I am so confused. You'd think grown adults would be able to control how they express there emotions. But honestly my coworker has anger issues.

Quite commonly she'll let out loud groan of frustration. Yesterday she threw a tantrum that reminded me of what I would do as a child when asked to do something I did not want to do, and I DID have anger issues as a child. But she was slaming drawers, and loudly slamming things into them. We work with historical documents (for the gov) and expect the treat things with respect. While what she was handling weren't directly these documents, and there is at least one other copy of it, I'd still think it wouldn't be tolerated to treat it as such.

Yet no one said anything. It is a very open space, and I am 90% our supervisors could hear this for going on. But no one said anything. Not even the guy sitting less than 15 feet away from what was going on, not even a glance to what was happening. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt 'cause I know he was wearing headphones, both being in. But still, it made it seem like it was normal, which slamming of the drawers have happened before, but not THAT dramatically.

What dose not help is that loud expressions of anger and frustration causes a trauma response in me. It's gotten so bad that I'm now scared of the coworker themself, like I get a flight of fight response when I see them. I have frozen on a few occasions. Not to mention I took most of last week off debating if I should quit, even though I only had three weeks left (now only about 2). The only thing that stopped me was that I had person stuff at my desk I'd need to get.

Now here I am today, not emotionally capable of going into work because I am scared.

-but she was saved by an EVIL ICE ELEMENTAL on the condition that she make an EVIL BLOOD PACT to carry out his EVIL DEEDS in exchange for EVIL ICE POWERS

-so she does that and the EVIL ICE ELEMENTAL raises her to be EVIL but she doesn't REALLY want to be evil.... BUT she doesnt know any other WAY...... her life is HARD and everyone HATES her because she is doing EVIL ICE MAGIC STUFF in the dang woods

-until one day she has ENOUGH and she KILLS her EVIL ICE ELEMENTAL DAD and it is VERY EMOTIONAL and her feelings are SO COMPLEX AND DARK AND MYSTERIOUS.......

-anyway she gets to keep his EVIL ICE POWERS after that but who would ever befriend her when she is so MISUNDERSTOOD AND SORTA EVIL.......

anyway i guess shes like. kinda feral and existing on the fringes of society when destiny Encounters Her and mal is sees destinys whole deal and is like "truly we are enemies on so many levels. are you here to duel me. all i know is COMBAT and LIVING IN THE WOODS and RANDOM PEOPLE TRYING TO KILL ME BECAUSE I AM AN EVIL WARLOCK." and destinys just like. "well not really. im just out here doing some kind of assignment for Magical Girl College. but i AM told that magical girls and evil warlocks are usually enemies sooooo like how evil are we talking?"

i like to think they have kind of a slow MORTAL ENEMIES to acquaintances who kind of dunk on each other to friends to ????????? sorta arc to their relationship

ANYWAY. they might kiss about it im not sure. i think ive said something about destiny being aromantic but im not sure how attached i am to that. it probably wouldnt be the first thing ive retconned about her if i do decide to change it but WE'LL SEE.

one thing i really like is how they obviously went out of their way to match asahi's speech patterns with his and yotsuyu's father. the guy is a minor NPC who barely has any lines, and yet despite him being an old man who doesn't particularly look like asahi he uses the exact same inflections and tone of voice. you've already been listening to asahi being a creep this whole time, and then suddenly if you're paying attention it becomes so clear where he got it from. he really does just sound exactly like his dad.

(and it makes absolutely everything about the situation that much more skin-crawling, considering what their father is actually saying in the scene where that stands out the most.)

again, minor NPC with very little screentime; it would have been easy for them to just give him A Voice and be done with it, and instead they took the opportunity to imply volumes about asahi and his dynamic with his family in such an effective, understated way. anyway the naeuri siblings are ruining my life

As someone who is canonically strong. I think the thing that bothers me the most is when people go out of their way to try to carry something heavy for me even when they know how strong I am.
