After paying her $120.00 one day and another $257.00 a couple days later, Debera said I am dirty, smell bad and she has to sanitize everything I come into contact with to protect her other customers from becoming sick and if I "answer her back" her husband Martin the other owner of the store will talk with Pasadena Police on the payroll of the Chinese underworld to deal with me. Shocked because this was the first time she spoke to me like this I said I'm no dirtier than most of the customers I have seen while doing business with you for the past ten years that you don't humiliate including a homeless man that you give coffee and food to everyday when you tell him it's time to wake up and unhook the bungee cord he holds his cart to your front door with and allow him to come in to steal . Then today on Friday morning at seven o'clock November 29th, 2024 Debera began following through on her threat to punish me for what she considered "answering her back" by having an 'Iron Wall' Security Guard accost me in such a way it was impossible to petition by standing in front of my signs and screaming. On my way out of the Market Place Mall there were two Pasadena Cops standing outside their S.U.V.s with flashing lights who let me pass without a word. I had hoped to go into Ralph's grocery store to use the bathroom and buy a six pack of Sprite with the $50.00 gift card a woman gave to me the other day but Charles a cashier or assistant manager has been making credible threats to beat my ass even after I spoke to the Store Manager Apema twice on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024 only being told to ignore him because he won't attack knowing it would cost him his job and called and explained the situation to the 911 Emergency Operator. Do you know how many homeless who are not petitioning sleep closer to the rear entrance of Ralph's than I do who are allowed to use the bathroom as many times as they want and who steal?

everyone and their mother has heard me yap about this but ooooooo it is so interesting to think about food accessibility for college students with dietary restrictions especially as a guy who lives on a fairly self-enclosed campus...like at some point I would really like to do some sort of comic looking into 1) the differing experiences of students living with food restrictions on campus and 2) how administration at college make decisions about how to accommodate students...it is such a big thing that influences such a major part of peoples lives and ive found that so few people think about it unless theyre directly affected and I am just so interested in how peoples access to safe food and safe places to eat food influences their daily lives and whether or not that information can be used to improve conditions for them. if any other college students with food allergies/dietary restrictions have thoughts on this that they want to discuss I will love you forever and ever

becoming largely chill about most things. but i give myself permission to be mad about car infrastructure, car dependence, and cars flagrantly ignoring pedestrian right-of-way and generally endangering beings of flesh. because this is one of the few truly moral axis of this world

#txt#going through his ig stories and getting jumpscared#GIRL PUT A CONTENT WARNING#WARN A GUY#also they ate at carbone at south pointe and im like wait but they went golfing-#*immediately gets reminded of the huge stupid ass fucking golf course that takes up half that dumb manmade pennisula of a city*#i feel so much hatred towards that thing i erase from my mind for my own health#also i did go wow the amount of traffic they had to wade through just to 1. get there and 2. get out#ive been corrupted by soflo the first thing i think about is not the enjoyment but the traffic#if you want to know the relation of carbone to catch (the seafood place the team ate at before they went clubbing) its a block away#they like dining in south point lol#from what i remember ages ago south pointe was more of a quaint residential area that tourists avoided because anything past 5th street#wasnt worth looking at so a lot of residents spent more time on that side of the city than the north if they wanted to chill at the park#that also connects to the beach with a cool pier like it was always regarded more of a hidden gem than anything else#that families spent time in on weekends playing soccer or picnicing or drinking mate like i know yearly easter egg hunts were held there#i say that but there WERE more expensive restaurants in the area before (joes stone crab which has been there for ages)#i just suppose now a lot MORE have opened up since then and kinda transformed the area into a bougier place#as if there isnt a cheap sandwich shop like a block away too lmao#yeah the development of “expensive food restaurants” in quiet residential areas is weird! and that city is filled with it!#i could go on about how hispanic refudgees viewed mb since the 60s to the 00s versus how tourists view it now but oop! thats an essay!

Trying something new with some product reviews of things I’ve tried recently. ^_^
Clearly Natural’s Essentials Aloe Vera bar soap: 3/10 😣 Pretty packaging, decent herbal smell (though it inexplicably makes me think of cinnamon rolls…not sure what that’s about.) Very drying!!! Left a weird matte stickiness feeling on my skin and sensation is majorly important to me. Not even gonna try again.
Aura Cacia’s Purifying Eucalyptus shower tablets: 7/10 😚 This is my second box, actually. I do wish they were a little stronger because I like to be overwhelmed, but if you like a gentle scent, these are great.
Vitamins and Sea Beauty’s Sea Salt Peach body wash: 9/10 😍 Also a second bottle, and one of my favorites. Smells like fresh peaches, not drying, good bubbles, and very large bottle so the price isn’t unreasonable. Only complaint is that there’s not much of a lingering perfume, and I like it so much that I wish there was.

The fact that somehow society got so fucked up to see weight loss as something always positive is insane to me, I connect it only to illnesses and poverty

The other day at Food City one staff member got mad at another and angrily threw my fruit on the floor. Then they just picked it up and scanned it themself and handed it to me. Thanks

Some last pics from York:
Amazing vegan bacon, apple & stroop pancakes I got for breakfast on Tuesday, and some of the vegan tapas we had that night. We ate soooo much delicious food on this trip 👌
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chocolate lollies we made at the chocolate story experience!! We got to try the chocolate at every stage of production, they showed us how to taste it properly, we made our lollies and then watched a demo of them making their own chocs. Of course I got a box and they are freaking delicious.

And Maggie this evening after we brought her home. She spent at least an hour just lying on top of me on the sofa snuggling into me bc she was so happy to be home with us 😭 Now we've had a couple of city breaks we decided we'll defo go on a countryside getaway to a cottage next where we can take her with us. It's good to be back! Planning to get on the bike tomorrow for some me time and to get back into some kind of routine ☺️

USA please listen to me: the price of “teaching them a lesson” is too high. take it from New Zealand, who voted our Labour government out in the last election because they weren’t doing exactly what we wanted and got facism instead.
Trans rights are being attacked, public transport has been defunded, tax cuts issued for the wealthy, they've mass-defunded public services, cut and attacked the disability funding model, cut benefits, diverted transport funding to roads, cut all recent public transport subsidies, cancelled massive important infrastructure projects like damns and ferries (we are three ISLANDS), fast tracked mining, oil, and other massive environmentally detrimental projects and gave the power the to approve these projects singularly to three ministers who have been wined and dined by lobbyists of the companies that have put the bids in to approve them while one of the main minister infers he will not prioritise the protection of endangered species like the archeys frog over mining projects that do massive environmental harm. They have attacked indigenous rights in an attempt to negate the Treaty of Waitangi by “redefining it”; as a backup, they are also trying to remove all mentions of the treaty from legislation starting with our Child Protection laws no longer requiring social workers to consider the importance of Maori children’s culture when placing those children; when the Waitangi Tribunal who oversees indigenous matters sought to enquire about this, the Minister for Children blocked their enquiry in a breach of comity that was condemned in a ruling — too late to do anything — by our Supreme Court. They have repealed labour protections around pay and 90 day trials, reversed our smoking ban, cancelled our EV subsidy, cancelled our water infrastructure scheme that would have given Maori iwi a say in water asset management, cancelled our biggest city’s fuel tax, made our treasury and inland revenue departments less accountable, dispensed of our Productivity Commission, begun work on charter schools and military boot camps in an obvious push towards privatisation, cancelled grants for first home buyers, reduced access to emergency housing, allowed no cause evictions, cancelled our Maori health system that would have given Maori control over their own public medical care and funding, cut funding of services like budgeting advice and food banks, cancelled the consumer advocacy council, cancelled our medicine regulations, repealed free prescriptions, deferred multiple hospital builds, failed to deliver on pre-election medical promises, reversed a gun ban created in response to the mosque shootings, brought back three strikes = life sentence policy, increased minimum wage by half the recommended amount, cancelled fair pay for disabled workers, reduced wheelchair services, reversed our oil and gas exploration ban, cancelled our climate emergency fund, cut science research funding including climate research, removed limits on killing sea lions, cut funding for the climate change commission, weakened our methane targets, cancelled Significant National Areas protections, have begun reversing our ban on live exports. Much of this was passed under urgency.
It’s been six months.
