Ideal work schedule:
I show up and am given a list of cognitively engaging but achievable tasks
I complete the list
I leave immedietly
#today i had a call with someone from adobe enterprise support who informed me that the only way to migrate the adobe express files that#i lost access to when my employer changed how our licenses are managed is to reactivate my old license for the other account and then#manually migrate every file to the new account#and if that wasn't bad enough the people who managed the old license are telling me they don't have any licenses to give me#i can't solve this by just buying myself a license because it has to come through my employer for me to get into the files#i'm going to walk into the woods and never come back

i really believe that discussing the character with someone who shares ur interpretation is the closest u can get to modern day philosophy. we are like plato and aristotle but talking about a fictional guys trauma

(if you currently don’t have a period but used to, please answer according to however makes you most comfortable)
#i mean yes but not because my period is bad (it isn't) but because i love not working#this is just me being a pedant about poll design bc the i'm pretty sure the question this poll is trying to get at is closer to#does your period make you want to take time off due to the symptoms?#which i think you could get at with answer options like#i regularly take sick time on my period/i sometimes take sick time on my period/i would take sick time on my period if i could#my period doesn't make me feel sick#etc etc

The men long for a v neck. Bring back late aughts hipster fashion!!
(I noticed Luke Kunin with a little notch in his shirt the other night. Matthew’s influence on those Missouri boys)
the thing is i do actually totally get it. a couple weeks ago i was wearing a t-shirt with a tight neck and literally halfway through the day i got so fed up with it that i cut the collar out. however i have actual fabric scissors and cut all the way around so it looks nicer. but i get it! especially if you have a really muscular neck and shoulders, i assume they're all just constricting.
so yeah. bring back the v necks!

we really have to hand it to bruises for being easy to acquire, fun to touch, usually relatively harmless, and capable of turning a variety of pretty colours as they cycle through the stages of their life cycle from birth to death. they do so much for us. and even more if you're a bit of a pervert about it.

my mythology pet peeve is when someone describes a scenario in which they keep nearly getting something and then having it snatched away, and everyone's like "one must imagine sisyphus" no!!! one must imagine TANTALUS!!! sisyphus = being made to perform a pointless, aggravating task over and over without ever making any progress. tantalus = being offered a glorious reward only for it to vanish as soon as you reach for it. they are NOT the same
