Just curious but what are your t9s ships?

Honestly I feel like my only really solid ship for That '90s Show is, Red and Kitty. They were just as wonderful in it as they were in That '70s Show, compared to some seasons even more wonderful. That '90s Show only made me love them more, can't tell you how many times I've rewatched the show-paritcalry their scenes during this summer break.

Other ships...well I think we can count Eric and Donna as a ship for the show. Sure they only come out in one episode together but they had several cute moments and @thatseventiesbitch has written plenty of fics of missing moments that make it seem like they were there a lot more. Hopefully in season 2 they will be in at least 2 more episodes than this season.

Jay and Leia are a cute ship and have to admit I do find the idea of a Forman dating a Kelso pretty funny. They have some really sweet moments I the show I'd be happy if they ended up together.

Nate and Leia were a twist I did not see coming. I don't know if the writer's will take this route but I wouldn't be too upset if they did, I like Nate, he's a fun character and I think Red might like him more than Jay so that works in Leia's favor lol

Gwen and Leia I could see it, I would actually kinda love to see their friendship turn into something more. I really loved their moments together and think the actors have great chemistry. I don't think it would be something completely out of the blue if the shows' writers decided to take this route, though I don't think they will.

Nikki and Nate, they remind me a lot of Jackie and Kelso but less toxic. I'm really curious to see if they will still be together in season 2 even if Nate isn't with Leia it doesn't mean he'll still be with Nikki. Not sure which way I'd prefer things go yet tbh.

18 Leia and Gwen

“This is without a doubt the stupidest plan you’ve ever had. Of course I’m in.”

Leia looks at her friend, dumbfounded by the elaborate plan to get some beers for the party that night. “This is without a doubt the stupidest plan you’ve ever had. Of course I’m in.”

Gwen grins widely, laughing. She stands up and gets a large piece of paper from the back of the basement. She starts mapping out the plan, Leia watching in confused wonder.

It would be so much easier to sneak into the kitchen when Grandma and Grandpa were out of the house, but where’s the fun in that? It’s not a thrill, a rush, if it isn’t dangerous.

While Gwen explains the plan, the rest of the motley crew arrive, and get in on it. The plan is so complex there is no way they’re going to be able to follow it.

Finally, Nikki speaks up, “why don’t you just get the beers when your grandparents aren’t home?”

They all look at her like she has lobsters coming from her ears before turning back to the plan.

Ozzie is even more annoying than Fez, if that’s possible. I like the idea of him- that they accept his sexuality without any questions and embrace him as one of the gang. But he is just soooo stereotypical

I know, right? He's like "Token" from South Park, except that in T9S, there is no irony in his existence. He's such a walking stereotype, and his sole purpose is to check off some arbitrary box. He's just...there, and his coming out storyline seems really forced and disingenuous on the creators' and writers' parts. I literally cringed when I saw ET's take on it, where they're like, "ooh, how progressive." No, a truly progressive character would be properly integrated into the gang, without just being there to feign progressivism, and would be more to him than his sexuality. Cough *Gwen and Leia* cough. Create a character first, and then discover the character's sexuality (even tho it definitely comes naturally early on). Not the other way around.

Plus, although Fez kind of exists to check off an arbitrary box too, he feels like he at least he should be there and is occasionally endearing. Although he became a punchline in the later seasons, he at least was reasonable and realistic in the first four seasons. Plus, T9S would've been a great opportunity for him to come out as bi, since his sexuality is so freaking obvious. We live in a different era now, and bierasure is totally a thing that's common in mainstream media.
