I watched Galvatron's Revenge. But only the parts with Smokescreen in it. I heard it sucked so I didn't want to torture myself. It definitely could be better. And the VAs could be better, I'm looking at you Optimus. But there are something things I liked.
Mainly that they didn't puts Smokescreen on the back burner like a lot of people do. I am not at all saying this was a good movie. You can still like things about it but dislike it in general.
I like Smokescreen's fight with Cyclonus. I like how they used his knowledge of the Hall of Records. His relationship with Hotrod was eh.
But there was one part that had me laughing. Cyclonus asked Smokescreen if his energon was yellow. Yellow energon actually exists. It's basically crack. Cyclonus asked Smokescreen if he was high.
Probably not what it was meant to be, but still funny.

Alrighty. Spoilers for The Amazing Digital Circus, Episode 4:
Smokescreen actually really likes Gangles new mask, it looks really fun. He doesn't notice anything at first, mainly because Gangle is relatively chill at the start.
His job his serving the customers, due to his wheels when he holds his breath. Basically making the place one of those roller places. I don't remember what it's called. But this means he's not in the back as much to notice everything going on.
He does notice Ragatha getting high on stupid sauce. So he just quickly moves the sauce away before going back to work.
He's never had a normal job before, so he's actually having tons of fun. Sure, some of the customers are weird. And serving Gummigoo and his pals are definitely weird. But he's having fun.
He does notice Gangle acting weird, but he doesn't do anything. He's not the best at comforting others or helping people be themselves. So when it's time for him to clock out, he just leaves.
There isn't a vehicle for him. So he just walks until he eventually is dropped into an office chair. With a score of F.
Why? Because he was being reckless on his wheels. And he wasn't even suppose to be on them. Even though Gangle told him to do that. So it wasn't even his fault.
The punishment is that he has to play a role in the next adventure. An NPC role. As an example, being one of the customers at the fast food place. Smokescreen just hopes that whatever his role ends up being, it's not anything too bad.

A fun concept, what if certain autobots/decepticons could open their faces like the animatronics in FNAF,I can see smokescreen pulling a foxy on The decepticons
Oooh I am here for this.
Transformation seams are present in every Cybertronian. Most of the time, their numbers and locations are limited, both depending on frame type and alt-mode. But occasionally, there are those who break the mold and have an excess. It's not necessarily a bad thing, often being compared to human hyperflexability when explained to the kids. But the excess seams do tend to have a few unintended side effects, such as the ability to move plating that would otherwise be stuck around the frame like a sticker to be peeled off and reapplied.
There are generally three different cases of excess seams coming into play outside of flexibility, usually in cosmetic fashions. First would be the ability to remove plating and get new armor entirely without pain. Around 5% of Cybertronians end up with this condition in some way or form and it is generally considered helpful since it allows for deeper cleaning of the protoform and temporary cosmetic changes without need for pain. The second case would be feral augmentation syndrome. Bots such as Orion Pax, those who grew up around animals or connected deeply with them and possessed the CNA for excess seams, have this condition. All it does it make their limbs more animalistic. Their jaws can open wider due to their facial protoform being highly segmented to allow for further stretch. Additionally, they are able to run on all fours perfectly comfortably due to being able to shift their plating around.
The last case, however, is the most terrifying. It is generally called proto-masking syndrome, and is only found in a starting 1% of those who come out with excess seams. Severity varies, the most minor cases leaving bots with the ability to contort their faces and mess with the metal. Severe cases allow bots to remove or transform their faces away without pain or issue. This is the one most find frightening.
Smokescreen happens to fall within this severe category of those afflicted with proto-masking syndrome. He doesn't know that he is weird and assumes almost everyone can do what he does, but simply fails to act out in large part due to politeness. As such, he doesn't transform his face away often, if at all. But when agitated, or trying to prove a point, he does instinctually transform his facial plating, and the very first time he did it for a Decepticon, horror stories formed instantly.
The bots have said exactly nothing about it to Smokescreen since it's not an issue and generally, it isn't nearly as unsettling as some of the things they've seen. But the Vehicons? They regard Smokescreen as the spark eater. The Autobots pet hunter. They try to keep clear of him as much as possible, especially when he transforms his face away. When that happens, they all assume he's going to eat them and bolt for safety.
Smokescreen is of the belief that he's just that good of a warrior. No one has seen fit to correct him yet. The kids haven't witnessed it yet and so have made no commentary. Bulkhead dreads the day they eventually see Smokey without his face. That will be a LONG conversation.

I really Hope i don't annoy you.
Megatron uses Dark energon on smokescreen but the effect was really Bad one, smokescreen started to Turn Into a Monster that hunts evrey bot He Sees.
Yeah that au is Just the cons getting all hunted and megatron IS of course to stubborn to ask for Help.
You're not annoying me at all. Though I might want to compress the pinned post. Or do a "under the cut" thing. Just so the main thing isn't extremely long at this point.
This idea is so cool!! The fact that Smokescreen becomes some kind of monsters is just such an interesting thing to me. All your ideas are so interesting!!!
I wonder if Megs would be able to control Smoke thanks to the dark energon. Or maybe there was something else added, that broke the connection and is what made Smokescreen more monstrous.

Holy Moly i Just Had a funny Idea.....
Smokescreen but He only speaks cybertronion the head injury messed Something Up and He can't translate.
Miko: so that's you native tounge.
Jack: great now WE have two Bots that Miko and i can't speak to.
Raf: Hey that's a First to me, i understand how you Guys feel with bee.
HAHAHAHA!!!
Oh the shenanigans! I've had similar ideas on this where Smokescreen only knows the Parxis dialect, not the common Cybertronian dialect. So no one knows what he's saying, not even the bots.
But even with just the humans not understanding, it's still amazing. Raf finally realizing how it feels is great. The bots having to translate, even to Raf. It'll be so funny. I love this idea.

That smokescreen tf one au sounds very neat! Could I write a fanfic using your idea? (With credit to you of course)
You know what, sure. This wasn't one that I was actually going to write like I've done with others, so you can go ahead. Just, as you said, make sure to credit me. And please, send me the link. I'd love to read it myself. (Don't forget a spoiler warning if you make it before 2025 rolls around.)
You may also DM me with any questions or ideas help.

Au Idea
Megatron was gone for three years to Look for Dark energon.
Megatron comes Back but Not with Dark energon but with Sparkling smokescreen.
Starscream: damn i can't kill megatron now or the Sparkling will die of a broken Bond. Fuck leadership i shall be the what Humans calls uncle.
Soundwave: is Happy to See Baby is the second dad but No ship to megatron Just co parent.
Knockout and breakdown: are the other uncle's but they married.
Autobots: weird where are the cons
The cons: playing with smokey.
BABY SMOKEY! SPARKLING SMOKEY! YES!!!
The adorable little guy who puts the war on hold. The cons stopping all their plans just to make sure Smokey is alright. Of course, he'll be raised to be Megatron's heir, but that's not a worry right now. Too young.
I can imagine Soundwave showing Smokescreen some of Megatron's fights on his visor. And Knockout does everything he can to keep Smokey clean and healthy. Breakdown is the cool uncle and Starscream is the uncle everyone tries to keep away from the child.
And Smokey is just the biggest ball of sunshine, that warms all their sparks.

I have an Au Idea for smokescreen but it's a sad one.....
You know how He used the Hammer to save Optimus, Well my Idea is that smokey would start to like die cause His life force was used Up yeah... And Team prime would Be shocked and sad and Optimus would feel so bad
Oh. That is sad. It's definitely a good idea. I'm thinking the name, Borrowed Time, or something like that.
There would have to be a certain point where he does eventually due, but when is an interesting question. He could die instantly, which would definitely be hard. But I feel like it'd be overshadowed by all the other stuff happening.
He could last until they make it home, and then die there, but it feels not sad enough. What do you think?

Don't reblog stuff often, but this is definitely something I think about often. Poor Smokey, so many things could have gone wrong. Like death, from the fact the Alpha Trion has no medical background!

Alright peeps. Here's the TF:One themed AU inspired by G2/Legends and TFP Smokescreen!!
TF:One Spoilers under the cut
Smokescreen used to be Alpha Trion's assistant. Well he was more meant to be a guard for the old bot, but he ended up becoming more of an assistant over time.
Unfortunately Sentinel Prime betrayed the 13. Smokescreen thought them all dead, not realizing Alpha Trion was still just barely functioning. Captured by Sentinel, Smokescreen was brought to Iacon. He was unable to do anything as Sentinel opened up his helm and attached something to his processor. Some kind of artificial personality component.
Upon activation Smokescreen changed to become the loyal Darkwing. Only to be free when Optimus Prime absolutely beat the scrap out of him. Enough to crack the device and bring Smokescreen back. But Darkwing isn't fully gone either.

Would you guys be willing to hear an AU based on TF: One. Inspired by G2 & a little of TFP? I'd put it under a cut with spoiler warns for those who don't want movie spoilers.
