@alolynn-heart replied to your post “Ethan's innocently whistling. He totally didn't...”:
"In a way I kinda feel bad for the Muk. Not sure if I want to feed it -that- kind of trash"
“It's alright, she's got a strong stomach! You know I wouldn't make my Pokémon do anything they can't handle.”

What if Pokémon got region forms in regions they weren't available in?
I give to you: biker gang Unovan Falinks and Apricorn Foongus
#nevert's funky lines#pokemon#fakemon#art#falinks#foongus#amoonguss#(sorta?)#why's foongus steel/poison and not grass/steel?#because i wanted it to be#anyway‚ design details#falinks's arena trap is meant to evoke them circling around the opponent#foongus is purple-capped for three reasons:#1. to imply it's using its poison as a dye for its cap#2. because there are no purple apricorns‚ giving it away#3. to match its unovan shiny‚ that way when its shiny is red it'll match like grimer did#also i've notice for most regional variants#there's a sort of inversion going on#vulpix & darumaka: fire to ice#sandshrew: sand to snow#mr. mime: using hands to using feet#so i tried to keep that here#falinks: instead of refusing to retreat they refuse to let the enemy escape#foongus: rather than a perfect disguise there's an obvious tell if you know enough#also: falinks's wheel aren't automatic. they use the inertia from their run to make them roll

On the topic of game reception, what are your thoughts on the current state of pokemon?
OK THIS ASK WAS SENT BEFORE THE HUGE LEAK LOL but I have a lot to say:
I watched VHS tapes, played the games, and owned merch since a young age so the series is very special to me. But I don't like the current direction at all and it's not because of the designs or nostalgia. The quality and game performance plummeted so how can I enjoy playing when there's mad lag or low frame rate that hinders my progress and worsen the experience??
It took too many years for them to realize they need to put quality over quantity after the SWSH mess, seeing that they can get away with pretty much ANYTHING and still make huge profit. You see people say that Pokemon should've never went 3D and stay 2D but tbh, it's a series that improves it's graphics as technology advances so it's not a surprise for them to finally go 3D and personally I think that's fine but just keep it looking good and fun (though I would love a 2D/3D hybrid). XY introduced a lot of new features but still lacked in some aspects that still haven't really been solved or added.
Reusing assets is common in the industry but only to a certain extent. They claimed that SWSH was taking a while to make because they were making brand new models which turned out to be a lie and they look like bootleg figures with the new lighting. The 3DS models were ripped from Pokepark, including some animations, but a lot of them still barely have any character. They have their own in-house team (Creatures Inc) so they made the decision NOT to have pokemon properly animated or look alive.... Also they made spin-offs like Ranger, Colosseum, Pokepark, and Pokken which look AMAZING
FRLG took only one year while HGSS was being developed at the same time as Platinum and took 3 years to finish that turned into one of the best games and remakes ever made. As the franchise expands, the team also needs to add more manpower but Game Freak can definitely afford to get more resources to help them?? They can't continue having a ragtag team of like 20 people to make a game back then and do the same now then expect good results... Hire more people who know how create with current gen consoles IT'S COMMON SENSE PLS also I can't believe they had a different company create BDSP knowing how beloved and groundbreaking DPPT was?? No redesigns like the previous remakes and thought it was a good idea to keep it looking a carbon copy to the DS style...
Also it's shocking to see how fan reception can change how the devs direct the next gen ESPECIALLY when it's not even real constructive criticism?? When Unova came out, I remember seeing all the online outcry about "OH THEY HAVE AN ICE CREAM CONE POKEMON AND A TRASH BAG, THEY'RE RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS EW" then actually hear it being repeated at school.... I WAS TRYING TO SURVIVE SINCE DAY 1 IN THE TRENCHES DEFENDING THIS GAME IT WAS ALWAYS GOOD AND DIDN'T NEED 10 YEARS TO AGE WELL. It's crazy how these are the same people who want another Kanto when Trubbish is Grimer (garbage waste) and Vanillite is Voltorb (based on literal items) then you could not catch any other pokemon from different regions in the main game. And the leak confirmed that the disgruntled hate from the west made the devs not release new pokemon in B2W2 and move them over to XY instead AND NOT GIVE A SINGLE GEN 5 MEGA EVOLUTION. So we were robbed because of genwunners who were fixated on the wrong things and ignored all the great content Unova brought us. It's strange how players keep complaining they want a different and fresh game, but want it to continue being super formulaic and binary like wtf do you want make up your mind
None of the switch titles really got me invested and I always end up replaying the older games but hopefully PLZA will break the curse and finally give us a nice game. Also why don't we have more spin-offs on the switch if there's so many of them floating around like the DS had a bunch??? STOP BEING COWARDS I WANT A POKEMON NINTENDOGS GAME OR THAT FIRE EMBLEM CROSSOVER WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GET. I JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN AGAIN ;w;

Nia references Trubbish and Garboder in one of the earlier chapters when counterin Tobias' argument about the oddities of the human world…
How could such a species even exist if humans never naturally came to be in this Pokemon world of Seekers?
One of Trubbish' Pokedex entries says, "... was created when garbage and industrial waste mixed, causing a reaction that generated Trubbish."
Unless you may have an entirely different origin in mind for them, lmao.
Same goes for both forms of Muk and Grimer.
… Do Kantonian Voltorb and Electrode exist in Seekers? I can't remember if either have ever appeared...
And I guess the regional forms directly affected by humankind's actions (i.e. Alolan Ratata and Raticate, Alolan Meowth and Persian, Galarian Weezing, Galarian Meowth and Perrserker, Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark) could technically have unique ways of comin to existence due to certain historical or cultural events in the past.
Apparently the Vanillish and Klink lines came first and are what inspired the creation of ice cream and gears…
What about Golett and Golurk and Baltoy and Claydoll? Both lines were created by ancient civilizations… Same POSSIBLY goes for Bronzong and Bronzor.
And I can see Rotom existin... they jus can't inhabit appliances because those jus don't exist in Seekers' pokeworld.
And what of the Magnemite line? Castform? Castform was shockinly actually artificially created in Hoenn to help predict weather! I could see them existin somehow through natural means (clouds that became sentient through mystical means).
What about Deoxys? Deoxys simply came from space when its virus inside a meteorite mutates in the planet's atmosphere… Not from any manmade means.
Does Spiritomb exist and would it be comprised of 108 Pokemon spirits?
The ones I can def rule out from previous asks and convos are Mewtwo, Porygon line, Genesect, Megearna, Type: Null/Silvally, the Galarian fossilmon, Future Paradox Pokemon… And that would also go for Past Parodox Pokemon as well.
I'm also guessin that rules out Meltan and Melmetal as well (can't remember if you mentioned that).
And ya said Ultrabeasts don't exist purely because of no Ultra Wormholes, so no Lunala, Necrozma, Solgaleo, Cosmog, nor Cosmeon. (Though someone made a point in the server about that tombstone possibly havin a depiction of Lunala on it…) I do like the idea that Lunala and Solgaleo have existed once in this world, but someday jus... vanished.
Eternatus is said to be from another world as well… I'm guessin it doesn't exist, or maybe it does to some compacity? Do Zacian and Zamazenta exist in some shape or form?
And since gimmicks like Z-Moves, Dynamax, Gigantamax, and Mega Evolution also don't exist, it'd only make sense the Terrastalization phenomenon also doesn't exist, so no Teragapos either… (Maybe they did at one time but have all vanished or gone extinct).
Could the Treasures of Ruin (Chien-Pao, Wo-Chien, Chi-Yu, and Ting-Lu) also exist in some capacity? It could've been some long forgotten or scarcely known Legendary crafted the items they possess and planted them as precious artifacts across rhe world that intrepid explorers or passersby found and the resultin avarice of whomever owned the treasures caused their curses to bring them to life and take on their corporeal forms as a form of punishment or some sick pleasure from that Legendary? I dunno, I jus really love this quartet! They're so fascinatin and I myself have actually found a way to incorporate them into my PMD EOS AU lore!!
I know this is an enormously long ask, but thanks tons if ya take the time to comb through this and offer some answers! I know a lot of this is reachin and not really pertinant to Seekers' main plot, but it'd be really cool supplementary material! Sorta like what ya guessed for Zekrom and Reshiram.
Oh dang, this is a beefy ask, haha! Here we go.
The Pokemon in Seekers still create waste, even if most of it isn't nearly as manufactured and toxic as the human world's! Plus, the runoff from natural poison types like the gulpin and clodsire lines contributes to the natural poison waste in the environment. I will say that poison types like trubbish and grimer are much less common in Seekers than in the mainline Pokemon worlds, though!
Kantonian voltorb and electrode exist as a natural steel-type offshoot of the Hisuian variant! They just happen to look a lot like the pokeballs of other Pokemon worlds. :]
Hm...I'm going to say the golett/baltoy/bronzor lines just came from ancient Pokemon civilizations' artifacts, rather than human ones!
Magnemite aren't artificially created, so they're present in the Seekers world! I agree that castform could exist through different means, but it's likely a rare occurrence since they would have to come together through a sort of "freak accident" of weather phenomena.
Deoxys isn't currently present in Seekers, but they would have the potential to show up at some point if the space virus made its way to the planet!
Spiritomb does exist, but it's Pokemon spirits instead of human ones as is usually implied in Pokemon's canon.
The meltan/melmetal line exists, though they're rare! They're not manmade and are born from natural steel components.
Whoops. Forgot that I mentioned Lunala on the crobat's tombstone, haha!!! 😅 Let's say that Lunala and Solgaleo are largely considered legends, then, even more so than other Legendary Pokemon. They were thought to exist once, but have long since returned to their own dimensions and are no longer present in the Seekers canon.
Similar to Deoxys, Eternatus isn't currently present in the Seekers world, but could potentially show up if the meteorite it was born from in canon showed up in the world!
Zacian and Zamazenta exist, just without the same lore from Sword and Shield (so no Darkest Day). Instead, they simply guard their territory from threats. I don't think they'll be considered Legendary in Seekers, though. They feel more like regular (albeit powerful) Pokemon to me. I don't have an area in mind for where they dwell, though!
Terapagos probably exists, but its ambient power isn't enough to cause terrastalization in other Pokemon. No game gimmicks here.
The Treasures of Ruin might exist, but that's another quartet that I wouldn't really consider "Legendaries" in Seekers canon! I'd say they're lying dormant in their shrines throughout the Seekers world, but I don't have any lore currently on who sealed them away. They were sealed away due to being dangerous, though, since they were created from negative emotions! Not that that nixes the possibility for redemption down the line. 👀
Hope that satisfies some of your curiosity!

Soooo........ I've ended up staying up late, typing a Borderlands/Pokemon au and it was going to be something small but it ended up being a lot more long..........
Unlike the last few, this au is basically the Borderlands characters in the actual pokemon universe (no vaults, no eridian's ECT) and I've since changed a few teams because I wasn't satisfied with the previous choices.

TCG is the reason for the Pokémon on Kanto Elite 4 teams
Was drafting a long look at what if the mainline games used the TCG typing method then got to the E4 and realized this
There aren’t types like rock, poison, ice, etc… in the TCG
They get merged or split among other types
Like all Ice types are water in the TCG, and types like poison are split amongst psychic and grass and so on
And in its first runs types like Darkness(dark), Fairy, and Metal (steel) didn’t exist yet but even dragon type wasn’t introduced yet in the TCG
And when looking at the elite four teams in the Kanto games it made a lot of sense why certain Pokémon were on the team
Outside of just not enough Pokemon without duplicates
Longer details below but basically:
Ice types are Water so Slowbro fits Lorelei
Rock and Ground types are fighting types so Onix fits Bruno
Ghost and Poison types are Psychic types in the TCG so her whole team fits Agatha
Dragons and Flying types are Colorless so the non dragons fit Lance
Lorelei & Slowbro
Water and Ice are all under water types in the TCG
So where Misty leaned towards more beachy and lame Pokemon like Starmie (starfish), Psyduck (ducks) Goldeen (fish), and so on
Lorelei goes for the Pokémon obviously in colder climates hence the Ice types
So why Slowbro?
Well Slowbro is a hippo so it really doesn’t fit but then I remember the whole Shellder lore with it biting the tail aspect as the tail is really Shellder the water/ice type
So even though the ice type doesn’t affect its typing it has that aspect of its design and lore making it an honorary ice type and the most fitting water type
Bruno and Onix
So unlike with Lorelei and Ice, there were more fighting types to pick from like Primeape and Poliwrath
So why Onix?
Well as the trend states Onix is a fighting type in the TCG so it can be viewed as equally as Primeape and others
But why not Golem or Marowak?
So Bruno is about the physical aspect of fighting, not the martial arts aspect so the hard rock body of Onix might just fit the best
And I can see Onix fitting that more than Poliwrath with its toad body and Marowak where outside of its bone aspect also doesn’t fit
Maybe Golem admittedly might be better but also could be balance as Golem is on the same power level as Machamp which is his ace
Agatha and all the poison types
So this is the major of the don’t have enough of that type to fill the team situation. And it’s not like there are a lot of ghostly Pokemon in Gen 1 outside of the obvious Gengar line
Ghost-type in the TCG are all under the psychic type
And a lot of poison types are as well
The dark type didn’t exist yet as that’s where some poison and ghost types would later be classified under so, for now, it’s psychic
So her type is ghost but in the TCG she’s another psychic user as Gengar isn’t a ghost/poison it’s just another psychic type
So where Sabrina has the more mental and telepathy aspect of the psychic type
Agatha leans more into the supernatural and darker aspect hence the ghost type
So that’s where Pokémon like Arbok (a snake that hunts in the night) and Golbat (a cave dwelling animal) come in
And since it’s before dark types are introduced you naturally don’t have dark type options otherwise Agatha would almost certainly be a dark type specialist or at least use them over other Pokemon
Other poison types don’t really fit as Grimer can be grass for example
If post Gen 1 then you can maybe make her a dark type specialist but with the whole point of Kanto it wouldn’t really make sense to give her either Johto and beyond Pokémon like Murkrow or an Alolan Pokemon like Persian and Muk
Lance and the False Dragons
So another case of there just aren’t enough dragons for Lance to have a full team in Kanto
But in this case, it really isn’t the TCG that helps
As even when first coming out there wasn’t a dragon TCG type and dragons were colorless type
Dragonite line was first colorless in the TCG
So they like many have stated before leaned more into the dragon-like or monster quality of dragons
Hence why Gyarados and Aerodactyl are seen as good fill-ins
Only thing I can think of is that maybe you play into Lance the bird keeper joke as all his Pokémon are flying type and flying type is colorless in the TCG as well
So Colorless is as much flying type as it is Dragon type
And of the flying types in Gen 1 excluding the legendary birds those three are the most qualified to be grouped with the dragon type
The only ones that could maybe argue for (Gen 1) are Fearow because it looks the most fierce of the normal birds and Charizard which they did do in GSC but that’s it
So again Lorelei is water leaning more towards the cold unlike Misty
Bruno is fighting but more physical aspect and not martial arts like the fighting dojo
Agatha is psychic but more supernatural and dark unlike Sabrina and the mental telekinetic aspect
Lance is colorless with a leaning towards the dragons and monsters of the air

Alright, so; about the Pokemon I was planning on having evolve while guarding Luminos castle. Obviously in all cases it's going to involve some ghosts making it past Dragonair's lightshow barricade one way or another (apart from Dragonair's own evolution which will involve fighting a particularly powerful ghost so it can't rip the barricade to shreds).
Jet's Eevee evolves into a ghost-type eeveelution I call Guardeon, which is based on Church Grims and usually only evolves in graveyards but massive ghost hurricane works too apparently. Not sure when exactly it happens. Jet's Guardeon has the ability Enspirit (the one I made up that's basically Pixelate but Ghost), so now its best moves are Super-Effective against the ghost army instead of doing absolutely nothing.
Ash's Mutant Kirlia evolves while helping Valiant and some guards deal reclaim an Armory that got taken over by a bunch of ghosts that focus on possessing objects...like all the weapons and armor in there. Also the guards find out the hard way that the Mutant Ralts line is just as amorphous as the Grimers and Muks they're hybrids with because at one point Kirlia gets cut clean down the middle down to her waist and just schlorps back together as if nothing happened after drooping like a banana peel for a few seconds.
Miku's Donandan Dragonair ends up facing a massive, extremely powerful Music Dragon named Dirge that was slain by Luminos' previous Songbird. She eventually manages to take him down via a combination of being a Dragon/Ice Type with Refrigerate and a bunch of debuffing moves, Dirge only becoming a ghost a few minutes ago and thus still having the muscle memory of a living dragon, and Dragonair evolving into a regional evolution called Dragaurora (stays Dragon/Ice, ends up as a big green serpentine dragon with a Dragonite-esque face and whiskers. They get mistaken for Rayquaza a lot and are based on that one aurora borealis that looks like a green dragon that was a whole big thing a few years ago) and learning Dragon Ascent (you can understand why they get mistaken for Rayquaza so much). End result is that he gets a diving supersonic dragon between the shoulderblades immediately followed by a planet to the chest. Doesn't discorporate him but it does knock him out for the rest of the arc.
Also, not evolution-related, but I'm guessing that when Lumiere shows up wanting to help Absol's the one who vouches for him, on the grounds that according to her Danger Sense there's a considerably higher chance of them failing if they don't hear him out than there is a chance of him stabbing them in the back if they do, and the latter they'd at least see coming and be able to deal with since, you know, it's him.

Grimer
... Okay. I see where this is going.
So, how would I tickle a Grimer? Its body is made of sludge and grime, hence the name. Being a pure sludge monster, using ice or fire moves to solidify it could be a way to go, but then it becomes more like an armor that they can't move through. I feel like trying to tickle their shell wouldn't work, and making a open crack would let them escape unless it's very small.
So that's why, if we really want to tickle Grimer, we need to first get tools that won't be disintegrated by his sludge. So, once again, wires to a solidified body seems like the answer, right? Well... the electricity would probably crack the shell and break it. So I have another Pokémon to introduce to the fray! As a fellow poison type, Haunter can easily phase and dig their claws through Grimer's shell and tease them like crazy!
Quick doodle for a proof of concept!

I will gladly interact with you! Send an ask! @ me! I would love to RP with you. I will do an (IC) promo if you ask (assuming i'm popular enough for that lmao)!
Hello Hello ~
My name is Tix (they/them, occasionally it/its), and welcome to my rotomblr blog! I'm 23, I'm from Unova and i have a small café on Route 3 right outside Striaton City. If you don't find it, just look for the Daycare on the hill, walk up that hill and look for the building at the foot of the hill! And now come in and get a cupcake, you earned it!
Don't be alarmed by the poison types around here! Most of them are registered to me and are completely harmless unless you touch them. They are also friendly, so if you wanna pet them, ask me! I'll gladly provide handling advice.
I also have an employee, Olivia. I might occasionally mention him. Maybe she'll also make a few post here and there.
There is also Brandy, my Rotom. Let's hope they can behave!
As for my Pokémon, there are a few! [Complete list of Pokémon including retcons at the end in the ooc section]
My Koffing, Coffee! The shop's named after him! Look at his FABULOUS moustache!
Bienenstich the Scolipede, she's very good with kids. If you need someone to look after your toddler, she's the gal! (i am so not kidding)
Cream the Haunter. No, your drink isn't haunted, she just helps me out a bit.
Muffin the Roselia, he's the primary gardener. I would do more around there but he doesn't let me.
Poppy the Toxicroak, he's a cool guy. He also makes music with me.
Basil the Toxtricity. Best bassist i've ever met (sorry Roxie).
Carrot Cake the Clodsire. He doesn't do much, but that's okay.
Rhubarb the Ekans. Little rascal. Don't trip over him.
Eggplant the Skorupi. He's new, still getting to know him myself!
Soup the Grimer is also quite new. I hatched him from a strange egg.
Also here's three pics of me. (//i forgor what the picrew were. if anyone knows, let me know)
//Pelipper Mail is on
//I will draw your OCs badly
OOC below the cut:
// Hi, hello. I run this blog as a side blog, so I'll like and follow from my main @fire-water-grass-core. If you need to address me (the player/mun), I'm okay with any pronouns, and if you need a name you can call me Kama, Nox or Cheese. I also run:
@zekrom-sword where i explore some darker themes (ig?) regarding pokémon hunting. This blog is less focused on blogging though and goes more into headcanon/fanfic territory. I'm happy to RP with Felix (muse over there) though!
@fire-water-grass-core is the main, as mentioned. Originally it was planned for that one to be a personal blog for Olivia, Tix' employee, but i didn't really get into it. I mostly use it for OOC stuff regarding rotomblr ig?
@kamataros is my general, non-pkmn-irl blog. idk what you would want there? but feel free to check it out. I post a lot of shit and a lot of it is untagged.
NOW for the rules ig?
ZERO: don't be a dick. easy, right? right. This is the important part :)
First: blanket #unreality warning. I will tag posts usually as pokemon irl, #pkmn irl or #pokeblogging. The actual unreality tag is reserved that genuinely blends reality and fiction (such as talking about animals in the context of the pokemon world.)
Second: i went on a BIG hiatus for like 6 months. I've retconned a few things, but i didn't want to actually go through the blog and delete stuff. Instead, i tagged all old posts as #Koffing-Time-1.0. Everything with this tag is not neccesarily canon anymore. case-to-case basis i guess.
Third: If anything comes up, I'll try to put a warning tag. I'll keep it to one format: #cw [trigger]. I will probably still use them sparingly, since i'm personally okay with most things. Please tell me if i should tag something.
Fourth: I won't participate in high stakes a lot and probably never in ultra stakes. Everything will be appropriately tagged #high stakes pokereality on the off chance that i do join. I don't think i will be getting into details like "low stakes" and "medium stakes" for tagging.
Fifth: Regarding sentient/sapient pokémon: they are allowed. I might ignore them if i ever do any story-arcs or so, but go ahead! (this was different for 1.0)
Sixth: Ask games will be tagged with #ask game. Once i reblog them, they are open indefinitely, including old ones from #Koffing-Time-1.0. The tag will be for the initial meme only, not the answers to make it possible to find them. Generally, please put the question for the meme into your ask, especially if it's an older ask game. (Feel free to ask Brandy or Olivia as well, but if not specified it will be Tix answering)
Seventh: DMs are an OOC zone :)
OTHER TAGS:
I'm trying to use a funny tagging system for blogs i "frequently" interact with (as in.. i am not chronically on tumblr so "frequently" is a bit much to say)
Out of Character posts will be tagged with #ooc . This goes only for posts where a significant portion is ooc.
Out of Character answers to asks will be tagged #cheesy answers
Out of Character notes will be marked as // or //ooc (including tags)
I might reblog art or even posts that tix isn't involved in. these will be tagged #//reblog
Posts involving details about certain headcanons will be tagged #headcanon
Image descriptions or Video description will be in [brackets] .
Also here is a (not complete) list of a few headcanons that i use.
I'll update and edit this post as well as reblog it if something changes.
Lastly
I, Cheese, Mun will use pink coloured text in addition to the //
Tix will be writing/talking in colourless text
Olivia will be writing/talking in blue text
Brandy will be writing/talking in red text
otherwise, i won't use much colours in posts. this intro blog stuff will be the exception to make it easier to read (i hope)
That being said: feel free to interact, feel free to send a DM, feel free to send asks, I'm happy to do offscreen posts and RP and whatnot, I won't bite and i won't poison you. Probably.
PS: little thing about reblog chains (i guess?)
Now, that was a long one. If you read it all, congratulations, have a cookie. Or a coffee. And most importantly: have fun!
PPS: Here's a list of Tix'Pokémon:
Coffee the Koffing
Muffin the Roselia
Bienenstich the Scolipede
Cream the Haunter
Poppy the Toxicroak
Basil the Toxtricity
Cracker the Murkrow (retconned) [it hurt me to do this but there are so many already] (never fucking mind i love them too much i can't delete them)

JOURNAL 12. LOCATION: GOLDENROD CITY
<<Hey you! Sorry that it's been a minute since I last checked in. After my last entry, I wanted to make up for lost time, so I just...took off! A lot has happened since then, and I'm super excited to fill you in. ❤️
Whoever you are!! I've been thinking about that more, lately. Who's reading this? Am I just writing to nobody? Am I gonna give this Pokegear over to someone when I'm all done with my journey?
Well, whoever you are, I hope life's going well for you! It's getting better for me. 😊
Now, let's see...
Most importantly, I beat Bugsy to get the Hive Badge!! Honestly, after everything that my team and I had been through, I was pretty confident in our chances. THAT BEING SAID, Bugsy had a few tricks up his sleeve that nearly won him the fight! His Ledian almost swept through my entire team with elemental punches...scary! If it weren't for Fabian's Rollout attacks on Ledian and Scyther, along with a few well-timed dodges, we would have been toast!!
My team seriously has an Ice weakness. Trouble would have been great in that fight...I'm sure he was watching over us. I have to believe that, otherwise I'll feel all sad again.
Bugsy's Gym and Ilex were full of creepy-crawlies, by the way, but I was so focused that I barely noticed them. Bugs still kind of creep me out, but I'm not so scared of them anymore. Growlithe and Houndour, on the other hand...
It was an easy trip through Ilex. We stopped to pay homage to the ancient Forest Shrine there, rescued some worker's Farfetch'd, and I got to teach my Pokemon more cool hidden moves. Fabian is already sharpening his cut skills on choppable trees and tall grass, and Minerva...well, she won't stop headbutting things that she thinks are threats. (I know that both of them are working hard to protect me, which is sweet.)
After leaving the Forest, I got to visit the Pokemon Day Care and reunite with my Togepi, Toki! They had been taking good care of him, and had another mysterious Egg to give me. I don't mean to brag, but I'm getting pretty good at caring for those things...and look!! It already hatched into an adorable little Cleffa! ❤️ Oh my gosh, I can't stop looking at the picture I took--CUTE. His name is PINK, and my Pokemon already are super overprotective of him...I guess he'll be coming with us! He's with some strong company, so I'm not worried at all.
As I was making my way up the route, I had a chance to catch an Abra, but it blinked away before I could even toss a Ball at it! Another failed catch. 😭😭😭 How cool would it have been if I had actually caught one? Come on, I can't be the only one who watches Sabrina's movies and battles on TV...!!
All I can say is that we all made it to Goldenrod. Honestly, I never thought I'd make it this far...and this is the biggest, busiest place that I've ever been to, even though it's so late. Part of me wants to explore even more, but that'll have to wait until tomorrow. I'm about to sink into this Pokecenter bed like a Grimer. Or something. It's laaaate and I'm done being creative.
Pink is nestled into Lumi's wool, and Minerva and Fabian are taking turns watching over both them and me. I'm lucky to have such a great team, huh?
I'm so tired, but happy to write all this out and catch you up. I think we're going to be alright.>>

Chapter 22- Part 2
Alright, Kirin can’t really deal with a partial Dark-type…but Prong most certainly can!
With a quad weakness to Bug, X-Scissor should be really good here.
Aha, wrong barrier, buddy! Prong’s not using any special moves this time!
And as for Misdreavus, I think it’s safe to use Glare again, like we did with Shedinja.
Now, this Misdreavus does have Confusion, but that’s not gonna stop Glare from Crunching down on this ghost!
Alright, and with the bridge cleared yet again, we can finally arrive at Grand Hall! And with that, we can do some final leveling, and then we should be good!
(One surprisingly painless leveling session later…)
And there we go! Man, after all that time we spent between the second and third Badges, I forgot that level grinding could be convenient and less tedious. Anyways, here’s what the team looks like now:
And yes, I gave the Rose Incense back to Bloom. Now then, back to Lapis Ward we go!
Alright Cain, here we go, I am so much better-equipped to deal with your Poison-types than before! I have a Ground-type, even!
Oh, he’s opening with Brionne! Okay, well- it probably still has Icy Wind or some other Ice-type move, so I’ll send in Prong instead of Bloom for this.
Well, Bubble Beam is a bit hindering, but after Charge...
Yeah, I’ll heal Prong with a Super Potion real fast, then we’ll actually attack- at that point, Bubble Beam shouldn’t be doing too much.
And now, it’s heckin’ Charge Beam time!
Now, normally that amount of damage wouldn’t be ideal, I mean it didn’t even take off half of Brionne’s HP. However, with the +1 to Sp. Attack, I think that slight boost will be enough for a second Charge Beam to finish it off.
And I was right! Now, Marowak…but which Marowak is he gonna use? The Kantonian or the Alolan Forme? Well- actually, no matter which one he uses, Riptide can deal with either. If it’s normal Marowak, he’s got Ice Fang; if it’s Alolan Marowak, he’s got Crunch.
Aha, it’s the Ghost-type variant! Crunch it is, then! Which…doesn’t actually kill!
And it’s using Will-O-Wisp too! Okay, well…maybe this isn’t such an issue. Riptide still has Water Gun, which isn’t affected by the Burn status, and even though it’s a weak move, Marowak is at such low HP…I think it’ll work.
There’s that Grimer that used to give me a bit of trouble! Luckily, we’ve got Crater this time to definitively deal with it!

me when i try to mimic ken sugimoris artstyle and fail miserably
anyways a made a common ancestor pokemon for milcery, grimer, and sinistea heres some bullshit about it
this pokemon protected itself by hiding in apricorn shells, making it possibly one of the first pokemon captured by primitive versions of poke balls. It is very small, although its sliminess makes it easy to fall out of ones' hands. It's theorized that the spirits of this pokemon are what haunts teacups and teapots to create the modern day sinistea and polteageist, as hiding in circular objects is a natural instinct of theirs.
This pokemon was so tied to humans that it adapted as human civilization grew. The ones in more urbanized areas adapted into grimer, while the more rural ones became milcery. Due to their trust and feeling of safety around humans, they stopped wearing apricorns as shells.
This pokemon was unique in that it's secondary typing changed depending on the color of the apricorn it hid in, but it's primary type is always fairy.
Black apricorns made them steel type, blue apricorns made them water type, white apricorns ice type, green ones grass type, pink ones psychic type, red ones fire type, and yellow ones electric type. This also seemed to have affected the moves they learned.
