Okay so it's almost midnight for me and I still feel wide awake so time to rant!
I hate how much I see Kaito whitewashed in art like it genuinely pisses me the fuck off because Kaito is tan yet I've seen art where he looks as white as milk and I haven't really seen other people talk about it that much so I just thought I'd spread the word because it's something I see way too often.

Aquaman was only patrolling the ocean, not expecting a baby mer swimming with the whales along the way.
It one of the few things he would like to do in his free time is to help the ocean sea with minor problems, a seal having his neck stuck with a plastic can holder, a a couple shark with a hook stuck to her fin/nose or tailfin, a couple of trapped rare fish in poacher traps.
He wasn't expecting a small group of whales, mainly a momma whale and two Baby whales to swim by singing their song while hunting a vast enormous group of krills.
Only to hear a tiny little baby mer singing along with them. It was a boy, with chubby lil arms, a beautiful trails of sparkling white and neon green color, fade gray and black tips mer tailwind. A fainted trail of electric shock probably from a mishap by jellyfish tracing from one of his chubby hand down to his body.
Hair white as snow, eyes greener then the grass on land, tanned skin and a odd sliver mechanism purple clock on a necklace that was ticking slowly despite being in deep underwater.
Arthur was going to get closer but the Momma whale Block his view using her vast body after she noticed him getting closer, the two Baby whales hiding behind her along with the baby mer.
Meanwhile Danny as clockwork apprentice until he grows into his state as the ruler of ghost realm and away from noisy observators has been on a mission to keep the timeline in check in other dimensions. Clockwork insisted this form would do the trick

Sirius Black x fem!reader who takes Sirius to a winter cabin [732 words]
CW: celebrating Christmas, Sirius pretending to be disgruntled even though there's literally no place he'd rather be (other than the Maldives, perhaps)
“You know we could be in the Maldives right now, right?” Sirius drawls from his place stretched out on the luxurious queen sized bed adorned with a copious amount of bedding and faux fur throw blankets. “Wearing far less clothes and not needing to risk splinters every hour just to stay warm.”
You smirk as you watch the log you just added to the fire catch; sparkles crackling and shooting from the bark as you close the windowed door to the woodstove.
“This is romantic, though.” You argue, hanging the fire poker back up and turning to face Sirius. His long sleeved sleep shirt was so thin and tight that you could make out every curve of his upper body; pyjama pants hanging sinfully low on his waist as he laid watching you, head propped up by his fist and his legs crossed casually at the ankle.
You thought, then, that Sirius Black - with his inky black curls falling nearly to his shoulders, his fair skin decorated by high contrasting black ink, clad in his comfies and surrounded by fur blankets, the numerous windows of the tiny cabin giving you a perfect view of the snow covered mountains surrounding you - had never looked more beautiful.
“You know what else is romantic?” He asks with an arched brow, feigning insolence even as his eyes track the way that the hem of his thick jumper you were wearing rose slightly higher along your bare thighs as you made to crawl back into the bed. “Being served drinks that are equal parts sugar and rum whilst laying under a cabana and insisting that my sunburn is going to fade into a tan even though both of us know it isn’t true.”
“You know what’s not romantic?” You murmur as you settle into the bed, slotting your bodies together as Sirius pulls one of the thick furry throws over the two of you. “Listening to you yelp when you feel a little bottom feeder fish nudging your toes and claiming that the barracudas are after you again.”
“I thought you said you loved the sound of my voice?” He asks accusatively.
“Nor is peeling said burn off your back like layers of a very pink onion.” You continue, pressing a kiss to his down turn lips as he narrows his eyes at you.
“You’re very mean to me.” He pouts, though he readily accepts your kisses.
“Am I?” You murmur into his cheek as you move to trail kisses along his jaw; a content sigh escaping your boyfriend as he closes his eyes and melts into the bed. “I only wanted a white Christmas.” You pout as you pull away, batting your eyelashes at Sirius as he cracks one eye open to cut you a look.
“And a white Christmas my girl got, hm?” He responds before wrapping his arms around your middle and rolling over, eliciting a squeal from you as he settles you atop of him chest to chest. “What does that make me?”
“The best.” You agree readily, pressing another kiss to his lips, smiling at the appreciative hum that earned you. The moment was ruined, however, when his icy cold hands wormed their way under the hem of your stolen jumper to settle on your lower back. “I take it back; I take it back, you’re the worst!”
“The worst?” Sirius hums casually, strengthening his hold on you ever so slightly as you try to wiggle out of his grasp. “But I sacrificed sandy beaches and tropical drinks and swimming with dolphins for you. Seems only fair you warm up my hands.”
“You need to see a doctor.” You grumble as you relent to being used as his personal furnace. “You must have circulatory issues.”
“Or my beautiful darling girl has sequestered me in a tiny wood-heated cabin in the height of winter.”
You lift your head to rest your chin on Sirius’ chest; cataloguing all the ways in which his face was at complete odds with his voice. The soft upturn of his lips, the slow, relaxed blinks as his eyes flickered across your features in much the same way yours were flickering across his.
“I’m beautiful and darling, hm?”
“The beautifullest and darlingest.” He confirms readily, and you can't help but smile at him; he can’t help but smile right back.
“Happy Christmas, Siri.”
“It really, really is.” He agrees.

Ghost wants a dog. He's thought about it for a while, done some research, put out feelers. He's allowed to have a dog where he live, has a house to himself not five minutes from base. Waste of space, he used to think, but space enough for a dog.
He needs a big dog. He's a big lad. When some people think "big dog" they're thinking of a German Shepherd Good dogs, he's sure. But only 40 kilos, max. He needs something bigger, he thinks.
At first, he thought he'd like himself a Rottweiler. Hefty. Big bodied and boisterous. Easily trainable if you've got the time and the grit, both he figured he had in spades, so long as he wasn't on an op. But then he read about tail docking and, well... he couldn't bring himself to think about it any more. Those poor puppies, he thinks.
He goes home with Soap, visiting the MacTavish farm. They're friends, he wants to see the sheep, he tells Soap. Tells himself. He won't admit that he just wants to spend more time with Johnny.
The MacTavish's have Border Collies to herd their sheep. Practical. Cute, he likes the pups, but much too small for him. Not to mention intelligence to rival the rookies he had to whip into shape on base and tripple their energy. He wasn't sure he'd want to deal with that.
But while out, on their way into town, he saw it. A huge dog standing amongst someone else's flock, head heald high and nose in the wind. Soap knew the farmer from his childhood, drove them up the lane when he caught Ghost staring. Due to his staring, Ghost had missed the sign they passed, though Soap didn't. 'Pyrenees puppies 4 sale' it read.
The farmer smiled when he noticed John, the boy who left the fields to play soldier and came back a man. John introduced him as Lieutenant 'Ghost' Riley. Ghost rolled his eyes and stuck out his hand. "Simon. Saw your dog in the field, never saw one like it. Wanted to know more." A short introduction, straight to the point.
The response was the opposite. The farmer gave him what felt like his life's story. Took what seemed to Ghost to be a year before he got to telling him about the dog, a Great Pyrenees, apparently. A large bodied, heavy white coated livestock guardian breed. He had two, the one in the field was the sire, the dam was in the barn. As he spoke, he lead the two men towards that very barn.
The farmer entered first, to separate the mother from the pups, for their protection, he said. In the barn was a sight that melted the hardened Lieutenant into a puddle of goo: a litter of snow white, fluffy puppies. Huge puppies. Sticks and hay and debris were stuck all over their fluffy bodies, Simon picked out what he could from the pups as they wallered and slobbered all over him.
Soap took over speaking to the farmer as Ghost slowly accepted that he would never again have crisp black clothes. That everything in his future would be covered in white fluff. The life expectancy of his washer and dryer had just been halved, he suspected.
The farmer explained their personality: that females tended to be more protective, they'd be a home body, not exactly a jogging companion. Loyal but brutish, often misconstrued as lazy. The beast out in the field with the flock would lay about and let the sheep climb all over him, wouldn't even bother to get up if someone hopped the fence like. But if he heard a sound he didn't like, or saw another dog or a predator in the field, he'd let loose a bark that'd freeze a man's blood, and hunt the perceived threat down come hell or high water. "And you should see her in action," the farmer laughed and shook his head. "Almost killed the male over getting too close to his own pups. Protective to a fault. 'S why I had to turn her out, you see."
Ghost saw an oversized cotton ball trip over it's own feet as it tried to get to his fingers because it needed to be pet. It was the only one without any tan or grey patch. Ghost saw his future best friend.
The farmer started to explain that these pups ought to be sent off to other farms, they wouldn't do as family dogs, but John walked him out of the barn. Explained that the man they'd left behind had no family to speak of, needed something other than work to focus on, and if anyone were able to handle the instincts and behavioral issues of a livestock guardian without livestock, it'd be Simon. The farmer agreed, so long as he made sure to choose a male, for safety reasons.
The two drove off another twenty minutes later, after Simon had listened with rapt attention to the farmer detailing everything about what the pups had been through up to that point, and what he'd need to do moving forward to make sure his little guy was happy and healthy, Ghost holding young Spirit to his chest.
From that point on all of Ghost's belongings had long white fur and drool on them, courtesy of his personal polar bear.
On the day of their wedding their ring bearer was their own pseudo-bear, and nobody left the venue without drool or fur on their clothes.

Coriolanus Snow did not like Sejanus Plinth. Anyone with a brain could see that—expect maybe the boy himself, but it wasn’t because of the reason most people thought.
Sure, Coriolanus thought he was annoying and he hated him because he was district, but that wasn’t the only reason.
In fact, the main reason was you—Sejanus’ long time girlfriend that had caught Coryo’s eye the minute he saw you.
It was during your first year at the academy, and of course he had spotted you on Sejanus’ arm, looking beautiful in a white dress while Sejanus wore a white suit to match.
Coriolanus didn’t even know who you were, but he was fascinated by you and the the aura of innocence that you held which captivated the man. The whole night, he couldn’t take his eyes off of you and even when you had left, you plagued his mind.
It drove him crazy, and Coriolanus made it his mission from then on out to get closer to you. Of course, it was difficult seeing as you were all over Sejanus and even by your final year, the two of you were still painfully in love.
It made Coriolanus sick to see the two of you together, knowing that a district boy like Sejanus didn’t deserve someone so kind and pure. You were as pure as snow he liked to think; only good enough for him.
It was him that you belonged with; him that you belonged to. Sure, maybe you didn’t see it yet, but Coryo made a vow that you would. Sooner or later, he would devise a plan to get you away from Sejanus, away from the man that didn’t deserve you.
Coryo would have you all to himself before you knew it, and he did.
For as smart and you and Sejanus were, you never even saw him coming. Neither of you suspected that the man that you both had befriended in your second year, the friend that you had invited to your homes and dined with would end up becoming closer than that.
Sure, you always knew that the bond between the three of you was special, but never did you imagine that it would be this special. You and Sejanus had a plan. After graduating, you were going to get married and of course, it was only then would the two of you finally have sex for the first time.
The two of you vowed to wait for each other, wanting to make it special but now all of that was out the window as Coriolanus and your boyfriend stared at you.
A slight smirk adored Coryo’s pale face while Sejanus’ tan face looked worried. Worried that he had possibly overwhelmed you or even scared you by proposing what he did. Proposing…well you could hardly even thinking about it without your body heating up. It felt wrong; getting warm inside at the idea of your best friend, of your boyfriend’s best friend, taking your virginity.
But you did.
No matter how scared or confused you felt in that moment, you still felt a fire in your belly that you had never felt before. Looking at Coryo, seeing him in that light for the first time and being allowed to…
It almost made you say yes before Sejanus spoke up.
“Sweetheart, you don’t have to,” He told you reassuringly, and even though Coryo felt his eye twitch in annoyance he didn’t say anything as you talked to your boyfriend. “If you’re uncomfortable with any of this, we can easily leave and—”
“I want to.”
Coryo wasn’t expecting those words to fly out of your mouth, and he relished in the way you almost seemed ashamed for speaking too quickly. You seemed…eager, if he wasn’t mistaken, which only excited him more to know that you wanted this.
You wanted his cock to be your first time, not Sejanus’. You wanted him over the man you loved and planned to marry since you met him. You chose him to give yourself to, not Sejanus, and there were no words to describe how he felt as Sejanus finally nodded.
Coryo started off slow. First, he leaned in and his lips met yours in a delicate kiss, unlike him but he wanted to make sure that he didn’t scare you off.
He wanted make sure that you were comfortable so that you or Sejanus didn’t back out of this. He had gotten this far; manipulated Sejanus into thinking that this would the best, and Coryo would be damned if he didn’t see it though.
He would be damned if he didn’t get to feel you; to taste you and to take you. He’d be damned if you weren’t wrapped around his cock by the end of the night, so he went slow and he almost let you take the reigns.
It was an illusion, you having control, but you didn’t know that so you were able to control the kiss to your liking. At first, you remained hesitant as Sejuanus’ lips had been the only ones you’d ever tasted, but after a few seconds of being pressed against Coryo, you quickly began to let go.
It was almost too easy to get you to kiss back, your lips moving against his in a pace that surprised even him. Even though this is what he wanted, Coroy never thought that it would be something you’d crave as well.
He never thought that you’d have eyes for anyone other than Sejanus, but alas that wasn’t true as you allowed him to lay you back on the bed.
The pretty little skirt that Sejanus had told you to wear at Coryo’s suggestion, rode up ever so slightly and you gasped into the kiss as one of Snow’s hands came to trace your thigh.
His pale hand was cold, but not unpleasant as he creeped in and went higher and higher to your panties. You had never done this before, so you relinquished the control you thought you had and let him do his thing since obviously he knew more than you.
For a moment, you hated yourself for the jealousy you felt, imaging him doing this with someone else, but that quickly went away as Coryo finally reached your white panties and touched you in a way that made you gasp.
“Oh!”
“Shh,” Coryo pulled away from your lips and smirked as he looked down at your flustered expression, loving the way your (E/C) eyes widened and looked at him with utter lust.
God, it was so easy to make you come undone and Coroy was excited to continue to see how far he could push you. In the corner, you breifly saw your boyfriend take a seat in a nearby chair as Coryo reached in and lightly tugged on your panties.
They were soaked, as he expected, and you were a little embarrassed at how damp and hot you felt for him down there. Looking at Sejanus should’ve caused you some type of guilt, but it only turned you on more to see the pained expression on his face, his own lust shining through as he zipped down his pants.
He began to take his cock out just as your own sex was exposed, the cold air making you shiver. You watched with your chest heaving as Coriolanus pulled them off, stuffing the white material in his back pocket before spreading your legs.
“Is this okay pretty girl?” He asked softly, and a tenderness you’ve never seen before seeped out. Coryo looked genuinely concerned before he touched you, and you hated to say how much it made your heart flutter.
Quickly, you took a look at Sejanus and he nodded as he began to stroke himself. The sight made your mouth water, only making it easier to say yes to Coryo as you breathed out.
“Please,” You quietly begged him, and not even a second after that was Coriolanus complying with your wishes and using his long fingers to touch you for the first time. He stroked in between your folds and you moaned as Coriolanus panted, his own cock growing harder at your wetness.
He decided to take it further and touched you again, this time pressing his thumb against your clit which made you jolt. Gasping, sly blue eyes met yours and before you could even blink, you were experiencing a pleasure that you had never felt before.
Snow decided to keep his thumb on your clit, rubbing soft circles while his other fingers teased your hole.
You grew nervous as he slowly gathered your wetness and looked at you for permission to go ahead. In the corner, Sejanus waited with anticipation for your head to slowly nod, and then he watched you moaned, your back arching as Coriolanus started to fuck you with his fingers.
Like the kiss, he took it slow and only filled you with one finger to start you off. He knew that you were a virgin and he doubted that you had ever even used your own fingers. You couldn’t have, cause fuck you felt tight around him.
Coryo could barely fit one finger in, and he had no clue how you were going to take his cock but he was beyond excited to find out. He didn’t want to loosen you too much because he wanted to feel you and open you up on his cock, but he did want you to relax a little.
You were too tense, face scrunched up at the intrusion and your chest had started heaving. You grabbed his hand for some comfort but Coryo pulled away, shaking his head and nodding ever so slightly in Sejanus’ direction.
“I want you to hold his hand while I fuck you with my fingers,” Coryo leaned down to purr in your ear, and you shivered as he pumped his finger faster while waiting on you to make a move. You did, and shakily your hand reached out to clasp Sejanus’ who had no problem holding it.
He used one had to hold onto you, and the other was still stroking himself as he watched Coryo please you with his finger. He watched as you shivered and moaned, your back arching slightly when Coryo added one more or when he sped up.
You could hardly think as his long digits stroked something inside of you that made you want to scream. Coryo stroked a fire that you didn’t even know had been lighted, leaving you yearning for it to be quenched.
Despite yourself, you started to grind yourself against his fingers to try and chase that feeling faster. Between Coryo pumping his fingers in and out of you and playing with your clit, you started to get closer and close to something that nearly blinded you with pleasure. You didn’t know what it was, but Coryo did, and he smirked as he finally brought you to your first ever orgasm.
A sound like no other left your pretty lips, and Coryo was smug as he watched Sejanus and you experience it. He watched as your boyfriend pumped his cock faster at the sound of your moans, unable to control his own. Seeing Coryo bring you to pleasure must’ve fueled him, but if Sejanus took pleasure in that, then he’d really cum once he saw what Coriolanus was about to do to you.
Once you had come down from your high, your vision felt blurry and your body felt on cloud nine but somehow, you still felt Coryo’s lips on yours and you kissed him back.
On your end, it was passionate, your lips moving in sync as your mind numbly tried to recover.
Everything was hazy, but it felt so good that you couldn’t help but to succumb to the pleasure of it all and accidentally forget that Sejanus was holding your hand. In your mind, all you could feel was Coryo; his fingers, his lips, his cock as he unbuckled his pants and freed himself.
It was only him, and your mouth watered as he pulled away and you got a glimpse of his gorgeous cock.
It slapped against his stomach almost painfully, the tip red, angry and leaking with pre-cum. His cock showed his true emotions even if Coriolanus did not; showing you that he was just as excited and eager about this as you.
Out of nervousness, you couldn’t help but to comment, “I didn’t know that you were a natural brunette,” which made Coriolanus laugh despite himself.
“There’s a lot that you don’t know about me sweetling,” He told you mischievously, but before you could even think about what that meant, you were distracted as he laid down and positioned himself at your entrance.
Nerves pooled in the pit of your stomach and you gripped Sejanus’ hand tight as Coryo captivated your eyes. He didn’t kiss bother to lean down to kiss, as he wanted to watch your face from the moment he entered you. He wanted to see very emotion, watch every expression, so he made you were looking at him and only him as he hovered over you.
“Are you ready?” He asked one last time, and instinctively you nodded as his hand came up to stroke your hair.
“Yes,” You found yourself breathing out all of your nerves with one breath, and before you could change your mind, Coriolanus began to sink his cock into you. His hips guided themselves and he was lucky that he had your wetness to help him, because fuck you had the tightest cunt he had ever felt.
You sucked him in easily enough, just like you were made for him, but there was still some resistance which Coryo knew you felt as you whimpered.
Underneath him, tears kissed your eyes and you squeezed Sejanus’ hand as hard as you could, but that wasn’t enough to distract you from the pain that you felt. It felt like Coriolanus was splitting you in half with his cock, pushing past your barriers which was easy for him, but difficult on you.
You ended up having to rip your hand away from Sejanus and instinctively, you wrapped one hand around Snow’s back and the other flew down to your cunt to try and relive some of the pressure.
Coryo looked down at you disapprovingly as you tried to stop him, gently grabbing your hand and shaking his head.
“Move your hand pretty girl,” He demanded softly, and you hiccuped as your cunt struggled to take him. “I’m only gonna tell you this once.”
He wasn’t mean, but his tone was warning enough to make you pull away, allowing him to sink deeper while you cried softly. He was quick to wipe your tears away, taking in your scrunched up face and pretty lips. They were parted and making the most gorgeous sounds he had ever heard as he made sure to sink deeper and deeper.
Regardless if you could take him, Coryo was determined to make himself fit. Determined to be a perfect match for your cunt, so even though he wanted to protest, he allowed you to wrap your legs around him, and your arms, in order to hold him close. You wanted to feel him, to feel loved by him in the moment and you did.
At least, you thought you did.
Your faces pressed together, his lips kissing your forehead as he finally grabbed your fingers and laced them together. You thought it was a romantic gesture, but Coryo found it easier to move now that your arms weren’t around him.
He found it easier to distract you by telling you sweet nothings, poison dripping from his lips which you believed and you didn’t even realize what he was doing until it was too late.
Coryo got you right where he wanted you, and once you stopped resisting he took the chance to sink himself inside of you, filling you to the hilt while his moans masked your cries.
“That’s it sweetling. You take my cock so well, I knew you would,” He cooed as he kissed your cheeks, tasting the tears and enjoying them as you squeezed his hands. Not only that, your cunt squeezed him as well, fluttering in desperation at the unfamiliar intrusion.
Really it was your own fault for allowing him so deep, since you had been the one to wrap your legs around him and pull him closer. In your desperate attempt for his touch, you had ended up taking him all the way, and now Coriolanus finally got what he wanted as he began to fuck you.
The lewd sounds of his cock disappearing into your cunt filled the room, skin on skin making you both uncomfortable and turned on. The guilt you felt earlier about wanting Coryo returned, and you felt guilty that you were wet for him, so needy and desperate for his touch.
Breifly you wondered what Sejanus must think now that Coryo had fully claimed you, and when you turned your head to look at him, he had his eyes closed, his own moans spilling out.
Gently, Coryo grabbed your face and made you look at him.
“Focus on me, pretty girl. Only me. I’m the one that’s making you feel this good, yeah? I’m the one that’s claimed this little cunt. Not him,” The demanding tone was back, and you whimpered as his fingers tightened a little painfully. “Say it for me. Say that I own this cunt, and let him fucking hear it,” Coryo growled, fucking you faster as your nails raked down his back. It wasn’t hard enough to draw blood, but it was enough to make him hiss, laughing lightly at the pain. “Go on. I wanna hear you say it. Tell Sejanus that you belong to me.”
“I belong to you, Coryo,” You moaned out as loud as you could, not sure if your boyfriend could hear you but Coroy sure could.
“Louder,” He demanded as his hand moved to your throat.
Your eyes nearly rolled to the back of your head in pleasure as your breaths came out under his control. You felt more alive than you ever had before, completely immersed in a pleasure that was indescribable. The pain that you felt previously still lingered, but it was also mixed in with the pleasure of his cock hitting just the right spots over and over again.
Just like with his fingers, Coryo had found the fire inside of you and you didn’t care what you had to say or do to get to that peak again.
“I belong to you, Coryo! Only you,” You sobbed as soon he took his hands off your throat, feeling a little lightheaded but competent enough to lean up and try to kiss him. Coryo dodged your attempts smugly, liking the way your face fell for a second before grabbing you himself and kissing you roughly.
His tongue immediately made its way inside of your mouth, the kiss messy and desperate but you loved it. You loved the way he felt against you, the way he felt inside of you, pounding into your tight cunt. You liked that he didn’t treat you as delicate and just took what he wanted, claiming you for his own when your boyfriend didn’t have the guts to.
You could still hear Sejanus’ moans as you kissed Coriolanus passionately, leaning up slightly and letting him pull you closer for once.
He let go of your hands and surprisingly placed your arms around him, causing you to grip him tight as he moaned in your mouth. In return, he lifted you slightly and wrapped his own arms around you, holding you close so there was no separation between the two of you. None at all.
It was the most passion that he had showed you all night, and while you appreciated it, desperately taking what you could get, you also had a feeling as to why as you felt his cock twitch inside of you.
You didn’t know much about sex, but you did know that men came to their peak too and you suspected that Coryo was close.
The way he was starting to slow down, his thrusts becoming sloppy and his behavior becoming erratic, it was only a matter of time before all three of you came to your peak.
Sejanus was still watching you both, close to his high as he watched Coryo rock in and out of you. The sight of the two of you combined, kissing each other and holding one another like you and Coryo were a couple instead of you and him, made his heart pang.
It made his chest squeeze and his ego deflate as Snow pulled away, demanding that you tell him that you were his, that he owned your cunt in a way that Sejanus never would while looking right at him.
But that wasn’t even the worst blow.
The worst of it came when Snow leaned down, hiking up your shirt so that your tits were exposed to him. Your whole body was on display for him, being touched by only him, and when he was done taking your sensitive buds between his teeth Coryo had a final question.
“Where do you want me princess?” Coryo asked you gently, sweat dripping off his forehead as his hips connected with yours. He had a sneaking suspicion of what would end up happening anyways, but he needed to hear you say it for his own sake. He wanted to hear you say it, wanted it to come from your mouth so that Sejanus would know that this was what you wanted, not just him.
“Inside. I want you inside, please Coryo,” You begged him, and Coryo wanted to hear you say exactly that, so that Sejanus would know there was a reason he was breaking their one rule.
“Don’t finish inside of her, I at least want that experience to myself,” Sejanus had warned him, and now here he was, balls clenching and your cunt squeezing around him as Coryo moaned and finally spilled himself inside of you.
He made sure that he was buried to the hilt, made sure that Sejanus was watching as he delivered one last blow and took away that from him, too.
His thick seed shot out and coated your walls, and shortly after that the dam inside of you broke and soon you were creaming all over Coriolanus’ cock as well.
The sweet sounds you let out were something that he relished, something that sent Sejanus over the edge as he finally came. His groans mixed in with your own as his seed spilled onto his hand, while Coryo snapped his hips to fuck his cum back into you.
He didn’t want a single drop to be spilled, so for a few seconds he held your face, kissed you, brushed away the sweaty hair from your face, and then settled for holding your hand until he was sure that your cunt swallowed every last drop.
Only then did Coryo finally roll off of you, relinquishing your body to Sejanus’ open arms like before.
But, as he expected, when your boyfriend reached for you and asked if you were okay, your glazed over eyes could only hold Coryo’s gaze, only sought his approval and praise as you finally came down from your high.
“I’m fine, Sej,” You said quietly, looking at the spot where your arousal and blood wetted the sheets.
It was evidence of what just happened. Evidence that Coriolanus’ plan had worked. Because not only did he plan to be your first, he also planned to be your last.
Sejanus would no longer have your heart after this. After this, Coriolanus had no doubt that you would run to him eventually, begging to be with the man that was your first.
He could already see it in your eyes, feel it in the way you lingered around him instead of taking Sejanus’ outstretched hand.
A small smirk rose on his face as he thought smugly of what the aftermath would bring.
And today was just the start.

Y/N sat near the window, his processors off and a book on his lap. His attention was drawn to the snow falling outside and covering the ground in white, watching Damian walk Titus around the yard to experience the frozen water. Not like the giant dog hasn’t walked in snow before.
He pressed his forehead against the glass, feeling the freezing melted sand press against his skin and without a doubt making it red. His tan was slowly fading, which made him all the more depressed whenever he looked in the mirror, now resulting in him wearing long sleeves in the hopes that he wouldn’t have to see it fade faster. His finger running down the spine of his book over and over again, tracing over the embroidered words and his short fingernail picked at the strings.
Y/N pulled away from the window, before Damian could see him, and he set To Kill a Mockingbird down on the lamp table beside the small nook near the window. It was his secret little stowaway, one Y/N knows that if they wanted to, his family could find it easily. There is nowhere in this manor that is unable to be discovered by them. He thinks Alfred is helping in keeping this spot a secret. Assuring the bat family that Y/N is safe and there is no need to tear apart the library to look for him.
All the windows in the library are sealed besides three, and those have sensors on them. Even if they didn’t, Y/N wasn’t stupid. He knows that those trackers he had dug out from his body are back in him. There is one in his inner thigh, deep enough that if he were to take the same scalpel he used the first time, the chance of nicking his artery was a higher possibility than he felt was worth risking.
Sometimes, when he presses down on the soft skin, he could feel the cold metal sear his muscles and capillaries, reminding him of his captivity without the chains.
Y/N connected his external processors, and winced when the world began to make noise. There was the buzz of some lightbulbs the hummed in the air and the heater was making a thrumming noise. Before his ‘trip’ to the Dominican Republic, Y/N would have thought that this was quiet. He would have believed that this was almost silent and there was little chance of it becoming any more quiet.
Now it was just loud. Obnoxiously so.
Looking out the window once more, Y/N couldn’t help the turn of his eyebrows and the downturn in his lips. Even his safe place felt like a cage.
Walking out of the room, he zigzagged through the bookshelves and into the main room, where the large couches, the fireplace, and coffee table are. The fire was crackling and popping, the bright oranges, reds, and yellows casting a warm glow on the sofas.
“I was wondering when you’d come out.” Y/N didn’t even look at Tim, his gaze still on the flames and the burning embers of the fire. It matched  the heat that was beginning to burn in his chest whenever he was around any of them. It’s embarrassing, but it took Y/N a few days to realize what exactly it was he was feeling towards them.
Anger. Y/N was so, undeniably, pissed at all of them. It got to the point that he wouldn’t even eat with them. Alfred, the kind man he is, would bring his meals to his room and Y/N would eat there. Dick once tried to drag Y/N out of his room, but he got a solid kick to his leg and Y/N’s enraged voice screeching at him to get the hell out of his room.
Even Jason was receiving the cold shoulder. When he tried to read to Y/N, taking their usual spot and position, Y/N just scrunched his nose and moved. Ignoring his twin’s call and slamming his door hard and  loud enough that it made his processors ring.
Tim sighed, watching his brother stew and brew like a shaken pepsi bottle, ready to erupt with words that will stick to the skin. Y/N didn’t acknowledge him, his jaw clenching and nose scrunching, before he turned away and left the library. Tim stood up and followed him, jamming his foot in between the door and the door frame to stop Y/N from shutting him out.
“Go. Away.” Tim pushed into the door, and even though he and Y/N are about the same size, Tim is Red Robin. A vigilante used to put down villains twice his size and three times his weight. Y/N is just… Y/N. He muscled through, inviting himself within Y/N’s room which he took a scan of.
The window was closed, the bed was made, the desk clean, and the laptop locked. When he had gotten back, his laptop had been installed with monitoring software, allowing everyone access from the Batcomputer to see what Y/N was doing. His phone had been given the same thing, only the child settings were enabled. His bags, duffle, suitcases, backpacks, all of them had been taken and if he ever needed them then he would need to go to Bruce.
If Y/N had anything to say, he didn’t share it. When it was all explained to Y/N, he wasn’t even looking at them, or Bruce, and instead was staring out the window. Damian believed that the other didn't even listen to them, but the lack of questions proved he had heard them.
“We really need to talk, Y/N.”
“No, go away. I don’t want you in my room.” Tim sighed, watching Y/N seethe in front of him. He held firm, “I will leave, once we talk.” Y/N rolled his eyes, “About what? There is nothing to talk about.” Those raging E/C eyes followed Tim’s every move in his space, and if it were any other time, Tim would have been thrilled to have Y/N’s attention on him. Those eyes focused only on him.
Tim sat on the chair in front of Y/N’s desk, ignoring Y/N’s scandalized expression and instead taking in the desk. All of Y/N’s writing tools, journals, pens, and markers have been confiscated. Instead, he only had the iPad to write down his thoughts and notes for when school starts. An iPad that is monitored.
Y/N seemed to accept that Tim would not be leaving, but that didn’t mean he was happy about it. Scrunching his nose, he disconnected the processors, pulled them off of his head, and debated about chucking them at his brother. He tossed them on his bed. He saw Tim deflate from the corner of his vision, and when those E/C eyes filled with irritation and smugness met Tim’s blue eyes, Y/N couldn’t help the vindictive smirk that formed on his face.
‘Bruce wants you to keep those on.’
“What do you want, Tim? If you have nothing good to say then get out, I want to nap.” Tim nodded, adjusting himself so he had space to sign.
‘How long are you going to keep pouting?’ Y/N’s face scrunched and he stared at Tim in disbelief. Not in disbelief that he said that, but disbelief in that that was what he wanted to say at this point in time. He could feel a headache forming and the rage building in his chest to the back of his throat. The words scorching the sensitive skin and making him feel as if he was about to catch fire.
“I tell you to have something ‘good’ to say, and that’s what comes out of your mouth? Get out, Tim.” His brother stayed in the chair, and Y/N marched over and grabbed the collar of Tim’s shirt. Which, if he had a clearer mind, Y/N would have not done that. It only allowed for Tim to grab his wrist and maneuver them so that it was Y/N who was pinned.
Icy blue eyes stared into boiling E/C eyes. Tim sighed, releasing Y/N so he can sign, ‘It is getting out of control, Y/N. I can understand a month, but you are pushing three.’
“You can’t tell me how to feel or how long I can feel it.” Tim looked ready to throttle him, and Y/N hoped that Tim rolled his eyes enough that they got stuck like that.
‘Y/N, just what was so important about that shack that is keeping you acting like this?’ Y/N pushed Tim, startling his younger brother and if he was calmer, Y/N would also be startled. He’s never been a violent person, choosing to look away when things got bloody in a movie or show. However, the spike of rage and aggravation he felt towards Tim and the situation had made his body move before he could really process it.
He glared at Tim with a new rage, and now he had wished he had thrown those external processors as the so-called genius. He balled his fist, “It wasn’t the shack! It wasn’t the ocean, it wasn’t the country, for fucks sake Tim, it wasn’t even then whales!” Y/N reached across his desk and threw a copy of Alice in Wonderland at the other.
He ignored the annoyance when Tim caught it.
“It wasn’t any of that! It was what you all took away! It wasn’t the sun, it wasn’t the outside, it was the ability to make my own decisions!” Tears burned Y/N’s eyes and he wondered just how many nights he spent crying and wishing for a chance to escape.
“Why… why am I the only one who doesn’t have any say in how I want to live me life?” Tim set the book down on Y/N’s bed, and walked closer. Y/N stepped away, “Why am I the one who is held here like some kind of… prisoner when everyone else can go and–and do what they want?”
Tim’s heart broke, ‘No, no Y/N. You’re not a prisoner, we just want you safe and the safest place is here.’ Y/N gave him a look of exhaustion and disappointment, “What else is this then? Where else are people monitored to this extent?” Prison. Hell, Arkham doesn’t even have this level of monitoring and Gotham’ worst and craziest people were there.
Y/N knows that all of this is done out of some sick and twisted form of love, but if this was love then Y/N wanted no part of it.
“Y/N,” Tim winced. He didn’t feel bad about what they have done for Y/N, but he did feel bad that it was somewhat affecting Y/N like this. It wasn’t their intention for Y/N to feel trapped, but Y/N just doesn’t get it. The world is mean, cruel, and horrible to those who don’t fit in. Tim, Jason, Dick, Damian, Bruce, the entire Bat clan knows this because they are the ones out there and witnessing this.
They all know just how awful this world can be, so why would they not want to protect Y/N from it?
“Dinner is ready.” Tim’s attention snapped to the door, where Damian stood. Y/N’s attention also turned to Damian, and the boy softened under Y/N’s hurt gaze.
‘Alfred made your favorite.’ Y/N wanted to bury his head in his hands. He didn’t want to read this conversation anymore. Pursing his lips, Y/N plopped down on the edge of his bed and looked out the barred window.
“You say I am not a prisoner… then am I a pet?” He mumbled, his voice barely above a murmur. Damian moved further in the room, so Y/N can see his hands at least.
‘Of course not. You are our most prized person.’ Damian didn’t see Y/N as a person. It is cruel to admit and he had almost been choked-out by Jason when he said it out loud. Y/N, in Damian’ eyes, was the Wayne’s family most prized possession. Next to the Batcave, the library, the Barmobile, and even Wayne Enterprises, Y/N stood next to and in front of it all. They could not function without him.
Like every prized possession, like diamonds, sapphires, and jades, they wanted to protect him. They gave him the best care they could and the best security. The difference was that jewels don’t have opinions or a desire to roam the earth. Something Y/N did have, and Damian blames the books for that wanderlust. Specifically that Moby Dick book.
When Jason took it from Y/N, Damian had to stop himself from throwing it in the fire. It was a first edition, the cover and binding still the same from when the book was first published, and if he looked closely he could see the faint line where Y/N has traced the spine of the book numerous times. Damian knows there is only one person in this world Y/N hates, which is the Joker, and Damian does not want to be added to the list should anything happen to that book.
Still, it was tempting.
Damian has read the book, and the lesson was as obvious as an East Gothamite amidst the upper echelon of Gotham. Damian knows what Y/N’s ‘white whale’ is, and he can’t help but to wonder why Y/N can’t draw the same conclusions like everyone else did.
Just like the story, Y/N will drive himself crazy trying to obtain something that they will never allow. Diamonds, sapphires, and jades are always protected by glass cases and security systems. That is how Y/N should see this.
‘Your safety is the most important thing.’
“More than my happiness?” Damian and Tim stared at Y/N with the answer clear in their eyes, but Y/N wanted to see them say it. He wanted to see them admit that they did not care for his happiness as long as he was trapped within these thick walls and gilded windows.
‘You were happy before.’ Y/N sighed, “That is because it was an illusion.” E/C eyes, dull and lacking emotion, “Tell me Dami, how can I go back to that illusion when in the morning it is the sun’s reflections off the bars on the windows that wake me up? Or the feeling of those trackers in my body replacing the collar you all want to put around my neck?”

Bruce stared at the photo, taking in the smiles and the way those eyes used to shine. Y/N always had a great smile, full of his emotions and rarely ever fake. His eyes always the most expressive, and it is why Bruce found it easy to see when he was lying.
Granted, in Y/N’s defense, he’s never had a real reason to lie before. He was open with everyone about his thoughts, opinions, and desires. Bruce made it that way. Bruce swaddled him in the comfort that only he and the family could provide in order to make it so Y/N would always rely on them for that. He made it so Y/N would never have to lie, or feel the need too.
Then Y/N just had to get curious. Bruce doesn’t know who is to blame for this sudden defiance in Y/N, but he does put a lot of blame on those ocean documentaries. Even when he was young, Y/N always had a fascination for them. Watching them over and over again, reading the subtitles, memorizing them, so now he can just watch the documentaries while already knowing what is going on.
His attention turned to the photo he had bought from that photographer in the Dominican Republic. Y/N was freediving and looking like he was in his element.
Bruce didn’t feel bad for taking Y/N back, but he did feel bad about cutting a hobby short. There was denying that Y/N was a natural at this sport, and Bruce had always wanted to encourage each of his kids’ interest.
But not this one. Not one that meant Y/N had to live far from them and was dangerous. At least with vigilantism, Batman was there in case anything turned south. There was no one in the water for Y/N in case something happened. Free diving is dangerous, and the ocean is unpredictable. Bruce can’t help Y/N if he goes free diving, especially if he goes alone.
Sighing, Bruce rubbed his forehead and checked the surveillance cameras one more time. Y/N and Dick were in one of the study rooms. From what it looks like, Dick is trying to talk to Y/N who was standing next to the windows, looking away from the other.
Perhaps, it’s about time Bruce steps in. Y/N hasn’t talked to him since the day Bruce grounded him, about two months ago and the other has done a great job in staying out of Bruce’s radar. The only time Bruce has seen Y/N in person is when he goes into Y/N's room at night after patrol to make sure that he is still there. A new fear unlocked that one night, when everyone is out and Alfred is asleep, Y/N will disappear once more.
No one knows how Y/N got out that one night, and no matter how many questions were asked, Y/N never said anything. Damian had tried bargaining with him, telling him that if Y/N told them how he got out then some days of his grounding would be taken off. Y/N huffed, a bitter smile taking over his face.
Bruce rose from his desk, shutting down his computer and leaving his own study. It is about time he and his son have a conversation. One sided or not.
He walked over to the study room that Dick and Y/N were in. Halting before the door and listening to the voices coming from inside.
“Y/N, I am telling you that no one is going to believe you after the stunt you pulled.”
“But you will be with me. Dick, I just want to go to the beach. We did it all the time.”
“Mmm, and look how that ended up.”
“Me being happy for a few months.”
“You’re still on that, Y/N?” Bruce opened the heavy doors, silencing the conversation and causing two sets of eyes to land on him. Dick was leaning against the desk, and Y/N had his back to the window. Both of their faces showed their surprise and confusion, until E/C eyes flickered to the ceiling and the corners of the room where he saw the cameras. Confusion became annoyance, rolling his eyes and turning back towards the window.
Dick and Bruce made eye contact, and when Bruce nodded his head towards the door Dick didn’t fight it. He took the hint and walked out, sparing Y/N and Bruce one last look before shutting the large oak doors.
Y/N refused to look at him. Bruce walked closer, behind the desk and next to Y/N, standing next to the window.
“Y/N.” His son moved to pull out his external processors, but Bruce grabbed his wrists within his large hands, effectively stopping his son. Bruce set his jaw, “None of that, we need to talk.”
“I don’t want to talk to you.”
“Then listen.” Y/N scrunched his nose and furrowed his brows, glaring at Bruce. The older man sighed, but held his grip on those thin wrists, noting that Y/N had stopped tugging his arms and was in fact waiting for Bruce to start talking, “I understand that you are upset, and that you are upset at us for meddling.” Y/N raised an eyebrow, his face slowly smoothening out and his lips no longer in a pout.
Bruce sighed, releasing one of Y/N’s wrists to push aside his bangs. Gently brushing his son’s forehead and pushing the rest of the strand behind his ear, minding the processing unit resting behind Y/N’s ear.
“And I know you’re aware that if you had asked, we would have said no.” Y/N’s lips pouted once more and his eyes became a little downcast. Sadness blanketing over him and Bruce felt a bit bad for revealing that, but Y/N knows it already.
“Y/N, why are you insistent on wanting to be independent? There are millions of people in this world who still wish for their parent’s support, and thousands of people who would give up everything to have a life and opportunities that you have.” Y/N scrunched his nose, feeling guilt curl in his chest.
He knows that he is lucky. Y/N is aware of how fortunate he is to have all that he has and then some. He knows that there are people in this world who would kill to have what he has.
Yet, just like there are millions of people who want what he has, there are also millions of people who strive for their independence against their family. Millions of people who take pleasure in making choices that affect only them. Millions of people who don’t let their disabilities define their life, and learn to accept and live with them.
“I am aware that I am fortunate, that my deafness has only been a part of my life instead of completely defining it,” Y/N acknowledged, turning his attention back to outside where it was beginning to snow. He ignored his reflection, not wanting to look at the weak person in front of him.
“I am grateful for all you have done, along with Alfred and everyone else. No amount of ‘thank you’s’ will ever be enough. But Bruce–” Y/N turned his eyes once more to Bruce, E/C eyes meeting ocean blue, “– No amount of money or gadgets is going to deny the fact that I am deaf.
“I am reliant on you all for a lot of things, and you raised me that way so that I can forever depend on you. Which… I know it wouldn't bother some people but it bothers me.” Y/N’s eyes shined with unshed tears, as if the very thought of having to rely on them was shameful.
“I am not fragile, nor am I glass. I am from East Gotham, just like Jason.” Bruce is aware of that. Like every East Gothamite, the both of them had the stubbornness that made Bruce question if he had a lineage that tied him back to that part of town. Y/N is strong in his own ways, and stubborn in others. Bruce will agree on that. He will agree that Jason and Y/N are more like brothers than those Bruce has seen when blood related.
However, Jason and Y/N are not the same. They were different pieces cut from the same cloth. Jason was shaped and molded to withstand the toughest and dangerous situations, to be durable and take a beating.
Y/N was not molded like that. Y/N was refined and polished to be treated gently and kindly, to only know the kindest hands and gentlest of uses.
“And I know that compared to the rest of you, I am weaker. I… I am not strong like you or Jason, I am not fast like Damian, nor am I as smart as Tim, or charismatic like Dick.” Bruce’s grip tightened on the one wrist he was still holding, wanting to deny everything Y/N had said because he hated hearing Y/N self-deprecating himself like that. Y/N is kinder than any of them, easier to talk to, and has almost the same amount of medical knowledge that Alfred has.
Y/N is the normalcy they all crave for when they come back from a patrol or mission. He reminds them in the gentlest ways that they are human. They are not just vigilantes, not another person hiding behind a cowl, a cape, or a domino mask. He reminds them that they are brothers, friends, allies, a father (in Bruce’s case).
“But just because of that, do you really have to control every part of my life? I wish you had more faith in me to let me go and learn to be strong on my own, just like you do with everyone else.” Y/N stared up at Bruce with a hurt expression, E/C eyes staring into Bruce’s blue eyes through those lashes that normally would be able to grant Y/N anything he wished. A simple bat of those lashes and eyes would have everyone running around trying to do as he wished.
“Y/N–”
“If you can’t trust me, at least trust yourself that you taught me well enough to be by myself.” But the thing is, is that Bruce doesn’t trust himself. He’s failed so many times and he fears that this one failure will be the one that breaks him. It’ll break the boys, the girls, Alfred, him. It’ll break everyone.
Y/N doesn’t realize it, and Bruce wonders if it is because he doesn’t want to get it or he just doesn’t. He wonders if Y/N chooses not to see his importance in this family so the burden doesn’t feel as heavy. If anything should happen to Y/N, Bruce can’t guarantee the safety of Gotham anymore. He couldn’t guarantee the safety of his Robins, past and current. If Bruce couldn’t protect literally the easiest person to protect, then who was he to try and protect a city?
Y/N, sensing Bruce’s hesitation and unease, tried to withdraw his hand from Bruce’s grip and shrug off the hand that was resting on his cheek. His hopes and wants crashing onto the carpeted floor, replacing his chest with anger and disappointment. He's been feeling those two emotions a lot lately. They are carving its way in his chest like it is their new home, and he wonders if it will be. Will he hold onto these feelings for the rest of his life as he stares out these large windows and reminisces what the sun felt like on his skin and the breeze through his hair. Does the biting cold still turn his nose and cheeks red, and does the heat and humid summers still make his freckles pop and skin gleam?
“...Forget it. I… it was stupid to ask that of you.” The raging inferno of anger died, filling his chest with the smoke of its fury and his stomach warm with the dying embers. A new emotion, one he is intimately familiar with, filled him instead. It is one he knows like the back of his hand, an emotion that is more of his identity than his deafness.
Sadness.
It is like a steady stream, filling the smoking cavity in his chest with cold water, putting out the embers and making that smoke turn to steam. Burning his muscles and organs with a painful sting, and filling his person with ice cold water instead of the burning fire. Y/N knows sadness. He knows the emotion well and sometimes it reminds him of a scar. Never truly gone, just sometimes forgotten. It sits at the back of the mind, hiding behind the good times, the happy emotions, until it is accidentally hit and it draws your attention. From there, it is no longer at the back of your mind, but all you can think about.
Sadness, to Y/N, is like a scar that has marred its way across his face. Never forgotten and for the whole world to see, unless makeup and a smile is put on it.
Y/N, in the basicness of emotions, is sad. He is hurt, upset, exhausted, and sad.
“Leave me alone, Bruce.” Bruce’s grip tightened once more, and his jaw clenched. He’s finally got Y/N within his vicinity to talk, like hell he’s letting go. Y/N narrowed his eyes and pulled his arm, “Let go, Bruce.”
He pulled again, “Bruce.” The man’s iron grip never waivered, and Y/N felt the air in his lungs begin to escape quicker than it could fill the organs. He brought his other hand up to try and peel those thick fingers off his wrist, but Bruce grabbed his other hand.
“I still don’t understand why you would want to leave.” Y/N scrunched his nose, “If you can’t understand, even after I spelled it out for you, then maybe you should stop being a detective.” Bruce didn’t feel insulted or slighted at Y/N’s words, chalking it up to Y/N being upset still.
“How can I make you want to stay here?” Y/N sighed, and Bruce could feel that fight leaving his son’s body. The tension in his arms disappeared.
“How can I know that it is here that I am meant to be, when I haven’t been anywhere else?” Bruce opened his mouth, to which Y/N effectively cut him off, “East Gotham doesn’t count, and the Dominican Republic would have counted if you all hadn’t kidnapped me.”
“We didn’t kidnap you.” Y/N gawked at him, and the fight returned, “You did kidnap me! Do you need a dictionary definition of what kidnapping is?! It is the unlawful abduction, aspiration and confinement of a person against their will!”
“You. Live. Here.” Bruce gritted out and Y/N’s jaw clenched, “Well I don’t WANT to be here!” He snarled and tried once more to loosen Bruce’s grip on his wrists.
“What is it with all of you NOT comprehending that?! No matter how you look at it, no matter what angle you try to take this from, Bruce. I am a prisoner within this manor!” Y/N glared at Bruce, “Just what did I do that warranted the surveilance, the trackers, the stupid god for fucking sake imaginary collar you all want me to have on?!”
Bruce growled out, “You left when you are only meant to stay here. It is the consequences of your actions.”
“I am not your property!” Y/N snarled, “ Nor am I a pet that you can keep chained and trapped in the house!” Bruce felt something snap within him and he released Y/N’s wrist and watched the other stumble from the sudden loss of support.
Y/N righted himself, still glaring at the man. Bruce took a deep breath, “Fine.”
“Huh?”
“You want to try your luck out there, then go. I will give you an hour's head start.” Y/N stared at Bruce in suspicion, “What are you getting at?” Bruce made a show of adjusting his watch, “I will give you an hour, only one. If you can outrun us, out maneuver us, or outsmart us until sunrise, you can choose how your future plays out.”
“‘Us?’” Bruce smiled, “All of us.” Y/N wanted to bite out a ‘not fair’ comment, but found a more pressing matter, “What about the trackers?” Bruce fished out his phone, and made a dramatic show of pressing some buttons, he then showed Y/N what appeared to be a small map, like a GPS, on his phone.
“Turned off.” Y/N ignored the feeling of disgust seeing that his location was literally on their phones.
“Start running Y/N, your hour has already started.” Y/N bolted out the study room, not looking back.
Bruce stayed in the room, looking out the window as the sun began to set and the snow turned dark. Light footsteps entered the room, and Bruce could basically hear the eyebrow raise, “Not now Alfred, save it for when Y/N comes back.”
The old butler humphed, “He’s always gotten sick when playing in the snow.” Bruce hummed, “Then I guess we better make this quick.”
“Are you sure an hour was a good idea? He did sneak out of the manor before.” Ocean blue eyes filled with mirth, and he tapped his ears, “If Y/N wants to know what it’s like to be deaf, then he’ll play this game deaf. It’ll teach him how lucky he is to have his hearing.” Alfred’s eyes widened, “They turn off without his knowledge.”
“Once he reaches a certain distance, they do, and he can’t turn them back on. Only I have the power to do that.”
In the hall, suited up and waiting in the shadows, were the rest of this crooked family. Waiting for his orders, “Give him an hour, then find him.”
++++
Y/N knows this is a losing game. He knows that this game is set for his failure, and he knows that once this game is over, he will most likely never be able to set foot outside again. Not without a babysitter.
When he external processors cut out, he knows what angle Bruce is playing out and he knows that his chances of making it to sunrise have become nearly 0%. He may not be as smart as Tim or anyone else in his family, but if you live with geniuses you learn how to read between the lines.
He somehow managed to flag down a taxi before telling them where to go. Not missing the slight judgment cross their face and Y/N wonders if they know he cannot hear them. Y/N wonders if they know he is being chased and he essentially is just digging a bigger and deeper hole for himself. The bars will get thicker and the chain will be heavier, but if that is the outcome of this, then Y/N believes that this will be worth it.
He clutched the bag closer.
When he arrives at the station, he knows his hour is up and he knows that Barbara is watching him through the cameras. She is watching him buy his ticket, and is retelling everything to his siblings. He knows this because in front of him is Nightwing, drawing a crowd and making everyone look around for the villain.
‘Going somewhere?’
‘Only temporarily.’
‘Temporarily is too long Y/N, let's go back home. Alfred has a peach cobbler ready.’ Nightwing held his hand out as if Y/N would actually take it. Which is fine, because Y/N knows through the giant circular mirror hanging from the ceiling, that Spoiler and Red Robin are behind him.
Y/N stared at the hand once more, and he wondered if this is what it feels like to know the path you should take and still choose the other one. Taking a deep breath, Y/N said the one word that would get everyone running. It would have people scrambling and trying to seek cover and get out of a place that made everyone have a close vicinity to each other.
“Joker!” Like someone shouting fire, the world was set into motion and Y/N watched as his view got obstructed by the rush of people. He disappeared within the crowds, dodging idle hands and ducking into the crowd. He may not be able to hear, but he can feel the panic that everyone else was feeling. Y/N saw parents pick their kids up, lovers grabbing each other’s hands, and strangers pushing and shoving other strangers.
He rushed down the escalator, towards the Amtrak that had his destination written all over it. Y/N didn’t have to turn around to know that it was Nightwing right behind him. He can feel the heavy and frantic gaze and if he could hear, without a doubt his name would be filling the air.
His heart picked up at the sight of the doors closing, and through some luck, he squeezed in at the last minute. The metal shutting behind him, and large latex covered hands slammed into the glass. Dick’s frantic face stared at him, and Y/N couldn’t stop the smile from creeping on his face.
How it must feel for the rabbit to slip through the Hunter’s fingers.
When the train began moving, Y/N wiggled his fingers in a mockery of a goodbye. He now sees why Jason loves teasing Dick. Dick’s angry expression really does tickle a sore spot in Y/N. Choosing a spot near the windows, Y/N prepared himself for the 10 hours train ride. The sun will not be rising when he gets there, but he never expected to make it to sunrise. Peering into the duffle bag next to him, Y/N gave a bitter smile and turned his attention back to the passing sight of Gotham city.
In the Batcave, everyone was pacing and figuring out the best way to do this.
“Are you sure that is where he is going?”
“For the last time, I saw his ticket, yes. He is going there!” Jason winced at Barbara’s raised voice and he grit his teeth in irritation. He massaged his temples, “Why North Carolina? What is even there?”
“The beaches.”
“No shit you little spawn, but which one.” Nightwing didn’t bother reproaching his brother, and instead tightened his fist. He was so close to grabbing his brother. So close.
The very knowledge that his little brother had barely escaped him stoked two different emotions in him. Pride in knowing that his brother was fast, fast enough to get away from him, and irritation because he did slip through Nightwing’s fingers. Batman didn’t seem bothered.
In fact he looked awfully relaxed for someone whose son had just hopped on a train to North Carolina. Nightwing glared at him, “You know where he’s going.” Batman shrugged, “An idea.”
“Where?”
“Y/N took his freediving gear, and there’s only one beach in North Carolina that is worth freediving.”
++++
Y/N felt the water encompass him, hugging his limbs and freeing him of gravity. The light attached to his forehead illuminates the sea and sees marine life at night. The train ride had been long and restless, but he did manage to at least sleep for 4 hours, before his nerves woke him up once more.
It was still dark, but at 4 am in the morning, it would be stupid to assume there would be any light. Navigating to the pier at Wrightsville Beach had been difficult, constantly looking over his shoulders to make sure he wasn’t being followed. Then there was the actual jumping off of the pier that if anyone saw would have the cops racing over.
Finally though, he was here. Swimming in the water and just letting himself be. It was a poor replication of freedom, but if this will be all he is allowed he’ll take it. Who knows how long it'll be before he could do something like this. Y/N isn’t stupid. He knows that Bruce knows where he is at.
He knows his siblings are on their way over. Probably letting him get off the Amtrak first before jumping in the Batplane, or maybe even the Batboat. Y/N surfaced, and took a deep breath before diving below the surface once more.
God, this was all a terrible joke but here it was happening. Y/N could have never imagined his family doing this. When he was younger, he chalked up Bruce’s need to constantly check on him as anxiety because it was the first time the man had a completely normal person in the house. Jason had always been touchy, and then Dick came along who would ruffle their hair. Tim would hold his forearm and Damian would follow him where he went.
It wasn’t weird at all. That was Y/N’s normal, until he went to college and started making friends. Friends who were mature enough to see past his lack of hearing and shared their own sibling experiences.
Experiences that didn’t match Y/N’s.
His little trip outside the country only proved it, and Y/N wondered if it was a bad thing he decided to do in person classes instead of online. If he did online, he would live in the fantasy that his family was normal and they loved him as a person. No red flags would be waving because Y/N wouldn’t even know they are flags.
He felt the water around him begin to vibrate and from the way the fish started spazzing out, Y/N knew his time was limited. How funny it would be if he never rose to the surface again.
Sinking a bit further, he looked towards the surface and watched as the water distorted and ripples began to form, each one acting as a timer. Closing his eyes, he held his breath as long as he could, until his lungs began to ache. Lightheadedness caused him to almost inhale water.
Rising to the surface, he could see the ominous black shape and the people looking over the edge. Here he was swimming back to his captors’ arms. Like a mouse headed for the trap. A fish into a net.
Y/N has never hated himself more then when he took that breath of air and met the sight of cowled Batman, and masked Robin and former Robins.
‘Ready?’
“Even if I wasn’t you’d still take me.”
‘You lost Y/N, get out of the water.’ He accepted the ladder thrown down to him, and as soon as he was within arm distance, Red Hood and Red Robin hoisted him over the edge of the boat and it was Robin handing him a towel. Taking off his snorkel and flippers, Y/N let himself be guided to the inside, where an unmasked Dick sat at one of the tables with two cups of coffee. Red Hood pushed Y/N into the seat, squishing his body against the window as he laid his giant self on him. Sighing in relief and going limp.
Y/N didn’t mind. From his seat, he watched the sunrays begin to slowly peak over the horizon. The warm glow gently illuminating the darkness, the sun not in sight yet but it’s very beginnings making itself known. Y/N wonders if one day, he can fall into the illusion of once more having a choice in his decisions. That there will be multiple paths in front of him instead of just one.
A large hand patted his head, and Y/N felt disgusted that he welcomed it. Back to normalcy. He has to go back to normalcy. If he didn’t, Y/N really does believe he will go crazy. His fate has been chosen from the start, and he knows that there is little chance of changing it. He knows that all of this comes from a sick and twisted form of love, and Y/N wonders if this is the type of love he has always been destined for.
The worst part is if given the choice to start over, Y/N wouldn’t stop himself from meeting Jason. He wouldn’t stop Jason from stealing the Batmobile tires, and he wouldn’t stop Jason from being Robin. He would try and stop Jason from dying, but he wouldn’t stop Tim from being Robin, or anything really. Y/N loves Jason, he loves his family, he loves their flaws and vices, even if it means letting go of somethings. His desire to be on his own was temporary anyways, only a few years and he would come back.
It was never good to have a ‘white whale.’ That is what Moby Dick taught everyone who read it.
If freedom was his white whale, then his family are the whalers. Killing it and completely destroying anything that made him want to chase it.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Honestly.... I'm not to sure about the ending.

Hey, i read the “Bat-boys finding out your pregnant” and may i ask for more? It was sooo cute that i need more of it 😭💕
The Batboys fathers HCs
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
A/N: this request is long overdue that I’m sure the requester doesn’t even remember it, but I’ve arrived at last. I hope this is what they wanted. The Absolute Power run has restored my love for Nightwing and comics. ❣️
Dick Grayson is a fun dad. At first, Dick suffocated beneath the weight of fatherly duties. He wanted to be better than Bruce. Dick loved him, but he could admit that his boyhood wasn’t a salubrious environment for the young mind. No child should have to carry the weight of Bruce’s mission. Thus, Dick’s mission became ensuring yours and the baby’s lives were secure, safe, and joyous.
Pale beams of sunlight kissed your cheeks good morning. The aroma of maple syrup wafted throughout the house, tickling your nostrils as you carried yourself down the stair steps, footfall by footfall. There Dick stood at the stove, scooting the black spatula beneath a golden pancake and flipping it into the air, causing your baby to burst out into a fit of giggles before the pancake hit the skillet with a sizzle. He was proud of himself for making his baby laugh.
“Well, well, look at mama.” A grin crept across his lips as he spotted you creeping closer, supernovas bursting in his electric blue irises.” You were snoring in a pool of drool when I awoke, so I grabbed the baby and started breakfast.” Vibrant seas of pacifiers, rattles, and toy pianos adorned the house.
Dick attempted to rush the developmental process. Not out of callousness, but sheer excitement to have a child. He had already stocked the baby in dolls, trucks, pacifiers, fruit snacks, apple juice (watered down, of course). He even installed a nightlight that short circuited the house at first, but Bruce helped him fix it. Reading is good for the baby right? Dick is on it. He’s already ordered the best and most classic tales; Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Alice in Wonderland, Dr. Seuss, Little Red Riding Hood.
Dick Grayson has read multiple novels on fatherhood, motherhood, child development, postpartum depression. He hates surprises, and babies are the breeding ground of surprises. He will pack the go-bag full of onesies, pacifiers, diapers, wipes, toys because he doesn’t want you to be in public and not have the materials.
“Give me a few days to install the new changing table. You’ll love it.” Crimson blush adorned his tanned cheeks, a proud grin dawning on his lips, showcasing his pearlescent teeth.” It broke when I weight checked it, thank god. Damian, albeit reluctantly, is coming out here tomorrow to translate the instructions.”
Jason Todd is the protective, paranoid father because he’d placed a bullet in the worst humanity had to offer, witnessed otherworldly horrors done to the little guys, the folks who lack billions of dollars to hole up on secluded islands and cabins. He can’t eradicate all the scum, can’t caulk the fractures villains seem to keep slipping through—and that terrifies him.
Jason never imagined a life worth living to be possible. He’d thought himself a sentient zombie, an unlucky boy yanked from the eternal peace of a cold, soundless grave and forced to enact vengeance on behalf of the common folk who lack the means to undertake the mission themselves. He never considered Red Hood to be a hero; merely a restless phantom with nothing else to bide his time until the sweet release of the afterlife deigned to shatter his manacles to the mortal world. That was until he’d fallen over the sun, offering endless devotion to his goddess, and you’d rewarded his offering with a daughter, a lovely girl. He’d abduct the moon and wrap it in a silken bow if only you’d give him permission.
“Catch, papa,” your daughter had called out, retrieving the little football and sprinting toward him, tiny feet carrying her over the damp and verdant grass of y’all’s backyard. Jason never brought the both of you to parks—an excess of people to watch, different personalities and behaviors; a myriad of possibilities for tragedy. Too much room for error in a vast, leafy expanse.
“You’ve gotta bring it to me first,” Jason called back, outstretching his muscular arms, awaiting her arrival. He was paranoid and distrustful of the world, not a killjoy. Y’all’s daughter’s bedroom was littered with vivid nail polishes, fluffy scarves, glittering tiaras, and Monster High dolls. Your daughter had always adored Frankie Stein and Frankenstein because they reminded her of Jason and herself, the dolls and humans both sharing pale white streaks of hair. He hadn’t known whether to laugh or weep upon hearing those words from her lips, innocent and completely unaware of the accuracies spanning far past hair color.
“Jason, I love you, but we are not cooping ourselves up in the house this summer.” The words were firm and unyielding—but lacking any true bite.
“ I’ve given you grace. I let a lot slide because I understand your background. But we’re just not doing it this summer. Its too hot to not go to waterparks and enjoy ourselves because of possibilities.” A damn good point rested upon your tongue, and he knew it.
“Fine.” He relented with a jocosely petulant huff.” But we take a gun with us.”
Tim Drake is an ambitious father. It’s been said before, but I don’t believe he’s as active as the fandom would believe. Though, his absence isn’t born of malice or indifference, but ambition, a thirst for a legacy. He wants to be a man his significant other and child can be proud of, a father worth bragging about. There’s also a large chamber seated within his mind that knows not how to be a father, for his parents were cold, choosing to throw dollars at his gripes and needs rather than be present.
One of his greatest fears is disappointing the both of you, like he was disappointed by his own parents, so disappointed he couldn’t even despise them. Tragically, the mission to avoid history’s repetition had placed him before a mirror, his parents gazing back at him, a smug smirk curled on their lips because they know that he’ll be on their end of the glass within a few decades.
Can he be blamed? Tim wants the absolute best for his family. The best grades, the best schools, the best scores, the best scholarships. He’s not naïve enough like Dick to believe hard work and persevere can lift a nobody anywhere. There are no bootstraps to be pulled taut. It’s an illusion, a sauce wealthy people spoon over their meals to disguise the taste of nepotism and privilege. Manipulations the rich regurgitate to excuse themselves from having to acknowledge the unfair, biased system they’ve upheld.
The door to his limousine slammed closed, his child seated beside but, but farther than ever. What could be said? Jerking forward, the limousine rolled into drive, coasting beneath autumn streaked clouds, as though her father had gifted her the sky from a florist. Bruce hadn’t prepared Tim for the teenaged terror years. He couldn’t help but wonder if he himself had been this capricious and fickle as a teen, or if he were merely that bad of a father.
“Do. . . do you want a Milkshake? From that one place by the house, like we used to when you were young.” Tim couldn’t help but raise a hopeful raven shaded brow. He could smell the stench of sweat, an anxious perspiration, cleaving to your school uniform. It must’ve been a test day.” I’ll clear the rest of my schedule for us. . . if you want, of course.” He extended an olive branch, granting her the choice to engage and accept, or set the course for the rest her teenage years.
Damian Wayne does not want children. He doesn’t know how far his taint would bleed, and all he can envision are the ways he could disgrace the mind of a child. His village was rotten and evil. Bad fruits bear worse seeds.
Damian’s devotion was love, the purest kind he knew, a primal desire to protect and cherish that of which he adored. You forged suns in his heart, set the butterflies in his belly aflutter. Beneath a weeping of sheet of violet sky, the both of you had sworn to love the other until Earth imploded—and when it did, he would find you in another universe.
He doesn’t hate children. In fact, he would be a decent babysitter for Dick and Jason, and whenever Tim deigned to grace the BatCave with his presence. But, Damian is staunch in his childfree attitude, and you respect it. Truthfully, you weren’t even sure you wanted kids. No, you and Damian battled crime, traveled the world and experienced culture, learned histories outside of the filth pumped into his mind by the Al Ghuls. Bruce was saddened by Damian’s decision against children, but he ultimately respected it—and him.
Damian knew he was poisoned and rotten and always would be, no matter what emblem was sewn over his breast. He was content with the life the both of you had, and knowing Dick, many more children are to come, so he’d never get lonely.” Beloved, what do you make of Italy? Not the tourist parts where the history is washed, but the ripe lands.”
Bruce Wayne is a weary father. He knew the birth of his youngest child was redemption, his last chance at preserving the Wayne name since Damian had sworn off children. But Bruce was aged, hardened, jaded, weary. He had scars to last a lifetime, some worn on his heart, though majority were worn on his skin.
The Wayne brownstone was eerily silent since Alfred’s death. Bruce’s son sat around the oaken table, coloring a picture of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Alfred. Bruce’s heavy lids fell over exhausted, dim blue irises, his brain flitting back to the memories of Alfred, gathered at the stove and learning a recipe. I am. . . old, Master Bruce. My time on this earth is not infinite. You must learn more than the ways of fists, the words echoed in his mind. Reminding him that old age wasn’t even the murderer of Alfred Pennyworth.
He fetched an inhale before pulling himself off of the couch, and padding over toward his son at the dinner table.” What’s that? Oh, a pretty picture. A real artistic talent, like Damian.” Bruce was unsure of his fathering more often than not. He knew how it appeared to his son’s school counselors and the principal—old, washed up playboy Bruce Wayne saddled with another young son. That was far from the case, but the masses will believe anything when they’re given nothing.
Bruce fetched a pot and skillet from the creaking cabinets of the brownstone, far from the elegance and cleanliness of the manor. Alfred would’ve been mortified to see the mess, he almost chuckled, but withheld it. Lest his son raise a question, for the explanation would be too complicated and long-winded for his young mind.” So, what do you see for dinner tonight? What makes that belly growl like a lion? Mac and Cheese? Lasagna? Hamburger Helper?”
Bruce knew exactly what his son would choose. Asking was merely a courtesy. Bruce knew him, raised the boy from the minute he was weaned. He knew what his son would do before his son knew what he himself would do. The Batman wasn’t a slacker, wasn’t lazy.

The King and the Assassin
Damian blearily blinked at the stone that tilted and shifted beneath his body, spattered with his blood and leaking out towards the edges of the summoning circle. He had been hit in the head. It throbbed. He was dizzy, even laying on his side on the floor and not moving. His limbs had been bound and he couldn’t raise his hands to hold his head until it stopped spinning. Or, and probably more practically, staunch the bleeding in his stomach. His grandfather chanted some language Damian didn’t know, which was impressive. Damian knew many languages.
Ra’s volume grew and the circle burst into a wall of green flames and glinted eerily on Damian’s blood in the cave's dim lighting.
Damian’s heart should be faster. He was frightened. Frightened what his grandfather would do with whatever came through the summoning circle, frightened of death, though he’d never admit it, and he was bleeding out. He’d lost so much blood. It was probably better that his heart wasn’t beating faster.
He was going to die. Would his father refrain from killing Damian’s killer, like he’d refused to kill Todd’s? Damian had known it was a sore spot between the two, and it was quite enraging from this new perspective. Depressing.
Maybe one of Damian’s siblings would avenge him. Perhaps Grayson.
The flames surged higher and the temperature plummeted. Damian shivered, though that could be the blood loss. His grandfather stopped chanting as deafening cracks like two glaciers ramming into each other boomed and echoed across the cave. Static was slipped into the cacophony between the screeching crashing and just as suddenly as it started, it stopped.
The noise was gone, the flames sputtered out, and Ra’s stared in awe at something Damian couldn’t see. Stone pressed into the side of his face and the world was lilted sideways. But he could feel it. The presence of overwhelming power radiating somewhere above him that covered him in goosebumps and took his breath away. The strength was formidable. It was suffocating.
“Really? Another one?” The being’s displeased grumble resonated in the air and layered as if many spoke at once. Damian breathed deeply.
He was going to die soon. There was no point in being scared of whatever this thing was.
“Your Majesty,” Ra’s started. “I am Ra’s Al Gh—“
“I don’t care.”
His grandfather’s face twitched and his jaw clamped shut with irritation written along the tension in his muscles.
If Damian were in a better state he might have snorted. No, perhaps he would have just stared as he was doing now. No one interrupted Ra’s, Demon Head of the League of Assassins, and if they did, they wouldn’t live much longer. But his grandfather remained silent in the face of this being.
That did not bode well.
“Who is this?”
Damian’s heart stuttered as feet armoured in sharp, glassy ice, came into his vision. They landed delicately in front of him as if gravity was an option.
Okay, now he was scared again. If Grandfather was wary of this being, Damian didn’t want it’s attention.
Damian was a vigilante, he was an ex-assassin, he’d faced many terrible things, he didn’t get scared. This was ridiculous.
“My grandson. Damian Al Ghul.”
The being crouched down and Damian was met with glowing, green eyes that swept him up and down.
Damian didn't like this at all. He’d feel much better facing this creature’s evaluating gaze, standing, unbound, and uninjured. This sensation was quite unsettling. Damian’s eyes grew hazier by the second and he tried his best to study the being in turn.
It had snow-white hair and pointed ears. It’s tanned face was dashed with freckles and wore black ice for chest armour. White ice, similar to it's boots, protected it's hands. It looked young. No older than Damian himself. Perhaps a year or two younger.
The being hummed and it buzzed not unpleasantly in Damian’s ears.
“Your Majesty, I have summon—“
“Shut up.” It said absent-mindedly, never straying it’s gaze from Damian. Ra’s begrudgingly did as he was told. Damian caught glimpses of his seething disposition behind the being blocking most of Damian’s view.
Then, the being smiled at him. Rows of sharp teeth were visible behind abnormally long canines and Damian withheld a shudder. He didn’t show fear. The being’s smile was disturbingly sharp, unnaturally wide, Damian’s heartbeat ticked up, but he didn’t show fear.
“My, my, you’re a pretty one, aren’t you?” It said and Damian blinked. He didn’t. . .he didn’t know how to process that. The being’s hand reached out to brush his hair out of his face, frigid digits brushing lightly against Damian’s skin. “Tell you what.” The being said, his smile a little less wide, but no less haunting and filled with anticipatory intent that Damian didn’t find reassuring at all. “I’ll heal you.” The being’s head tilted. “And in exchange, you give me your hand in marriage.”
Damian short-circuited. His heart paused. His mouth parted. He may have stopped breathing for a moment.
He blinked several times.
Surely he misheard that.
“. . .What?” He croaked. It took a concerning amount of energy to speak that one word.
“Times a-ticking.” It sang lowly, a knowing smile on it’s face. “You don’t have much longer. It doesn’t matter to me if you’re a ghost or living, but. . .” The being leaned slightly towards where his head tipped to get a better look at Damian’s soon-to-be death wound. “I assume you’d prefer the latter?”
Damian stared up at the being, dumbfounded. Knots of indecipherable emotions sat heavy in his chest as he nodded, mutely. He didn’t know what else to do. His family had no idea where he was or what had happened to him. By the time they figured it out, Damian would be dead. He could feel a darkness creeping into his head and tiring at his eyes. His body felt heavier the longer he laid here and the call to sleep grew stronger and stronger.
He would never wake up.
Or maybe he would become a ghost. That’s what the being said. Was it a ghost? His grandfather had said something about a ghost king, now that he thought about it. Damian had been a little too concussed to pay attention properly.
“Wonderful.” The being drawled with a widening smile that made Damian doubt that this was really a good idea.
From nothing, a rolled up piece of green, slightly glowing paper, manifested in the being’s hand. The ghost let it fall open with a flourish. The being read it aloud.
“Damian Al Ghul Wayne,”
How did this ghost know he was a Wayne?
“In exchange for being fully healed, agrees to wed me, High King Phantom,” He flashed him another toothy smile “And reside in the Infinite Realms in the Royal Keep. Sound good to you?” It—Phantom—said.
Not really, but what else was Damian supposed to do? He had a thought. “Family.” He managed to say with some effort. “Visits.”
The ghost hummed and nodded amicably much to Damian’s relief. If he can see his family and tell them what happened, maybe they can help get him out of this.
Phantom waved his hand and new words appeared on the contract. He cleared his throat. Damian was starting to think he’d die before they got through all this.
“Damian Al Ghul Wayne, In exchange for being fully healed, agrees to wed High King Phantom and reside in the Royal Keep, with the exception of familial visits to the mortal realm.”
Damian kept his surprise from his face. He’d expected his family would be brought to the Infinite Realms, not the other way around.
“How ‘bout that?” Phantom smiled down at him.
Damian nodded. Or tried to.
Phantom’s smile got wider. That bad feeling swirled again in Damian’s stomach.
A feathery pen appeared in Phantom’s free hand and he scrawled his name in flowy letters along the bottom without hesitation. The pen disappeared into thin air. Phantom reached over Damian to slice through his chains easily with a claw.
Damian’s vision was blurring and his movements were sluggish as he pulled his freed hands in front of him. Phantom held out the same pen to him before Damian could even look at his raw wrists, and his shaking hands could hardly grasp it.
“Here. Let me.” Phantom placed the pen between the dying one’s fingers and held his freezing hand over Damian’s. He guided it toward the contract that floated near Damian’s head and touched the pen to paper.
Damian breathed uneasily as green, glowing ink followed the path of the pen, drawing out his name in increasingly alarming reality.
What was Damian doing? This was insane. Was this actually happening?
His heart beat faster, his blood flowed quicker, as the last letter was finished off with a flourish.
The contract glowed brighter and brighter until it disappeared ,conclusively, along with the pen.
Phantom turned to him and held a hand out. The effect was immediate. Damian’s blood ran backwards, dredging back from where it had leaked all over the floor to return to the veins it had been pumped out of. The black threatening to take over Damian’s consciousness slowly dissipated, and his wrists and ankles were healed of the chafing from the shackles. Breathing became easier. His vision grew clearer. His pain was gone. All of it.
Phantom’s hand dropped and Damian pushed himself to sitting, wondrously clenching and unclenching his perfectly functioning hands.
“Better?” Phantom said, standing up. He held a hand out to Damian. The latter eyed it cautiously before flicking his gaze up to the ghost’s face.
“Yes. . .thank you. . .”
“Don’t mention it.” The being hauled Damian to his feet with a casual strength that seemed to surpass his lean muscle. As if Damian weighed nothing at all. The ghost king was a bit shorter than Damian’s six feet and floated to his eye level. He smiled once again. Was it automatic, or did he realize how off-setting it could be and used it? “It wasn’t a favour, after all.”
Damian’s jaw clenched and he hummed, disgruntledly.
“Awww.” The being laughed disappointedly. “That bad, is it?” He raised a hand to Damian’s face and he jerked back, catching the wrist before he could think better of it, and immediately cursing himself for acting so recklessly. Phantom’s hand went intangible and Damian’s eyes widened imperceptibly as it was pulled through his grasp. “Alright, alright.” Phantom placated, holding up his hands.
“Tt.” Damian clicked his tongue, hiding his relief and how erratically his heart fluttered in his chest.
“Your Majesty, might I have your attention?” Ra’s voice was strained with displeasure and he stood stiffly, restrained retaliation to the blatant slights on his person.
“Oh. Right. The fruitloop. Forgot about you.” The smile fell from Phantom’s face as if it had never been there. His tone dropped all previous easiness—because that is what it had been, seeing the undeniable change—and regarded the Demon Head rather coldly. “The one who decided sacrificing his own grandchild was a good idea.”
Damian glanced to the high king, something easing just a little that the king seemed to have some sort of moral compass.
His grandfather paused, realizing he had made a terrible mistake and calculating a way out of this. “He was the only one wort—“
“I don’t really care for your excuses.” Phantom spat, his voice gaining more layers and glitching with harsh static that wasn’t there before. The room grew colder and frost leached across the ground from where Phantom floated. It didn’t touch Damian. “I have heard about you, a man pretending at being immortal and killing whoever you pleased. I can smell it on you.” Phantom snarled lowly as he neared the man, making his grandfather pale; a feat Damian has never seen accomplished. “Ectoplasm—the realm’s ectoplasm. You’ve tainted it.”
“I perfected it.” Ra’s said quietly. Stupidly.
Phantom hovered over Damian’s grandfather, a wicked, small smile curving up one side of his face.
“And now they’re gone. Have fun picking out a casket.” Phantom chuckled darkly.
Ra’s had gone deathly still, not daring to attack a being so powerful that could apparently wipe out the Lazarus Pits without even being present to do it.
The vehemence was utterly gone when Phantom turned and floated over to Damian. “Ready to go?” He held out a hand.
Damian’s muddled, dumbfounded attention was on Phantom’s opposite hand casually trailing downwards and ripping open a green, swirling portal. The colour was similar to the pits. But. . .purer. Like Phantom’s eyes.
Damian looked into them and the king seemed to take that as answer enough. He gave a toothy grin and pulled Damian through.

Time for Us
@steddiemicrofic 🕰️December Prompt: Time 🕰️wc: 485 🕰️rating: G 🕰️Tags: Getting Together, In their 30s, 1/3rd Life Crisis Full of Melancholy and Ennui, Fast Burn (technically), Future Fic, Eddie-centric
Eddie was happy.
Really.
Ok, it’s more like he was fine, but that’s still good, right?
He has Wayne. And his friends! Even if meeting up for D&D has gotten harder. And he has his cat, Shadowfax. He’s even been thinking of getting him a little kitten friend!
He has a solid job running Wayne’s clock shop; Wayne focusing on repairing clocks in the back workroom. Wayne’s even been teaching him everything his old friend from the plant taught him and one day Eddie’ll take over.
See? He has a very full life and future! Everything he never thought he’d get 15 years ago when he was barely graduating high school and being hunted by an entire town. What’s there to complain about?
Sure, maybe he wishes he saw Ste- everyone more often. He understands though, everyone’s busy with their own lives; jobs and partners, babies and pets.
And they do all see each other pretty often! Like, for the 4th of July BBQ and all the kiddie birthday parties, plus the yearly Christmas Secret Santa party and New Years Eve! Sure, the parties have changed a bit to account for kid bedtimes and everyone’s spouses' sides, but that’s just life.
Except…
Sometimes (very rarely, of course) he finds himself yearning.
Yearning for...more.
But it’s fine.
~
Eddie was just finishing winding up a mantle clock when the shop’s hushed quiet, usually only filled by the white noise of clocks ticking away and the radio playing from the counter, was interrupted by the door flinging open. Behind him the little bell above the door is jingling away and the brisk winter air blows in snow from the drift out front.
“Hey, do you know what time it is?”
“Ha ha, never heard that one bef- oh, hey!”
He turns to see Steve pushing the door shut, blocking out the wind. He’s wearing his long tan wool coat and blue scarf that Robin knitted last Christmas, with the white stripe across both ends of dark blue yarn. Steve had rolled his eyes while grinning so hard when he’d opened it, laughing and pulling Robin into a tight hug. They got to explain Scoops Ahoy to the “new people” who didn’t know that’s where they’d become SteveandRobin.
He walks back to the counter, Steve following.
“What brings you to this side of town?”
“You.”
He turns to Steve, leaning sideways against the counter’s opening
“Oh. Did we have plans?”
“Nope. Wanted to ask you something.”
“Ok. Shoot.”
“I love you,” He puts his hand up. “Wait. That’s not my question. I want a life with you, Eddie. If you’d like one with me?”
Eddie’s frozen.
He feels like time’s just stopped (the room of clocks betraying it hasn’t) but he can’t move.
It’s everything he’s always wanted and Steve just walked in and offered it to him, just like that.
There’s only ever been one answer
“Yes”

ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ︶︶︶︶༉‧ ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ︶︶︶︶༉‧
★ sydney the cockatoo
sydney's the most mischievous bastard out of all of them. Your watch is missing? In his nest. Your necklace? His nest aswell. Your hat? He's wearing it. You're never getting it back. He sees something shiny, it's in his little claws. Like all the avian hybrids, his arms are wings and he's covered in feathers. Having a human face with little beak like lips. His legs are bird legs. Black eyes staring at you from his nest in a tree. Be careful where you step after any surprise snow in's. He's probably burying himself in it. 5'4
★ Evangeline the peahen
The elegant, sophisticated, coy, angelic Evangeline. Gabriel's mate but she despises his guts, similar to princess, she much prefers you. Often dragging you to their nest and squabbling with Gabriel when he tried taking you away. She may not be as pretty as he is outside, but she certainly is Inside. Proudly showing off her brown little feathers. 5'6 brown straight hair, black eyes and a little pale
★ gabriel the white peacock
Egotistical bastard. He hates his wife for being so ugly, but he does think you are extraordinarily beautiful. He could definitely envision putting his clutch inside you. He'll figure a way out, don't you worry! An albino peacock male with red eyes, white feathers and extremely pale. 5'7
★ fajarah the ring necked parakeet
she's sydney's little partner in crime, but lately she's mellowed out more. Now preferring to watch the koi mers swim around and munch on some chips she stole from the main house. Tilting her head curiously at something she finds interesting. Bright green feathers and hair, black eyes and tan skin. 5'2
★ foolish the owl finch
often seen in the fields with the cows and bulls, he's quiet and prefers to watch. Hopping around quickly and pecking things that catch his eye. There's not much to say about him since he keeps to himself alot, but he does seem to like the biscuits you bring for him.
★ simon the tyto alba
Simon is deaf and mute, having been found wandering around the farm as a little chick. Now the farmers are looking for any way to help him with his hearing long term, but he seems to have adjusted to looking for any vibrations on the ground. Pale and white hair, black eyes, very pointy beak like lips
★ the koimer quintuplets
There's nothing much different between the quintuplets except their different patterns. Just that tancho is the leader and more mature, Kiko is more curious and childish, Hime is sweet and reserved, tsu is a chatterbox and humble, koromo is loud and nosy
★ mason the "lake monster" (crocodile)
Mason is like an older brother figure for the quintuplets, teaching them Little bits of English and watching you interact with them from the depths of the lake or hidden behind some underwater trees in the lake. You may not always see him, but he's always there. Silently watching. Messy grungy hair, green eyes, and has a light tan. 6'4

PROLOGUE
Guys—I never ever ever write Yandere Fics but?? Dead on Main Mutual Yandere??? Ghost Obsessions or Ghost Biology taken to an extreme, leading to bloody and ectoplasmic messes??? DAMN
(Legit wrote this in 15 minutes on my phone lmao)
Jason smirked underneath his mask, a feral grin of all teeth as he dug his nails into the body underneath him. These white suited fucks had been crawling through Gotham for weeks and the Pit snarled everytime he caught sight of one in his territory. It had been months since he had gone into a green-tinted rage, but every time he saw one of the walking stain collectors he had to fight one down. The Pit snarled deep in his chest and begged for violence, begged to turn the eggshell colored tuxedos into a mess of carnage, everytime he came close to the 'agents'.
There was an ache in his gums and a burning underneath his nails, he dug them deeper into the light colored flesh. Blood pooled under the abuse, were his nails supposed to be that sharp?
Jason got tired of watching these guys shuffle through Crime Alley like they owned the streets he cleaned, and the people under his protection were constantly complaining about them too. He was just supposed to come in to question them, threaten them so they learned the rules, he didn't expect the RAGE-RAGE-RAGE that overtook him as soon as he was in range of the eyesores.
It was...different than his usual pit-induced madness. There was a purpose tickling in the back of his brain—a garbled voice he recognized but didn't that was screaming at him.
RAGE-PROTECT-KING
King?
Jason snarled before putting the rest of his strength into his grip, there was an audible snap underneath his palm. The last agent's body fell limp in his grasp.
KING-PROTECT-SAVE
The thing in his chest howled at him as it forced his legs to move, instinct carrying him as he put bullets (real ones, why did he have real ones? He barely used those anymore) into whatever fashion-freak tried to stop him with their Lazarus green guns. Their aim was shit, his was better.
KING-HERE-PROTECT
There was a paines scream on the other side of the wall that had Jason snapping back into awareness, and with strength he didn't know he had he ripped a thick metal door with his bare hands and threw it to the side. The Pit settled in his chest, a grumbling anxious thing instead of the all consuming it was moments ago. Jason absent-mindedly rubbed his hand where he felt the warmth of the green that stayed with him before he stepped into a sparsely lit room.
Glowing green Lazarus water and blood was spewed and mixed across the walls, a chaotic clash of neon and maroon that stunk of copper and acid. There was a figure wailing in the middle of the room as more green leaked from an open wound on its chest. No, not just an open wound, a vivisection. His vision tinted harshly once more as he slowly made his way to the restrained figure.
A man, most likely the same age or younger than him, with snow white hair, tanned skin that looked almost blue-tinted, glowing freckles in the shape of constellations, and green-green-green unseeing eyes as they spilled cold tears. Jason gently wiped the tears away as if pulled by instinct, and cooed softly with and audible echo in his chest. The Pit had never felt like this, not even in his most justified rages. It had never felt this soft either.
The man cried harder as he tilted his cheek further into Jason's bloody fingerless gloves, a pitiful whine escaping his throat as he begged without words. Jason doesn't know why it was so important for him to get this man his king out and to safety, to care for him, but he knew denying that instinct would only hurt him in the future. There was a warmth building under his fingertips before he pulled them slowly away from the freckled skin, the man gasping and blinking rapidly trying to find him again.
scared-help-afraid
There was a rumble deep in Jason's chest as if the soothe the man, and it seemed to work. The strained shoulders relaxed slightly and allowed Jason to move his (clawed?) fingers to the thick iron cuffs with strange electricity running through them. With a clenched jaw, he ripped the metal in half for each restraint, barely holding back the green before pulling needle and thread from somewhere in the room. The man didn't react to being stitched up, but whimpered when Jason's hands left his chest. A green and purple bruised hand shot out to bring his palm back, and Jason murmured softly while interlacing their fingers.
RAGE-PROTECT-HELP
grateful-safe-help?
HELP-RAGE-PROTECT
The being slumped into his arms as Jason pulled him close—the blue-tinted man weighed less than a bag of chips.
They deserved to suffer for the horrific acts they committed to his king the man in his arms. The Pit and him agreed on that.
With a gruff, Jason adjusted to pull off his jacket and cover the weeping wound of the man. He pulled him into a bridal-style carry before making his way out of the horror room, stepping over freshly dead and dying bodies. There was more blood in the previously white hallways than there was in the room he came from, and he wasn't gentle about stepping over still-alive scientists and agents. He ended up crushing skulls under his steel toed boots when the Pit snarled for their blood, but the rest wound bleed out and die slowly.

𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
501st x F!Jedi!Reader General Skywalker clearly wasn't a reliable source of intell, having pointed you and Rex's squad into the icy tumbra of a long deserted planet, however, it was due to his calculated mistake that the Clones were able to reveal your deeply hidden desires. Being stuck in a cave with numerous handsome, attractive men was not on your to-do list, yet you weren't complaining. Word Count: 3028
Warnings: Unedited, random brain rainbow vomit I had whilst practicing writing techniques <3 It's somewhat (quite) spicy towards the end. There is a lot of fluff throughout most of it! A/N: This is mostly just Tup, Rex and Fives x reader as this was a very spontaneous fic T_T pls forgive me.
Tumblr media
"General Skywalker said this would be an easy mission," Fives hissed under his breath, the deep, reverbrating sound of his voice lost underneath the wolfish howling of the wind, clusters of snow beating at his helmet. This was supposed to be a quick and easy diplomatic trip, but where did he and the 501st Legion find themselves? Somewhere on a deserted, icy, snowy planet. "My toes are about to fall off!"
"Yeah, he promised us there'd be clear blue skies and hot weather. A beach even!" Echo added on, shrugging his shoulders in defeat. Rather than being on a hot, sandy beach, the brothers had found themselves treading through waist-deep snow, their fingers and toes turning into icicles, their blasters heavy in their grasps.
"I thought this was supposed to be a diplomatic trip, Captain," Fives continued, his voice becoming white noise as Rex all but ignored his brother, gracing him with an occasional hum or grunt, to let him know he was listening. But he wasn't hearing. Rex was also unhappy with the circumstances, but it was his job to do this kind of thing. It's not like the clones could refuse not going on a mission, not going head-first into a battle, so he definitely would have appreciated General Skywalker's honesty, over trickery.
The weather was only getting worse, the wind and snow beating at the men cruelly, the blue paint on their armour completely disappeared under the clusters of snow that had latched themselves onto the clones.
He paused in his tracks, scanning the area through his optical goggles. He spotted something. Something dark, something round. His men stopped behind him, eerily silent as they anticipated their Captain's next words.
Rex, turning to face his brothers, couldn't help the way his shoulders visibly relaxed as he relayed the news, "I see a cave entrance just a couple yards ahead, boys! We will seek shelter there!" He exclaimed, waving his arm, signalling for them to keep going, to keep following him.
In the very back, just behind Tup and Jesse, a lone, female Jedi guarded their backs, one hand hovering protectively over her weapon, the other shielded away in the pocket of her coat. A backpack hung onto her shoulders, the leather material soaked and cold, receiving most of the onslaught of the weather.
Her mind was wandering, body craving to feel the heat of a hot sun glazing against her bare skin, just as Anakin had hinted to. But instead, she was stuck walking through a blizzard, her body cold and tired.
She had also been excited to spend some quality time with the boys from the 501st, whom she had been recently often paired with for missions. The sight of them all relaxing and enjoying their time on the beach, with their tops exposed, tan skin glistening under the sunlight.. Yeah, that would have been a sight worth seeing.
A sudden, much harsher gust of wind jolted her from her thoughts, clumps of snow quickly settling against the icy skin on her face.
Her robes, too, were soaked, struggling to maintain the warmth in her body as she did her best to follow the path created by the clones, snow crunching under her winter boots.
She too wasn't made aware of the true conditions of the mission. She couldn't tap into the force either, to predict or to feel some kind of warning of the mission ahead. What was Skywalker thinking? He was lucky none of her men had fallen! The moment she'd get back, the moment her eyes would land on him, he would be wise to run for the hills. She could imagine the fear in his eyes as she comically choked him out, swaying the male back and forth in a fit of anger.
Relief flooded the squad as one by one, they made their way into the cave, it being cleared by their Captain and medic, Rex and Kix.
Quickly setting camp, the clones hovered around their makeshift fire, some huddled close together, others snuggling under individual, soaked blankets. The snow had penetrated all of their supplies; food, water, tents and blankets. All they could do was hope that the fire would last long enough for the storm to pass, for their blankets to dry out and warm up.
"What the hell was the General thinking?" Fives muttered, his eyebrows furrowed. He rubbed his bare hands together until they were warm enough, and then he shifted closer to the fire.
His feet stung, the feeling just barely coming back to him after that gruelling tread. He was sure if his feet didn't fall off yet, then something else soon would.
You exhaled a heavy sigh, a blanket resting over your shoulders as you extended your palms out towards the fire. Rex had been kind enough to lend you his blanket, noticing that your robes and skirt were practically drenched from the weather. Sure, you weren't dressed for the beach, but you also weren't dressed well enough for a blizzard.
You were lucky to have been warned, or rather told, by Master Kenobi of the true conditions of your mission. If you hadn't been, your troops wouldn't have had enough time to prepare for the weather.
Looking over your squad, you made eye contact with Tup. A worried frown ghosted over his rough features, the creases that you hated so much appearing on his forehead.
Slowly, you made your way over to the trooper, one hand outstretched.
"Tup? Are you okay?" You asked, resting your hand over his shoulder. As if startled, the man looked to you, his brows quirked in surprise.
"G-General? Why do you ask?" He questioned, gaze flickering down to your hand, before coming back up to stare into your eyes. A soft, pink hue dusted over his cheeks, and your heart fluttered at the sight. Sure, he was sweet and kind, he was the shyest of your men. He was almost like a puppy, his chocolatey brown eyes so deep, so sweet, you had lost yourself in them again.
He was the only man who gazed into your eyes long enough for you to drown, a soft smile erupting on your face as you fought your best to not reach up and caress his cheek in your palm.
"General? Are you listening?" He asked, his gloved hands reaching up to shake at your shoulders, gently.
Your lashes fluttered over your eyes, taking in a deep exhale, you shrugged. Were you really okay?
Taking a moment to respond, your gaze flickered up, noticing how wet his hair was.
"Tup, d'you want me to dry your hair?" The words tumbled from your mouth before your brain could finish processing their meaning. Tup's eyes widened into saucers as he stood there, frozen. You had never been so caring to your men, at least, not like this.
Remember that pink hue that dusted his cheeks just a moment ago? Yeah, now that's turned into a beetroot blush, the colour painting his ears, his face and neck in a deep shade of reddish-purple. Would it be okay for you to display such blatant acts of affection? Wouldn't that be against the rules and regulations of the Jedi council? Against the regulations of the GAR? If so, would his brothers snitch?
"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to-" You started, your mouth quickly dropping into the shape of an 'o' as Tup interrupted you.
"General, I would love for you to dry my hair." He said with a soft smile, scratching at the back of his nape.
Realising it was too late now to back out, you gave a small nod of your head before taking his gloved hand in yours, the leathery material scraping nicely against your soft skin, as you led him closer to the campfire.
Motioning for Tup to sit down, you stood directly behind, and, above him, reaching to remove your dry blanket from your shoulders. You didn't have a towel, so a blanket should be a good enough substitute. Your hands reached to remove his hairtie, sliding it over your hand to rest on your wrist, your fingers quickly making their way to masssage Tup's scalp.
As he leaned his head back into your soft hold, Tup couldn't help the relieved sigh that escaped his lips. Your fingernails grazed softly against his skin, tugging gently at his soft curls, sending eletric shivers down the male's spine.
But it was when your hands slid from his scalp, over to his nape and shoulders, applying soft but firm pressure against his tired muscles that the involuntary groan escaped his lips, rumbling deep from within his chest.
Your body stiffened, stopping your ministrations as a familiar spark shot through your heart, right down to your abdomen.
Your eyes, wide and unblinking, stared into Tup's as the colour red flushed his cheeks once more. His eyes searched yours, a worried glint dancing across as he waited for your reaction. His lips stuttered as he was about to apologise, provide an excuse, tell you it was okay if you didn't want to continue.
But the words fell short on his tongue as the corners of your lips tugged upwards, your hands applying the slightest bit more pressure to his sore muscles.
A grunt was stiffled in his throat, his eye fighting hard to stay open, looking anywhere but at your face. He didn't want to make you uncomfortable, give you the wrong idea-
None of his brothers did.
Though a lump formed in his throat as Tup looked around the cave, noticing the numerous lingering gazes of his brothers as they sat there, watching your movements. He could almost feel the jealousy vibrating off of Rex in waves, his gaze hardened as the corners of his lips fought to stay straight.
A smirk tugged at Tup's lips, as he noticed Jesse squint his eyes at him. Deciding to add fuel to the fire, Tup groaned again when your hands pressed against a particularly tense muscle in his shoulder.
"Woah, General, where did you learn this?" He asked, a familiar warmth blooming in his abdomen as your nimble fingers danced across his shoulders, tugging at the black suit he wore, exposed now as his armour rested beside a sleeping bag nearby.
"Oh, you know, just learned bits here and there when I was stationed with Commander Wolffe," You chuckled, wetting your lips with the tip of your tongue, "That man was full of knots in his shoulders." You added, feeling Tup's shoulders relax more and more, until you had mentioned Wolffe. That's when his posture straightened, from a relaxed lean, to a pin-straight sitting up position.
He tilted his head back to look at you, a curious yet worried glint in his golden eyes.
"Were you and Commander Wolffe close, by any chance?" He questioned, his breathing paused.
If you were Wolffe's girl, then he knew the 501st couldn't, wouldn't pursue you.
Or, if you weren't, then they knew at least they could ask the Commander of his previous.. Experiences, with you.
Slowly, you caught onto Tup's drift, and your gaze travelled around the room. Some of the men were fully facing the two of you, legs spread, eyes laser-focused as they listened to your conversation, the cave suddenly, and eerily silent.
A shiver travelled down your spine, and a gentle smirk tugged at your lips.
"Oh, just you know, the occasional date here and there.." You said, shrugging your shoulders nonchalantly. Your smirk threatened to grow as you heard someone scoff, and you looked up to see Rex rolling his shoulders, a scowl on his face.
"Date? Isn't that, like, forbidden?" Fives questioned across from you, leaning over curiously, his eyebrows raised, resembling the blue markings on his helmet.
A giggle escaped your lips as your hands returned to Tup's hair, suddenly remembering why you were giving him a random shoulder massage. You reached over to grab the blanket Rex had given you, placing soft curls between the two valleys of softness created by your hands, which were hidden underneath the soft cushion.
Your hands brushed through Tup's soft hair, gently dragging the strands through the dry, fuzzy material of your blanket.
"I don't mean a romantic date, Fives, though I wouldn't be opposed to one." You mused, softly tugging at the locks. "I don't particulaly agree with the 'No Attachments' rule. But that doesn't make me less of a Jedi, or does it, do you think?" You questioned, your gaze softening, a small scowl now tugging at your lips.
"Of course not, General," This time, it was Rex who spoke up, albeit too fast for his liking, "You're one of the most dedicated Jedi I've had the pleasure of working with," He stated, soft footsteps making their way closer and closer to you, "Plus, it is human to wish to form attachments." He whispered that last part, now standing directly above you as you twisted Tup's hair into the towel.
Your heart fluttered at the proximity, warmth enveloping your pinkening cheeks.
"Is it now, Rex?" You asked, looking up at him. Your heart palpitated at the close proximity, your hands gliding down to caress Tup's shoulders. Your gaze stayed unwavering, unbreaking as you looked into Rex's deep, honey-gold eyes. The Captain suddenly shifted, breaking eye contact as he stepped back a little.
"I-I believe any of us s-should be able to form attachments," He paused, his gaze flickering from your eyes to your lips, and back to your eyes, "Romantic ones, especially." A chorus of 'Yeah's' and humms of agreement followed, catching your attention as you looked around.
The atmosphere in the cave seemed to have completely shifted, the sound of howling wind drowned out underneath the loud beat of your heart. You swallowed a forming lump, looking between Rex and his brothers, Tup now stood by your side, sandwiching your body between his and Rex's.
Gloved hands came up to softly caress your shoulders, fingertips lightly tugging at the edge of your collar, grazing the skin underneath.
"What do you think, Commander?" He whispered into your ear, hot breath fanning over your skin.
"Of?" You prompted, turning your head lightly to look at Tup.
"Of close relations between Jedi and their Clones?"
Your eyes widened, feeling a familiar heat rush over your body, and you took inhaled a slow, deep, shaky breath. As you looked between Tup and Rex, the latter had made his way closer to your body, his hands making their way to your hips.
The sound of soft footsteps reached your ears, and you saw Echo, Fives, Jesse, Kix, Dogma and Hardcase making their way closer to the three of you, looking completely entranced by the conversation. You hadn't casted any spells on them, have you?
Your breath hitched in your throat, shivers overtaking your body as someone nuzzled their nose into the crook of your neck, inhaling deeply, exhaling with a shaky sigh. As they spoke, your heart fluttered with recognition.
"General, answer the question." Fives whispered, his voice gravelly and deep, one gloved hand gently grasping your chin, twisting it to face him. His gaze flickered to your lips,  just mere inches from his own. He could almost feel the taste of you on his tongue. Oh how he wished to kiss you, right then and there. He was so sure you'd let him, too.
Sure, maybe you did fantasise about the men from time to time, when your thoughts weren't preoccupied by ongoing battles and Jedi duties. How you wished to be allowed to form a connection deeper than General and Trooper, but did they?
"I- I.. I don't k-know?" You questioned, a soft whimper escaping your opened mouth, before you knew it, his lips crashed against yours, his hands latching themselves into your hair, pulling you closer, if physically possible.
The kiss was, to simply put it, sweet. His goatee rubbed nicely against your chin, his lips melting together with yours, as if they were always meant to. His tongue prodded at your bottom lip, asking for permission. Slipping in, it danced with yours, hot breaths mingling together as you felt something press up against your front.
Rex.
You had almost forgotten you were trapped between Rex and Tup, too engulfed with the sudden kiss Fives had engaged you in.
The smell of pine and smoke invaded your nostrils, their scents overwhelming, flooding your senses as Fives became rougher, his hands tugging at the roots of your hair. With one hand, you grasped the side of his face, thumb rubbing soothing circles into his rough skin, your breath hitched as a groan escaped his lips.
"Okay, that's enough I think." Kix spoke, the kiss abruptly interrupted as he pulled Fives away by the scruff of his neck.
"General? Are you okay?" Rex's voice was soft as he neared you, his breath fanning over the sensitive shell of your ear.
Inhaling a shallow breath, you grasped his biceps with both hands.
"Call me Y/n.." You whispered, hazily meeting Rex's stare, his eyebrows raised, eyes wide.
"R-Right.. Y/n, d'you want us to continue?" He questioned, bringing a hand to gently clutch your chin.
Your eyes widened as you took in the situation around you; eight men surrounded you, watching. Waiting. Ready to pounce, the moment they received your permission.
And receive it, they did.
With a brisk nod, you allowed your eyes to flutter shut as Rex closed the gap between the two of you, his lips rough but warm as his body pushed roughly against yours, your back meeting Tup's chest in a close embrace.
Your hands rested against Rex's chest, feeling the soft material of his shirt underneath your thumbs. His chest was warm and firm under your touch, the feeling of his heart racing beneath your hand had your own chest swelling with joy. A sigh left your lips as you felt a pair of lips press open-mouthed kisses against the expanse of your neck, a new pair of hands rubbing up and down your hips, encouraging you.
You weren't dreaming, were you? You weren't about to wake up, were you?
Your questions were answered as you felt Rex bite your bottom lip, his hands tugging at the roots of your hair.
No, this definitely wasn't a dream.
And if it was, it wasn't one you wished to wake from.

as of late, yuji's one and only dream has been to build a snowman with you.
it's small, he knows, but his heart has been dead set to make it happen. he's been praying for snow since august (mind you, the temperatures were close to heatwaves) and has been counting down the days to december. because... you know... it always snows in winter, doesn't it?
okay, maybe he did get a bit carried away at some point. he saw some kids having a snowball fight nearby, and his fomo hit hard. who knows how long the snow is going to last? he needs to make the most of it!
both of your clothes were covered in bursts of white and water. thank god he was going easy on you, because your aim was horrific, going way over his head at times. he made sure to avoid hitting you in the face, often just aiming for your arms so you could brush yourself off afterwards.
as he was backing up to avoid getting hit by the significantly larger snowball in your hands, there was a particularly icy spot en route. so much for wearing boots made for snow, because he slipped anyways, tumbling onto his back. luckily, his fall was cushioned by patch of snow.
he couldn't even feel the cold. your adorable laugh was much too distracting. he could stay down here all day if it could last forever. he made you laugh, he made you happy, how much better could his day possibly get?
"yu, don't be lazy." first, he hears you in the distance, then he sees you, your pretty face hovering overhead, alongside a bright grin on your lips. "get up."
you pull his clumsy self up by the wrist with a bit of struggle, your giggles becoming unstoppable. once he's standing, you plant your hands on his shoulders for stability, still managing to feel the muscles despite the thick padding of his coat. through your playful haze, you notice his face, or rather his cheeks, now adorned with a cherry red hue peeking through his tanned skin.
"oh!" your gloved hands cup his face. "your face is all red! you look like rudolph." boop. if you could feel it through the cotton covering your fingertips, his nose would be oddly warm. to 'help' him through the chilly weather, you press a tiny peck to his cheek. a teasing gesture, but it's something you've been wanting to do since the wake of dawn.
yuji's puzzled — were his cheeks burning up because of the frost, or the simple kiss that you gave him? he's all to aware of his body catching on fire, his hands, ears, head, everywhere.
he's quickly snapped out of it as you tug on his wrist. "come on, we still have to make those snowmen!"
his expression quickly shifts as his mind starts to clear up, back to being filled with excitement and giddiness. still, one thought will continue float at the surface as a constant reminder: he loves you more than anything.

More evil head cannons
I have silly ideas about the gang after the event of the story, everyone lives, except Bob
PONY:
Has a thousand yard stare when he zones out
Has the loudest, most disgusting, mucus filled cough ever
Actually really good at drawing
Has drawn every member of the gang at least twice
Loves physical touch, he leans on his friends when their sitting next to him.
Actually screams during horror movies, like loud genuine screams
Loves play fighting with Darry, like full on wrestling
Steve taught him how to drive
He either walks like a ghost or stomps, there is no in between
He can play one song on the guitar, and that’s it
His legs are super strong, so his kicks hurt really bad
He would be better at track, but his smoking habits hold him back
He feels jealous of Soda and Darry because they had more time with their parents
He and Darry have matching reading glasses
SODA:
He says “I’m just a girl” anytime he gets in trouble
He has used his pretty privilege to get out of being arrested multiple times
Despite how handsome he knows he is, he still feels super insecure about his looks
He steals from the DX station constantly
He and Steve spend hours gossiping about their customers once both of their shifts are over
A dog bit him when he was a kid, now he’s deathly afraid of them
He loves physical affection, hugging him is the best way to cheer him up
Absolute candy addict
Candy is the #1 item he steals from the DX
He broke his dominant hand once, and now his handwriting is permanently ruined
He reads insanely slow and monotone when he reads out loud
He either sleeps like a rock, or wakes up from the slightest sound, there is no in between
He lives in his flannel, that thing hasn’t been washed in literal years
He suffers from middle child syndrome, he knows his brothers love him, but they don’t pay enough attention to him
DARRY:
He hates his jobs, he knows he has to go but he can’t stand them
All of his coworkers are old and they treat him like a child (which he’s kind of okay with in a way)
He loves watching cartoons but he feels like he’d be wasting his time
He sneezes like a dad
He wakes up at 4 am and works out immediately
Loves compliments and words of affection
Doing favors is his love language
He has the whitest legs ever, he’s all tan on the top and snow white on the bottom
His tan ends where his pants start
Small bits of his hair are grey, he doesn’t know
He has a fear of abandonment
He is insanely flexible for a man of his size, like he can touch the floor standing up with ease
He hit a dog with his car once and cried for 2 hours straight
He loves cuddling on the couch with his brothers, it helps him relax
He despises Curly Shepard, he’s civil with Tim, but he HATES Curly
When he comes home from his ski trips with his old friends, he actually looks his age
A woman once assumed he was Pony’s father, and it made him die inside a little

He listens to metal
When he passes Johnny’s house, he has to actively stop himself from walking in and beating Johnny’s parents half to death, especially his father

He constantly forgets to brush his teeth
Pop and beer are the only things he drinks, he doesn’t touch water
He religiously wears Mickey Mouse merch, you will never catch him in a plain shirt
Baby Pony and him got along really well, he was kinda like Pony’s goofy cousin
Two-Bit and Darry have been friends since they were little kids
Two has no plans for his future, and it weighs on him
He broke both of his elbows once
His teachers have kinda given up on him, they just treat him like a bother instead of a student
STEVE:

He constantly smells like oil
The underside of his nails are always black, no matter how much he washes his hands
He and Soda have matching scars from a shared failed attempt to climb a barb wired fence

He and Soda make your mom jokes at each other, despite neither of them having mothers
His voice is scarily deep when he wakes up
He and Two-Bit have an inside joke no one in the gang understands
He, Soda, and Two-Bit all have matching stick and poke tattoos
He hates his father, and by extension the fathers of Johnny and Two-Bit
He and Dally don’t hang out much, but when they do they are absolute menaces
Dally and him steal cars and hub caps together
He is genuinely upset by the size of his nose
JOHNNY:

He and the gang all picked out stickers to put on his crutches
He loves sleeping around his friends
His hands are rough
He can’t stand the smell of beer, unless it’s one of the gang
He and Curly hate each other for literally no reason
Pony has slowly been teaching him to read better
No matter how much grease he puts in his hair, it won’t stay back
He hates going out in public because people always look at him funny
He hates looking at his burn scars
He, Dally, and Ponyboy watch sunsets together
He either sleeps at the Cutis’s house, Two-Bit’s house, Steve’s (very rarely), or Dallas’s place.
He’s not allowed to sleep in the lot anymore
He has tons of freckles, you just can’t see them against his skin
He loves sleeping outside when he wants to
He never wants children, he’s to scared he’ll become his father
His pain tolerance is so high that sometimes he won’t even notice when he gets injured
He likes how defensive Dallas is of him, makes him feel confident
He smokes marijuana with Dally sometimes, he’s super anxious when they do though because he doesn’t want to get arrested
DALLY:
He will not talk about his feelings
The cops forced him to go to therapy, it didn’t fix anything
He is amazing at lying
The police know him by name
He hasn’t told the gang much about the past other than where he came from and that he doesn’t talk to his folks
Darry nicknamed him “Rat”
He actually feels bad when Darry yells at him
He gets sun burns very quickly
He has his own personal stench
He doesn’t want Johnny to end up like him
He cried for 3 hours straight when he found out Johnny was still alive, it is his most embarrassing moment
He chugs drinks insanely fast
He can’t read very well
He needs glasses but he thinks he’d look like a wimp if he had any
Even though he knows he could have an asthma attack from coughing to hard, he still doesn’t carry his inhaler
He was happy when he thought he was going to die
Then he woke up and had an epiphany about life, it didn’t do to much, but now he knows death isn’t the only option
He proudly shows off the burn marks on his arm
He loves pushing Johnny around in his wheelchair
He listens to outlaw music and Frank Sinatra
He loves horror movies
He toned down his bad behavior once he got out of the hospital, he’s still a dick though
That’s it or whatever. I hope you like them, I’m sorry if some of them don’t make sense. I’m just so silly. I apologize for my horrible grammar lol. Feel free to tell me some of your head cannons!! :D

Based on this ask
WARNING ⚠️ Strabo Plinth is a horrible father with outdated views and doesn't care about the Reader. Obsessive! Coriolanus, Reader's over everyone's bull crap (as she should be)
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
When your parents told you about your brother's death, you were heartbroken and stunned. You always knew that Sejanus was a revolutionary; wanted to change the world, but you never thought that he'd align himself in a rebel plot while a peacekeeper in 12. He was supposed to be enlisting to be a medic, not to join the locals in attempted uprisings.
But that wasn't the worst part about his death.
No.
No, the worst part was how your father, Strabo Plinth, decided to bypass you, act like you were never born, and make Coriolanus Snow his heir.
Your father set Coriolanus Snow as heir to the Plinth fortune all because he was your brother's best friend, his brother, and always looked out for him. Never mind the fact that you're Strabo’s own flesh and blood. Since you're a female, the weaker sex, you were cast aside in favor of Coriolanus.
A strong, cunning, handsome young man that your father wanted to replace your brother with.
It made you sick.
Especially since your family decided to move into Coriolanus’ building (after buying the damn thing and ensuring that the platinum blonde boy's family wouldn't be evicted) on the floor right below his.
Hell, your Ma was acting like a damn maid for Coriolanus’ grandmother, Grandma’am Snow, and it drove you insane. Your mother was being so sweet and helpful, cleaning the penthouse for the Snows and the old woman seemed to turn her nose down at your Ma because of her district 2 blood. Well, your father's money was good enough for the Snows despite his District 2 blood.
And you, well, you tried to steer clear of the Snow family as much as you possibly could. Especially Coriolanus since you just couldn't handle how he was replacing your brother in your family's life; stealing your inheritance and any possible future you could've had for yourself. He'll be the one running Plinth Munitions (headquartered in your native District 2) while you'll be cut out of the family.
No, now your future is whatever man your father arranges for you to marry. You can only pray that he picks somebody you can tolerate, perhaps even fall in love with.
But you doubt he'll do that. You know that your father will match you with a rich man.
And from what you've seen of Capitol marriages (including your parents’) love is never shown. Never an important part of the equation.
The only important part’s money and alliances.
And since your family's new money, well you just know that your father's going to use your youthful beauty to solidify a spot in an affluent old money family.
Lucky you…
Tumblr media
Even though you can't stand Coriolanus Snow, you’re still polite and cordial with him. But you didn't say more than a simple sentence to him before making a lame excuse to leave his presence.
That, unknown to you, baffled Coriolanus. Your mother adores him, your father felt that he was a great young man, and your late brother view him as, well, a brother.
But you…
No, you couldn't stand to be around him for more than a minute or so. Always, albeit politely, rushing off and away from him. As if his mere presence disgusted you. What was it about him that you found appalling?
Was it his smell? Did you not like roses? Or was it his tall, athletic build? Did his long legs and sinewy muscles turn you off since you're of District 2 birth? Would you rather spend time with a tan skinned, stocky boy- someone with the looks of a person from 2? Was it his icy blue eyes or nearly white blonde hair, just like his late father's, that made you back away from him? Did you want to look at a man with big brown eyes and dark near black hair- like the ones from 2?
What was it about him that made you run? Not knowing the answer was driving Coriolanus crazy. So, because he needed to know why you couldn't stand him, albeit in a polite way, he decided that he was going to turn the tides and make you genuinely like him- even if it's the last damn thing he does.
You will genuinely like him; he'll make sure of it. Even if it kills him to do it, you're going to be kissing his feet in genuine adoration when he's through with you.
Tumblr media
You’re in the kitchen with Ma, helping her bake one of her famous blueberry pies, whenever you hear the distinct click-clanking of floor shines against the marble floor.
Floor shines that belong to Coriolanus Snow.
“Ma, is Y/N helping you bake this afternoon?” You heard the blonde, who was your father's replacement heir since you had a cunt and couldn't be the spare, ask as he walked into the room.
Why couldn't he just entertain himself with your Pa in the study, drinking brandy and smoking cigars? Did he just have to come into the kitchen, the one safe space you and Ma had in this Corso apartment- hell in this Capitol filled life? The fact that Coriolanus was in the kitchen, schmoozing your mother and giving her a warm hug, acting as if he was her son, made you sick.
Sej, your older brother by 13 months, always gave Ma hugs and peppered her cheeks with kisses every time he fled your father's study; his harsh lessons about running the District 2 munitions company, for the safe haven of helping her in the kitchen. Your big brother, who was so sweet and pure hearted; kind and selfless, always loved to help your Ma in the kitchen. In fact, baking in the kitchen was a bonding experience between Sejanus, Ma, and you.
You had so many good memories of helping Ma bake with Sej. You'll be damned if you just stand back and let Coriolanus wiggle is way into the kitchen and taint the precious memories you have of your big brother, you, and Ma baking in your old apartment’s mediocre kitchen.
A kitchen that was nothing compared to the one you're currently standing in, here in the prestigious Corso apartment your father dragged your family to in order to save the Snows from financial ruin, but you'd give anything to be back in that simple kitchen with your brother. You'd gladly trade this large state of the art kitchen you're currently in with Ma and Coriolanus if it meant you’d be able to have one more moment with Sejanus and your Ma back home in the kitchen that held so much warmth and joy in it.
No matter how much Ma tries, the kitchen you're currently in just doesn't feel cozy and warm. Maybe it's because of the lack of Sejanus or maybe it's because it's too large with neutral colors and decor- who knows. But what you do know is that even with Ma setting up her little corner in the kitchen with her birdie knickknacks and ‘Home Sweet Home’ mountain landscape cross-stitch your auntie sent her years ago as a gift, the kitchen is still ice cold.
“Y/N is a natural in the kitchen; she's always helping me bake this or cook that.” Ma warmly told Coriolanus, giving him a bright, motherly smile. A smile that was silently encouraging him to make a move on you.
Unknown to you and Coriolanus, Ma desperately wanted you two together. She saw the potential for love to blossom and bloom between you two.
If only Ma knew that Coriolanus was already becoming obsessed with you, merely because he wanted you to notice him. To like him. That for months now, you've plagued his every thought.
Or maybe Ma did know, in a roundabout way, that the platinum blonde boy had his icy baby blues on her daughter, who seemed indifferent to his charm due to grief and mourning.
“Really?” Coriolanus asked, a large predatory smile on his perfectly sculpted face. “I knew that Sejanus helped, but not that Y/N did as well.”
At the mention of your brother's name, you felt like you're going to be sick. So, you quickly excused yourself and bolted from the room.
Coriolanus watched you dash off, a hint of worry in his eyes.
What did he do or say to make you scurry off? It has to be his smell or his looks. It just had to be, since he's never done or said anything rude to you.
Why can't you stand to be around him? What does he have to do to make you see him as a god instead of a disgusting hindrance?
Ma let out a small sigh, only to abandon the pie on the table and go over to Coriolanus. Rubbing his back in a motherly fashion, she told the boy, who was her son's only friend; who she took under her wing as if he was her own, “Y/N hasn't been dealing with Sejanus' death very well.” Ma’s rounded face, usually so cheerful, fell as she explained, “Sejanus had you as a friend, but Y/N doesn't have any friends. She only had Sejanus and now that he's gone…”
“She doesn't have to be alone, Ma. I'll be her friend.” Coriolanus assured your mother, all the while feeling pity for you because, well, you were all alone. It's sad that you didn't have a friend.
Everyone needs friends.
“I've been trying to win her over, but I guess I'll just have to try harder.” Coriolanus charmingly told Ma, giving her a dazzling smile.
Ma only hoped that he could charm you into friendship, maybe more, before your father arranged a marriage contract for you. She knew that he was looking for a husband for you. Maybe if he saw Coryo, his late son's best friend, making you happy he'd approach him about taking your hand in marriage.
A mother could only dream.
If only Strabo Plinth looked at you with love and not as a disdain because you were born with a cunt and not a cock. Honestly, your father could've made Coriolanus his heir by arranging a match between the two of you, but he didn't. No, he cut you out of the family in all, but name, and gave everything, but the family name, to Coriolanus.
Strabo viewed Coriolanus Snow as his pseudo-son and you’re just the daughter he needed to get rid of, with a marriage, as soon as you graduated from the Academy in 4 months time.
Yes, your expiration date as a single young woman's coming up fast.
But there's nothing that you, your mother, or even Coriolanus can do about it. Because, despite being from District 2, Strabo Plinth has more money than the gods; can do whatever the hell he wants. And if he wants to marry his daughter off before the ink on her Academy diploma’s dry, then so be it.
Tumblr media
You’re sitting on the window settee, idly looking down at the city below, whenever your bedroom door creaks open. Without turning your attention away from the window, you sigh, “I don't wanna talk right now, Ma. I just want to be alone for a little while.”
But instead of a soft, but warm, ‘Yes, sweetheart.’, followed by the sound of the door closing- which always happens when you tell Ma you want your space, you instead receive a rich baritone telling you, “I'm not Ma and I'm sorry, but I can't leave you alone right now.”, as the distinct sound of floor shines click-clanking against the floor echoes in the air.
Of course, Coriolanus Snow came running after you.
You fight the urge to roll your eyes. You didn't dare look at the man who smelled like roses, dressed in one of his signature red suits, as he made his way over to you. You didn't utter a word as he sat down next to you, his weight causing the window settee to dip slightly.
You were content to ignore him, but he was determined to make you notice him. Coriolanus took your hand in his, only to say, “It's okay to miss Sejanus. I still miss him too, but you can't let yourself drown in your grief. Your brother would want you to keep living.”
His words pissed you off. Who was he to tell you such things?
Yanking your hand out of his so fast, as if his touch was hot flames licking at your skin, you snapped, “Don't you dare lie to my face about missing my brother when you're making out like a bandit from his death by replacing him; stealing his life!” You continued to stare out the window as you harshly told Coriolanus, “Save your charm cause it won't work with me. You're the heir to the Plinth fortune, my brother's replacement, so there's no need to butter me up like a biscuit.”
“I'm not trying to butter you up, darling.” Coriolanus told you, his voice smooth like velvet, as his long fingers wrapped themselves around your chin. Turning your head; making you look at him, he swore, “I'm not trying to replace your brother, Y/N.” Coriolanus' long, cold as ice, fingers gently stroked your chin. “I never expected that Strabo would reward me for being Sejanus' best friend by naming me heir; buying my family's building, and moving his family into the floor beneath my penthouse, but he did.”
You smacked his hand away, only to turn your head back to the window. “Save your lies for someone gullible enough to believe them.”
“Y/N-”, Coriolanus started, concern and confusion reflecting in his baby blues, while reaching out for you.
You didn't let him finish whatever he was going to say. Scooting away from him, and bumping your shoulder into the wall the window settee was next to, you scoffed, “Don't act like you care about me when you don't. You never seemed to notice me before, but now that Sej’s dead and you've managed to replace him in my parents' lives you suddenly know I exist.” Refusing to look at him, you carried on with, “You don't need me to have tea with you or fake giggle at whatever you say, Coriolanus. You're the heir, not me. My parents love you, not me.” You felt tears begin to tickle the brim of your eyes as you bitterly spat out, in a near whisper, “If anyone should be kissing anyone's ass it should be me. I should be kissing your ass for a piece of the Plinth family fortune, for a place in my own family.”
Coriolanus’ brows furrowed as your words washed over him. Were things really that bad between you and your parents? Sejanus rarely talked about you, other than to complain like a typical older brother does, but he thought he would've mentioned some kind of rift between you and your parents. Sejanus had no problems telling Coriolanus about how he was a disappointment to Strabo, because of his views, so why wouldn't he have said anything about your issues with your parents?
He's seen how warm and loving of a mother Ma is with you, surely your feelings of rejection can't be because of her. Were they because of your father? Did you fear that you weren't good enough because Strabo named him heir of your family's fortune?
Yes, that had to be it.
“I'm sorry that you're upset about Strabo naming me heir; replacing Sejanus and overlooking you.” Coriolanus apologized for something he had no hand in. Well, in a way he did have a hand in it since it was him selling out Sejanus that got him hanged for reason and in turn made Strabo name him heir to the Plinth family. But Coriolanus refused to take ownership of his part in it, in taking your inheritance. To him, well, it wasn't his fault your father chose to name him heir.
After months of trying to get you to notice him, Coriolanus has grown quite obsessed with you. He needs your attention. He has to have you see him as more than a parasite that's living off your family's fortune. Coriolanus needs you to see him as somebody to be with.
Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. Yes, it was a brilliant way to win you over, make you notice him and want to be around him.
“How about I talk to Strabo, see if he could perhaps make us split heirs? Would that settle your worries; make you see me as a friend?” Coriolanus offered, thinking that it'd make you like him.
“Talk to him all you want, Coriolanus, but you'll just be wasting your breath. You've got a cock and I got a cunt, my father's never going to name me split heir of the Plinth family fortune with you because I'm not worthy of it.” You bluntly remarked, not caring anymore if you sound rude or uncouth.
Coriolanus just blinked at your words. Well, he wasn't expecting you to tell him that. Now, that explains why you avoid him. You're lonely and resentful due to Sejanus' death and his sudden appearance on your family.
Looks like he’ll just have to make you split heir another way…
“I didn't know that Strabo named me heir, bypassing you, because you're a woman.” The platinum haired man honestly told you. “I understand why you can't stand me now, and I must say I'm glad it's not because you can't stand the way that I smell.”
You just shook your head, feeling empty now that you've gotten a few things off of your chest. Daring to look at Coriolanus, you confessed, “You don't smell bad, Coriolanus. In fact, the rose scent works for you.”
“You smell like fresh blueberries, darling.” He complimented, a wide and charming smile plastered on his face. “Why don't you call me Coryo.” The platinum blonde suggested, his baritone friendly as his icy blue eyes sparkled.
“I'll call you Coryo, but that doesn't mean we're best friends or anything like that now.”
“Of course not, darling.” Coryo chuckled. “I still have to walk thru fire to win you over, don't I?” He jokingly asked, making you let out a tiny laugh.
Coryo’ll take whatever you want to give him. He's desperate for you to want him, to need him. He's obsessed with you; maybe it's not healthy, but he just wants to make you smile. He wants to make you happy and laugh.
Coryo Snow might have started out wanting to win you over to prove a point, but after months of trying and failing he fell obsessively in love with your steadfast and stubborn nature. So now that you're cracking just a little bit for him, letting him chisel away at the stone which is guarding your heart, he's the happiest he's been in a while.
Looks like you made a liar out of him. Coriolanus swore to never fall in love again, but here he is, madly and obsessively in love with you to the point that he has to have you notice him. That just a tiny smile or giggle from you makes him feel like a king. And he's determined to make you see that you're his queen. That your place is by his side.
Coryo knows it'll take time to get you to fully trust him and fall for him, but he's a patient man. He can wait a long time for what he wants.
Sadly, he doesn't have much time left to woo you. But he doesn't know that.
Tumblr media
Your father walked by your room, on his way to his study (since he was expecting a visit from Coriolanus) only to see that your door was cracked open and that inside of your room, which should've been your safe haven; your sanctuary, you were sitting on the window settee with Coriolanus Snow- the two of you giggling and laughing.
That sight, the sight of you trying to get close to the Plinth family heir, made your father decide that you had to be married off and quickly. That there was no need for you to graduate from the Academy in 4 months, since your role in life's to be a wife and mother. That it was time for him to call up an old friend of his, a General that was a widower and the Commander of the Peacekeeper Base in District 2, to give him the approval for an arranged marriage between you and him.
Yes, your father, Strabo Plinth, will be marrying you off to General Prometheus Byzantine (a man old enough to be your father) before the first April shower hits the Capitol. And all because he doesn't want you anywhere near his heir, his company, and his fortune. All because you were born with a cunt and not a cock.
If only Strabo Plinth knew that Coriolanus is obsessed with you; wants you to look at him like the sun rises and sets on his ass. Maybe if he knew that his heir craved your attention like an addict craves morphling, he would've left well enough alone. Would've just let things play out.
But Strabo Plinth didn't know that the boy who smells like roses was obsessed with making the girl that smells like blueberries see him as somebody to have by her side.

❀ pairing: nerdy!wonbin x gn!reader
❀ genre: college au, suggestive, fluff
❀ word count: ~4.8k
❀ warnings: explicit language, alcohol consumption, suggestive themes, somewhat dialogue heavy, wonbin is slightly ooc, one heated kiss scene that kinda doesn’t end…oops?
❀ summary: Getting snowed in with your socially awkward project partner isn’t ideal. But maybe it is, when he’s as attractive as Park Wonbin. And who knows, maybe you’ll find yourself someone to keep you company until the snow melts.
❀ a/n: I have honestly never loved a fic concept more than this one! I hope you all love it as much as all do. As always, likes, reblogs, and replies are appreciated and encouraged. Happy reading!
Tumblr media
Deep eyes remain trained on a space outside the window, their darkness absorbing the stark whiteness of the snow. At this point, it has covered everything, leaving the entire town blanketed in white. You can only see his profile, but the white reflects beautifully in the rich brown of his eyes, doubly projected onto the lenses of his glasses. You wish you had your sketchpad, hoping to capture even a small portion of his beauty. A drawing wouldn’t even begin to compare, though.
“It’s still snowing,” Wonbin says, smiling sheepishly.
He turns to you for the first time in a few minutes, eyes now sparkling with the reflection of your interior lights rather than the freshly fallen snow. He’s still breathtaking, a fact that you’ve never been quite able to get over since meeting him. To think that he was sitting in the front row of the class, left by himself for the year end project…it must have been fate. It must have been a higher power that turned his wide eyes to land on yours while a soft blush bloomed on his tan cheeks.
It must have been fate when your professor noticed that you two were the only ones left without partners. It must have been fate when the first time Wonbin came over to start on the project, snow began to fall. At first it was simply light flurries, not enough to stick. But after an hour, the snow began to come down in blankets, blocking all entrances and exits, leaving all public transportation stuck in place.
It must be a higher power that has you snowed in your apartment with the most attractive man you’ve ever seen.
“I’m so sorry for intruding like this,” Wonbin mutters as he adjusts his glasses on the bridge of his nose. “If I had known it was going to be this much snow, I would have suggested another day to work on the project.”
Thank god he didn’t.
“Don’t apologize,” you reassure from your spot on the couch. “You can’t control the weather. And besides, it gives us plenty of time to work on the project. Who knows, maybe this is a sign that we should be friends or something!”
Wonbin seems confused by your remarks, a familiar blush beginning to dust his cheeks. “Friends?”
The man’s confusion doesn’t quite come as a shock to you. Although you had never really seen him before being paired together in class, it was obvious that Wonbin was more of a loner. All you knew was that he had a roommate, Eunseok, which is why you suggested your own place for the project. His social skills were…questionable, to say the least, so it doesn’t surprise you that he’s hesitant to lean into the label of friends. Although, you’d be lying if you said that was all that you wanted from him.
To say that Wonbin is attractive is an understatement; he’s nothing short of absolutely gorgeous. His long, dark hair constantly falls forward to conceal his wide, dark eyes, forever framed by his thick-rimmed glasses. His mouth remained enticingly pink, full lips slightly chapped from his habit of biting them and the harsh winter cold. Despite his habit of shrinking into spaces, it’s clear that his shoulders are impossibly broad, tapering into a thin waist that could only be maintained through hours at the gym.
Even now, as the man stands with his hands politely clasped behind his back, it’s impossible not to notice the subtle flex of his triceps underneath his short sleeve tee shirt. Never had you been more thankful for the man wearing layers, all because he simply runs warm. You can’t help but wonder if his skin would be hot to the touch, if close proximity would warm you to your core.
“Yeah,” you smile. “We can be friends! I mean, we should get to know each other a bit anyways. That might make the project more bearable.”
Wonbin seems to mull the suggestion over for a second before he breaks out into a wide smile. “Yeah, let’s be friends.”
It’s hard not too coo at the prominent apples of his cheeks, painted that faint pink that seems to permanently color Wonbin’s face. You have rarely seen the man smile. Normally, he seems nothing short of absolutely miserable, forever closed off and not sparing anyone a second glance. But something about the genuine excitement swimming in his eyes has a pleasant warmth blooming in your gut.
“Why don’t you come sit down,” you pat the space next to you on your worn couch. “It seems like we’re going to be here for a while. Wine?”
Wonbin’s smile grows impossibly wider. “Yeah, wine sounds good.”
The rosé is crisp on your tongue when you finally settle back into the couch. Wonbin seems to be enjoying it as well, despite his overly stiff body language. He remains rigid on the opposite side of the couch, which is more like a loveseat, seemingly determined to keep as much physical space between you two as possible. It’s adorable, but you know that needs to change.
You let some time pass with both of you enjoying your wine and the music that you had put on earlier as a backtrack for studying. The studio apartment that you call home is small enough that the sound fills all four walls, the space forever feeling cozy. Wonbin seems to enjoy it as well, if the way his fingers tap out the beat on his thigh is anything to go by.
You imagined that it would be awkward between the two of you, as Wonbin doesn’t seem to do the best in social situations. But the man seems content to sit in relative quiet, just enjoying the music. It isn’t until the both of you are about halfway into your second glasses that you speak again.
“So, what do you like to do for fun?”
Wonbin seems a little surprised as he turns to you, as if not expecting to do much talking at all.
“I like playing video games. I also like to go to the gym with Eunseok and some of his friends sometimes.” The man’s nose scrunches as he thinks for a moment. “Oh! And I really like to play the guitar.”
You can’t help the way your eyes flit down to his hands, taking in the way his fingers wrap around the stem of his wine glass. He clearly has a few callouses, fingertips rough from years of plucking guitar strings. A few prominent veins run down from his forearm and stretch through his hands, indicating a subtle strength behind his grip. Suddenly, your core feels warm, and you’re sure that the wine is not to blame.
You clear your throat roughly before responding. “That’s so cool!”
Wonbin’s eyes seem to sparkle when he turns them to you. “Really?”
“Yeah, I mean. I’m sure it’s a hit with the ladies, men, whoever you date.”
“Oh, well…” A pout begins to form on Wonbin’s lips, his seemingly permanent blush spreading to the tips of his ears. “I haven’t really dated anyone before.”
It shouldn’t come as a shock to you, but it does. Wonbin’s undoubtedly attractive, and on a campus as big as yours, you’re sure that someone would snatch him up if they got the chance. But with his quiet, awkward demeanor, you’re not surprised that he hasn’t quite let anyone. In an odd way, the news makes you a little giddy.
“Really?” You raise an eyebrow. “You haven’t dated anyone? Like not even a situationship?”
“Situationship?”
Wonbin’s evident confusion is extremely endearing, but startling nonetheless. Has he really never experienced romance before? It seems impossible, but with the way he worries his bottom lip between his teeth, there seems to be no other explanation.
You sigh, taking a long swig of your wine before responding. “Yeah, it’s like, a mutual crush but you never actually date.”
“Oh, then no.” Wonbin’s flush deepens, almost impossibly so, the wine and embarrassment creating a beautiful combination on his face. “I mean, I’ve had crushes before. But they’ve never liked me back, I don’t think…”
Wonbin’s voice trails off into a soft whisper, his eyes growing glassier behind his clear lenses. It’s clear that the boy doesn’t seem uncomfortable admitting his lack of experience, the wine probably doing wonders for his confidence. But he still seems shy, secretive, refusing to meet your gaze as if eye contact would reveal something—too much, maybe.
It’s impossible not to wonder what kind of secrets lay hidden behind Wonbin’s meek exterior. You wonder if he becomes a different person entirely when he relaxes. When the glasses come off and the shy demeanor dissipates, who exactly is Park Wonbin? And why do you feel like you’d want him no matter what?
“Wait, so how—?” You cut your own question off by clapping a hand over your mouth. “I’m so sorry! I just realized I’m being so intrusive. I didn’t mean to interrogate you, I swear!”
A soft smile blooms on Wonbin’s face, never faltering as he drains the contents of his second glass. “It’s okay.”
“No, no, it’s not! Here, ask me something…or a few things. That way we can call it even.”
“Oh, I don’t need to do that. I promise it’s okay.”
“No, seriously,” you insist. “We can even make a game out of it! Like 21 questions or something.”
The look of confusion on the man’s face tells you everything you need to know. Sure, the game is somewhat outdated, but it’s still a classic. And as a man in his twenties, you had at least expected the man to have participated in a way too sexual game of 21 questions. It was like a rite of passage! But Wonbin seems to be full of surprises.
“It’s basically a game where you just ask each other questions back and forth that the other person has to answer.”
Wonbin cocks his head cutely. “What if I don’t want to answer?”
“Then you don’t answer,” you shrug. “Some people play where you have to drink if you don’t want to answer, but we don’t have to do that.”
Surprisingly, Wonbin’s eyes light up with a newfound mischief at the explanation. It’s a stark contrast from the wide-eyed confusion that normally crosses his face, or the shy blush that continually colors his cheeks. Instead, he appears like a normal college student, for once, ready to take on a challenge. The look ignites something in your core that you force yourself to ignore.
“I think I want to do it that way. You know, where you drink and stuff!”
His excitement forces you to shrug, immediately grabbing the bottle of wine and splitting its contents between your two glasses. It seems like the alcohol has allowed Wonbin to relax a little bit, if the way he sinks into the couch is anything to go by. You struggle not to track the stretch of his biceps when one arm rests on the back of the loveseat, unintentionally putting you in his embrace.
Your voice comes out shaky despite your attempts to steel your nerves. “You ask first.”
“Uh…” Wonbin’s nose scrunches cutely as he thinks, clearly using every corner of his wine-tipsy brain to come up with a question. “Oh! What’s your favorite color?”
You can’t help but snort at the man’s generic question. It’s clear that he didn’t know the game, so he would have no idea what other things that question would lead to. For a moment, you consider telling Wonbin how that question always leads down a rabbit hole of debauchery. But you can’t bring yourself to dampen the innocent glisten in his eye.
“It’s green, but not like a light green or a lime color. I like a good, deep, forest green.”
Wonbin hums, seemingly satisfied by your thoughtful answer. “Okay, your turn.”
“What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done?”
“Gotten a tattoo,” Wonbin answers immediately.
You’re sure your eyes are popping out of your head. You expected his answer to be something akin to getting a bad grade on a test or attending a shady party, but this is on a whole new level. Subconsciously, your eyes roam his form, trying to get a peek of ink, wherever it is. When you can’t seem to find any, you can’t control your follow up question.
“Where is it?”
Wonbin smiles cheekily, rosy cheeks deepening in color. “It’s not your turn anymore.”
As the game progresses, the two of you sink into comfort. It’s easy to trade questions and swap answers like it’s nothing, only a few questions causing either of you to drink. You learn that Wonbin gets giggly as he gets tipsier, lips bitten into a deep cherry shade that matches the flush on his cheeks. It would be cute, if it weren’t for the way his eyes bore holes into your face, the man suddenly no longer scared to maintain eye contact.
You wonder if this is an act, a persona that Wonbin puts on to win over whoever he’s interested in. It would make sense: act shy and innocent, find a way to hang out, slowly let his confidence begin to show over a few drinks and shared laughter. But then there’s all those little moments that betray the confident aura that the liquor has bathed him in.
At one point, Wonbin attempts to drink from his cup a little too quickly, the glass clashing against his teeth and causing him to wince. At another, he gets so excited about his love for guitars that he starts rambling, fumbling over his speedy words as he tries to include you in his interest. It’s endearing, and so incredibly genuine that you can’t doubt for a second that this is him. Once again, you find yourself wondering how a man like this could be single.
“Your turn,” Wonbin chirps before taking another sip of his wine. You’re surprised he’s been able to make it last so long.
“Hmm,” you ponder dramatically, tapping your index finger against your chin in a way that makes Wonbin giggle. “How old were you when you had your first kiss?”
The man freezes. His hand remains hovering awkwardly above the coffee table, about to place his wine glass down. He slowly turns to you, eyes wide and face scrunched in a permanent wince. You simply blink back at him, not sure why the question would elicit such a reaction.
It takes Wonbin a second before he’s able to snap out of it, letting out a breath. He finally places his glass on the table before shooting you a sheepish smile. It seems like second nature when his hand comes to scratch at the long hairs at the nape of his neck.
“I, uh,” the man flounders for a bit, clearly racking his brain in hopes that his next sentence will magically appear. “I haven’t had my first kiss yet.”
Park Wonbin really is full of surprises.
You guess that the information shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to you, considering all of the other things that he hadn’t experienced. But you still expected the man to have some experience. Hell, even having a peck in elementary school is more expected than never kissing anyone.
Despite the way that Wonbin lets out a soft chuckle, it’s clear that the admission makes him somewhat uncomfortable. His body is stiff in the loveseat, despite the way he tries to feign nonchalance. He can’t seem to keep his gaze on yours, looking anywhere else but at you.
You hate it, the way one simple question has altered the vibe of your entire interaction. Things had been going so well, the two of you getting along much better than expected. But of course, your big mouth had to ruin it. Curiosity must have truly killed the cat, because Wonbin looks like he’d rather be six feet under than sitting next to you.
A quick glance towards the window reveals that the snow is still coming down heavily, with no signs of stopping soon. It’s clear that Wonbin will still have to be here for another few hours, at the least, so discomfort is not an option. You just sigh, placing a reassuring hand on Wonbin’s thigh.
“Hey, that’s nothing to be embarrassed about,” you soothe. “I’m sorry, though. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”
Wonbin shakes his head, still refusing to meet your eyes. “I’m not…you didn’t…it’s fine, really. I should have just drank instead of answering. That’s how you play the game, right?”
You don’t buy the man’s unbothered act, especially as his thigh muscle remains tense under your touch. Before you can respond, Wonbin pipes up again, words coming out in a rush.
“I mean it’s not a big deal anyways. Like I’ve just never had the chance to do it, you know? It’s not like I’m saving it for anyone special or anything. It just hasn’t really come up. And I feel like it doesn’t have to be so serious. I’m sure my time will come soon.”
As the man rambles, you can’t help but watch the movement of his mouth. His lips look so full where they curve around each syllable, perfectly pink and slightly glossy from saliva. Every now and then, you get a peek of his perfectly white teeth; you can’t help but wonder how they would feel sinking into the flesh of your own lips.
“Wonbin,” you call softly.
The boy doesn’t seem to hear you, still caught up in his ramblings.
“Wonbin,” you repeat, louder this time.
It still doesn’t seem to be enough, the man clearly lost in his own explanations.
“You can kiss me!” You blurt. When the man turns wide eyes towards you, you immediately begin to backtrack. “I mean, only if you want to.”
Wonbin flounders for a moment, his mouth stuck in a helpless cycle between open and closed. You brace yourself for the impact of rejection, silently cursing at how you’ve killed the vibe once again. With the ongoing snow, you know you’ll have to bear the awkwardness for at least a few more hours.
“I want to.”
What?
“What?”
Wonbin’s no longer looking at you, instead staring at where he’s picking at the loose threads of his ripped jeans.
“I want to,” he mumbles softly. “I want to kiss you, but only if you mean it. I get it if it was a joke or something, though.”
Your heart breaks at the thought of what Wonbin’s been through, no doubt having been teased during his growing years. But you can’t imagine how anyone would joke about wanting to kiss him when that’s all you’ve wanted to do since you first laid eyes on him.
“Yeah…I mean, no! I’m not joking,” you rush out. “I mean, you said you never had the opportunity, so what better time than the present?”
Wonbin nods, still unable to meet your gaze. “Yeah, you’re right.”
Despite the icy chill of the winter weather, it suddenly feels one hundred degrees hotter in your apartment. Although you and Wonbin are seated at opposite ends of the loveseat, the space between you feels almost nonexistent. If you just shifted a bit to the right, you would be able to make the contact that you so desperately crave.
“So,” Wonbin starts after a moment of silence, “um, what should I do?”
For a second, you pause, wondering how exactly you should go about this. It’s Wonbin’s first kiss. There’s an immense pressure to make it great, perfect even. When you think back on your own first kiss, it was anything but, which just deepens your desire to make this everything he has ever dreamed of.
The liquid courage that your glasses of wine have given you allows you to slide into Wonbin’s lap. You try to ignore the way that the man instantly tenses, reminding yourself that this is normal for a first time.
“Is this okay?” You whisper, almost nose to nose with the man.
Wonbin swallows thickly before nodding, hands hovering awkwardly in the air. At his confirmation, you allow yourself to relax into your position, thighs cast on either side of his hips. Like this, you can see the faint freckles that dot Wonbin’s face, some hidden by the thick frames of his glasses. He’s gorgeous, you notice, not for the first time.
The music is still playing softly in the background, a calm R&B melody flooding the small space. It’s cozy, slowly melting your discomfort away. Wonbin seems lost though, hands twitching where they hover aimlessly. You can’t help but smile at the display of nerves, choosing to soothe them by placing them on your hips. Wonbin’s fingers flex and then relax, slowly gaining confidence where they hold you.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” You ask.
“Yeah, I—,” Wonbin swallows heavily. “Please.”
You ignore the sharp flutter that rushes through your stomach, instead wrapping your arms around his shoulders. You can feel the longer strands of his hair tickle the skin of your forearms, soft and delicate. Wonbin’s eyes flicker down to your lips, once, twice, before he goes back to meeting your gaze.
“Tell me if you want to stop, okay?”
All you get is a quick nod before you’re leaning in and placing a chaste peck on his lips. It’s nothing special, just a soft meeting of lips, but it feels electric. You pull away with a soft sigh, lamenting the fact that it was over all too quickly. Wonbin is slow to open his eyes, blinking at you slowly.
“How was th—,”
You don’t get to finish your sentence before Wonbin’s lips are on yours once again. It’s firmer this time, his lips more insistent where they blanket yours. The grip on your hips tightens as Wonbin tilts his head, deepening the kiss ever so slightly. It’s still fairly modest, but the feeling of him against you has goosebumps erupting on your skin. The kiss only lasts a second longer than the first, but you feel doubly breathless when the two of you part.
“Was that good?” Wonbin asks, dark eyes sparkling behind glasses that are slightly askew.
You don’t trust your voice at the moment, choosing the answer his question with a simple nod of the head. The confirmation has a bright smile blooming on the man’s face, his fingers pressing more firmly into your hips.
“Can I kiss you again?”
This time, you can’t stop yourself from leaning forward, pulling the man directly into a liplock. Wonbin seems to have gained a bit of confidence, tilting his head to the side as his lips move against yours. He even goes as far as to trace his tongue along the seam of your mouth, somewhat smiling when you grant him entrance.
Wonbin’s kiss is nothing like you expected. While he lacks some finesse, he still kisses you breathless, lips moving smoothly against yours. Even as you both are properly making out, he seems to keep up with your demands, copying your movements every so often. He’s a quick learner, making up for what he lacks in experience with enthusiasm.
The two of you part with an obscene wet sound, your shared saliva making Wonbin’s lips glisten. He looks properly fucked out from just a bit of kissing. His glasses sit askew on his nose, hair tousled from where your fingers were playing with dark strands. It makes your imagination run wild. If this is how he looks after making out, how would he look after he—?
You clear your throat as an attempt to snap out of your daze. Carefully, you untangle yourself from Wonbin’s lap, immediately missing the heat of his skin on yours. Wonbin seems to miss it, too, if the way his hands begin to play with the fabric of his jeans again is anything to go by. After a moment, he straightens out his glasses and takes a deep breath.
“So,” you start, breaking the tense silence. “How was that for your first kiss?”
Wonbin sighs, staring at an unspecified point in the apartment. “It was good. Really good.”
You can’t help the soft chuckle you let out at the man’s honesty, helplessly endeared. It’s a wonder how the man can go from the sole object of your desire to the target of your cuteness aggression so quickly. It’s refreshing, but also dangerous in the way it makes your heart squeeze in your chest.
Wonbin still looks dazed when he finally turns to you, cheeks painted with a fresh flush. He seems oddly nervous, more nervous than one should be in the presence of someone they just made out with.
“Can I tell you something?” He blurts.
The outburst startles you, but the determination in his dark eyes piques your curiosity. When you give an affirmative hum, the man sighs, seemingly hyping himself up before he speaks.
“I think I like you.” He seems disappointed in his own admission, brows furrowing cutely as he rushes to correct himself. “I mean, I know I like you. Like, more than just a project partner. I have a crush on you.”
Your heart sinks at the confession. Of course Wonbin would be convinced that he has a crush on the person he shared his first kiss with. The combination of the wine and the smooth music hasn’t helped either, likely clouding his head with a vision of romance that he doesn’t truly believe in. As much as you’d like to believe it’s real, you know that this is just a result of circumstance.
“Wonbin,” you sigh, trying to ignore the way he lights up at the simple call of his name. “I think you’re just saying that. I mean, a first kiss can really change your perception of someone.”
“What?”
You run a hand through your hair, fighting the disappointment that sinks in your core. “I’m just saying that you probably don’t actually have a crush on me. I think it’s the emotions of the kiss, the wine, the close proximity, you know, all that stuff.”
Wonbin looks utterly confused. “I had a crush on you before I kissed you though. Even before I came over here today, I thought you were pretty.”
Now it’s your turn to be confused. “What?”
“I thought it was my lucky day when we got paired up. I mean, I knew you would never notice me otherwise.”
“You mean…”
“I’m happy my first kiss was with you,” Wonbin admits, smiling softly. “But I would have been ridiculously into you even if I didn’t get to kiss you. Even if I never got to kiss you! I mean you’re just so pretty and smart and I love when the professor calls on you because you always know the answer and your voice sounds so nice in the morning, but it’s sometimes so distracting that…”
“Wonbin,” you call.
“I feel like I lose my focus in the class, which is part of why I sit in the front because I knew that if I could see you I would never be able to pay attention, which sucks because I don’t want to ruin my GPA, but…”
“Wonbin!”
You’re able to put a stop to the boy’s rambling by cupping his face, fighting a coo at the way his plush cheeks squish together. His mouth is left in a forced pucker, lips enticing you for a kiss. This time, you don’t resist.
“I like you, too,” you admit once you pull away, “as more than a project partner.”
Wonbin is silent for a moment, blinking rapidly behind his thick lenses. It seems to take a second for his brain to come back online, but when it does, his face blooms into a squished smile.
“Does that mean you’ll be my second kiss, too?”
Your own chuckle surprises you, forcing you to release Wonbin’s face from your grasp. You don’t bother to fight your giggles, happy to notice that Wonbin has joined in on your laughter.
“I’m pretty sure we’re beyond two kisses, but yes, Wonbin. That means I’ll be your second kiss. And if you play your cards right, I’ll be there for many more kisses after that.”
Wonbin smiles, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose with his index finger. “I wish I could kiss you forever, until all that snow out there melts and forever after that.”
You can’t help but lean forward, placing a quick peck on Wonbin’s lips.
“There, that was another one. I guess we still have a long way to go until the snow melts.”
Wonbin traps his bottom lip between his teeth, gaze stuck on your mouth. “I guess we better get started, then.”
