I've been obsessively playing Horizon Zero Dawn for the first time over the last few weeks.

Loving the story, the world and the game play! But also...

I went out of my way to complete (almost) every side quest and gather every collectable before dealing with the main plot.

Because I'm a chronic over-prepper and wanted to be in top form when the bad guys came for me.

But I didn't notice there were suggested levels for each mission.

It says I should be lv25 for this part of the main quest.

It really takes the bite out of a villain monologue when you know for a fact you could snap them in half, if only you could get out of this sacrificial arena cutscene.

Just finished S1 of Recruits and OH. MY GOD. it's a good set up, I'm definitely still attached to Network and Analog and actually got very lucky picking the two who ended up still together at the end. I feel bad for absolutely everyone but also Network is so me for getting bitchy and accidentally driving everyone away when overstimulated but still, I'm very hyped for next season (will do tomorrow after I finish RVB S12) and now I'm definitely hooked :]]

Had a lovely long weekend!

Friday night went to “first Friday” with boy and we got drinks listen to music and then got delicious ramen.

Saturday night and rode my pony and got to enjoy the beautiful sunset while cooling her down around the property

And then Sunday got dinner and went to a indoor mini golf thing with the boy.

And then Monday had a girls lake day with my giant purple unicorn floaty. (I took my terrible pictures when everyone else went to the bathroom)

Also this weekend me and the boy said I love you to each other. He said it first but like literally mid coitus so it barely counts. But then he said again the next morning and it was really cute. And then I said it back the next day when we were going to sleep. Even though I had been thinking about saying it for awhile I wanted the day to really process it and be sure rather than just say it back just to say it back. But regardless it was lovely 😊

I did not do all of the household chores, but I did mow the lawn and do the dishes, AND I finally deep cleaned my car so I’m calling it a successful weekend even though I didn’t unpack any of my bags from last week or put away the laundry. We take what we get in this house 😂
