Celebrating one year of Baldurs Gate 3: here is my Tav Bliss, a human bard, with her love interest Gale Dekarios, the Wizard of Waterdeep! I actually vegged out playing Baldur’s Gate for hours on Christmas Eve last year and it was the most fun I’d had playing a game in years. Gale’s goofy charm and gentility made such an impact on me, I haven’t felt so moved by a romance arc with a character since Anders from Dragon Age 2 😭💔

The speed in which I drew these..

My favorite part of that movie is when the Japanese attack Pearl one of the characters says something like, "I think World War II just started!", as if it hadn't been raging for at least two years at that point. It really showcases just how little Bay cares for things outside of explosions.

So I was watching the movie Pearl Harbor and during the meeting with his military staff following the attack on Hawaii a General told FDR that if the Japanese invaded the US ‘right now they would penetrate as far as Chicago before we could stop them.’ Was that accurate or just Hollywood?

Just Hollywood. While most war movies are inaccurate, Pearl Harbor has a special place in the non-credible Hall of Fame.
