Daniel Villarreal at LGBTQ Nation:
MAGA social media influencers are spreading a lie from a “parody” account on X claiming that gay Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is HIV-positive. While nothing substantiates this claim, right-wingers have begun recirculating it to make sexually explicit, homophobic attacks. In response, his husband, Chasten Buttigieg, urged his own social media followers to keep working to elect the Democratic presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris. The lie originated from an October 1 post by the X account Breaking 911. The post simply read, “BREAKING: Pete Buttigieg reveals that he is HIV-positive.” The post didn’t link to or mention any sources. The account’s bio says, “The king of the gays. Parody artist. If you fell for my bait, you owe me eight dollars.” The post has since been reshared from the account at least 795 times and viewed over 1 million times as of Thursday evening. The account has since posted other false headlines, including ones that former President Donald Trump’s wife filed for divorce, the Pope resigned, and that Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz was accused of sexual assault. None of these claims are true.
MAGA influencers such as Stew Peters are spreading the homophobic lie that Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is “HIV-positive.”

So I've made up some artwork for out charity fundraiser.
All of these designs are on redbubble and all ten have their own section in the shop. All profits from the sales of these will be placed straight in the collection pot we have. All of these designs are limited and will be taken off the shop on the 6th June, ahead of official charity auction on the 7th.
A reminder that this year's charities will be Trans Pride Brighton, Lunch Positive and The Clocktower Sanctuary. All three are amazing charities.
Links below are our redbubble direct link and the collection pot for the fundraiser.
Thank you and please share around

Cancel Culture can come for anyone, and this time is came for me. Expressing my preferences for being with a man that doesn't have HIV made all of black gay Twitter come for me. I've received thousands of hateful messages in the past week, but thankfully I can still find the humor in this situation. There's so much hilarious irony in the gay community bullying a gay man over expressing what type of men he wants to be with.

Sexual disorders and methods for treating them. Nowadays, sexual dysfunction affects both men and women equally. Some forms of dysfunction are inherited, while others are acquired. Any type of sexual dysfunction makes life difficult and should be treated as soon as feasible. Infertility in both men and women has evolved into a scrape that results in a person's unpleasant nature. One of these illnesses is curable, and the others are treatable. Every case requires a particular set of treatment methods or a separate treatment plan, which is created in accordance with the circumstances.

It is truly amazing that, like clockwork, as soon as someone accuses me of "hiding behind accusations of HIV stigma," someone else will show up in their notes to display some fucking HIV stigma.
This has passed without comment by tributary. Because of course it has. One of her friends has done the old song and dance of soft-justifying HIV stigma by admitting its existence, but then denying that I ever appreciably experienced it and asserting that I'm certainly lying about how much I experienced it. After all, as has been well-established, the best authorities on HIV stigma are low-risk women!
Everything old is new again. Same as it ever was.

it is six minutes past when my workday ends on summer fridays, and i am waiting for approval on two different stories for our website, both of which really ought to go up today and one of which also needs social posts scheduled out. i resent every moment i am sitting at my laptop thinking about these stories and not making the chocolate pudding pie i got all the ingredients for yesterday.

I hate that post that's the screenshot of the tweets where the first one is like "What would you do if someone told you they were HIV positive after you had sex?" And the second one is like "Rush to the hospital to get PEP." because while it's very educational and knowing about treatment options is valuable, it strikes me as... very rude.
Like the first step should be a conversation with the partner who just disclosed their status to you. The window of effective treatment is fairly short (72hrs), but you also gotta evaluate if the activities and sex you partook in were high risk and things like whether or not your partner is taking meds or is already at an undetectable viral load.
