I had a lot of fun drawing them, I’ve been meaning to do it for ages and now that I have I’m excited to do more, like Baby and Goldfish napping in the sun and perhaps a hypothetical piece of Drac in Millie’s cloak cape. 🥰

Momrad to Konrad: The first year

Honestly it's odd to think that a year ago at this time I had my tiny Night Lord.

Oh man there were ups and downs throughout it all. Oh he won't ever see this probably and I'm just going to be posting to the void. But God I'm so lucky to have such a happy little boy. The joy when he first started to figure out what laughing means and that he always has a smile or a laugh. The loss of his gummy smiles was a blow to Dadatar and I but his toofy little smiles have also been a joy.

Yeah babies really do have a new baby smell and it lasts like 3 months (another tragedy for us to loose) but I'm so happy he's just here with us (SIDS scared me)

Can't wait for another year more and all the funny little things that come with raising a tiny little Night Lord... Raising a tiny little Primarch

I might not be done with the OG Obey Me, but that didn't stop Nightbringer from getting its hooks in me and screwing up the whole MC hierarchy I had.

So now we got my boy Toofy as my Obey Me default MC (I'll throw his Pact Diagram-thinger up her sometime soon). Where he gets his 60% human(oid) form back.

He's cute, sweet, dumb, tall, and full of love.

He's not a demon, not a human (though he considers himself one). A humonculus- the human ingredient that a mad sorcerer used to make him, was Lilith's Descendent.

Toofy would escape his maker's house, and be picked up by Solomon after a few decades of wandering the wilderness.

Solomon lost Toofy after about a century of taking him under his wing, and didn't meet with him again until Diavolo summoned them for the exchange program. Still a big dumb silly sweetie-pie, but definitely grown into his own person all the same.

He works part-time at a second-hand store, mostly patroned by normal humans, but there's also a healthy supply of magic wielding customers who come for the more spectacular books kept in the back.

I do this because I love u and your simping for Noc. 👁 His eyes are a very vibrant orange-yellow; one of the few things that remained unchanged after his transformation. They are very noticeable and piercing, especially in the dark. His habit of rubbing his temples before seeing far away is more or less a trait of when he had to use glasses. ✋ Depends on their phasing; in their natural state, they tend to be a smooth solid hand. It can spike up with claws or mistify when he needs it. It feels warm to the touch. 🦵 They are surprisingly sturdy and muscular with claws at the end of them. He has a semi-buff build, but he does not have the need for running or being agile; he can just use his mists to teleport to other places. He does have a habit of tapping his claws against surfaces to make noise, especially as a threat when everything is silent and dark (they spark up). 👄 He does not smile genuinely often, but when he does it's a low rumbling chuckle that reverberates to the core. He saves these low, genuine laughs for the love of his life. He does tend to laugh maniacally when his plans are working whenever he's taunting his enemy, or when he gets excited in battle; as a true villain. 👤 They have a set of three claw mark scars in his back, where his dark mist and tendrils pour out. His bark is generally rough and very texturized on his limbs but turns smoother as it goes to the chest and neck area. He is very very sensitive on this softer skin. Softest spot? The bottom part of the trapezius area on his back (right between the scars). 💇He doesn't need to, but he does brush and grooms his hair. He likes to keep his appearance tidy and formal, and he feels very uncomfortable when it's not. He has no need to cut it, as it doesn't really grow unless he desires it. ...does being transformed by consuming a mist monster count as dyeing his hair? 🦷 Same applies for toofies; he has no need, but he does so anyway as a habit. His fangs allow him to tear a lot of sturdy things apart so...sometimes? Peach calls him out for it much to his embarrassment. 👖 His style is complex to describe; he tends to dress in a dark-formal way. His clothes are tidy and give him a sense of...professionalism? He has worked at many inquests and asura labs, so he does incorporate some of their techs into his armor. Not really clothing as they're attached to him but it's not Noctus without his crown of horns. 🪞 He finds worrying about his appearances trivial, however, he does not consider himself attractive, as his monster form has corrupted him far from what a normal sylvari looks like. Will not admit he blushed when Peach told him he's attractive. It is still a trivial matter tho; it is one of the sacrifices he took to get his power and, eventually, finish the commander once and for all.

Venom Comics Reading Order Part 13.

This is a....weird span of time. This entire space in comics feels like everyone is milling about not sure what to do now that they’re in the midst of the great MCU boom.

But we get some more symbiote lore, Flash gets to feel a whole 2 other emotions other than grim, and Carnage carries the rest of the way.

Marvel Knights Spider-man vol 2 #3 (February, 2014) Venom, Carnage brief appearances. I forgot why I hadn’t put my commentary on this yet then I opened the comic and remembered PETER PARKER WHAT WE ARE NOT GONNA DO IS TRY AN ACT LIKE FUCKIN NITRO NEEDS A REDEMPTION ARC. WE ARE NOT. HIS NAME IS FILTH. HE IS SCUM. AND THE ONLY THING WORSE THEN THE FACT MY BOY ROBBIE BALDWIN DIDNT GET TO PUT THIS MAN IN THE GROUND IS THE FACT THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SAVE HIM FUCK

Super Spider-Man #23 (February, 2014) Agent Venom, Superior Venom. Why did???? The symbiote DO that tho?? Like the writing really suffers when the writers can’t decide if the symbiote is a mindless tool, a malevolent alien that can’t be controlled, or like you know...an actual sentient creature. 3/10 boots licked.

Superior Spider-Man #24 (February, 2014) Superior Venom. Norman Osborn’s main roll to me, is giving me something interesting to read when the writers are off fumbling the symbiote concept. 2/10 boots licked.

Superior Spider-Man #25 (March, 2014) Superior Venom, Agent Venom. See I’d like to see this as the in-between part where Flash is starting to see the symbiote as a equal but like....they always saying this “control” shit. 1/10 boots licked.

Deadpool vs Carnage #1 (June, 2014) Carnage. And Shriek! Honestly it’s just nice to see the kids out having some good ol fashioned fun!

Deadpool vs Carnage #2 (June, 2014) Carnage. And Shriek! Listen...Carnage is my main ship hands down. But I am 100% in the camp of thinking Cletus and Shriek love and care each other in their own twisted way. Anyways! No!

Deadpool vs Carnage #4 (August, 2014) Carnage. And Shriek! And the Lifos! Can’t remember if this is the first time they’ve all met or not. But joining up to beat up your older sister and her shitty boyfriend and his girlfriend is the level of drama I miss in my symbiote stories. Also god this ending is Peek Cleetus and I love it.

Guardians of the Galaxy #23 (March, 2015) Agent Venom. OH IS THAT SYMBIOTE LORE I SEE????? HELLO?????????? This seems like a lot of hoopla to explain why Symb can sometimes be good and sometimes bad. Feel like it’d just be easier to say “they’re a character and can do good and bad things” but alright. At least this weird “corruption” angle aligns well with my theory that Symb’s been half insane from constant drugging these past FUCK amount of years. I know this issue gets read as a retcon a lot and it might be, but I honestly choose to read it as a new symbiote faction. Just another part of their planet and culture revealed. Still waiting on the Just Chillin symbiote faction tbh, but since Holier Than Thou faction gave Symb the Klyntar version of a spa day and a medical treatment, they aight for now. 7/10 boots licked
