//In A-Team's season 2 episode "Harder Than It Looks", I love how we get a subtle glimpse into Face's paternal mindset. After the ransom's left behind, Face is fully convinced that Warren Teasdale won't be too frustrated because his daughter Jennifer, at least, is safe. Even when Jennifer tells him otherwise, he assures her that she can't be right. After all, Jennifer's safe and that was the MAIN goal of the mission... right? Then, when Warren is LESS then appreciative of the team's efforts, and berates Face for losing the money, Face falls back on reminding the man that Jennifer is safe. When Warren doesn't care in the slightest and just wants his money returned, Face is less then pleased. Sure, Face is partially trying to wiggle the team's collective posterior out of the firing range of an unhappy client... but what's interesting is that he seems to sincerely believe that Warren will value Jennifer over the money. That's because, if the roles were flipped, Face would. If he had kids, he would never put a suitcase full of money above their lives and safety. He can make that money back, but he can't get his kid back if they die. If Face had hired a team to get his kidnapped daughter back, and he got the same kind of call, he would not be demanding answers about the money. He would be demanding that his child be put on the phone so he could speak to her. Whatever patience Face had for their client died as soon as he made that phone call.

Tabletop Roll20 Confusion

Alright, I'm only slightly interested in this, but I'm willing to try something new, especially as my break starts to come to an end.

I'm new to tabletop (never played but watched a little) and I'm so lost. I've been browsing through for so long and I'm so picky if not overwhelmed. The games are tagged beginner friendly and then I look at the summary or details and am so lost by the unfamiliar terms being used, or I don't understand the goal, or wonder where is the end point.

And are some of these games continuations? Like continuing from the last game and how long do these games last (in one session/overall)??

Some are pick up to play (easy join), others aren't and you have to do a whole application (which I'm not against) but this is a lot for my brain.

I have other things to focus on soon, but I'd like to give this a try before that. My attention span is being drained, but I've only been here for like 2 days so... 🤗
