I just about killed myself doing it, but I made an EVA foam raven mask in about 8 hours on Saturday for my partner's character. I had forgotten when our local Halloween parade was. X_X But it got done and it came out pretty cool! Everybody meet Trinket v1.0.

If you're interested in making one yourself you can find the pattern I used on my website: https://www.paleopanthera.com/masks/raven-low-poly-mask-pattern There's some extra feathers glued on the top of the mask and I modified the brow piece for extra feathering, but all the rest of the detail is just melted in with a woodburning tool. These masks are (relatively) straight forward to make, but it's drawing or painting on the details that really makes them come to life.

The wise Witch 🧙🏻 brews potions in her enchanted Cauldron, preparing spells to protect the swamp. Her loyal friend, the Frog 🐸 hops around the Mushroom House 🍄 always ready to lend a hand. Meanwhile, the mischievous Venus Fly Trap keeps a keen eye out, ready to catch any unsuspecting fly 🪰 that dares to come close. Together, they keep the swamp alive with magic, mystery, and a sprinkle of mischief! 🥰

Midnight Swamp – the magic-themed set of toys from the ‘Mini Kingdom’ collection. This pattern describes how to create the following five toys: Witch, Frog, Venus Fly Trap, Mushroom House and Brewing Cauldron.

For me, it’s always a lot of fun to design characters for special occasions like Halloween. This year feels like the perfect time to bring Halloween-themed characters to the Mini Kingdom, doesn’t it? I’ve been wanting to add a Venus Fly Trap to my flower lineup for quite some time, and I finally had the chance to do so! I hope you’ll love all the other characters from Midnight Swamp as much as I do! 😍
