Just remembered that Will sat on the icebox in the van for the 30 hr ride back to Hawkins

#byler #stranger things #that willelmike dynamic in the van after the monologue needs to be studied under a microscope #like why couldn’t we see the aftermath of his monologue???#what happened??#when will sat on the icebox did el and mike look confused??#did they offer to leave room for him to sit there but he declined politely like no that’s okay…#followed by the next 30 hrs of awkward #I know the vibes were OFF #that’s the reason they only let us be confronted with them by the time they arrived in Hawkins #they needed to shift the mood to confusion about Hawkins’ state #bc they could not reveal what the vibes were like before that #no but the prospects of el hugging all of them after saving max #and it’s like emotional and they’re all so relieved she’s alive #but then shortly after that when they’re planning going back to Hawkins #she’s distant again #maybe it’s with everyone so they just brush it off as her needing time to process everything #but it’s still suspicious because…#why are things with her and mike still feeling very off #and then that’s when they’re getting into the van and then will just adds to the awkwardness even more by sitting on the icebox 😭#I also noticed 2 pillows on the backseat so it’s likely that’s where byler slept in s4 during their shenanigans #so I’m guessing that where el and mike slept while Will slept on the floor 😭#no but seriously they could not show any of that without giving it all away #the angst and heartbreak and confusion and regret would have been so loud 😅

honestly i thought surtr was like some sort of hidden arknights boss or an ex-villain or something but she's just a passive mall goth lounging around and eating all my damn ice cream

#arknights #she doesnt leave my damn fridge alone #had to request a new minifridge through HR to hide my personal ice cream stash #(theyre original klondike bars. you see #only the original klondike bar has a solid chocolate casing hard enough that its a valid shell that doesnt crack or melt easily #and what i do is that in my office i use a spoon to introduce small microcracks into the klondike bar #to then pry apart by pieces and slowly deshell the klondike bar to eat its chocolate seperately from the ice cream #after ive finished eating all of the shell and ive properly left the ice cream proper nude #i proceed to eat the block of vanilla ice cream like a normal ice cream serving with the same spoon #using the foil itself as a plate for max efficiency #and upon finishing i lick the foil plate clean and politely fold up and throw away to minimize trash output as much as possible #thus ensuring a nice ice cream experience #but no surtr has to be like “bro just bite into the fucking ice cream its an ice cream sandwich”#BITCH you dont UNDERSTAND the PROCESS #WHICH ONE OF US IS THE TACTICIAN HERE????

#i'm tired of reblogging the other post rn ok #good news about work thing is that my bosses think very highly of me and their respect grew bc of this whole thing #bad news is i had to press them twice into considering making sure the employee knows in no uncertain terms #that their behavior was inappropriate and should never happen again #....and i get to have one more meeting about it tomorrow #if i find out the answer is 'we're gonna let this one ride' then it's to hr i go #in related more good news: i spent some time reading through scripture about what attitude i should have through all this #and it helped me put some of my emotions aside #my anxiety however is still through the roof and my body is feeling it for sure #but maybe by next week this will all be done with and i will feel like eating regularly and stuff again #ragamusings in the tags #in unrelated less good news two of my grandparents are in the hospital with covid now #that should be the foremost thing i care about rn but instead i have to process this dumb work thing #prayers appreciated for them if you would 💞💞

#delete later #another journal entry 📝 for the void #i have not been sleeping well for the past 2 wks 😵‍💫 i always wake up like clockwork after 5-6 hrs which feels like not nearly enough #i feel like i've done everything there is to do (consistent exercise + consistent sleep times + earplugs + weighted blanket + no caffeine)#last night i took melatonin too but no... same problem staying asleep 😭#ahh whatever. i'm just frustrated that it has to be this way :(#anyways in an act of spite i reread like the 4 wips that have been sitting in my drafts from the past few weeks #i think something that will never cease to surprise me about writing is that more effort/time doesn't necessarily translate to better #results; i suppose that's the case with all kinds of art but #it does feel somewhat unintuitive. one of my fav professors in uni said to not dismiss those 'lightning in a bottle' moments (in art) as #blind luck... but to instead analyze the circumstances and iterate on recreating them. and i think one of my artist friends who i deeply #respect said something similar (wrt artistic rituals/setup). i have too many thoughts on writing and on my own creative processes and #weaknesses to fit into any number of tags here. :') that said...#*shakes ch2 draft* after everything i did and all the hours i spent WHY are you still so bad?!!! D: i am baffled and frustrated.#and why do i prefer this other [redacted] draft which i hammered out with utterly no regard towards the quality??#anyways. back to the drawing board i guess T.T
