CC Expectations vs Reality

I don’t think we as a society talk about just how much The Cursed Child did to pull the rug from underneath us fans. And I’m not talking about the plot. But the characters because…

Before the play was even in the works, right after Deathly Hallows got released… we as fandom collectively agreed that...

ALBUS snarky little shit daddy issues SEVERUS POTTER was this Neville-esque little angel type character that often played third wheel to Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy’s constant bickering and romantic tension.

And SCORPIUS sweeter than sugar, cotton candy with a dash of rainbow and awkward mess of a human HYPERION MALFOY was this suave, collected, sarcastic prince charming type character, like Draco in fancy leather pants, but that shit got turned up by a 1000 %.

And we got...

one of my favorite details in alex and erik’s version is how despite albus being the one to initiate their separation (unwillingly but still), you can see him actively searching for scorpius throughout. And he actually turns around and takes a few rushed steps to scorpius before the staircases are dragged away

Harry Potter and The Cursed Child: Broadway/Tour 2025 Script

After a grand total of 132 Pages, 22804 Words, 11 hours and 52 minutes of writing, and 10 hours and 53 minutes of watching through and listening to the show, I finally completed writing out the full script for the latest version of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child! This script was written based on audio/video of both the Tour and Broadway production, as well as my own memory from seeing the show.

Feel free to share the link with people; I do have my own information on the title page, but if you post excerpts or individual pages anywhere credit would always be lovely since this did take almost four straight days of my life including breaks :D I am dead inside

A side note; blocking in the original script is different to how the show actually does it, so my version contains more descriptions as to what's actually happening on stage rather than what 'would be happening' if that makes sense. Additionally, some of the lines are written in the way that the actors commonly say them; I've seen like 10 different Albus/Scorpius duos, and if they all do the same thing I just included it in the script ahah. Anyways I hope everyone enjoys!
