Vance has had a six-figure stake in Rumble, an online video platform. The company has played host to Russian propaganda and to far-right personalities like Stew Peters and Tim Pool. It has also featured even more extreme content, including explicitly neo-Nazi images and themes like this song touting the “Reich” and calling for Jews to be placed in ovens from a “dissident rapper” with a dedicated page on the site. The site features a plethora of channels and videos dedicated to the concept of “white genocide,” which is a core belief for white supremacists. It also hosts channels for explicitly white supremacist organizations including VDare and Patriot Front, which has led masked demonstrations around the country.

Following the shooting, prominent antisemitic internet personalities quickly claimed that the Jews and Israel were involved.
Jon Minadeo, the founder and leader of the Goyim Defense League (GDL) — a a neo-Nazi and white supremacist group — hosted a live audio “Spaces” conversation on X/Twitter titled “”The Jews Try to Assassinate Trump!” in which he blamed the Jews for the assassination attempt, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
Conspiracy theorists continued to push the narrative throughout the weekend that the Jews and Israel were responsible for the attempted assassination.
Stew Peters, an alt-right internet personality, responded to a post on X/Twitter questioning why police who were notified of a suspicious character on a roof adjacent to Trump failed to react. “The Israeli-based, American War Machine is responsible for the attempted coup on Saturday,” he wrote. “This was NOT a ‘lone wolf’ scenario as the Israeli-funded ‘media’ would LOVE for you to believe.”
Conspiracy theorists also claimed that the assassination attempt was a plot to remove Trump as the de facto Republican presidential nominee and instead replace him with someone more pro-Israel.
In another X/Twitter Spaces meet-up following the shooting, notable internet provocateurs including Nick Fuentes, Andrew Tate, and Mario Nawful, accused Israel of targeting Trump.
“The [Israelis] tried to discard Trump … it was an attempt to throw him out of there,” said Fuentes, a white supremacist and Holocaust denier.

Alex Kaplan at MMFA:
Multiple far-right figures and social media users — including white nationalists — have praised Project 2025, a comprehensive transition plan organized by right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation to guide a future Republican presidential administration toward staffing extremists and implementing a far-reaching right-wing agenda. Among the plan’s contributors is Richard Hanania, who was revealed last year as an anonymous author of white supremacist content online and who has continued to appear on white nationalist programs. [...]
Project 2025 contributor Richard Hanania, whom JD Vance previously called a “friend,” anonymously wrote online for white nationalist sites — and continued to associate with white nationalists after his activity was discovered
On July 29, USA Today reported that some contributors of Project 2025 have a “trail of racist writings, activity,” including Richard Hanania, who previously spent years contributing to white nationalist sites using a pseudonym. The article also named failed Virginia GOP Senate candidate Corey Stewart, who told a crowd in 2017 that he was proud to stand next to a Confederate flag. According to USA Today, at least three contributors have also pushed the racist “great replacement” conspiracy theory, including Michael Anton, a former senior national security official in the Trump administration. [USA Today, 7/29/24]
Multiple far-right influencers, including white nationalist Richard Hanania, have given praise to Heritage’s Project 2025 by calling it “the best personnel database.”

I thought I'd heard just about every bizarre far right conspiracy theory.
The goofiest was probably the one about Obama storing 30,000 guillotines in Montana and Georgia to be used in FEMA concentration camps after Sharia Law is introduced in the US.
The recent unfortunate incident regarding Titanic tourism brought to the surface a wacko contention about the Federal Reserve System.
Far-right conspiracy theorist Stew Peters is pushing a conspiracy theory that the OceanGate submarine was purposely sunk “to keep people from visiting the Titanic wreckage” because doing so would supposedly reveal that the Titanic “was sunk by a newly created” Rothschilds-connected Federal Reserve and not an iceberg. Numerous Republican politicians and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have appeared on Peters’ program.   Peters is a white nationalist who frequently encourages violence against his perceived enemies. He has pushed a multitude of conspiracy theories, including those related to QAnon, COVID-19, Pizzagate, flat Earth, the moon landing, and the Uvalde and Sandy Hook mass shootings.  Despite his toxic history, numerous politicians have appeared on his program, including Reps. Paul Gosar, Bob Good, Pete Sessions, and Andy Biggs; and Kennedy.  Peters is now pushing the bizarre conspiracy theory that the Titanic was actually sunk by the Rothschilds-connected Federal Reserve — not an iceberg — and the OceanGate submarine was sunk to discourage people from ever visiting the Titanic to find out the truth.
Yep, the Fed will stop at nothing to hide its diabolical secrets! 😂😱
There is a major chronological problem with this particular conspiracy theory. The RMS Titanic sunk on 15 April 1912 while the Federal Reserve System wasn't founded until 23 December 1913. But conspiracy theorists never let the facts get in the way of their derangement.
Conspiracy theories have been around for ages. But the internet makes them easier to circulate and to draw unlikely connections between totally unrelated events.
And the conspiracy nuts are seldom content believing in just one. Stew Peters is all over the genre with QAnon, vaccines, the Apollo moon landings, and topically the Fed/Titanic. He's a waterfall of far right fabulism. And his racism and antisemitism don't prevent extremist Republicans and RFK Jr. from kissing up to him.
People like that are often close to the psychological spot where deep gullibility and paranoia intersect. Though some know it's all a load of bullshit but continue to spew it for personal or political gain.
People like Stew Peters give us a good reason why nobody should get a high school diploma without first passing a course in baloney detection.

Kyle Mantyla at RWW:
Kandiss Taylor is a flat-earth, election-denying conspiracy theorist who unsuccessfully ran for governor in Georgia in 2022. Undaunted by her paltry showing in that election, Taylor subsequently became a Georgia GOP district chair and also began hosting a weekly program called “Jesus, Guns, and Babies” on the far-right Stew Peters Network.
Peters himself if a racist, far-right anti-LGBTQ bigot who regularly uses his own nightly program, speeches, and social media accounts to promote white nationalism and virulent antisemitism while spreading wild conspiracy theories, bigotry, and calls for violence. Taylor has said that Peters is her “best friend,” so it was not surprising to hear her issue a threat of violence during a recent appearance on Peters’ program. Peters has repeatedly and openly called for violence against the government and his perceived political enemies, threatening time and again to deliver “extreme accountability,” by which he means public executions. Taylor, who has her own history of issuing warnings of violence, used that exact phrase during her recent appearance on Peters’ show while discussing what will happen to those who oppose her Christian nationalist efforts to place the church in control of the government.
Christian nationalist kook Kandiss Taylor went on fellow far-right extremist Stew Peters's program to endorse violence against those who oppose her whacked out agenda.
