross #mcu #marvelcinematicuniverse #pauljenkins #starwars #marvelcomics #cartoons #cartooncharacters #marvelsuperheroes #marvelsuperheroes69 #booksofinstagram #bookstagram #incredibllehulk115 #stanllee #vintageccomics #herbtrimpe #danadkins #brucebanner (at Portland, Oregon) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxkYBUbBuKJ/?igshid=1m49zd229dnap
