A rebel at heart, from a young age Beth has always gone to the extreme in order to get what she wants. She’s a self-professed wild child who made her mother cry when she walked through the front door one day with bright blue hair. She’ll just never learn her lesson, will she? Beth is often quick to anger with her hot temper, especially when she doesn’t get her own way. How will she cope living in a BC house where she’s competing against other contestants? Will she even get past day 1 without losing her temper?

Introduce yourself! Your name, gender and pronouns, where you’re from, all that good stuff.

“Hey, my name is Bethany Anne Tinsley, but for all intents and purposes you can just call me Beth. I'm a pansexual cis female from the crappy old dump known as Twinbrook and for the longest time now I’ve been dying to escape from there.”

What do you do for fun? 

“I enjoy dying my hair wild colours and going to music festivals! I also used to be a gymnast when I was younger, so there’s that.”

Favorite genre of music? Favorite artist/band?

“Pfft, mainstream pop is so overrated. My playlists are full of artists like Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith etc.”

Have you ever committed a crime or any illegal infraction?

“When I was fifteen I shoplifted from a store, but it wasn’t too much of a biggie. They let me off with a warning. I also streaked once..”

What’s your favorite film genre?

“Horror! I love watching everyone else shit their pants over these films, it’s great entertainment.”

What’s something your most proud of?

“Back when I did my gymnastics, I reached the highest level and went to the nationals! It was such a big deal for me.”

Have you watched any MMBCs before? Katherine mentioned Francis, though there are plenty of others out there: Hart, Camisade, Ostkaka, etc. If you have or haven’t seen one, what are your opinions on them?

“Man, I’d hate to be in a MMBC. I’m not ready to die just yet, I have so much of the world to explore still! In my opinion, everyone should go through rigorous checks before entering. I’ve got nothing to hide.”

What was your reason to get in this BC?

“I just want a bit of fun, that’s all! Besides, Veronica seems really cute.”

Also, be honest: how much of your entry is to get a chance at meeting Katherine West?

“Now, that’s personal info that I won’t disclose.”

OOC Question: Any tips for writing your character?

She loves to get into arguments and stand out from the crowd! Anything to get just that extra bit of attention.

Hart MMBC Bonuses: Outtakes and Extras

So, plans were going to be a little different for Hart:

Remember that weird conversation Dean had with Apollonia? It was supposed to be the subject of an episode, ending up with Monkuma making an appearance. It was scrapped because of a change in plans.

Middle picture is there just because, and it was around the time I discovered that @socialjusticesimblr had made the mastermind poses, so I was excited to use them.

The last shot is just cracks me up because you’ve got hope and despair just chillin’, waiting for their shot in the show.

Hart MMBC Alternate Endings

Because I’m on my laptop and remembered! Queued to (hopefully) alleviate the spam of the new computer. Copy and Pasted from a Word Document again, with some slight formatting changes (bold and text).

Ending A, “The Initial Ending”: Planned in March. Alice doesn’t confront Cathy, ends up killing herself via poison or gunshot. Set to Britney’s “Cinderella”.

Ending B, “A Hero’s Cure”: Like “The Canon End”, except Kyoko isn’t featured on screen. Alice runs away after the conflict with Cathy and heads to the park. Conflicted about whether to live or die, Apollonia shows up saying that she needs Alice’s help to take down Cathy. Mono Lana’s show up, and Apollonia covers Alice as she runs down to the beach where the team is waiting (Kyoko and a few others). Set to the end credits music of “Danganronpa: The Animation”.

Ending C, “The Canon End”: The ending we received.

Ending D, “The Mashup”: Something akin to Ending A and B, where Cathy and Chadrick are featured, and Alice still dies or comes close to it.

Hart MMBC Title Cards: Episodes 1 through 9

Featuring an alternate color text version for Episode 9, since that was inspired heavily by Danganronpa. Episodes 0 and 0a did not have title cards.

ALSO, this is partly being used for hype, as Hart MMBC airs tomorrow, 9 AM to 4 PM EDT.

Keeping in line with the post apocalyptic aesthetic of True Romance, or at least Nuclear Seasons and You (Ha Ha Ha), I made a single cover for Aliza! I really liked how it turned out, so I’m putting it up here.

Or at least, all on Dreamwidth! Well, almost. Not every “extra�� is on there, but the whole show and post story is on there now! It only took what, a few months to do it all? It be like that. Next up is Hart, and hopefully some more Monster Mash in there as well.

☺️ Since you asked: Veronica!

Let’s get to know Jack’s newest MMBC Bacheloret

1. Veronica’s aspirations to become a film star came from essentially growing up with them as role models. Her mom having a love for vintage Hollywood, the “Golden Age” helped push her towards her current role.

2. Of all the towns they lived in, Sunset Valley by far was her favorite, especially the relationships she had there.

3. In her early twenties, around the same time Cathy was in the military and starting down the path of Despair, Veronica went to Sims University to study film.

4. Her first role was actually as an extra in some low budget horror film. Not all starts are glamorous.

5. Speaking of Despair, she wasn’t always on that path. Between the end of Hart MMBC and before the filming of the casting call for Baines BC, Cathy showed up to brainwash her sister. A family that Despairs together, stays together was Cathy’s logic behind the brainwashing.

6. Veronica hates public transportation, but now more specifically app-based driving services. The people she gets are other plain creeps or overzealous fans. Can’t she get someone who’ll small talk her and drive her to her destination for once?

7. Although it’s not one of her in-game defined traits, she’s definitely a dog person. This canon came up during Hart MMBC, because the only copy of Cathy I had in my library at the time was with Veronica, so I placed them. Veronica lived on her own, and she ended up adopting a puppy, thus creating this canon.

8. Biggest regret she’s ever had: Encouraging Cathy to go on Jupiter’s BC. She cites that as one of the reasons she became the biggest Despairhead this side of Hope’s Peak.

9. She considers her apartment in Bridgeport to be her “home”. Next to Sunset Valley, it is home.

10. Next to Cathy (when not under the influence of Despair), she hates Chadrick just as much. She hates the two of them for the outcome of Francis MMBC. She’s vague blogged about it on her Twitter, but her followers know what it’s truly about.

Some Musings

Computer. With my job, I’ll have a little extra cash now to (hopefully) upgrade my computer setup! I’m tired of TS3 lag, and lag playing other games. I’m aiming for a purchase in two weeks, when I have a little more money.

Job. Uh, we had this past week off? Now it’s going to be back and better than ever for the next five weeks. Though speaking of,

Hart MMBC. That won’t be delayed. There’s still one more voting cycle, and then, the end! I’ll be sure to play when I can, though I do have a queue’s worth of TS2 and TS3 shenanigans I post.

Textbook Format. I don’t know if anyone’s picked up on this, but I italicize the first word/phrase in these kinds of updates like textbooks. Idk, it’s soothing and natural for me. I thought you all should know.
