The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland Trailer

It's Christmas Eve and Santa has found a delayed letter from Wonderland's Princess of Hearts. Santa and his team set off to Wonderland where they are met by the Queen of Hearts, who hates Christmas. Can Santa, Alice, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare teach the Queen the meaning of Christmas and save the day?

The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland, based on the book by Carys Bexington, stars the voice talents of Gerard Butler, Emilia Clarke, and Simone Ashley. Peter Baynton directs from a screenplay by Sara Daddy. Music and songs are by Guy Chambers and Amy Wadge.

There is an unwritten rule about all these Great American Songbook records, i.e. these are made by those near the end of their careers. True, there are exceptions. Robbie Williams, for instance, release one such record during the height of his fame. Of course, him being British meant he could afford to do something like that – there should be a lengthy discussion on why in here, yet let's leave that for some other time – and he did equip himself well. I mean, one of his covers ended up in a very successful movie, but one has to be honest that Williams sounds a bit dull on a few tunes on Swing When You're Winning. Sure, he does have his swagger, but the latter feels diluted. I mean, I still believe he should've done this LP, though he should've used his own preferred soundscapes.

The surprising successes of the noughts made a lot of quality work as we can hear on all our discussions, but these didn't always result into something greater. Natasha Bedingfield, for instance, shocks me with her consequent career. True, she does seem to have disappeared, but I believe the major issue might be the strength of her debut. When you listen to the latter, you continue to be amazed. However, she probably should've waited longer for the follow-up, but would that be good? I am dealing with many hypotheticals here, we cannot reduce one's triumphs over our set of calculation. Nonetheless, I do believe a possible answer for her might be that the scene around here changed so much she stopped fitting in. Moreover, many of her followers stake their claim on the charts.
