"The Light Side being good and the Dark Side being evil has no nuance!"

Why though? Neither side is inherent, they're choices. Does a difficult choice between good and evil not sound nuanced to you? Does the choice between a painful path and the complete erasure of who you are no sound fucking nuanced to you?

The Dark and Light Sides are a binary choice between good and evil, and… that's great! The morals are simple, but the nuance is not in the basic and very simple morality (murder bad), it's in the circumstances that make adhering to your morals difficult.

Is Anakin Skywalker wanting to do good but not being able to because that would mean not having what he wants not nuanced to you?

Is Asajj Ventress —an assassin, a Sith Acolyte, a bounty hunter— letting a girl go because she doesn't want her to lose her family like Ventress did, even though that would cost her a lot of money she needs to survive not nuanced to you?

Is Dooku wanting to fix the corruption of the Republic and ending up being worse because he believes he knows best not nuanced to you?

Is Darth Vader choosing right for once in his life and becoming who his son needs him to be not nuanced to you?

Is Cal, Kanan, Obi-Wan and all other Order 66 survivors remaining good and kind when everything's against them not nuanced to you?

Is Luke seeing the good still left in Space Hitler and forgiving and loving his father the Sith Apprentice despite everything he's done not nuanced to you?

Is Finn choosing mercy and defiance of the First Order despite being kidnaped, indoctrinated and brainwashed by them not nuanced to you?

Is Rey being good and choosing not to let her bloodline define her not nuanced to you?

Is Ben Solo choosing evil despite everyone around him being good not nuanced to you?

Is Han Solo, a selfish man, choosing to go into a killzone to save his friends not nuanced to you?

Is Mace Windu commiting high treason to save the Republic regardless of what happens to him not nuanced to you?

Is Ezra Bridger being selfish and thinking of himself but choosing to be selfless when he realizes how much that means not nuanced to you?

If we go to Legends:

Is Jacen Solo becoming a monster because he wants to spare his daughter from a horrible fate not nuanced to you?

Is Jaina Solo killing her brother to save the galaxy not nuanced to you?

Is Cade Skywalker seeing the Force as a tool and being dragged into evil more and more not nuanced to you?

What does nuance mean to you anyways? Do you even know what that means or are you just trying to be edgy?

In Disney canon: treated Imperial defectors like criminals who were quarantined together and subjected to brainwashing if they got into trouble, disregarded the threat of Thrawn’s return, disarmed and disregarded the threat of the First Order until they were destroyed by Starkiller Base.

With Lego Star Wars doing time travel and alternate universe travel, wouldn't it be funny if they somehow managed to change the prime canon movie verse into a mix of the book verse and the sequel trilogy.

The Skywalker Twins and the Expanded Universe This graphic pulls together quotes Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher have made over the years regarding their characters' futures in the EU. Although neither of the two actors were readers of the EU material, they knew of the goings-on of their characters through friends and family informing them of the events of the novels. Carrie was said to have picked up a copy of Courtship of Princess Leia in the '90s due to liking the cover art. In 1997, she was interviewed for Star Wars Galaxy #12, where she provided some remarks shown here; later, in 2000, she also commented a bit on the subject of Leia's EU life at the Star Wars Weekends event at Disney Hollywood Studios. When her fictional twins of Jacen and Jaina were brought up, Carrie asked if they behaved themselves, and when an audience member said they did not, Carrie quipped, "They don't behave, seriously? That sounds like they'd be my kids." Carrie would sometimes remark that her preferred lightsaber color would be purple, if she was to have one; the closest this came to being realized is Leia's reddish-pinkish (nearly purple) lightsaber, as presented on the Japanese and American covers of Star by Star, in the New Jedi Order. Mark has remarked over the course of several years on his EU self, repeatedly commenting that he approved of Luke's relationship to Mara. In 2004, Mark even took to the stage with Shannon McRandle, Mara's actress for the trading cards; Shannon says they got along well, and Mark enjoyed meeting her, with him saying later to Insider, "The model who plays her is just adorable." The quotes compiled here for Mark's section are from Insider #73, from 2004, a Tweet of his from 2016, and a Hyperspace chat Mark conducted with fans in 2004. Plucking a gingerbell cookie from the counter, Han put half in his mouth and ducked down for Leia to bite off the other half. It was warm from the synthoven, and melted on his tongue.

“Delicious,” he pronounced, following it up with a kiss. The kids were too young to know today’s anniversary, but Han understood well the reason for comfort food.

Leia sighed. “But the real ingredients...”

Illustrated by artist Russ Walks for the Star Wars Galaxy: Series 3 set of trading cards, released by Topps in 1995. Leia Organa Solo, holding her two newborn infants, Jaina and Jacen. The babies were born on Coruscant in 9 ABY, with Jaina being the eldest of the twins by 5 minutes. The birth of the twins was much publicized throughout the galaxy via the HoloNet, resulting in a brief baby boom throughout the New Republic. In a Tales story, named Routine, it was hinted that Jaina may have been named after Han's mother, who the story suggests may have shared the name. Regarding the origin of the twins, editor Tom Dupree recalled Bantam Books submitting a short, one or two page checklist to George Lucas for the Thrawn Trilogy where questions were asked as to what George would permit in the new books. Notably, when asked two questions -- "Can Han and Leia get married?" and "Can they have kids?”, George's reply to both was the same: "YES." With that short answer, the path to the birth of Jaina and Jacen was laid. Author Timothy Zahn would recall years later in an interview with Adventure Journal #1 the process of naming the two Solo children: "Jacen was easy. He was [my son] Corwin's best friend at the time, and so I named the boy Jasen, although Betsy Mitchell [Bantam's editor] suggested changing the "s" to a "c" so it wasn't so 1980s popular name. Jaina took a lot more work. I remember going over several days writing down names and bouncing them back and forth with Betsy and not really finding what we wanted yet. I figured if we were going to have Luke and Leia with similar initials, these twins ought to have similar initials as well."
