(Slight L & Co spoilers but nothing too plot relevant so it’s probably fine)

Hc that after wearing blue socks instead of pink to the Fittes Ball to match with Lucy, Lockwood starts constantly trying to match his socks to her outfit because they are a PROFESSIONAL agency thank you very much and he will NOT be seen clashing with his fellow agents plus he’s v in love with Lucy and thought it would be cute if they matched. If Lucy is wearing a colour that doesn’t match pink then he Will Not Be Caught Dead with pink socks on. If she’s wearing green he will wear green socks. Purple? You bet he has a purple pair stashed away somewhere.

Thing is, Lucy starts to catch on. And while she does think it’s adorable, she will purposely start to mess with him. She’ll be wearing a nice blue sweater and Lockwood will be happily matching his socks but then he’ll turn around and SHE’S TAKEN THE SWEATER OFF TO REVEAL A BRIGHT RED SHIRT UNDERNEATH. WHAT IS THIS. Lucy and George are laughing their asses off and Lockwood is trying not to have an aneurysm because His Agents Are Not Being Very Cooperative.

MCL NewGen Ep 7 Commentary

Since there's a lot to cover I think it's for the best doing a full post, so under the cut you go~

First thing first, I have actually liked it, a lot. The whole fake dating situation is hilarious, as the continuous teasing between Candy and Mr. Mendal. In some points it kinda took a toll on me and I had to physically stop the game, get up and go taking a walk around the house because the second-hand embarassement was really something, but despite everything it was enjoyable.

I read some players didn't like the fact it was way shorter than the others but I didn't really mind it. It had everything I expected and even more. Nonetheless I have to agree with the ending, it could have been a little lesser rushed but as for the things were unfolding on Jason's route, that was for the best. I liked how Candy rushed out of the apartment without a caring in the world, leaving Jason and the realtor discussing in there lol

I won't spend a lot of words on how Candy "decided" it was the right moment to move out, I understand she wants her autonomy and indipendence but the Tasha's sketch wasn't a good example. If such a scene had happened in irl, it would have had a different ending. Certainly my mother wouldn't have defended her knowing that I would have to go to work while my sibling is messing around, trying some TikTok trend in the only bathroom of the mansion. But alas that's how they do it in the Dolga's household and, as a consequence, Candy has to wash herself in the kitchen sink... I feel for you love :/

Anyway, leaving this nonsense aside, the whole visit to the apartment was a nice, peculiar emotional rollercoaster. Starting with a Jason who blindly agrees to pretend to be our fianceè, to a Candy who has to pretend to be his mistress. Damn, Jason really? You didn't have any other ideas in that pretty head of yours? What were the chances...

And so begins the banter between the two, with a pinch of sexual references. At the beginning, they were funny, ngl — I was a bit shocked to hear such innuendos from Jason already, but that's fine, I'm not complaining AT ALL.

However, the problem was their excessive repetition, and given the context, they were totally out of pocket rip realtor who had to witness this whole charade, I would ask for a raise for the hours wasted with these two

As they say, the joke's gone far enough and Candy, after being humiliated for the thousandth time, goes apeshit with JayJay. I really appreciated when she dropped the act and demanded some respect. Knowing her backstory it's obvious that hearing all those mean things and having to play the role of the mistress, even if only for pretend, brought her sorrow and unpleasant memories Ioan when I catch you, you filthy worm >:(

Unfortunately, Jason doesn't realize the gravity of the situation he created and continues to tease her until Candy finally bursts into tears and tells him about her past with Ioan. I loved how as soon as she tells him, his expression completely changes, and he suddenly slips into the who did this to you trope.

I mean- LOOK AT HIS FACE, LOOK AT THE SUDDEN CHANGE OF EXPRESSION WHEN HE HEARS ABOUT IT UGHSKJSNKA I LOVE HIM SM AGENT

And so we get the special scene. I think it's one of my favorites; it's the first time we see Jason being so distressed and regretful while apologizing to Candy and carefully wiping her tears. BEAUTIFUL.

I love when my men beg for forgiveness.

After the special scene Candy cheers up, even if still pissed at Jason, decides to forgive him because, quoting her verbatim, she "doesn't want to stay angry with him indefinitely" oh dear you're also so down bad

Also, it seems that Jason already knew Ioan's last name, and it also seems that he wants to make him pay. I'm totally in for whatever form of revenge you pick dear, 'cause he deserves it. A bummer though that my Goldreamz and EPMC collab headcanon will remain only a mere headcanon :(

The episodes ends with the poor, traumatised realtor kicking us out of the apartment and Jason, who is trying to talk business with him (maybe he wants to pay her back for ruining the visit and giving her a second chance to rent the apartment?), while Candy is running out with tail between her legs, ready to start the afternoon work shift. 🙃

What an eventful lunch break it has been, uh?

Anyhow, the next ep leaves me confused?? Although I don't like Roy and I don't want to know anything about his weird swimming practices — I'm curious in how they're going to include Jason with such a peculiar plot. 🤔

2/3 of the way through The Whispering Skull. Enjoying it more than I did the first few times I read the books through which has been really nice!

- the group really are just. scared teenagers once carver dies on their doorstep. its pure terror, especially from george, and its an awful thing to go through. especially with how barnes reacts like i dont care that theyre agents these kids havent witnessed a man bleed out on their doorstep before RECOMMEND THEM THERAPY.

- i want the winkmans to explode i hate every time any of them are on screen i hate how casually violent julius winkman is i want to punt his shitty little son. his wife seems like the kind of woman who would confront me in a public bathroom about my gender because of my jaw shape or some shit. nasty fucking people.

- I completely forgot George snuck along the skull to the investigation of Bickerstaffs house. King behaviour. OH LOCKWOOD KNEW. OH LOCKWOOD TOLD HIM TO. Bro Lucy being mad is kinda fair

- Everything about that house is so... gross. It's like all the dissections and taking apart of bodies has become a part of it. All the stripped walls

- Love Kipps' team and the main crew having to work together. Also love Lucy pulling their heads in and stopping them from brawling in an actively haunted house of horror.

- Kat being described as so pallid shes grey from the psychic noise getting to her is interesting because we dont get much description about how Listeners look when theyre using their powers, because of course the Listener of the team is Lucy, and she's the narrator. It's nice insight into how the body changes when in the presence of ghost phenomena compared to those with Sight, who get frozen up and more alert but aren't necessarily as drained like those with Touch and Listening.

- All of them getting squashed in a tiny iron circle so tight George can smell and genuinely compliment Kipps on his cologne is so fucking funny. Same with his genuine "Oh, thanks." Response. They would get along so well if they weren't always at each others throats. I am so badly looking forward to him joining the team.

- Fucking Ned Shaw ruining it all blocking the teams exit starting a fight GOD I'll write my little thingy come the next book after his death but hes such a frustrating character in so many ways it just leaves me sad.

- Quill just booking it leaving his team behind. Christ this team is a mess. Genuinely don't know how he wasn't fired in his last few years at the agency. Like. This is probably how all those kids on his team died. Only reason Bobby didn't croak is cos Lockwood got him the hell out of there.

- WILBERFORCES GHOST IS MY FAV IN THE SERIES like the way its made up of rats.... looks like a victorian gentleman then disintegrates into rats leaving his gnawed bloody bones behind... Fucking COOL AS HELL

- Shaw being made to stand outside L&Cos house. No sleep, takeaway coffee, in tattered clothes. Good. Punishment for being Ultimate Dickhead.

- I can't believe I didn't remember that the first time George sees Flo, he mistakes her for a gnarled, filthy ghost, dragged from some muddy grave, clawing at the window while its broad daylight. And when Flo first sees George, shes gently tapping the window trying to get the teams attention, and watches him jump up, launching his chair in fright, hit the mops behind him and then begin slapping them away thinking them assailants. And then they fall in love. 10/10.

- Lockwood giving Lucy a bloody silver link necklace with a diamond pendant in the middle YOU LIKE HER. YOUUUU LIKE HER

Next up is the Fittes party, robbing the library in the Fittes building and then robbing Winkman's auction all in one night. These 14 yr olds are off the shits.

Random thoughts about Ninjago DR S2 part 2 (first three episodes)

THE ADMINISTRATION! AGENT WALKER MENTION! Ugh, but if only Arin and Sora had mentioned him in front of the others!

The two of them acted more like actual ninjas in that first minute sneaking around than I think any of the OG ninja have done in 17 seasons lol.

For some reason that "dispel the vapor!" joke made me laugh hard.

Lloyd in the opening using rising dragon technique instead of Kai is both cool and sad at the same time🥲

Not really digging Wyldfyre's new hair style.

Kinda weird how Cole is nowhere to be seen in the first episode and only Zane is shown to have been training with the dragon masters.

Oh and he's gonna be the boyfriend/love interest of Wyldfyre the writers talked about huh? (Way to make that obvious.) That's... odd. Too early to judge the ship of course but it's a little strange to see Wyfy swooning over this type of guy (much less that she would swoon over anyone really).

NEW Master of Shade??? WHAT! What about, you know, Shade? He was cool! He was part of the resistance! Lego stop replacing the old characters for no reason!!

And of all the EM's to keep and bring back, you kept invisible man guy? Um excuse me, what about Karloff and Neuro? IF YOU REPLACE THEM I WON'T FORGIVE YOU!

Speaking of, where the FRICK is Skylor???? Like if you don't want her on the show (YET) at least give her a mention or something?? Or explain why she's not there? Seriously, wouldn't the ninja at least wonder if they might run into her?

Or JAY FOR THAT MATTER??? Ugh it bugs me so much that aside from Nya asking Lloyd about Jay in season 1, none of the OG ninja ever ask or wonder about the ones who were missing, or ever make it an objective of theirs to find each other.

I know nothing has really happened yet, but SHEESH Cole and Zane feel like they're just THERE. These characters used to have more of a presence even when they didn't have something to do. Honestly I think the cast has just gotten too big for the writers to know what to do with, which is why they keep putting at least one or two of them (usually Zane *grumbles*) in timeout.

OH BABY LET'S HAVE A THINK I'LL TRY TO BRAIN A SOMETHIN FOR ALL THOSE WONDERFUL OLD PEOPLE. under cut for length and spoilers

Otto: I'm so with everyone who's like "oh he's so sus and fucked up wait no actually he's normal wait no he's so fucked up". I think his brain is probably a mess but like in a way where he's able to function from day to day. I feel like maybe he's also the kind of guy who like... how to put it. He sometimes has a hard time remembering that just because he's passionate about and invested in something, doesn't mean everyone else around him is going to be equally as passionate and invested. (Especially after the Psychic 7 started splitting apart and having their own issues - hard to pull him back down to earth when you're too busy having your own breakdown.) I also really like the idea of him being at least part-Grulovian and having met Lucy when they were much younger, hence being in contact with her when they started the Psychonauts.

Ford: That man bi and he and Otto are Divorced (they never married) (they barely dated) (they're divorced) (they're still dating). Now that I write it out I think maybe he only had pretty casual relationships until Lucy. It feels like she was maybe the first and last person he really considered Settling Down with - all the more reason for him to be hit so hard by losin' her. I also love the idea of him eventually trying to become a mentor to Frazie, specifically because she seems to have teleportation powers and I feel like he'd want to hand down his unique power and help her refine that, which would be funny because she seems to resent him more than any of the other Aquatos.

Bob: I always interpret him as having lived in the Gulch before the Psychonauts were even a thing - that was just his family home, eventually Ford and Otto and Lucy moved in, he started talking to them and that was that. (I think it'd be funny if he was like, their local food supplier when they started crashing in the woods, he just kinda knew them as regulars who'd buy a crate or two of veggies every week or so, and eventually he and Otto got to talking and what the fuck Otto realizes he's a psychic and the rest is history.) I also really like the idea of Truman visiting him in the Gulch a lot growing up - this is a bit of a tangent but I like the idea of Truman pushing to found Whispering Rock and/or the Intern program when he became Grand Head specifically because of his fond memories of visiting the Gulch and developing his powers under the tutelage of the Psychic 7.

Compton: I really like interpretations where he like - kind of mutually separated from his partner on good terms. (Maybe even did it in part so his Accidental Violent Escapades slash new life in the woods doing psychic research wouldn't have a negative impact on his kid(s).) By the same token this started out halfway as a joke but I like interpreting the lady running the cafeteria at the Motherlobe as his daughter; she's got just the right combo of Sass + Eccentricity plus apparently ferrets at home, and it just feels right to me that Sam would have, like - a parent that's an employee but not an agent, y'know? If that's the case, I feel like she probably had a kinda distant relationship from him growing up (in large part due to him Fucking Off Into The Woods) but made an active effort to reconnect now that she's an adult and especially once she had her own kids.

Helmut: I think the poor guy really missed his calling with the Psychonauts shifting from spy & agent work more towards education (as we see with stuff like Whispering Rock & the Intern program & the apparent interest in kinda training/tutoring the Aquatos post-2). Like, in a world where he didn't get frozen, he'd probably running or at least working at Whispering Rock, putting on big psychic performances with the kiddos. (Granted, he would've had to have make it through the 20 years of spywork, which I think would have been tough for him.) Also I bet Quentin has like an ancient limited-press vinyl of his that sold like, 5 copies, and is Starstruck if he ever meets him and Helmut gets a HUGE kick out of that.

Cassie: LESBIAN!!!!!!!!!!! But ahem anyway where was I. I think one of the things she probably struggled with post-Grulovia (alongside uh. everything else. obviously) was probably, for lack of a better word, the like... legitimization of the Psychonauts? Like, much as she's very sweet and a natural mentor, Cassie's also rough around the edges; very much a do-what-you-gotta, anti-establishment type of gal. (love her for that.) I feel like suddenly having to work with The Government and go through official channels and be all organized and doing paperwork and reports and stuff probably rubbed her the long way and contributed to her feeling like she was getting left behind in the changes.

Lucy: This is all but text but like... I feel like Lucy probably had very mixed feelings about her decision to leave Grulovia. On the one hand, she got out of a place that was actively becoming more dangerous, out of a place where she was lonely and heartbroken after her husband's death, to this great new opportunity to use her powers and make lifelong friend and find a second chance at love with Ford. On the other hand, she had to leave behind a home she'd been in all her life and loved very much, in a time of great turmoil that she clearly feels she should have been able to do more about, and above all leaving behind her beloved sister. I wonder if maybe she tried to convince Marona to emigrate too and couldn't. I wonder if maybe part of what worsened her post-Astrolathe instability and made her suddenly rush back to Grulovia was that unconscious regret about leaving. Ain't no wonder she eventually broke, the poor thing.

Daemon

His entire existence in the show is about Viserys and to an extend Rhaenyra. I know many many many people enjoyed him in the show but meh, I blame the Matt Smith magic. He's just a beloved actor. Daemon in the show was drastically changed; he doesn't seem to have any ambition, he's a shitty father in every sense of the word, add terrible spouse to all three since none of the women play a role in his life because, as it's been confirmed he's kinda in love with his brother? If we ignore Ryan's bs, it's still hard not to see that daemon at best is always seeking his brother's attention like a kicked puppy and his "funny" moments are him acting like a clown... idk this character was George's favorite, and the old man didn't hide it. Daemon is the character you get the most stuff and info to work with so they don't even have the excuse "the book was vague" about it. They just wanted him to be loser in an agent-of-chaos way and it worked

Criston

Do I really need to say it? They took/ tranformed the creep who preyed on the princess and had the ambition as high as the sky into some "poor working knight" who princess sorta betrayed him? His whole thing with rhaenyra in the show is a mess and deserves a seperate post on its own but they rewrote this character to be some noble self sacrificing heartbroken man whose dedication to the queen isn't because he was spiteful over being rejected but because the queen "saved" him from offing himself. Not to mention, they made him fully dornish aka the quickest way to have team anti targ ride on his dick even though canonically he was simple born in the Stormlands and wasn't even poor. He was the son of a steward who served a highlord

Viserys

He was a flawed man in the book (definitely deserves some lashes) don't get me wrong. He forced Rhaenyra into a terrible marriage while ignoring the tension between her & alicent to have a happy marriage, he essentially caused Mysaria to miscarriage, and caused all the more misery to daemon and Rhaenyra who loved ones another because he didn't trust that said love.

With that being said, he's also a man who was willing to turn the blind eye for tons of other things daemon did. He loved his brother and that went unquestionable. I'd even boldly claim that he put daemon above rhaenyra before his "heir of the day" toast.

He loved all of his children one way or another; he adored the grandkids from both helaena and rhaenyra and seem to take the most joy in family moments.

Meanwhile show viserys is just a full of yikes. He willingly murdered his first wife, married his daughter's best friend because compared to the other bride (laena) she was old enough to carry a child, he was constantly berating rhaenyra, never acknowledged helaena's existence, the only time he turned to his grandson & sons was when they were fighting. And to add the cherry on top after decades of show alicent taking care of his rotting ass he still pins after his first wife - y'know the one he gave the ok to be butchered?

so yeah, all of these characters are day and night to the canon material and non of the changes brought any benefits or new perspectives to the story

Secret Agent: Smokescreen is an agent of some organization. Take your pick. A colony world trying to assess the state of the war, the remnants of the old Council of Cybertron trying to do the same thing. Heck, maybe even the lingering Primacy sent him to go and keep an optic on Optimus and grab the Matrix the moment he keels over.

Point is, he's there with an agenda and is WAY older than he looks. The fact that he looks young is why he was chosen for this mission, and he is in fact, very unhappy having to pretend to be young. Cue shenanigans as a middle aged mech struggles to relate to the youth and blend in long enough to complete his mission. Oh, and of course he accidently integrates into the Team family. Why wouldn't he?

Hidden in Plain Sight: There have been variations of this I've seen other people do. But here's my take. Smokescreen is Amalgamous Prime in disguise and either doesn't know or is fully aware. I personally think it would be funny if he did know and had to try really hard to not accidently mess up his appearance every two seconds. As for why he's there? Well SOMEONE had to go get the Allspark if Optimus failed. Yeah its not fully fleshed out but that's the idea. Cue shenanigans.

Stupidly Lucky: Smokescreen has a knack for being lucky. Ramp that up to a million and watch everything go nuts in wacky ways. He's just really REALLY good at ending up in places where he really shouldn't be. No he is not prepared to accidently end up on the Nemesis, but while he's there he might as well raid the energon storage on board.

Those are just my wacky thoughts :) No angst this time round.

I really like the first idea, though I probably won't use it because it feels too similar to my "Spy Dancer" and "Archivist" AUs. Kinda a combo of both.

I've heard and read a few different things with Smokescreen as Amalgamous, and have been wanting to do something with it for a long time. This definitely gives me an excuse to start making it.

The stupid luck idea seems really funny and I would definitely love to play around with it. I just don't know how.

for hachi: what little things about surface life surprised him? and, what was the primary way he learned inklish?

One of the things that surprised him about surface living was how carefree the community seemed to be. Affection was out in the open, people were loud and willing to break rules, messes were made, there seemed to be nothing holding people back from going nuts. He was also surprised about how… unaware inklings seemed. The zapfish appearing and disappearing? Ignored. The sudden surge of octolings appearing? Funny-looking inklings. It both confused and fascinated him how nonchalant they were with things happening around them. They didn’t care, they just wanted to have fun. He also realized at that point he really didn’t need a disguise at all, and he was just wasting facepaint making a bridge between his eye masks. Other things he didn’t expect upon coming to the surface were unfamiliar pathogens, or discovering new allergies. He gets sick a lot, which kinda annoys him, as he’s someone who’d rather not spend days and days in bed and being miserable, he likes to feel useful. Not too long after coming to the surface he found out he was mildly allergic to flower pollen, which just means spring is the era of frequent sneezing. Hachikō is a fast learner in terms of developing skills, so he learned Inklish quickly. It probably helped that the Octarians teach basic Inklish in military training, meaning he didn’t have to start from scratch. Admittedly, I never really thought of how he could’ve learned it, but I’d think being in contact with Marina could’ve helped him learn more fluent Inklish, as she’s bilingual. Roxanne (aka agent 3) most likely helped as well, she taught her younger brother how to read and write, she most likely helped Hachikō regarding reading and grammar. He likely also tried to teach himself, using books and what little he knew to research things on his own.

He’s currently very fluent in Inklish, but does still have hiccups here and there, mostly regarding forgetting certain words, or sometimes flipping around the order of subject and adjective, or merely just scrambling the clauses of sentences. It’s nothing too debilitating, what he’s saying still gets across most of the time. (I will say that I’m not someone who knows much regarding learning multiple languages, so if there’s inaccuracies, I apologize.)

First off Lincoln - Knowing me one of these was going to be me projecting on to someone and that someone is link here. Lincoln I can see being what I am and that is an asexual who experiences alterous attraction, which basically means that trusting someone emotionally is important to him and that he’d like it to happen in most of relationships. Which also makes grant lying to him and Marco even worse if you think about it. I can see link being one of those asexuals that doesn’t mind sex and would do it if his partner wanted to but doesn’t get the appeal.

Taylor - I feel like Taylor would be one of those aroace people who would date. Like he wouldn’t mind doing the romantic stuff like kissing and stuff but what he’d really want from a partner is just someone to hang out with and talk to. Basically just a friendship with a label on it.

Lark - I’ve talked about how I think he’s aromantic on other posts and how he kinda resents it because he sees people being happy when they talk about love and just wishes that was him. I believe another term for it is Cupioromantic.

Sparrow - Cloested Asexual, I’ve seen others make this claim so I know I’m not the only one. Remember that random fbi agent that discovered that he was asexual while on drugs. I would love it if that was Anthony foreshadowing that Sparrow feels similar to how the fbi agent discribed it.

Ron - He just gives me Demi-sexual vibes I don’t know why. And I don’t even thinks he knows it, he just thinks that everyone just acts like that.

Nick - I feel like people are going to come at me for saying this but graysexual. I don’t have many things to back this up but it’s similar to Ron to where for me it feels accurate.

Terry - on the one side I feel like he’d be a sex repulsed asexual. On the other side I want to say that he, like Ron is also a Demi sexual. mulder always gets mocked but he continuously finds important evidence that other agents would never even think to look. (and colton tells scully about his shitty theory 🙄)

mulder loves to show scully old x files & evidence. it’s sweet honestly. too bad scully is annoyed with him and took his alien comments too seriously. she can’t take his theory seriously — how could she? a 100+ yr old serial killer and this is only their third case together.

scully’s conflicting thoughts & feelings are just. so palpable. she already feels a loyalty to mulder but it’s hard to reconcile with her own beliefs & fbi procedure and it’s even harder when they’re working with other agents who ~go by the book~ (but literally scully is TOO GOOD to go by the book when it’s wrong & isn’t actually serving justice yet always does her best to keep mulder in line)

the fact that mulder “asks” her to have a separate investigation. let colton have his and they can have theirs. unclear what her decision really is, cuz it seems like she’s working both — or is it just one to her?

the profile she writes & presents to VCS is pretty damn accurate. tooms looks somewhere between 25-35, he’s got a uniform, blends in when his eyes aren’t all yellow lol

but OOF idk how she gets through it when they start taking a shot at mulder & everyone laughs. she’s too kind & professional for that kind of behavior but saying anything could hurt her working relationship with these guys (and there is still a case to solve…) and it seems to be she’s contemplating a lot. about how mulder is treated, her choices & what she wants, what kind of work environment & partnership she wants…

i love the stakeout scene. it freaks me out that she’s alone?? doesn’t seem right even if others are on site. but of course mulder shows up and she gets all snippy 😂 he’s telling her she’s wrong, she thinks she’s right. AND FINALLY. scully turns out to be right and mulder actually says it. i love him for that.

(also does tooms crawl out of a *closed* vent? does that seem right if he was trying to do his job?)

the lie detector test. more reasons to hate colton & the vcs guys. tooms seemingly passed but the two questions mulder put in, he failed. vcs bros want to let him go but scully still thinks he’s the guy, mulder agrees. but asshole vcs guy let’s him go and colton tries to make scully feel better ~it doesn’t mean your profile’s wrong~ like you’re so dumb bro. literally. that wasn’t actually why she was bothered. but that’s how he’d be feeling, ego bruised.

LITERALLY I WANT TO DIE. first he tells her that he thinks she caught the right guy *and* is honest about why he’s behaved the way he did. and then he validates her even more admitting he was being territorial. he focuses on the work because at this point, their relationship is professional (and it’s definite it comfort zone after being vulnerable). but he gives away so much more when he reaches for her necklace. that was a different kind of territorial. that was FLIRTY. it’s truly just the way he didn’t let her doubt that he was being territorial. yes, it was because of the way they treat him. and because he believes she’s right & respects her work. but it was also him being jealous & territorial. THIS IS THE THIRD EPISODE.

and then !! he gives her an out. mulder really wouldn’t blame her if she wanted to work with them, leave the x files, get away from him. and this is when she makes the choice. she follows him, asserts her loyalty under the guise of curiosity. he’s shown her so much honest respect. he’s validated her. he listened to her. it’s what they do for each other.

and so mulder shows her the fingerprints (the computer work is wild to me, he’s just pressing keys and shit happens — i know that’s a thing but i never learned that stuff lol)

i love scully’s stunned face. and the way she never believes his theories & ideas yet she always turns to him for answers, like he should have them all & know everything.

just a thought about tooms — how does he choose his victims? like we see him stalk them. but. why them? i would assume he wants healthy lovers to sustain him during his hibernation but how does he know?

(this feels like the first time we really see what a great team they make. this case has been impossible to crack, with no evidence until they came on the scene. they gathered the evidence, followed the evidence, creating profiles, set up stakeouts, found tooms, connected the past cases — with more to come. all the while being disregarded & shown contempt.)

and this scene lollll colton is freaking out at the latest crime scene, yelling at everyone when scully & mulder show up and of course, he tries to stop them.

all of this was delicious.

one of the things that gets me about colton is how much he cares about moving up & looking good — not so much about getting the case solved. he’s so desperate. and i think scully thinks she wants to move up until she witnesses his behavior. because scully genuinely cares about justice, putting away murderers, solving the crime, finding the truth — and she isn’t going to prioritize herself / her career over that. she’ll do what it takes even if that means not getting full credit or any credit at all. yeah, she wants that approval & validation, but there are other ways to get that. i think this is the case where she really makes that choice. working with someone who values her work, mind & companionship — and who genuinely shows her care & respect — will win out over moving up. *especially* if it means shitting on someone & interferes with solving the case.

ALSO i love how she has no problem using what she knows about colton to defend mulder & stake their rights on the case. colton is fucking flabbergasted & livid. and wholly inadequate to solve this one. he can’t even say anything else because he would just further embarrass himself.

(theres such a *sound* to 90s shows & the way they speak !! something about scully specifically reminds me of charmed. (of course this was first but charmed was my pre teen obsession so it always goes back to that lol) and i just LOVE IT. maybe it’s specific to supernatural shows, idk. and i have no idea how to describe/explain it.)

anyway. this is when mulder finds another of toms’s fingerprints & that he took a keepsake. something VCS hasn’t seemed to pick up on at all? (embarrassinggggg) and so they continue *their investigation* find out what they can about tooms — fake address, hasn’t been to work since he was arrested. they bounce some theories back — scully thinks it could be different generations. parents raising the kid, passing on the sociopathic behavior. but mulder doesn’t think that can explain the fingerprints. the way they always ask what the other thinks really gets me. it’s precious.

(and the way mulder couldn’t figure out 30 years from 1993 is hilarious. scully didn’t even have to think about it. he ought have an eidetic memory but scully is the true genius & nerd here. AND his “and you’re gonna be head of the bureau by then” line is my favorite. he thinks so much of her. he knows she could play the game to move up if she wanted to. and she really is that good and only gets better the longer they work together. FEELINGS.)

so he goes through birth certificates, marriage certificates & death certificates for gods know how long and can’t find anything for tooms. but scully finds the original investigator

“i’ve been waiting 25 years for you” he never let go of the case. never solved it. but he knew it was tooms, kept all the evidence. official & unofficial — including a picture of tooms looking exactly the same from 30 years ago & the same address they have on file — and gladly hands it right over to them. (idk how i feel about his comparison but his line ‘these horrible human acts gave birth to a human…monster’ is really something)

frank whatever-his-name-is was fully aware tooms took the livers *and* a personal belonging of the victims. crazy what you could learn from properly connecting cases !!! because even if scully is right & it’s generational, it would be logical to think they’d follow the same patterns. and if mulder’s right, it’s the same guy following the same patterns lmao

scully already got her warning though. the nasty bile so she’s able to go for her gun, but tooms still manages to surprise her gdi. and mulder is just in time to watch her escape him, stop him from escaping & cuff him to her bath tub. AMAZING. mulder was terrified for her but now he’s just in awe of scully. my favorite mulder.

{EDIT: also they really should report colton because he purposely interferes with their investigation — they had just cause for the stakeout. they literally found the trophies from the victims, going back to 1933 & 1903 and the current victims and his freaky nest. in no way was it an irresponsible use of man-hours. and i hope it destroys his career when scully is attacked & she catches tooms.}

i guess there was a lot in this episode but i’m so glad they *finally* acknowledge she’s a doctor. (she ordered tests, many abnormalities yada yada) like why didn’t she have anything to do with the autopsies? bet she would have found ~something~ they missed. like mulder found the the fingerprints & realized he took trophies.

the way he’s contemplating that the general population has no idea there’s something else to be afraid of & protect themselves from. fancy alarm systems won’t save them from tooms. “it again enough” and scully SO SWEETLY touches his arm, slides her hand down to his bicep & squeezes until he turns to leave with her — she’s so touchy too !!! how many touches did i not notice in this season? like idk man. the comfort she wants to give him. she doesn’t use words, saying they caught him. no. she uses touch. a small one but it feels like a big deal to me. i can’t remember her touching him after getting him back in the second episode, or any time during. besides the handshake & the hug in the pilot, he was always the one to put his hand on her back or arm.

anyway. tooms is already plotting his escape & his next victims…can’t wait to watch tooms. more great moments to come there 😍

Ice King Andrealphus being the third fucking wheel, questioning why he even showed up, but staying for the literal tea

Stolas & Stella obviously hated each other from the get go, so yeah, he didn't betray no one (except maybe his daughter's trust)

COWBOY DADDY STRIKER STRIKES BACK!!! Still sad that Norman Reedus didn't return to voice him, but I kinda already had a feeling that he wouldn't return cuz 1) We didn't get to hear Striker in the S2 Trailer & I think it was confirmed that most of the cast had finished recording their lines for this season over a year ago and 2) It's understandable bc he's a busy man in the acting industry!

And besides, Ed's an awesome VA (especially with all the characters he's voiced so far in the Hellaverse), so I didn't really mind the recast!

One thing that bugged me the most is Loona not getting any lines in this episode, yet Erica still got credited?

The last episode was understandable bc Loona appeared for a few seconds in the beggining & end. But they could've at least given Loona a few lines this time around, especially given the fact that she was freaking out & didn't wanna get the shot!

Overall not exactly the best episode, but it was still alright (I just mostly missed my cowboy daddy, ok?) Hopefully, the next episode does better!!!

on a scale from teacher's pet to class clown to rebel, where would you put the interns?

I don't really see any of the interns being FULL on rebels, that like disrupt class or something. A lot of them lean more close to teacher's pet I feel.

Gisu and Lizzie feels close-ish to the rebel label, but only in aesthetic and initial personality. Like at first they seem like rebels, but once a teacher/agent asks them to stop they probably would. Maybe with some quips or questioning, but that's just them wanting to be treated as equals and know what they did wrong than being rebels. (also the fact that Lizzie was close to the bar in the casino is a thing to factor in).

Morris is another kinda-rebel I see but also a teacher's pet. The way I see it, Morris is willing to rebel against rules to do what his teacher/mentor wants him to do (mainly the pirate radio is what makes me think this).

Adam is like, mostly teacher's pet with a bit of class clown and rebel mixed in. Xyr interest in keeping history and doing a project like the tv screen thingies makes me think xy would probably be willing to follow rules and be close to a teacher to get information, but also being behind the bar gives rebel points. Though xy did say that xy and Lizzie were just goofing and xy seems to be easily pressured to do something fun, so that is class clown points there.

Norma is straight up a teacher's pet. Like the annoying teacher's pet who reminds the teacher about assigning homework over the weekend or something. Absolutely no class clown or rebel points to her. If anything, she would be a bit more of a bully/mean girl, but that might not truly be her. She was just worried about a mole and so we see her take a lot of things out on Raz since he is her prime suspect. When talking with other interns and adults, she is much more just straight up teacher's pet.

And we all know Sam is a class clown. Even without realizing it star would do funny stuff and make people laugh. Probably more of a coping mechanism to not scare off potential friends with some weirdness, but I don't think Sam would realize that is what stars doing. But nonetheless star would be classified as a class clown.

And I guess for Raz he's be close to teacher's pet but also rebel. Like he is not a rebel on purpose, he just does stuff without thinking but feels genuine guilt when he messes up. He wants to be a teacher's pet basically, learning everything and getting on the teacher's/mentor's/agent's good side to learn all he can.

CP0's redshirts are being beaten down by Cop Kuma, who has a unique 'bubble shield' attack

I wonder if Nami could utilize that kinda aspect with Zeus or just general clouds?

It appears that these are upgraded Pacifista, Mark III

Another light surprise really, it means that there are basically levels to threat-management right now: Pacifista, Mark IIIs and Seraphim

It seems Cop Kuma has been rounding up the WG agents, but as they wonder who ordered it we see Sentomaru having regained consciousness

So again I gotta wonder about consistency with the Seraphim. They stopped following Sentomaru's orders when he got KO'd, but they didn't follow Stussy's orders when Lucci was KO'd

Still, it works out for the allies, since Sentomaru is sending all 50 Mark 3s to help on the single goal to ensure Vegapunk gets off the island

Wording may be important here though, like what if Vegapunk isn't their creator? What if Vegapunk doesn't need to get off the island anymore? What if the Gorosei can outrank the order like the Seraphim?

Back to Luffy and he's almost uncharacteristically worn out

Apparently he broke his shoes so hopefully we return to the sandals, funny though that he worries about not being able to pay for them

Despite all of Luffy's searching he couldn't find Vegapunk or Bonney, but Shaka can see Bonney on the monitor - much to Luffy's annoyance that he didn't say sooner

Stussy's outfit is still too revealing, what was wrong with her current dress? Or just have an outfit that covers the legs as well?

Brook's fit is a bit silly but it can get a pass, it's Zoro who's serving with the fits out of the trio

We got a big spread though for Shaka briefing the situation: the Stella is missing and the Labophase is damaged

During the spread though we see that Atlas is repaired (and Luffy's happy to see that), Nami's getting some shots in on KO'd Lucci, Usopp is checking Shaka's station

And...was it just me or did everyone else think that York wasn't that tall?

The problem with the Labophase being broken is that the shields are up, so we can't leave without being burned by lasers

So the plan is simple: find the Stella, then fix the dome. But with him not showing on the monitors the other Punks have scattered to reposition the security camera snails

Chilling with Luffy, who is still out of breath...concerned, the two reminisce about Water 7 with Lucci and Kaku at their feet. I wonder if they'll be chatting once they regain consciousness

Back with Bonney and it seems entering the paw puts her straight into Kuma's memories, starting with his childhood

A heavily injured kid Kuma is harassed by some shadowed adults, trying to force him to go somewhere or else they'll die

His reluctance leads to more abuse, which Bonney struggles to stomach

One panel's silhouettes look a lot like Celestial Dragons as well

Flung out of the paw print, Bonney realises that her dad has carried a lot of trauma, but she's gonna have to go through it all if she intends to get her answers

Kuma himself meanwhile has scaled pretty high up the Red Line this time, seems to be a bit out of reach for the Red Port

Back at Egghead, Pythagoras is moving on to the next tower as suggested by Shaka

His dialogue seems, suspect, he talks about 'going down in a flashy way' but that could just be scanlations

Because behind him there's the sound of a click and an explosion soon follows

AMONG US: VEGAPUNK EDITION

And now with Big News Morgans' airship!

He's caught word that the WG have been sent to try and assassinate Vegapunk

However, despite being Pro-Luffy, Morgans decides he's not gonna indict the WG this time and instead uses Luffy as a headline that he has held Vegapunk hostage

It's a bold move, since it curries favour with the WG but at the same time it shines Vegapunk on a spotlight, which makes it harder for him to be killed

I wonder if marines will take it at face value, particularly Smoker and Tashigi really, I feel like they'd either wanna confront that or not buy it at all

Someone on-board doesn't agree with the headline though

VIVI'S HERE! So's Wapol but who cares IT'S VIVI and she's serving looks

I wonder though, did Wapol...save Vivi? Like did he help her escape Marejois? Remember back in the Wano intermissions he called Morgans saying he had 'intel'

Morgans though doesn't care for Vivi's criticisms, he's here to stir the pot

So upon a second read a lot more happened than I initially gave it credit for

it's still a setup chapter of course, but it rolls out the carpet for more

I am worried about Luffy though. He's not often this tired and I fear maybe Gear Fifth is influencing his energy levels, this may also pose to weaken him with the enemies to come.

Knowing that there's still upgraded Pacifista makes you wonder what else is out there in Egghead, and also what more could the crew use to their own advantage. We're still kinda waiting on Franky to get some shine in this arc after all. But 50 Mark IIIs does once again overstack the deck in the pirates' favour, they'll likely play some kind of footsoldier role for sure but I'm not certain whether Egghead will be a full-on battlefield.

Bonney visiting Kuma's memories looks to set up a lot of unravelling information, having her present in his memories is also a newer way for Oda to use the flashback, even if it doesn't explain right now what happened to the Stella.

With Pythagoras attacked we do have to wonder who is Among Us. Kaku and Lucci right now are KO'd so it's not them, the Seraphim are under the Punks' command so maybe they're being used to take out others? Lilith was noticeably missing this chapter but I feel like it's a misdirect. Like what if Lilith did attack but Pythagoras was the treacherous one? There's still the theory that Shaka's the traitor too, or that Caribou is on the offensive.

Seeing the chapter again branch out to other things is interesting, I mean we do still need to follow up on Law vs Blackbeard and Kid in Elbaf, but seeing Vivi in hiding with Morgans makes you wonder more about what happened with Cobra. Right now Vivi is a witness for that, and Bonney may also be a witness to tell to the crew (since she did mention earlier in the arc forgetting to tell Luffy about Sabo). There is the feeling though that we are trying to bring in all the Paradise characters in some extent, makes you wonder who else is gonna come back; Krieg? Morgan? Kuro? Gin (god can Gin come back please I wanna know that he survived)?

We still also can't neglect the fact that a Gorosei and an Admiral are coming (hopefully with the G-14, Smoker and Tashigi in toll) so even fixing the Labophase is gonna lead to a frenetic escape, Oda's taking his time with it though, which only makes us want more.

MI7 spoilers (my long rant)

extremely religious takes on the enemy lmao. i think because i'm a sucker for tech being used in spy movies that the airport scene was my favourite. 1. ethan not being found through the cctv- what a fun intro! 2. benji with the bomb- nice to see him do something...( i mean you made me think him running in the airport trailer scene was important 🙄)

IMF team: luther talked more than he has in other movies and i demand more. thanks. i kinda wish they'd use the team more ig. because they are literal field agents so they can fight? i hope? and the whole train scene benji was just gone like waiting thinking "wow he should be here by now" like LET HIM DO SOMETHING!!!

the fact that the entity has control over lots of techy stuff so benji n luther cant really do much??? makes me sad. like let them talk to each other :( i like the gadgets. i liked the little banter luther n benji had.

lastly- the scene where ethan jumps off the cliff- only women are in his flashbacks?? like i thought we'd established the IMF team as his. family lowkey y'know. it was just like okay...

in venice: white widow wasnt bad i guess. the benji dupe voice- love how it played on ethan's loyalty! i think it showed well how dangerous the enemy was- but for some reason i'm still more afraid of the past villain- lane, due to the many examples and horrors he's actually committed. ig im not into the blue ai enemy.

grace: my one thing is that i get that she might have had to be brought into the team to be safe BUT compared to ilsa, she is a pickpocket. a crime commiter at best. she is not at the level of a field agent (unless plot armour??) . not much fighting skills. to me she's kinda a liability. not to mention her constantly running away like. i was endeared to her at the airport because of her confidence. i get that maybe she becomes aware of the world-threatening shitshow she's been dragged into unwillingly but still. idk if she's cut out for the job. compared to ilsa a literal ex-agent with ties to MI6. even on the goddamn train she didnt really trust ethan YOU almost DIED?! if not for the plot armour of ethan parachuting into the carriage. girl literally almost killed him by handcuffing him to the car like very funny he just saved your life. literally not trusting ethan on the piano scene What? i dont care thats shes a orphan you've literallly been through so much. with ethan.

one second she's like not able to do much besides throwing a key around. on the other hand she can fight knife to knife with a super skilled killer (gabriel) like what? a citizen thrown into stuff out of her league-driving a car (she cant) playing a good white widow (id forgive her for never doing this ever) and the train (ok thats fine) like i just dont see the value of her being in the team besides being able to play. a woman? which im sure the og team could do to be honest. . can grace shoot a gun?

btw i feel like her relationship w/ ethan moves so fast?

villain: dark messiah. death as a gift. ghost. ai. gabriel (angel wow) i love more religious imagery. the flashback was like a decent window into ethan lore BEFORE imf (oooo) but i just dont really get what gabriel wants? the entity is messing shit up already. and gabriel seems to already work with it (comms faked in venice) i assume that ethan is a variable the entity needs to eliminate but just kill him? hahaha? gabriel probably likes seeing ethan suffer but compared to lane's stuff i'm not really. amused. (ethan literally has nightmares about lane)

also paris i didnt even know if they ever said her name? she was angry and dressed up and had some rabid dog scenes (like go girl) but i hope she does more in the next part! like the part where she holds up ethan and grace with a stab wound (woah. strong)

other stuff: the dutch angles being used in like 50% of the shots like CALM DOWN i love the mi:1 references but were they always so disorieting maybe im just getting old

the scenes? ilsa dies and ethan looks a bit distressed. the scene where they're hugging was so like woah okay but felt really like. shoved in there like. Okay yeah something bad is gonna happen to her 😭😭

in the end, rogue nation + ghost protocol are still my #1s. characters like brandt and ilsa had really interesting backgrounds and fit into the IMF team easily- the films centering around their teamwork is why i got so into MI in the first place. grace doesn't offer any like addition i dont think she can even bicker with the team for funsies (like brandt/ilsa) . she's not cool shes a poor girl that didnt know what she was getting into 😭

The Coyboy's Captive

Chapter 1

When you agreed to help agent 1 and agent 2 as their tech expert, you thought they were joking about demons existing. Until you saw the videos. You were one of the only people allowed to know of their existence. Agent 1 and 2 called you Techie instead of learning your name. And some of their requests were a bit more science fiction than science. But you found their intensity to be kinda funny and entertaining so you just brushed it off when they gave you an impossible task. But, when it finally came down to it they didn’t exactly have your back. So after they were slaughtered by the demons you were captured. The demons were gonna kill you at first but they realized that you were the only one able to erase all the footage of them and get them the list of the very few people who knew they existed. So the one in charge told the wolf girl to “fetch” and she picked you up and they took you through a portal to hell.

A few weeks past and you learned all your captors names. Loona was the one who often caught you when you tried to escape and she had your scent. She could track you for miles. She was also the one who watched you while the rest of I.M.P. went on missions. Although she didn’t do a very good job of it. You had went and walked out the door many times with her not evening giving you a glance as you tiptoed past her. But she always found you. Sometimes it happened fast and a few times it took her a while. But this time it took her even longer than usual. You did what you had done numerous times. You saw her reading some magazine and listening to music with earphones in. You stood up from the couch in the office and quietly as you could snuck past her. You opened the door slowly and closed it slowly as you snuck out. They never tied you up because you needed your hands to type and delete footage. You didn’t want to abandon your laptop but you still left it. Soon you were walking the streets of hell by yourself once again. Not quite sure where to go or what to do. But, maybe someone could help. Yeah right! Someone in hell going out of their way to help you? Not likely. You stopped when one large male hellhound approached you. “Hey, you’re a human!”

     you were quite scared. But you tried to keep your cool. “yes, I’m kind of stuck here” he looked at you with hungry eyes and it made you uncomfortable. “hmm, maybe I can help you. Maybe we can even help each other” he purred. You started to back away but he grabbed you and dragged you into a nearby alley. He pushed you against the wall and you screamed so he covered up your mouth with his paw. You had hoped that somebody, ANYBODY would have heard you yell and would come to your rescue. The hellhound got really close to your face. You whimpered under his paw. He whispered in your ear “don’t worry I won’t bite, as long as you behave.”

But all of a sudden he released you as he shrieked in pain. He was being stabbed in the lower back by some… imp? What was he? You wondered. The hellhound turned to face him and attacked, but the demon dressed like a cowboy dodged and stabbed him again. “you don’t know who you’re messing with” the hellhound growled. The odd looking imp smiled wickedly with a gold tooth flashing a quick shine. “oh, yeah” he challenged. “well, I think it’s the other way around” you could now recognize some sort of southern accent. It seemed kinda fitting. The cowboy creature pulled out a strange fancy gun and the hellhound’s eyes got wide. “You! YOURE CRAZY!” he howled and ran away without hesitation. That was a bit of an extreme reaction you thought. Now it was just the two of you. “thank you so much!” you exclaimed but he looked at with what seemed like dark intent only for second then flashed you a friendly grin. “sure thing little lady.” He tipped his hat to you and continued. You smiled back to polite. “so what brings a human to this fiery pit I call home?” his way of speaking was so odd but slightly charming. “it’s a long story” you admitted. “Are you good at telling stories?” he asked “um, I think so” He chuckled. “well then darlin’ come with me somewhere private. It’s not safe here. Then you can give me all the juicy details” you weren’t quite sure it was a good idea to go with this guy but he did save you so he was only person in this hellhole you thought might you be able to trust…. so you followed… little did you know at the time how wrong you were….

-he knew you even before the boombox incident. he doesn't even really remember how you two first met, he just remembers that you started talking to him and then just kinda kept coming back. at first he wasn't the biggest fan of you since he was 'doing just fine on his own,' but...he admittedly was already really attached to you. they've never been much of a talker and that's especially noticeable to you at that point in time but ,,, they respond enough with signing, nodding / shaking their head, or the occasional speaking that you're able to carry some conversations pretty well.

-he doesn't really. have. a lot of people in his life. you're really his only real close friend, it's kinda hard for him to fully wrap his head around it so !! they chose not to, instead focusing more-so on whatever it was you were rambling to them about that day.

-not super sure of where to put this lmao but ummm ehe . he's actually surprisingly touchy with you????? like. you've hung out at his house a few times and he just like. you'll start out sitting next to each other and you'll end up either laying with your head on their chest or vice versa . its . a little funny . you tease him about it a little and he just flicks your shoulder. also traces your scar a lot if you'll let them, they're not entirely sure why they do it, they just . like asking you about it occasionally.

-also you have scary dog privileges. they might look like any other grunt at that point but they're still tall as fuck and idk man !! something abt getting a blank stare from someone who towers over u would probably make u shut up and mind ur own damn business.

-again, he's not super good at fully recognizing / acknowledging certain thoughts and feelings of his but . yknow. he can definitely tell he at least worries about you a lot more than he would some other grunt he just met. he can definitely tell there's a reason he doesn't mind you touching him, whether by grabbing his hand to go show him something or just placing a hand on his shoulder or arm (most likely arm, again. hes tall. ). they can definitely tell there's a reason that they find themself genuinely enjoying your interactions.

-after the park thing you don't see them for a long time. everytime you try and call him the lines dead, everytime you try and ask others about him you just get choice words, all in all you're pretty much lost on the entire thing. sure, you know what happened but . it just never sits right with you. it doesn't help whenever people ask questions about them or give you wary looks because of your association, half steps back when you take one forward.

-anyway. yeah nevada goes to shit and you get magnified for the aahw. by now you just. don't really talk about hank. surprisingly, you have a little more of your old memories than the average mag !! congrats. problem is they're all foggy enough that you only really distantly decipher them. lmao. you aren't super high on the ladder but you're a pretty tough mag to beat. you're well known enough that other mags tend to hang around you when there's not much else going on. v2 mags especially think it's fun to mess around with you by jumping on your back or otherwise clinging onto you . idk man u've got like . a little family here .

-at one point or another there's an outing youre on that ends up going wrong. you get split up from the rest of your unit and are forced to hide out in some old abandoned building while you wait for backup. you're a little too injured to try and walk all the way back, a heavy gash on your side preventing you from doing too much in the moment. when you hear heavy steps on concrete you're able to give some sort of noise of relief, turning your head to look over your shoulder at whichever agent in your group had finally found you-

-you're instead met with red goggles and the end of a gun.

-any kind of relief is snatched away, you know damn well who it is by just the bit you can see in the dark alone. even standing in the shade between two windows (one of which you were sitting by, probably how they seen you in the first place- if that's the case though, it's a little weird they hadn't just shot at you through it.) you knew it was him. you're already stumblingly forcing yourself up to as much of your full height as you can manage, taking some kind of defensive position even as one of your hands ghosts over your gash. the throbbing pain of it and the feeling of blood sticking and running down your skin is enough that you can't seem to focus on the fact that he won't stop staring at your face.

-it doesn't take long before your legs seem to fail you, forcing you forward a bit as you kneel in some sort of attempt to keep upright. you're too busy hissing under your breath and screwing your eyes shut in pain as your hand covers your side to notice your company stepping forwards. you're snapped back to attention when there's a hand on your face, fingertips digging into your skin as they yank your head down a little further. you know you should be grabbing him, that you should be digging your claws into his torso and ripping him clean in half, throwing whatevers left aside and leaving. you know thats what you were told to do, what you were told they deserved anyway. yet, you aren't. instead, you're just giving some warning growl as you stare at them. you notice how the end of the gun is pointed away from you, how their touch seems to outline the mark on your face.

-"If you try and hurt me, I'll kill you." That's the only real heads up you get before he's crouching down and shoving your hand out of the way, grabbing something from his pocket to get to work on you. you don't fail to notice how little attention they're paying to you (aside from the focus on your wound, of course), that you could just rush forward and slam them into the ground if you really wanted.

-ok im skippin g ahead bc this is already way too goddamn long for hcs DEJWJCS

-anyway. it's a complicated relationship for a while. the others tend to avoid you a little but he just keeps showing up around you. they keep staring at you and just hanging around in your general area. it's not that much of an irritant if you ignore all the weird emotions and thoughts it keeps bringing to the forefront of your mind, forcing you to once again try and meddle with your memories.

-eventually he just starts walking over to you and sitting down next to you. sometimes he doesn't say anything at all, just sitting there and seeming to wait for one thing another- he never seems to find whatever that is, as he always gets up and leaves without a word at some point or another. then they start talking, its just little things at first, point-blank statements you can't say much on. sometimes they're just saying they and the other three will be gone for a bit othertimes it's some half-demand to let them look at the stitches they did on you (semi-related, he's not good at them. the stitches are pretty rough. at one point or another sanford has to redo them properly lmao)

-but then there's one particular night. they do the normal thing, come over, sit down next to you, not say a word. this time though you note how they're facing you. instead of some reminder or a demand for anything, he's pulling his ask down and asking a simple question. 'What do you remember?'

-it's a long conversation. he's talking more than he normally would by a long shot, occasionally stopping whenever his words seem to especially fail him and get stuck in his throat. you don't even really remember moving around, or even him pulling you in any way, you just know you somehow end up laying next to him with your head on his chest.

-whenever the memories do seem to click into place, it's hard. you have a lot of choice words for them yourself, months of being left alone without a word bubbling up with a vengeance, they listen to them. while some mags (such as yourself) do have the ability to speak, the san and dei don't think they've ever heard one with that much emotion in their voice. they've especially never seen a mag just break down like you do, they're both tensing up a little from their far away spot when hank's walking closer to you. instead of you lashing out or swiping at him though, you just sit there while he wraps his arms around you (as best as he can at least, it's a little difficult but he's able to get them around your neck and reach his other hand behind you well enough). you're eventually doing the same to him, though it's more so just your hands resting on their back.

-it takes a good while for proper trust to be rebuilt along with an honest, proper explanation from hank that only you're privy to. eventually though, there's enough trust that you're able to hang around him again without narrowly avoiding an argument or anything. they don't like being super affectionate or 'vulnerable' in front of the other two, so most times they prefer being in your or their room. also they're still touchy lmao, doesn't help that you're mag sized now and so they just want to hold you . its hard to explain, he's never been super affected by others heights and even when he is it's usually a negative thing for him but . for some reason . he just likes being shorter / smaller than you lol ,,,,,,,, hope you like holding them a lot bc that's what you're gonna be doing
