Thinking about how i've been playing harry in regards to his interactiosn with kim and The Implications of it
#like i was watching this therapist play it and he was talking about how he thinks harry views kim and how that affects the way he treats him#and that got me thinking about how i have harry treat kim and the implications of it#because i have harry latch onto kim from the get-go partially because inland(?) says kim would die for you from the moment you met him#and also.... also because kim Cant Leave hes stuck with harry for the duration of the case#no matter how i push him or how much i lean on him he Cant Leave Me Yet hes stuck with me if he likes it or not#its not healthy but its Stable and harry has zero stability at the moment#and the game even lets you become kinda codependant with kim like when youre talking to jean (your Actual Partner)#you can say that you dont even wanna think about having a partner other than kim#when youre reading that dick mullen book it tells you through your internal dialogue not to lose kim that youll never find another like him#and one of the purple skills (i dont remember which) tells you its true in more ways than you know#but like if you express this sentiment aloud in front of kim he directly contradicts it tells you this is temporary#but if you go down this path harry sort of internalizes that kim will be there for him#because he Has To Be because he doesnt remember before kim was there for him#its so easy to forget that kims there because he has to be#frame his attempts at undermining you as friendly jabs because youre running into this far too quickly#imagine a repoir that hasnt really been built yet because youre Alone In This World and kim Has To Follow You#all you remember is longing and pain try and use kim to fill the hole#force him into situations where he has to comfort you lest the whole case be compromise by your instability#(im not saying kim Doesnt Care about harry just kinda thinking about possible implications of how i play harry)#🪩🔍

so i'm reading Chaos by Tom O'Neill. And man. Just. Man. I already hated Polanski, OBVIOUSLY. But now there's the possibility of him having filmed Sharon Tate while he forced her to fuck two men. And it was hushed up by Bugliosi (good riddance to another shitty man) because "he's also a victim in this and it would ruin her reputation". Just one shitty human who uses physical and financial violence protecting another. fuckers.
#ugh im pissed#all of the lies#and i haven't even delved into the alleged government involvement#manson#chaos#tom o'neill#helter skelter my ass#bugliosi#i remember when i was so excited to read helter skelter because it was THE book to read about the murders#glad this one came onto my radar recently by a book recommender that hasnt steered me wrong yet#she was BEGGING polanski to return home from london to be with her because she didnt want to be alone while so heavily pregnant#so he offered her the companion of drug dealers she didn't even like#while he fucked other women#"as per his close friend at the time*

i have opinions on ford the world isn't ready to see (he and mabel have a lot in common and he's not just a parallel of dipper. also he's not a terrible person.)
i think you knew this would happen when you sent this ask but i ended up talking for so long that im putting this under a read more Sorry
see this is crazy to me because this feels like surface level Ford Obsevations to me and yet you are completely right that the world isnt ready to hear it. i dont know if they ever will be. every day i wish there was more about him and mabel (that one page from the website was a blessing and i will cherish it forever). also its crazy to me how eager people are to blame ford for the abuse he experienced at the hands of bill. the new book hasnt helped this whatsoever either. the entire book literally screams in your face 'hey this guy is manipulating you, dont believe what hes saying' but when bill goes 'me and ford actually had so many great times together and i was so crushed to lose him and HE ruined MY life actually' nobody thinks he might be exaggerating to get the reader on his side. but maybe im just insane. anyways i just dont think ford deserved to lose everything he worked for and everyone he loved just because he trusted the wrong guy. i also dont get blaming ford for everything that happened with fiddleford. i feel like some people act like ford forced him to drive down to gravity falls and then held the memory gun to his head and then abandoned him on purpose. he called a friend to work on a project, underestimated how badly it was affecting him, and then got stuck in the multiverse before he could even try to reconcile with him. at the end of the day everything that went wrong here was because of bill. ford did not ruin his own or fiddlefords life with malicious intent, nor did he ruin either of them at all. thanks
#asks#mutuals tag#getting back into this show right at the release of this book was such a mistake#been having to read more 'ford deserved it' posts than i ever had before

actually, im not surprise anymore. he tried to kill himself at fricking 9 years old, he's capable of everything at this point.
umemiya may be a well-witted person wih good intentions and a charisma that can befriend anyone but when it comes to his mental strength.... im not so sure he's as strong as others, like sakura or... or no one actually. sakura is the strongest when it comes to the state of mind in a fight, the most stable. yes, he has abandonment issues but thats outside of a fight. we could see in almost every fight that everyone somehow gets distracted or is affected by emotions they shouldnt be distracted with, they're easy to manipulate in that state of mind, and im prerty sure endo knows it and thats how he managed to bring the old umemiya back to give takiishi a good fight he could enjoy.
endo says a lot of times that he isnt capable of a good character judgement, but he was capable in the past its just that he has become more thrown to please takiishi that he makes errors he didnt use to make about people, because whether he noticed or not, meeting takiishi changed the way he used to read other's motifs and actions. the way he can talk about umemiya that way proves that he is still capable to read people so well, even noticing sakura's worries (and being worried himself). he may not be able to read takiishi like a book, but thats no reason to not understand him, also something about not knowing what he will do next is part of the beauty endo sees in him, that spontaneous personality and disinterest in everything makes endo want to see more, to keep reaching to the unknown.
i dont know where i was going with this but yeah, i love these four dynamics like no others. and i know it wont turn out this way but im really hoping for takiishi to talk with sakura, just a couple of words would satisfy me, they dont even need to be directed to sakura he just needs to say something controversal to make sakura yet again have a crisis, that would be so cool
anyway, someone give sakura a hug please
sakura's trying to understand for the first time the reason why soemone fights. he hasnt question in his entire life why someome fights, he just assumes is a very common way to act, but umemiya changed his way of thinking inside a fight, with the "you can have a conversation with punches too", and im pretty sure sakura is trying to understand what he's trying to tell takiishi with his fists. we already know what takiishi is trying to make across, with the little snippet of his mind we were allowed to see, but we dont know what umemiya is thinking at this moment.
i think that apart from seeing that piece of hell that was takiishi's mind, satoru nii is making the fight in sakura and endo perspective as a whole, not letting us know what this two monsters are even thinking about, making the feeling of anticipation even greater
i love this series so fricking much, satoru nii is really amazing with their job, i love the visuals and metaphors they put in their work.
#cant get over the fact that endo looks just as worried ab sakura#endo yamato#hajime umemiya#chika takiishi#sakura haruka#wind breaker#wbk

bc im tired of batfamily members leading always leading their respective teams in crossover comics (even when there are perfectly mature, non emotionally stunted superheroes present), I thought Id list each each member (acc to age) and write whether or not theyd be an actual good leader.
Bruce: No. He's the kind of person in a group project would do all the work but would leave the presentation to someone else. (what im trying to say is he has good planning but poor communication skills. unfortunately thats a necessary skill for a team leader)
Babs: no. she can be a good mentor and a cool guy in chair, but I cant see her leading a team.
Dick: YES. There are any instances in the comics that prove this. He is the kind of leader who could do both. He could be stern when issuing commands but could also take his team out to dinner after a mission done well. hes like the popular student council member that everyone actually likes.
Cass: no. lmao. (although dc hasnt made her lead a team yet tho. i think)
Jason: NOOOO. Jason shouldn't have been the 'leader' of the outlaws team (the first one). Roy and Kori were were much more experienced in the hero business. Jason is smarter than most people give him credit for but he is never leading a team. especially not one with the second oldest comic book sidekick ever and a literal warrior alien princess.
Steph: I'm not saying she'll be good at it, but I kinda do want to see her take charge. for funsies.
Tim: I have conflicted feelings about this. As long as everyone in the team is as weird as him *cough* yj *cough* I think he's good.
Duke: I mean he did lead a child gang, so... (I havent read any solo duke media so I dont think I am the judge of this)
Damian: surprisingly, yes. I know he is still a child but ive read and seen many futures with a slightly more well adjusted damian turning out to be a good leader, like in the justice league apocalypse war dark movie.
EDIT: angered Babs stans. read first paragraph.

Heres some messy dad Mase rambling for your Wednesday evening 🫶🏻 enjoy!
Ps. This hasnt been proofread so please ignore any mistakes
•••
Due back to Carrington about 3am, don’t wait up. Love you xx
You smiled down at the message that had just popped up from your husband, quickly typing back.
Have a safe flight, see you soon 🩷
Putting your phone down, you sighed to yourself, snuggling further into the blanket you’d cocooned yourself in on the sofa. You’d just sat down after chasing your two kids around for nearly an hour, finally getting them settled in their beds after many promises that daddy would be there when they woke up in the morning, the pair of them were always a nightmare to settle at bedtime when Mason was away. Marley, at 4 years old was getting easier as time went on, getting to an age where she understood that even if daddy had to go away sometimes, he would always come home as soon as he possibly could. But Theo still often struggled, coming into your room on nights his daddy was away to ask if he could sleep in your bed, the smell of Mason on his pillow lulling his baby boy back to sleep. You always joked you had a child each, Marley was Mason’s little angel from the minute she was born, Mason fitting into his role as a girl dad like he was made for it. And you were relieved when Theo arrived and turned out to be a complete mummy’s boy, often seeking you out over anyone else when he needed comfort. But it was the times when Mason was away that you realised how much your son relied on his dad’s presence to settle him at nighttime, as if he didn’t feel completely safe unless daddy was home.
After watching a few episodes of Gossip Girl and then the evening news, you glanced down to see the time, groaning when it was still only 10 o’clock. Despite Mason telling you to not wait up, you couldn’t seem to convince yourself to go to bed, excitement tickling in your belly. You had always looked forward to him coming home, even more so now you had two kids, both of which worshipped the ground their dad walked on and were always easier to wrangle when he was home.
Figuring time would pass faster if you went to sleep, you slowing made your way upstairs and into your ensuite, getting ready for bed and slipping into one of Mason’s T-shirts, something you always did when he was away since the early days of your relationship. You turned the lights off and slipped into your side of the bed, the only light coming drop your dimmed lamp. You picked up your book from your bedside table, flicking it open and beginning to read in an attempt to make yourself tired. You were only a few pages in when you heard a creak, the bedroom door slowly opening to reveal Marley and Theo, both looking dishevelled and unbelievably adorable as they clung onto each others hand, both with their teddies they had had since birth tucked under their arms. Marley’s hair was wild, the little top knot you had tied a few hours earlier skewiff whilst Theo’s tired eyes could barely stay open, his big brown orbs sleepily finding you in the dark room.
“Is daddy home yet?” Marley spoke in a drowsy whisper, gentlem tugging her brothers hand and wandering further into the room. You sat up, throwing the duvet off your bare legs, swinging them over the side of the bed as you reached out for your babies, heart literally melting at the sight of them.
The stumbled into your open arms as you crouched beside your bed, both taking a side to snuggle into.
“Not yet, he’s still on a plane,” you mumbled, pressing a kiss to their foreheads, trying not to coo at how precious they were.
Marley pouted into your neck “Theo woke me up because he said daddy would be home when he woke up and we wanted cuddles.” The little lisp as she said her brothers name wasn’t helping the way they were making your heart expand.
“I’m sorry baby,” you whispered, “he will be home as soon as he can.”
“Can we sleep in your bed mumma?” Theo spoke for the first time, voice muffled as he burrowed into you.
You could never say no to them, secretly needing cuddles from your children as much as they needed them from you, “course you can, just for tonight though, back in your own beds tomorrow once daddy is home.”
They both nodded excitedly, Marley just about tall enough to scramble into the bed before reaching to help her little brother up behind her. You smiled to yourself at how sweet she was with him, taking on the big sister role better than you ever could have hoped. The pair of them curled up on Mason’s side sharing is pillow and instantly closing their eyes as the scent of their dad filled their little noses, a content hum sounding from Marley’s mouth as she near enough instantly fell into a slumber. Theo didn’t go so easy, seemingly fighting sleep as he fidgeted beside you as you resumed flicking through the pages of your book.
“You okay little man?” You whispered as he shuffled over to you, nestling against your chest, his elephant teddy pressed between you as he sought out your comfort.
He hummed in response, breathing slowing finally as he joined his sister in sleep. You couldn’t help but admire the sight, the 3 of you snuggled in bed eagerly awaiting Mason’s arrival. Putting your book down you figured you may as well try to join them, falling asleep surprisingly quickly, lulled by the sound of your babies soft breaths.
•••
You were awoken to the sound of your bedroom door closing, eyes finding Masons figure in the barely lit room, your bedside lamp still on beside you having not turned it off before welcoming sleep a few hours previously. Noticing the lack of weight against you, you glanced to your side to see Theo has rolled himself off you in his sleep and was once again snuggled against his sister, head buried in Mason’s pillow.
“Hi love,” your heard your husband murmur, quietly stepping over to you as he noticed you were awake. He pressed his lips to your forehead before carefully tilting you chin and pressing a loving kiss to your lips, “having a sleepover?” He chuckled, head gesturing toward the two extra occupants in your bed, his eyes mirroring yours as he admired his babies cuddled up on his side of the bed.
“They woke up and came in looking for you, Theo’s slept on your side every night this time, hasn’t managed to settle in his bed,” you quietly spoke, pressing another kiss to his pretty lips as he leant over you.
He sighed, heart clenching at the thought of his boy missing him, before standing upright. “Let me run to the bathroom quick and then ill join you.”
He disappeared into your bathroom, quickly brushing his teeth and going for a wee before stripping down to his boxers, kicking his team tracksuit onto the floor causing you to roll your eyes in amusement, only home for 5 minutes and he was already making a mess.
“Budge up baby,” he grinned as he slid under the duvet beside you, deciding against going round the bed to kiss Marley and Theo, not wanting to disturb their slumbers. He pulled your body flush against him so he could spoon you tightly, your bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces. You felt as he nuzzled into your hair, breathing you in and making you giggle at how your husband and kids were so alike, unconsciously comforted by smells.
“What?” He mumbled into your head, pressing absentminded kisses to wherever he could reach from his position.
“Nothing,” your turned to face him, tangling your legs together, “we’ve missed you so much.”
Mason couldn’t help but pull you into him for a proper kiss at your words, lips pressing together repeatedly until you pulled away for a breath.
“I missed you all too, so much,” you laid facing each other, heads resting on your pillow as you took in the sight you had missed for the past few nights.
“I can’t wait to cuddle them in the morning,” he mused, eyes looking past you to fix on his little creations that were still snoozing away, “I miss them so much it literally aches sometimes, even if its just for a night.”
“Trust me, they miss you just as much,” you couldn’t help the soft expression that took over your face, hand reaching to cup his face as your thumb slowly stroked over his cheek.
He smiled at you, eyes breaking away to focus back on yours, “I love you so much,” he whispered.
“I love you too. C’mon, the sooner you sleep the sooner it will be morning and you’ll get to make up for all the missed cuddles.”
Sorry if this is messy and rubbish, I literally bashed it out in an hour! Feedback is very much appreciated 🩷

MDNI mean dom!companions x GN!reader
Mean dom!Shadowheart who conjures magic dildos and makes you use them, loving to watch you struggle with their size. She won’t let you stop until you make yourself cum on it. Is constantly making mean comments about the whole thing while she plays with herself in front of you.
Mean Dom!Lae’zel, who loves to have you take what you want from her, but if you rile her up enough she will take it from you. She’ll lay you on the bed and ride you face until she is satisfied. Barely even gives you a second to breathe before she’s sat back on your face, making sure you don’t forget the taste of her release.
Mean Dom!Wyll who would rather smother you with love than deny you pleasure, taking pride in the way you obediently listen to his demands. Who loves the way you happily suck him off, grinding down on his boot as your only way to make yourself feel good. Who will pick you up and lay you on the bed when you have no more stamina left and fuck you until you can’t walk the next day.
Mean Dom!Karlach who has you sat on her thigh, making you grind your precious clit against it until she’s satisfied. Your legs are burning and you’re so overstimulated that it hurts, but she hasnt told you to stop yet. Who “encourages” you to keep going, reminding you of what happened last time, her hand placed on her belt as a warning.
Mean Dom!Gale, who has a large assortment of magical toys. Who leaves you tied up in the middle of his library with a vibrator that no matter how hard you squirm won’t let you cum, just because you interrupted his reading time. Who gags you when you are too loud and goes back to reading his book.
Mean dom!Astarion, who carefully teases your entire body for his own pleasure. Who tells you to quiet down because you’re distracting him as he expertly fingers you. It’s as if he’s experimenting with your body, not giving in to your demands until he gets the reaction he wanted. It’s never enough to cum, but it’s enough to keep you at the edge.

Mmmm, Luffy taking the mantle from Nika, becoming an honest to goodness god. The God that can hear all the prayers that are asking for joyboy, nika and now even him, one Monkey D. Luffy. Its alot but he can turn it off, and after becoming pirate king, he uses that radio to look for people to help and cause some chaos.
It is awhile until then. This is in Wano, Luffy is healing, hanging out with all the friends he made, the radio is a quiet buzz of thank you's in the background. He hasnt learned how to turn it off yet, but Nika told him how to make the volume manageable.
He is sitting with Law, they are just chilling. Law reading some book he found in the castle, studying Wano specific medicine and biology. When someone comes by and thanks Luffy in person, giving him a snack. The people quickly learned that just a thank you will make the boy abscond, but food will keep him busy for at least a few minutes to get put their gratitude. Luffy loves it.
The radio gets louder in proximity, thoughts interlacing with prayers. They bring up gear 5, and how amazing it was to see a god fight for them for once.
While they do this a prayer slips through, rings out loud in a different voice that is not the gratitude givers. Luffy forgets about them immediately. He snaps his head to the side, looking at Law who is still absorbed in his book.
Luffy pushing aside the person to get right in Law's face, making him put down the book.
"Luffy, what do you think---" Law grumbles before being cut off by a soft kiss.
"I love you to Traffy!" Luffy chuckles, another kiss before Law can stutter a response, his face bright red. People are looking at them, soft laughs at their saviours young love.
Law settles for returning the kiss, and figure out what brought the sudden affection on later. Luffy straddles his hips, hands wandering before Law picks him up and drags him inside to one of the inns.
They have an *interesting* time, with Luffy tunned in to Law's thoughts when he wants Luffy to do something, they are closer then ever, everything feels right and natural.
After Law asks, 'wtf was that', and Luffy explains his radio thing. Law gets a smirk, getting a hang of the telepathy to make Luffy squirm with a blush when it is usually the opposite. Law figuring out how to use room along with Luffy's power so they can talk mind to mind. They become even more insuferable in their shenanigans and match each others chaos xd.

Can you write some stuff about Spot with one bed trope. You can either write pre collider or after collider. Which one is easy. I just have this idea for days and you I love your writings
one bed trope with Jonathan Ohnn!
basically jonathan has a crush on reader, no confession happens, and reader isnt confirmed or denied to reciprocate mostly just jon watching you sleep and thinking about what could be admin got a little silly not proof read, the bangers im listening too were too intense, we die like the spider that bit miles not sure how long this post is going to be! im not used to typing on an actual computer so my shoulders going stiff </3 anyways!
honestly i wouldnt put it past him to not get a room with one bed on purpose/hj
but lets assume he didnt and this is a genuine coincidence, because i think his misery and half hidden crush would be funny
gonna do a middle road here and assume spot has a crush on reader but hasnt confessed yet; whether reader feels the same is going to be up in the air
you see his body language immediately change when he sees the single bed in the room; you two had booked a hotel for the night for one reason for another
perhaps a work trip?
regardless the point still stands that there is only one bed
he offers to sleep on the floor, he doesnt mind it for one night, he can suck it up and-
you stop him before he can go on a full thing about how you can have the entire bed to yourself and how his back can stand sleeping on the floor for a few hours
yeah, no, with how hes always hunched over himself, his back will most certainly not thank him in the morning...
thank god the room is dim, otherwise youd see just how red his face is... not that his nervousness wasnt evident with how he was stumbling over himself
you convince him to take the left half of the bed, while you take the right
oh boy this is awkward
the air feels so thick, like you could cut straight through it... or is that just jonathons thinking?
his back is to you, so his face isnt right in yours; whether that makes it more awkward he cant tell...
he considered breaking the silence, but stopped himself; what if you were already alseep
you werent talking..
he carefully rolled onto his back and looked at you, hoping he wasnt too obvious
you were asleep already.... oh how he envied you, for dropping so fast
he turned, now facing you, alone with his thoughts
his mouth parted, before closing again
what? was he really going to talk to you, while you were knocked out?
"get real..." he thought to himself
he wasnt sure how long he ended up laying there, but for the majority of the time he was awake he thought about you
every part that he liked, everything that he wanted to tell you, the future he wanted to have with you
he wanted to hold you, to take you out and spoil you. maybe even move in together in a nice house? maybe even, if you wanted, have kids? he never really saw himself as a father but if you wanted him to be, he'd step up-
and and
he would make sure that you knew you were valued to at least one person, everyday, and would remind you how much he loved you, and...
but-
but you were coworkers; and thats how it would likely remain..
"but," hed interject, only to shoot himself down
it was agonizing, actually
that repeating cycle of thoughts kept up until his eyelids were about to close
but as he was about to drift off, your form suddenly scooted closer to him
eyes wide he looked at you, oh god were you awake the entire time he was staring?
no
you were still asleep
on one hand he was relieved that he wasnt caught being... weird... and his body relaxed' but on the other hand he felt his heart wretch knowing that you werent really. snuggling into him on purpose
as much as he wanted to stay close by and nuzzled into you, he shifted himself to the edge of the bed and sat up
he looked at the clock, it was a few hours past midnight...
he pulled himself up, and tugged himself to the bathroom
yeah... there was no way he was going to be able to sleep with you in the bed... not that it was your fault..! its just..
he frowned, desperately avoiding accidentally glancing at himself in the mirror
no, you would never... right?
when morning comes and you eventually wake up and question his absence in bed and the circles around his eyes he dismisses you with a simple "oh i couldnt sleep, the bed was uncomfortable,"
poor guy

summer love || Eddie Munson
a/n: i am thinking about writing a few blurbs for this story like when Eddie realized he liked her and also maybe some memories from when they were young like when they first met. so let me know if you want those or if you have any other ideas.
summary : y/n hasnt returned to Hawkins since she was fourteen and on her first day back she bumps into her old childhood bestfriend who she hasnt spoken to or seen in years. They are having an amazing time until he asks one question. why didnt she return? warnings : fluff and some angst
Summer was your favorite time of year, cherishing the warm weather, the much needed break from school and being able to hangout with your friends whenever. But this summer was different. You had to visit your mom in Hawkins, Indiana and spend your summer there. The journey to Hawkins, Indiana, felt like a step into the past. The memories of those childhood visits were hazy, a blend of long-forgotten adventures and fleeting moments with your mom.
The small town welcomed you with friendly faces. Yet, you couldn't shake the feeling of being almost a complete stranger here. The memories were distant, and much had changed since your last visit at the age of fourteen.
The first day was as fun as it could be in the small town where you arrived at forest hills trailer park. Your mom greeted you warmly, but quickly headed off to work, So you opted to explore your surroundings. You set out to revisit the old places that had once been your havens of adventure and wonder. The book store.
The bell tinkled gently as you entered the bookshop. The scent of aged paper and ink filled the air creating an inviting atmosphere that seemed to embrace every visitor. You made your way past rows of neatly arranged shelves. You began to read the titles of the romance novels running your fingers along the spines, drawn to the promise of captivating love stories.
A shiver ran down your spine as you continued to scan the titles in the romance section. The feeling of being watched hung heavy in the air, and you couldn't shake the sensation that someone's eyes were fixed on you. Your heart quickened its pace, and you discreetly glanced around, trying to identify the source of your unease.
When your eyes met another.Your eyes locked across the bookshop, his gaze intense. He stood amidst the fantasy section.A strange sense of familiarity washed over you, a feeling that you had encountered before, though you couldn't place when or where. His face held a familiarity that teased at the edges of my memory, like a half-remembered dream.
You broke eye contact and drew your attention back onto the book in your hands. Walking over to the cashier paying and walking straight out. As you were walking out you heard your name being called, turning around you saw him again. The guy in the bookstore.
“y/n” he said but it sounded more like a question almost as if he was unsure. “Yeah” I replied back, sounding just as unsure as he did. “Woah uh you look different… you look good not that you didn't look good before but i just haven't seen you in like so many years i wasn't sure if it was actually you but you are and wow” the boy rambled on rather fast, not even stopping for air.
His features slowly came into focus, and a rush of memories flooded back.
‘’ Eddie?’’ you screamed as you launched yourself into his arms and he hugged you back tightly.“You look so different, how have you been?” “Well you know, I could be better still stuck here, redoing senior year for the third time but other than that im just peachy’’ he said with a genuine laugh you smiled back at him. “Well third times the charm” you laugh. At that moment, you felt as happy as ever, grateful for this unexpected reunion.
It was a joyous moment, filled with laughter, as we strolled back to the trailer park, eagerly sharing stories and catching up on the last few years. you noticed a hint of disappointment flicker across his face every time you brought up a funny memory from your childhood. you did your best to brush it off, sensing there might be something more beneath the surface.
We sat down on my front porch and you looked over at him before he spoke. “Can i ask you a question y/n” you nodded your head.
“Why didn't you come back ? you told me you were coming back and that you would be here for the summer again, you came to hawkins every summer and then one day you just didn't show up. I waited for you at the bus stop and I wrote to you… but I never got a reply.”
The question you had been dreading finally surfaced. you looked up at him with a sad smile and let out a shaky sigh. " I didn't want to be your friend anymore. I only came here every summer to visit you, my mom didn't care if i was here or not though she most likely would of enjoyed it more if i had just stayed at my dads. We had been friends since we were six years old and i started to feel different okay?’’
1980 flashback
Today was Eddie's fourteenth birthday. You spent all morning making him the perfect chocolate cake that you knew he was going to absolutely devour in five minutes. You had spent all weekend trying to find the perfect gift for him and settled on the Lord of the Rings books which he had been talking about wanting forever. You put on your nicest sundress, curled your hair slightly and even did some basic makeup. You weren't sure what these new feelings were. Why did you all of a sudden feel the need to look your best infront of him? You shoved those feelings down and headed over to his trailer. Gift bag in one hand and cake in the other.
“Eddie” you screamed excitedly as the boy rushed out of the trailer to help you inside.
You placed the cake on the table and put his gift bag in front of him.you started singing happy birthday to him and he flushed red hugging you tightly. He was already eyeing the cake and bouncing with excitement. “You can open your gift first or we can eat cake first it's up to you birthday boy” you said to him
‘’ I can multitask, how about we do both” he replied, overjoyed, grabbing plates and digging into the cake. Then grabbing his gift bag and opening it.you watched as he looked at the books with nothing but happiness.
He jumped up from his chair and gave you a bone crushing hug lifting you from your chair.
“Eddie, I need air please’’ you said , hardly breathing at this point.
“Oh yeah sorry” he replied, letting you go and staring at you for a moment before thanking you a million times and placing kisses all over your face.you giggled uncontrollably and started pushing him away. You stared at him for a moment. Both of you are out of breath from laughing and smiles on your faces.
Were you in love with your best friend?
“ I'm really sorry eds” you said to him as he stared at you and hurt was all over his face.
“ i think- i think maybe i liked you” you told him truthfully he laughed softly The sadness that had clouded his face suddenly lifted, replaced by a glimmer of relief and understanding ‘’ i liked you too y/n” “ no eds not in a best friend kind of way… more than that’’ you said shyly
‘’ i know’’ he said looking at me happily
“ what- what do you mean you know? I never told you and I tried really hard not to show it too. Do you know how hard it was not to tell you ! i didn't want to ruin our friendship because i thought it would never work cause we only saw each other once a year for a couple days and there was no way you felt the same” you rambled quickly not stopping for air once before he put his hands onto your face and smiled at you. you looked at him for a second before quickly looking at his lips. His lips crashed into yours and you smiled into the kiss. You felt like you were fourteen again giggling like a school girl with her first crush.
In that very moment, you were overjoyed and you realized that the 14-year-old version of yourself had envisioned this scenario a million times, at the very least. It was a revelation you never saw coming. All those summers of concealing your feelings for the boy you had grown to care for more deeply than you had ever imagined possible were over. You didn't need to hide those emotions any longer, because it turned out he felt the same way.

You Stress Me Out
(4,135 words)
Gregory shows up at Evan's house during a storm with a wood carving knife stuck in his stomach. It may not be that bad of a wound, but that doesn't mean having a knife sticking out of you is any less scary. Or that Evan will freak out any less.
warnings: blood, mentions of a fistfight, an unsafe home environment, stitches, and of course, a blade being stuck inside flesh
Evans incredibly on edge right now. Which, nothing new here. But this time, it's less of his normal state and more of a genuine, rational kind of edge.
First off; a storm is on it's way. Not only does a storm mean that outside is a no-go, meaning that Evan is trapped inside his house with no way to leave, but hes absolutely terrified of thunder.
Which is why as soon as he'd heard about the bad weather, when his fathers back was turned and Michael had been focusing on something other than messing with him, he'd snuck to the kitchen, grabbed all the snacks and water he could need, and took them to his hidden stash in his bedroom.
This way, he didnt have to leave his room. And he could do his old trick of blocking the door leading from the shortest route to his room with his dresser, which could give him enough time to shut Michael out if he decides to persist on the other side.
Unlockable doors. The bane of Evan's existence.
The other reason hes on edge isnt because of himself, even though his body is locked up and sense, waiting for the thunder to start booming outside and send him flying off of his bed from how hard he flinches. Its because of Gregory.
Evan's brows furrow from his place on his bed, curtains drawn, but just open enough to see the rain start so he can brace himself. He takes one look at the gray clouds and white sky and frowns deeply.
Evan knows all about his friends... situation. Honestly, after being friends for almost a year, you'd think he would have known sooner, but nope. Evan had just been giving Gregory the benefit of the doubt too much. when Gregory'd refuse to let Evan go to his house, he'd assume he had parents like his, who he didnt want Gregory to have to see either, which was why he had been asking. When Gregory would have new bruises and cuts and rips in his clothing the next time Evan would see him, he would deliberately choose not to pry, or wonder, because he would think maybe it was worse than he thought.
But Evan had figured it out eventually, and he'd understood why Gregory kept it from him so long. Evan wouldnt want Gregory to see him differently for being a certain way.
But like Gregory, Evan had made it clear he didnt. He understands, really. Like he understands that with the knowledge comes the worry.
Evan knows Gregory doesnt always have stable shelter. The city and it's people arent so kind to homeless people like Gregory, even when hes outside and theres about to be a hurricane. Which is why Evan is hoping, wishing, praying that Gregory will come to Evan, this time.
It's why he's reading a book, sitting on his bed next to his window instead of on his phone like usual. Evan's on edge because he cant stop thinking about what would happen to Gregory if he didn't come, and if he does, will Evan hear him to let him in.
Evans room is on the ground floor, which makes it very easy for Gregory to come and go as he pleases (also for Evan to make an escape when he needs to. It's not rare for Evan to ditch his room to flee to the city with Cassidy, sometimes).
Evan's eyes trail over the words on the pages, but he isnt taking them in. He huffs, letting the book drop to his lap, and tries to ignore how cold-but-on-fire his stomach feels. He can't focus. Not when Gregory's supposed to trust Evan enough to come to him when he needs help and he hasnt yet.
Evan only waits a while longer, foot tapping on the side of his comforter and fingers drumming. When the first few thick drops of water land on his window, he goes for his phone.
Gregory said to never call him unless it's important. But right now, with how much Evan's stomach swims with nausea over uncertainty about Gregory's safety, Evan thinks this is important enough.
Evan only has enough time to enter his fifteen digit pin and tap the phone app before the sound hes been waiting for rings out by his window.
Evan can feel his shoulders drop when the familiar jingle of a Fazbear song is knocked on his window. He smiles, hurrying over to his window and almost ripping the curtains off the wall with how fast he opens them.
When Evan reaches to open the window, Gregory's there, if not a bit weary, if his half lidded eyes and the cut on his cheekbone are any indication, but Evan doesnt worry too much. Just unclicking the locks on his window and helping Gregory step inside when its apparent he needs help.
He has a hand clutching at his stomach, which is worrying, but Gregory looks like hes okay. Not about to die, which is what Evan's thoughts always end up going to, so he thinks that's a good thing.
Evan shuts the window and locks it just as the rain starts to drop harder, and he shuts the curtains, sending a glance at his door (the one not covered up with a dresser) out of paranoia. When his father doesnt burst in and send Gregory away like Evan's imagining, he turns his attention back to Gregory.
Hes huffing, like he cant catch his breath, which makes Evan furrow his brows. Gregory's bent over, like when you have a stomach cramp and try to curl in on yourself as much as possible. If Evan looks hard enough, he can see the inklings of bruises on Gregory's knuckles.
Evan frowns. Okay, probably a fight, but it wouldnt be the first time he would have to pull out the first aid kit.
"Gregory." Evan catches his attention. Gregory's eyes dart up to him, and he offers a shaky smile. "Hey. You had me worried sick."
"Me too." Gregory says, but it sounds strained. He still has that hand pressed firmly over a spot on his stomach, and when he looks pained, Evan guides him over to his bed, letting him sit down. "I know you don't like thunder and stuff. A-And you'd be stuck with Michael.
Evan crosses his arms, trying to look stern but coming off as incredibly worried instead. "Gregory. You're acting weird." He points out. "Listen, I know you're hurt. You know I've seen you get into fights before. Can you just tell me what's wrong?"
Gregory, suspiciously, looks away, focused on one of Evan's toys hes had since he was younger that he never bothered to put away. "Um. I-I dont think this is like those times, though."
Well. If Gregory can be this difficult, he cant be feeling too bad. Doesnt do anything for the anxiety digging a hole in Evan's stomach, though. "No matter what it is, you need help, okay? I wont judge. Just let me patch you up."
Gregory doesnt respond for a moment, then, "Promise not to freak out."
"What?"
"Promise not to wig out." Gregory meets his eyes, looking pained. "This is gonna make you freak. I know it. Just... try to stay calm. It's not that bad, I swear."
"Just show me already!" Evan presses, getting jittery from nerves. "You saying that is already making me freak out!"
"Okay! Jeez." Gregory huffs, and takes a deep breath. "Just dont look at it too hard."
"Gregory!" Evan yells.
"Okay, okay!" Gregory says placatingly. He doesnt say anything else, just takes his hand off of his stomach like ripping off a bandaid.
Evan's eyes blow wide, and his legs turn cold. "Oh my god."
"There it is." Gregory sighs.
"Gregory." Evan says, just above a whisper, because he cant manage anything louder at that moment. He stares at Gregory's stomach, feeling a pit in his own stomach when he cant tear his eyes away. "Gregory!"
"I told you you'd freak out." Gregory mutters, like he doesnt have a literal knife sticking out of his flesh.
"Why would I not freak out?!" Evan whisper yells, because wow he does not need his father or Michael to walk in right now. He gestures wildly, trying to put all of his emotions I into the single movement. "You have a knife in you!"
Despite what Gregory said not to do, Evan looks hard at it anyway. It isnt super deep; it's one of those really tiny pocket knives, like what you would use to carve wood with. He can still see some of the blade sticking out, which means the inch and a half long blade isnt plundged very deep.
"I know." Gregory says. "Can you help me get it out?"
Evan gapes. "Help you--" He giggles maniacally. "Gregory, if I pull it out, I'll have no clue how to make it so you wont bleed out."
"Well," Gregory glances away. "I cant really go to the hospital, and I cant just leave it in." He says. "You're my best bet. Besides, I promise it isnt that bad. It could have been way worse. I dont need a hospital."
Wow. No pressure, or anything. Evan implodes, shaking his hands out and doing laps around the room. "I'm gonna have to pull a knife out of you."
"Okay. Stay calm, remember?" Gregory repeats, and when Evan's facing Gregory's direction again after another lap, he can see him wincing. "Look, I know you're wigging out, but I really dont want this knife to me stuck inside me anymore."
"I would assume so!" Evan hisses, coming to a stop in the middle of his room and wringing his hands through his sweater sleeves. "Gregory--"
"Okay, listen." Gregory sounds strained, and Evan takes a moment to pause, worry taking ahold of his stomach like a giant hand and squeezing. "You have a phone, don't you? I need you to Google what to do, and pull this stupid knife out of my stomach."
Evan gets queasy just thinking about it. "Gregory."
"I know." He says. "But, look. I'm not gonna be awake much longer, since I pretty much ran from the city to here while I was bleeding, and the guy who attacked me had already beat me up a bit before stabbing me."
Evan's heart seizes at that. He returns to Gregory's side, sitting down with him. "But, isnt it not good if you're unconscious--"
"I dont know." He interrupts, eyes squeezed shut. "Look, I'm feeling kinda woozy, so I dont know how much longer I have left, but I'll try to stay awake."
Evan frowns. "You're acting like you're gonna die or something." He jokes, but his hand shake at the thought. "...Okay. Come here."
Gregory perks up, sitting up with great effort and putting an arm around Evan's neck when he gestures to. "We're doing this?"
"Yeah." Evan says shakily. He supports Gregory as he leads him lay down, pressed up against the wall, where if the door opened, hed be hidden behind it. Evan grabs a few of the towels he hides in his room to always have a clean one, -since he can never rely on laundry being done in his house-, and lays them under Gregory to soak up any blood. His father would kill Evan if he got the carpet stained with blood.
Evan grabs the first aid kit he always has hidden under his bed, and clicks it open, settling on his knees in front of Gregory's slack form on the floor with hovering hands as he glances at each of the kits contends uncertainly.
He grabs his phone, fingers trembling and pressing all the wrong buttons. Gregorys harsh breathing doesnt help.
"How did this even happen?" Evan asks as he desperately types in 'how to pull a wood carving knife out of your stomach at home' into the search bar. "Like-- I know you get into fights sometimes, but this?"
"Okay okay." Gregory coughs a bit. "Ill tell you. So, you know how it's about to storm?"
Evan glances at the crack through the curtains just enough to see the dark gray clouds swirling. "Yeah."
"So, I wasnt at my usual spot, but it was really close to starting to pour. And getting sick is like, the worst case scenario." Gregory says while Evan reads the random article he found at the speed of light. "So, I had to find some other place closer to where I was to wait out the storm, because I couldnt travel that far in the rain."
Evan pauses in reading, frowning and looking at Gregory's face. "You know you can always come here, right?"
Gregory frowns, looking away. "Yeah, but..." He trails off. "Its not fair to dump my problems on you like that."
Evan scoffs, breathing out a light chuckle. "Like you didnt dump your problems on me right now. And even then, I dont mind. I would much rather you come to me then be in pain somewhere else. Okay?"
Evan doesnt look at Gregory's face, too busy looking down at the article he has pulled up on his phone in his trembling hand, but he can tell hes smiling.
"Also, don't act like you don't make my problems your own, too. Im allowed to do the same as well, you know."
"Okay, okay." Gregory huffs. "I get it. I'll come to you right away next time. Happy?"
"Yes." Evan says, and he really is. Knowing that Gregory is sure to come to Evan when the weather gets bad, or something happens that makes the city unsafe, Evan will be able to sleep soundly knowing Gregory will either be safe with him, or he will be if need be. "You never finished telling me how you ended up with a pocket knife stuck in you, though."
"Right." Gregory chuckles. "So, I find this kind of hidden away spot, right? And I'm thinking I got really lucky, and set my stuff down. But then this other older kid shows up, and its obvious hes like me. But he gets really mad that I'm in his spot and starts yelling at me to get out."
"Jerk." Evan says, pulling the things he needs out of the first aid kit. "You should help eachother out, not fight. I'm sure he could have lended you some space."
"I'm sure you would have." Gregory chuckles. "But anyway, I'm packing up my stuff to leave, because this guy hurting me is a bigger concern than the weather at this point, and I dont want to mess with him."
Evan nods along, and goes to begin, but pauses when the first step is to take out the knife. Nausea curls in his gut, and he winces, glancing at Gregory.
"Hey." He cuts Gregory off in his story, and tries to look as apologetic as possible. "I, um. Have to take the knife out."
Gregory's eyes blow wide, and he frowns. "Oh."
Evan fidgets, having no idea how to make this better for Gregory. "Do you want me to count to three, or...?"
"Just do it." Gregory puts that steely exterior on. "I can handle it. Just do what you need to do."
Evan feels awful; this must suck for Gregory. Even if the knife is small and not very deep, having something sharp ripped out of your flesh cant be fun. "If you're sure."
He props himself on his knees, getting as close to Gregory as possible, and wraps a hand firmly around the small handle of the wood carving knife.
He can see it in Gregory's eyes. Neither of them want to do this.
"Keep telling your story." Evan says softly. Maybe itll distract Gregory from it, even a little bit. And Evan, as well. He can already feel bile working it's way up his throat at the thought.
Gregory nods minutely, jaw locked and tense. He breathes out a bit. "...Kay. So, I'm trying to tell him that I'll leave if he let's me get my stuff, but hes really impatient, and when I dont leave right away, he tries to scare me away faster by beating me."
Evan winces, pointedly twisting his neck away from the knife, as he tightens his grip, anticipation sending lightning through his veins. "That explains the bruises." He says shakily.
Gregory pauses, waiting for something that doesn't come. "...Yeah. He uh, he got me pretty good... but he didnt leave unscathed either. But, I think I got it worse."
"Definitely." Evan agrees ghastily, his stomach rolling when he feels the cold handle of the knife pressing idents in his skin. "Keep going."
Gregory gives him a look, but continues. "...So when I start fighting back, even though I'm smaller, he took that as a bad thing, apparently, and wanted me gone so he didnt get hurt. So what does he do?"
Evan doesn't respond, just squeezing his eyes shut, biting his tongue, and ripping off the bandaid.
Evan rips the knife out with a quick flick of his shoulder, and gags when it makes a fleeting metal-on-flesh sound as its removed. Gregory lurches lightly next to him, making a garbled, suprised sound, and when it's over, just lays flat on the floor.
"G-God." Gregory coughs, stuttering. "Okay, that wasnt that bad. I guess."
"I'm sorry." Evan frets, flinching and dropping the knife on the towel when some of Gregory's blood drips down his fingers. "I'm sorry, Gregory."
"You didnt do it." Gregory chuckles, his face white as a sheet. He brings up an arm to clutch at a spot just above the wound on his chest. "Jesus."
"I'll fix you up." Evan says softly, setting a hand on Gregory's own and taking it away just as quickly when he rushes to go wash his hands. "Okay? It might hurt, but you'll be okay. I'll make sure of it."
"...Kay." Is all Gregory says, and Evan rushes faster when he just let's his head fall against the floor.
When Evan comes back, he all but dives onto the floor, grabbing the things he layed out on the carpet and beginning. "Gregory, hey!"
"What?" Gregory asks, and Evan sinks in relief when hes still awake. He rolls up Gregory's shirt, inspecting the wound, and he finds it looks more like just a deep cut than anything. "I know you're trying to stay awake, but I'm probably gonna have to find a way to close this cut, so you might want to go ahead and go to sleep."
Gregory pales. "Like, stitches?"
"Probably." Evan shudders. A wave of sickness washes over his body when he realizes hes probably gonna have to find a needle and thread, and stitch Gregory's flesh closed, even if the cut is only an inch or so long. "Better safe than sorry. And I really dont think having a wood carving knife stabbed into you, even if it wasnt that deep, is okay to just put a bandaid over."
"...Alright." Gregory sighs, and his head rolls against the floor, his body relaxing. "I don't want to be awake for that."
"Me neither." Evan huffs, and Gregory breathes the air of a laugh through his nose. "But I think you'll be okay. Just sleep, and you'll be patched up when you wake up."
Gregory sighs a deep sigh, and Evan thinks it sounds like deep relief just settled. "Okay. Thank you, Evan."
"Of course." Evan replies, and when Gregory shuts his eyes and no doubt falls asleep pretty quick, Evan glances around his room, and realizes hes gonna have to go on a scavenger hunt for a needle and thread.
He sighs, hoping and wishing that he wont run into his father or Michael when he has to venture out of the safety of his room, but he relaxes at the moment, taking in a deep breath and reaching for some supplies.
First, he has to clean the wound.
🐻
When Gregory creaks his eyes open, it's not to Evan's carpeted floor like he had expected. Well, he is on the floor, he finds when he finally takes in his surroundings. But he isnt laying down completely. Some pillows and blankets have been posed and laid around him, like a nest, and Evan is sitting next to him in the middle, scrolling and watching something on his phone.
Gregory twists his neck and puts pressure in his arm, trying to prop himself up. He yawns, and Evan startles, taking out the crappy Walmart earbuds he'd bought. "Gregory!"
"Hi." Gregory groans, feeling the effects of his fistfight and intense sprint take hold, his body groaning and aching with soreness at his movement. He feels warm; which is something he wasnt expecting when he'd initially thought he'd spend the span of the storm outside in it. "Ugh."
Evan shuts his phone off lays it and his earbuds on the blanket, twisting his torso and shimmying in his spot laying against a pillow against the wall and legs covered with a throw blanket to face him. "You probably dont feel too good."
"Like crap." Gregory agrees. When he shifts again, back and head cushioned against two pillows without cases on them, he can feel the sore sort of throbbing pain of whatever stitches Evan had sewn in him. He wrinkles his nose at the thought, feeling guilty on Evan's behalf. "But... the stitches feel secure. I'm sorry you had to do that, it must have sucked really hard."
"It did." Evan shudders, but chuckles at the same time. "You know, I had to go in my Moms room to get the needle and thread and steal the pills from my Dad."
Gregory quirks a brow. "What pills?" He asks at the same time Evan hands him a small bottle of Advil. "Oh."
Evan hands him some snacks, too. A water bottle and some crackers. He smiles softly and takes them, taking two Advil with a swig of the water bottle. "You did all that for me?" Gregory asks, voice small. "...I know you hate your Dad, and your parents would get mad at you if they saw you snooping."
"I know." Evan says, fidgeting with one of the blankets and laying his head on the pillow propped against the wall. "But I wanted you to feel better more than I was scared of my parents."
Theres a short stretch of silence after that, only the harsh rain and wind against the house being heard. Gregory stays silent, turning over Evan's words in his head.
His eyes burn slightly, but he pushes it down with precise practice. "Thank you" Is all he can find in him to say. Theres too many feelings, too many emotions he has to put them into words.
But Evan knows him, and Gregory knows he understands when he nods, and smiles that small, kind smile that just screams 'and I'd do it again'. "Of course." Evan insists, and looks away for a moment. "I want you to trust me, okay? I want to show you that if you come to me because you need help, I'll be here, and I wont discount you, or-- or shrug you off."
Gregory doesn't smile, but he feels warmth spread through his chest at that. Gregory knows Evan, so he knows exactly why he would want Gregory to feel that way. He knows exactly why Evan holds himself to that, even though Gregorys confident a lot of it has to do with just the kindness in Evan's own heart.
"I-I know." Gregory whispers. "I came here because I do trust you. I came here because I know that."
It's really hard for Gregory to say that, and he knows Evan understands, because he doesnt comment, just nods, relief sagging his shoulders.
Theres a short burst of silence for a moment, the two of them just soaking up the atmosphere of being warm and comfortable, despite the circumstances.
"You're staying here, by the way." Evan's voice rips him out of his thoughts suddenly, and Gregory snaps to attention to see Evan looking at him sternly, but worriedly. "I know you're gonna try to say something stupid about how you're fine to go back into the rain. You arent going anywhere near the city, alright? I don't care if the storm lasts a week. I'll find a way to hide you so Michael or my father dont find you, okay?"
Gregory snorts at Evan's intense voice, but his heart bursts all the same. "Okay, Evan. I promise."
"Good." Evan sounds appeased. He twists his body, reaching for something, and grabs his phone, putting one earbud in and giving Gregory the other. He opens YouTube, handing the phone to Gregory. "You can pick. Honor of the patient."
Gregory grins, giggling. "Thanks, Doctor Evan."

Saw you're family tree post and i love how fleshed how they are! Though i saw you say that that Angela had her own godparent, could you perhaps elaborate on that?
HIIII IM SO GLAD U ASKED... this is one of my fave hcs and im happy i could talk abt it
when she was younger, angela was not in a good headspace mentally, she was extremely depressed to put it lightly, she was also really anxious and when she was 10 she recieved cirrus swiftsky as a godparent, the best i could describe him was like a grandfather to her and looked sort-of fancy, he had a mustache and everything, this wasnt his first rodeo with a kid, hes been doing this for a good few fairy years
angela, altough she used escapism often by reading kids books, she wasnt very "imaginitive" as she describes herself, so her wishes werent anything extreme, and if anything just mostly talked to cirrus about things that were bothering to her, and he wasnt expecting to become a defacto therapist to this kid, he gave her life advice he vaugely remembered while studying to be a godparent (they take mandatory childrens psychology lessons) and gestured her over to try journaling for her thoughts
he often disguised himself as a orange butterfly when outdoors with her (to school, to the park etc), and at home would usually be their pet ferret, who was called tom by her parents
they lasted longer then the usual godparent-godkid duo, 2 years infact, however she was expected to leave him when she was 14 as she was still concidered not yet fully happy, she had accidently blurted it out when her brother walked in on her and she panicked, thus wiping their memories
godparents, if taken away before their kid has been properly reverted to being happy, arent allowed to visit them again, and godkids wont be given another one unless they are in desperate need of them, like if something else drastic happened, even if they are still miserable, this is a big countroversy in the godparenting industry (which i could go on about tbh)
angela, who used cirrus as an anchor, was EXTREMELY distraught, and if anything made her feel worse by the fact she couldnt remember why (codependancy problems, where have i heard that before!) and after afew weeks of refusing to leave her room she decided to go to the library as a way to slowly start getting back to it and she had picked up a psychology book, and thats where she started her psychology interest, along with vaugely remembering her doing jounraling, so she continued and it spiraled into how she is today
though she had picked up psychology books for older people, so she convinced herself she was more "mature" for her age, and even today she hasnt gotten the hang of how 10 year olds should actually work ("lets leave her untill shes ready to come to us" go talk to ur daughter?)
her parents - heather and felix campbell - werent horrible at all, just in the dark about what her kid was doing since she didnt like to share anything she liked with them at all, if anything they were slightly more "loose" if that makes sense, but because she was just anxious she worried that theyd get mad which they often didnt, if that makes sense
she never really had any friends in her life, as she decided she'd focus on that after shes done with her studies, she wasnt really a social outcast, if anything a little socially awkward, shes only had 1 friend during high school and her social life kicked off more in collage, everyone had respected her but she was more of a "i wont talk unless you talk" type of deal, on top of her grades because it gave her something to do in her free time (and she just enjoyed writing essays in general), and she had gotten much much better where she was now! only problem was that she was still anxious about presenting projects
when she was with postpartum depression after hazel was born she couldnt help but feel like she was missing a puzzle piece, yknow how it feels when you know youve forgotten something, but you dont know what? thats how she felt, thankfully she had gotten treatment quickly
hazel does get her more anxious side from her, angela is a good parent and has taught her children to communicate with eachother unlike how she did with hiding it, though she (unknowingly) struggles with properly understanding her 10 year old and being so focused on her work she cant sit down and 'think outside the box' as shes said
