apologies if someone has already made this type of post, because I’ve had the tag blocked for a couple days as I’ve only just been able to watch the stream, but here is all the new hatchetfield lore we learned in the hatchetfield halloween party livestream (sorry if I forgot something):
greenpeace girl’s name is harmony jones
in 2005, wilbur cross murdered douglas keane senior (duke’s dad), who was the sheriff of hatchetfield at the time. we have no idea why or how.
pamela foster refused to go to the hospital when giving birth, and hannah almost died in childbirth. lex psychically felt her dying, and activated her powers for the first time, reaching through the black and white and teleporting her outside the womb. by saving hannah, she apparently saved the entire universe
ted has died the most times out of any hatchetfield character but we all knew that. every time the world ends, he dies twice (main ted and homeless guy).
doctor laszlo, the doctor who sewed hannah’s finger back on in yellow jacket, is a mad scientist who claims to have “conquered death” and will feature in the possible NMT3 story “Frankenruth”.
bill has a literal soulmate, though we don’t know who it is (sylvia?? his ex-wife?? TED?? no idea)
in at least one timeline, becky and tom are engaged and have a baby called marie <3
hidgens is either haunted by the ghosts of the workin boys, haunted by evil creatures pretending to be the workin boys, or insane and hallucinating ghosts of the workin boys. they seem to be led by chad, who is confirmed to NOT be pokey in the workin boys short film, chad was genuinely just a guy hidgens liked, but it is unclear whether or not the chad the ghosts talk about is the real chad or something else.
tim houston has a crush on the “mature and totally cool” grace chasity
duke is getting married to someone else and my life is over and nothing will ever be okay again đź‘Ť
I will also transcribe the episode descriptions for the possible NMT3 episodes and other projects and post that in a bit :)

for those unable to attend the livestream i present:
NOTES FROM THE HATCHETFIELD HALLOWEEN PARTY 14th October 2023, 01:00 BST (my time!) / 13th October 2023, 17:00 PDT (their time!)
Note: These notes are at times a little nonsensical and useless and just quotes. This is because it lasted from 01:00-04:00 for me meaning I was incredibly tired. Please bear with <3
Section 1: Nerdy Prudes Must Die talkback
Started with chiptune of Feast or Famine and then chiptune of Jane’s A Car
Steph’s dad may be dead but at least she has a boyfriend <3
Joey was eating beef and potato stew for most of the first segment
When Jeff was asked for the inspiration for The Summoning: “[…] I don’t know. That just popped in my head. It could be true.”  (His answer was Wizard of Oz.)
Section 2: Hatchet Town Trivia Challenge
I tried to keep track of “chat vs cast” points but lost count and failed rather miserably
Nora’s last name is Beanie. Nora Beanie
Jeff is “an avid lover of baby-water” (water pure enough for babies to drink) and “widely known as Doctor Spreadsheets” (my notes just say “baseball game”)
Every time the world destroys, Ted dies twice: once as Ted, once as homeless guy
Lex helped deliver Hannah by teleporting her out of the womb through the Black and White
Greenpeace Girl’s name is Harmony Jones!
Wilbur Cross murdered Duke Senior (Duke Keane’s dad) this may be explored in future.
Section 3: Workin’ Boys
All of my “notes” here are just gushing about the characters. I have written nothing useful enough to be put here
Section 4: Workin’ Boys talkback
Chad was not included in WB because it was deemed that nobody could live up to the legend. This spawned the “Darren 4 Chad” movement in chat
The Workin’ Boys album will be out around next week if all goes to plan. It is 5 tracks and would include Mariah’s version of the Show Stoppin’ Number monologue as well as at least some of her singing it (as seen in the show; hoping for a full version!!)
Mariah’s character in the audience was called Woman.
Lauren’s character in the audience was Courtney, Thrash’s girlfriend from Killer Track
Paul Gabriel’s character was Paul Gabriel
Linda Monroe auditioned for Workin’ Girls and was the only one who didn’t get a part (Ruth was chosen over her). This is why she was happy to see it crash and burn
The programmes made for Workin’ Girls had very detailed bios, which hopefully when in full quality will be readable when paused. This may set up the potential for the Workin’ Girls actresses to be in future HF projects where this can be explored
Jaime will hopefully be in the next Starkid musical!!!!
The Black Book was originally supposed to debut in Workin’ Boys, in its original form in 2020
The 2020 version was planned as a feature-length film but eventually it was decided that it was confusing and remodelled.
The Summoning was supposed to be in Workin’ Boys – the producer would have tricked Hidgens into making the girls perform a ritual; it was realised that this didn’t make much sense so the song was transferred to NPMD
Section 5: The Future Of Hatchetfield
Hatchetfield was supposed to be finished by 2020
Starkid is not going to be exclusively Hatchetfield in the future; their next full-length musical will not be Hatchetfield
NMT3 is hopefully going to happen provided there is enough interest! It was supposed to happen in the same year as NMT2 but they take a long time to write (much longer than a full musical) so that couldn’t happen
NMT3 would conclude Lex and Hannah’s story after Yellow Jacket
It would be produced more face to face like a TV show – Nick said “less Zoom call-y”
It would include stories withheld from NMT1 and NMT2
It would entirely depend on how much interest, particularly views on NMT2.
It would be Halloween themed.
“More things akin to Workin’ Boys would be nice” - Nick
The episodes would be:
Bottle Imps
“Bill Woodward has been chosen to test CCRP’s latest and greatest product: Bottle Imps. These reality-bending buddies will bring their owner the one thing they desire most. When his new imp, Lovely, leads him to his soulmate, Bill decides to use his magical companion to play matchmaker. But to help Charlotte find the man of her dreams, Bill will have to bend the Imp’s rules. Rules he’s been warned, must never be broken…”
Frankenruth
“Desperate to see a naked body, Ruth Fleming and Richie Lipschitz volunteer at the morgue of St. Damian’s Hospital. Their terrible plan becomes exponentially more terrible, when they become unwitting subjects in the experiments of the body-snatching madman, Doctor Lazlo, who claims to have conquered death itself. If Hatchetfield thought Ruth was bad before, then they will cower before the unspeakable horror of… Frankenruth!”
Becky Barnes Climbed A Tree
“Becky Barnes is on top of the world! Not in a literal sense, of course. She’s deathly afraid of heights. After years of struggle, Becky’s life is finally everything she dreamed it would be. She’s engaged to her High School sweetheart, Tom Houston, and the two have a surprise baby on the way! But as the couple prepared for the arrival of Baby Marie, a shadow from Becky’s past returns to haunt them.”
Devil’s Night
“Tim Houston has a crush. Unfortunately, it’s on his older, mature, and totally cool babysitter, Grace Chasity, who he fears will never see him as anything but a snot-nosed little kid. But when a devilish maniac with murderous designs on Grace attacks Hatchetfield the night before Halloween, Tim must protect his beloved, or join the killer’s growing body count. It’s another slashing adventure on the night HE came home… Devil’s Night.”
Miss Holloween
“It’s Halloween in Hatchetfield once again, and Miss Holloway is celebrating the same way she’s done for decades, staving off the horrors that go bump in the night. But when Duke gives her an invitation to his wedding, the dejected Miss Holloway begins to chafe under the terms of a contract forged many years ago. She strikes a new bargain, but unfortunately her creditors are known for their tricks, not treats. Just as Miss Holloway gives up her powers in exchange for a mortal life, a monstrous new threat rears its ugly head. As All Hallows Eve descends, and all Hell breaks loose, Miss Holloway must save the town or die trying… for real this time.”
Orbweaver
“Lex Foster had a life once. A home. A boyfriend. Now there is only the road, and her sister, and the fear of the men who are hunting them. As Hannah Foster watches Lex sink deeper into despair, she is certain of only three things: Webby is gone. She cannot help them. They are alone. Elsewhere, an old soldier awakens from a catatonic state. Returned from some unimaginable Hell with a mission. He knows that somewhere two magical girls require immediate evac… then maybe some coffee.”
As NPMD was conceived of first, it was supposed to be a Nerdy Prudes series: Nerdy Prudes Must Die, Horny Campers Must Die… (this was turned into NMT2’s Abstinence Camp)
The next Hatchetfield full-length musical would probably be about Miss Holloway if there was enough interest.
There is the possibility of a full movie set in Hatchetfield if there is enough interest. (Workin’ Boys was like a trial for how Hatchetfield works in film)
It would be called Cast Party Massacre
“The Hatchetfield Community Players. You will never find a cattier troupe of two-faced thespians. But when the blood begins to flow at their latest show’s cast party, they must consider: is there a secret murderer in their midst? And more importantly, who amongst them is a good enough actor to pull off such a performance? Can they set aside their petty squabbles and tangled romances, or is it curtains for this ensemble? Who will survive… the Cast Party Massacre!”
It would possibly feature the girls from Workin’ Boys.
The licencing rights to TGWDLM will be available soon!
#that took fucking AGES to type out#it's almost 5am now i'm going to bed#thhat was SUCH a good livestream though!!!#starkid#npmd spoilers#<- vaguely? a little? best be safe#hall of fame#yapping

Thinking about this bit again today.
Like, it's a cool moment, and it's kinda cute. But also...
Yeah, Banner is ALWAYS angry. And in the movies, we see that primarily as angry about his "condition" and how it means he has to isolate.
But Bruce is a scientist and a doctor. He went to slums on the otherside of the world to isolate, but still helped people. And he left his isolation because he knew it would help people.
I think it's entirely reasonable to theorise that he's angry about the world and how so many people are suffering because of a few billionaires.
I could easily see Hulk being used as a tool to force change. Some protestors try to get an oil field shut down, whatever. The law will prevent that cuz money. Oil derricks won't be bright down by a boat full of Greenpeace volunteers.
But if Hulk shows up and demolishes an oil derrick or a coal power plant, or whatever billionaire's latest public interest-stopping pet project, what are you going to do? Sure, they'll rebuild. But it's very difficult to stop the Hulk, and he can just keep showing up and wrecking the place and leaving green energy stuff alone, and the people who only care about money will eventually have to recognize that carbon producing power is literally more money than it's worth.
Hulk can show up to genocides and smash tanks and block bullets aimed at innocents. Sure, he can't be everywhere, but at a certain point, say, Israel, is going to have to recognize that they are losing all their soldiers to the Hulk. Even a hateful ideologue will cut bait when it's obvious they will fail.
Now, obviously Marvel Studios would never, and even the comics would do some "he has a point but this is wrong too" bullshit.
But I think Bruce Banner, if he's a actually a heroic man who wants to help people, would at least think about it

AITA for asking my husband to run over his girlfriend?
So I (F36) and my husband (M34) got into a car crash with our son (M10) about a year and a half ago. He was driving, he didn't see the car coming towards us, etc etc. Now, one of my clients (I'm a psychiatrist) gave me this tape of him documenting some findings in a really old book. I can't go into too much detail ofc because of doctor patient confidentiality, but in short, the gibberish on the tape turned out to be a soul transfer spell, and when that other car hit us, my soul went into our car and my body is declared dead.
Now, one and a half years later, the mechanic my husband took me to finishes the repairs, and on our way home, I see my husband talking to his ex-girlfriend (F34). They were an item in highschool, but apparently they rekindled that flame while I was gone.
Then I hear my son talking about his old girlfriend like she's some maternal figure to him, which, understandably, really pisses me off. He said it's nothing so I told him to go stop by her house and end that "nothing". But then he stays in there suspiciously long and I think to myself you know what? Nuh uh. I'm not about to take chances like that. I mean, he's my husband! He should've gotten over his new love the MOMENT he found out I wasn't dead, right??
And then she comes out after him, which is pretty convenient for me, so I started chasing her. He wasn't too happy about that ofc but he would've gotten over it. He got over me within a year.
So eventually I manage to hit her, right? Next thing I know I'm in the hospital being referred to with her name, so I know it worked. I ask what happened to the car with the other girl's soul in it and they tell me it's being scrapped. Sucks for her but good LORD she shouldn't have been a homewrecker!
However, my husband is now in jail for attempting a hit and run on some girl from Greenpeace earlier so now I'm wondering if I was the asshole here. I think I was justified, I just wanted my life back, but I feel a little guilty about getting my husband sent to jail.
AITA?

The Eighth Doctor during the Time War in Heaven, a "grandfather paradox" of undone Moments
Okay so this is just a canon-weld in pure in-universe style, like a wiki article (because I really enjoy writing it like that much more than in the style of a historical article). The parts that are just completely made up are written in bold, but do remember that this is all, at least partially, speculation (although I'd love to convince many of this account)
The Eighth Doctor appears to end the War (NOVEL: The Ancestor Cell), in reality "falling out" of it (SHORT STORY: The Story So Far...), with the fallen Gallifrey's Matrix becomes trapped within his mind (NOVEL: *The Gallifrey Chronicles*). Eventually, he attempted to restore it at the end of the universe, thus creating the Imperial Throneworld (NOVEL: *Hope*) as some kind of temporal echo (read: similar description) of Gallifrey Eight (NOVEL: *The Taking of Planet 5*). Eventually, the Doctor, now calling himself the Emperor (NOVEL: *Father Time*), travelled back into the War to rule a decadent splinter of Faction Paradox, led by Mother Mathara, and called himself "Grandfather Paradox" - but not being the true Grandfather of House Paradox (REF: AHistory extract) - invading Gallifrey and apparently destroying it (NOVEL: *The Ancestor Cell* from Grandpa P.'s perspective) using the Moment (SHORT STORY: *Doctor Who and the Time War*) to apparently end the War. However, this instead "rewound time" so that the Eighth Doctor had never interacted with the future War, and in order to do this, the universe prevented him from ever returning to Sam Jones in the Greenpeace rally (NOVEL: *Vampire Science*), which started his intersection with the War (NOVEL: *Alien Bodies*), instead travelling Charley Pollard (AUDIO series: Main Range), Lucie Miller (AUDIO series: The Eighth Doctor Adventures - Series 1-4), Molly O'Sullivan and Liv Chenka (AUDIO boxset: *Dark Eyes 1-2*), before eventually (NOTE 1) using the Moment in an attempt to end the Time War by destroying Gallifrey (SHORT STORY: *Doctor Who and the Time War*), but instead rewinding time again to make it so that he never pressed the button (SHORT STORY: *Out of the Box*), which actualised in an extended history past his adventures with Molly O'Sullivan, including further adventures with Liv Chenka (AUDIO series: Dark Eyes 2-4) alongside new companion Helen Sinclair (AUDIO series: Doom Coalition - AUDIO boxset: Connections) and later dorning his final outfit, travelling with Josie Day (COMIC series: *Doctor Who: The Eighth Doctor*), dealing with the Kutturah Crisis (MULTIMEDIA: Time Lord Victorious), and finally aiding in the Time War with companion Bliss (AUDIO series: *The Eighth Doctor: Time War*), ultimately regenerating on Karn into the War Doctor (LIVE ACTION: *The Night of the Doctor*), who refused to use the Moment (LIVE ACTION: *The Day of the Doctor*), instead teaming up with all his incarnations, past and future, to extract Gallifrey into a "parallel pocket universe" (NOVEL: *The Day of the Doctor*), finally regenerating (NOVEL: The Day of the Doctor, SHORT STORY: Doctor Who and the Time War) into the Ninth Doctor LIVE ACTION: *Rose*).
NOTE 1 - the Doctor says he "has the right" (contra Genesis of the Daleks), and the Master is resurrected (referencing The Sound of Drums), also came out before 2013's The Night of the Doctor, although this is a weaker point because it could still the Ninth Doctor.
When I wrote this (7th of June 2023), I believed it. Since then, and before posting (9th), I now don't but shall share regardless because I enjoyed writing it, and someone may like it.

It's weird thinking about exactly how much the Eighth Doctor got up to after he left Sam at the Greenpeace rally...
(if you believe the wiki timeline that is)
He....
- Travelled with Stacey and Ssard
- Went through almost all of his comic adventures with Izzy, Kroton and Destrii
- Reunited with Grace, twice
- Reunited with Benny, twice
- Dreamed about John and Gillian
- Battled against Cybermen from the far future
And that's just the main stuff...

NGO Services: Building Bridges to a Better Tomorrow
In a world filled with social, economic, and environmental challenges, the role of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) has never been more critical. NGOs, often seen as the backbone of humanitarian and social development, provide essential services to the most vulnerable communities. From disaster relief to education and healthcare, NGOs work tirelessly to create a more equitable and sustainable world. But what exactly do NGO services entail, and why are they so essential in today’s society?
Understanding NGOÂ Services
NGOs are non-profit organizations that operate independently of government influence, though they often work closely with governments and other organizations to address issues that affect society as a whole. Their services are varied and depend on the cause or sector they focus on, such as poverty alleviation, human rights, environmental protection, or education.
NGO services are rooted in the principle of social responsibility — they exist to serve communities and individuals who lack access to basic resources and rights. Unlike businesses, NGOs are not driven by profit, but by a mission to create positive change and improve the lives of others.
Key Areas of NGOÂ Services
Healthcare Services One of the primary areas where NGOs provide invaluable services is healthcare. In regions where public health systems are inadequate or overwhelmed, NGOs step in to offer essential medical services. They provide vaccinations, maternal care, nutrition programs, mental health support, and HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, among other critical services.
During times of crisis, such as pandemics or natural disasters, NGOs often operate on the frontlines, providing emergency medical care and helping to prevent the spread of diseases. Organizations like Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) are globally recognized for their ability to provide rapid response medical care in conflict zones and disaster-hit regions.
Education and Skill Development Education is a key driver of social development, yet millions of children around the world lack access to quality education. NGOs play a vital role in filling this gap. From building schools in remote areas to providing scholarships and school supplies, NGOs work to ensure that children and adults alike have the opportunity to learn and improve their lives.
NGOs also offer vocational training and skill development programs, especially in developing countries. These programs equip individuals with the skills they need to secure employment, improve their economic standing, and break the cycle of poverty.
Environmental Conservation With climate change posing an existential threat to our planet, NGOs have taken up the mantle of environmental protection. They run campaigns to raise awareness about environmental issues, work on conservation projects, and advocate for sustainable policies. Whether it’s preserving rainforests, protecting endangered species, or promoting clean energy, NGOs are at the forefront of the fight for environmental sustainability.
Organizations like Greenpeace and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) lead global initiatives to protect biodiversity and combat climate change. Their work helps ensure that future generations inherit a planet that is capable of sustaining life.

What is an NGO and Why is it Important?
In today's complex world, addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges often requires more than just government intervention. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) have emerged as powerful entities that play a crucial role in fostering social change, providing aid, and advocating for human rights. But what exactly is an NGO, and why is it so important? In this blog, we'll explore the definition, functions, and significance of NGOs in India.
Introduction
NGOs are essential actors in the global landscape, working tirelessly to address issues ranging from poverty and education to healthcare and environmental conservation. They operate independently of government influence, allowing them to advocate for marginalized communities and tackle issues that may not be prioritized by state entities. This independence also enables NGOs to respond quickly to crises and innovate in ways that governments and businesses might not be able to.
1. What is an NGO?
A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is a non-profit group that operates independently of any government, typically to address social, political, environmental, or humanitarian issues. NGOs can vary greatly in size and scope, from small, local organizations focusing on community-specific issues to large international entities working across multiple countries.
NGOs are often driven by a specific mission, such as promoting education, providing disaster relief, or advocating for human rights. Unlike governmental organizations, NGOs rely heavily on donations, grants, and volunteers to carry out their work. This reliance on public and private support allows them to maintain a degree of independence, enabling them to pursue their missions without direct government oversight.
2. The Different Types of NGOs
NGOs can be classified based on their orientation and level of operation:
Charitable NGOs: These focus on direct service delivery, such as providing food, shelter, and medical care. Examples include Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders.
Advocacy NGOs: These organizations work to influence public policy and advocate for social, environmental, or political causes. Greenpeace and Amnesty International are prime examples.
Development NGOs: These groups focus on long-term development goals, such as education, economic development, and infrastructure. Oxfam and CARE are well-known development NGOs.
Operational NGOs: These organizations implement projects and services directly. They might be involved in activities such as building schools, drilling wells, or providing emergency relief in disaster-hit areas.
Networking NGOs: These serve as a network or coalition of organizations working towards common goals, such as the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
Understanding the types of NGOs helps in recognizing the vast range of activities they undertake and the various methods they use to achieve their goals.
3. Why are NGOs Important?
The importance of NGOs cannot be overstated. They play a critical role in society for several reasons:
a. Filling Gaps Left by Governments
Governments often lack the resources, expertise, or political will to address all the needs of their citizens. NGOs step in to fill these gaps, providing essential services such as healthcare, education, and disaster relief. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, many NGOs played a vital role in distributing food and medical supplies to communities that were otherwise overlooked.
b. Advocating for Marginalized Communities
NGOs often give a voice to those who are marginalized or oppressed. They advocate for human rights, environmental justice, and social equity, pushing for policy changes that benefit vulnerable populations. This advocacy work is crucial in holding governments and corporations accountable.
c. Promoting Sustainable Development
NGOs are key players in promoting sustainable development. They work on projects that aim to reduce poverty, improve education, and protect the environment, often in partnership with local communities. By focusing on long-term goals, NGOs help create sustainable solutions that benefit future generations.
d. Responding to Emergencies
In times of crisis, such as natural disasters or armed conflicts, NGOs are often among the first responders. Their ability to mobilize quickly and operate independently allows them to provide immediate assistance, such as food, shelter, and medical care, to those in need. Organizations like Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) are renowned for their work in conflict zones and disaster-stricken areas.
4. The Challenges NGOs Face
While NGOs are critical to social progress, they also face significant challenges:
a. Funding Limitations
NGOs often rely on donations and grants, which can be unpredictable. Limited funding can restrict the scope of their work and their ability to respond to emergencies.
b. Political Pressure
In some regions, NGOs face political pressure or restrictions from governments that see their work as a threat to state authority. This can hinder their operations and limit their impact.
c. Accountability and Transparency
As NGOs grow, maintaining transparency and accountability becomes more challenging. Donors and the public demand clear reporting on how funds are used and the impact of the NGO’s work.
d. Volunteer Retention
NGOs often depend on volunteers, and retaining these volunteers can be difficult, especially when the work is demanding and resources are limited.
Despite these challenges, NGOs continue to play an indispensable role in addressing global issues.
Conclusion
NGOs are a vital part of the global effort to address social, economic, and environmental issues. They provide essential services, advocate for the marginalized, promote sustainable development, and respond to emergencies. Their independence from government influence allows them to work directly with communities, often leading to more innovative and effective solutions.
However, NGOs also face significant challenges, from funding constraints to political pressures. Despite these hurdles, their importance in society remains undiminished, as they continue to be key drivers of positive change around the world.
Call to Action
If you're inspired by the work NGOs do, consider supporting them through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word about their causes. Every bit of support helps NGOs continue their vital work in making the world a better place.

How NGOs Are Changing the World
These organizations, which operate independently of government control, are dedicated to promoting social welfare, human rights, and sustainable development.
Their impact on society is profound, touching the lives of millions of people. This blog explores the multifaceted ways in which NGOs help society and the significant contributions they make towards creating a better world.
1. Providing Essential Services
One of the primary ways NGOs help society is by providing essential services that may not be adequately addressed by governments. These services include healthcare, education, clean water, and sanitation.
For instance, organizations like Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) offer medical care in conflict zones and areas affected by natural disasters.
Similarly, NGOs such as UNICEF work tirelessly to ensure that children have access to quality education and basic necessities.
2. Advocating for Human Rights
NGOs play a critical role in advocating for human rights and social justice. Organizations like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch work to protect individuals and communities from human rights abuses.
They conduct research, raise awareness, and put pressure on governments and other entities to uphold international human rights standards.
By advocating for marginalized and vulnerable groups, NGOs help create a more just and equitable society.
3. Promoting Sustainable Development
Sustainable development is at the heart of many NGO missions. These organizations work to balance economic growth with environmental conservation and social inclusion.
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Greenpeace, for example, are dedicated to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices.
They engage in activities ranging from conservation projects to lobbying for policy changes that address climate change and biodiversity loss.
4. Empowering Communities
NGOs often focus on empowering local communities by providing them with the tools, resources, and knowledge needed to improve their own lives.
Microfinance initiatives, like those run by Grameen Bank, offer small loans to entrepreneurs in developing countries, enabling them to start or expand their businesses.
This not only helps lift individuals out of poverty but also stimulates local economies.
5. Responding to Emergencies
In times of crisis, NGOs are often on the front lines, providing immediate relief and support.
Whether it’s a natural disaster, armed conflict, or a pandemic, organizations like the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies provide critical assistance such as food, shelter, medical care, and psychosocial support.
Their swift response can mean the difference between life and death for affected populations.
6. Enhancing Education
Education is a powerful tool for societal transformation, and many NGOs are dedicated to improving access to quality education.
Organizations like Room to Read and Teach For All work to reduce educational disparities by building schools, training teachers, and providing scholarships.
By investing in education, these NGOs help create opportunities for individuals to break the cycle of poverty and achieve their full potential.
7. Promoting Health and Well-being
Health is a fundamental human right, and numerous NGOs focus on promoting health and well-being.

Oh and fun fact since I have to prove myself
I actually HAVE donated to doctors without borders multiple times, to greenpeace also multiple tiles and donated to Amnesty international, + I have been to protests
It's not because I don't share it on my ig stories every time that I do it, that my money and actions aren't where my mouth is. Unlike you.
I followed you on Instagram a while ago. And now I found your tumblr. Your Instagram sometimes feels pathetic. You do spend a lot of time posting all those stories that no one even bothers reading, you should remember that. Even if you think you’re helping the world, you are not saving anyone; can’t even help yourself. All this “activism” stays in 0 because it’s just on Instagram and some links on your tumblr bio. I don’t mean to hate or anything, but I definitely think you should worry about yourself and not just random posts on Instagram that (again) no one reads. I was also reading your pinned post here and it says you have all these things you struggle, making everything trauma. Not everything is trauma. If you keep going on with this mindset you wouldn’t be a very good psychologist.
Maybe you don’t really have a purpose in life right now that’s why you do this and spend hours posting on Instagram. have a nice day. -@
I've actually been inpatient... So calling my trauma not trauma is insane when I've literally been abused in every sense of the word lol
I will be a good psychologist cause I don't go about hating on random people's blog that's 1. And second I have experience of what therapy is like, seen different psychologists and therapists, what other patients have struggled with and myself struggled with.
I'll have actual understanding about it.
Even my social worker and my own psychologist think I'll be great at it.
I don't make everything about me and I don't post that often on here as an OP
If you don't like my Instagram, then just unfollow?
I'm not asking you to watch my stories lol
I don't know what your deal is but of course you are anonymous... Says a lot about your character all of this

Physician, Heal Thyself, a sequel to the BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures
This post pertains to entirely fictitious and made-up information, apart from anything highlighted in green.
In 2024, after Russel T. Davies had returned to Doctor Who, a new series of original novels for the Eighth Doctor began named "Physician, Heal Thyself" (PHT), based on the Eighty Doctor's last words in The Night of the Doctor.
Before the first of these novels was published, a prelude was posted online by BBC Books (and later included in PHT 1) which included a post-The Gallifrey Chronicles Doctor, with Fitz and Triz, within a the TVM!TARDIS, as it was reset to that at the end of The Gallifrey Chronicles. However, this TARDIS collided with another TARDIS, which, it turns out, is home to the Eighth Doctor, earlier in his timeline - specifically, the Eighth Doctor of the Audacity boxset and it's sequels (this scene also featured in the audio story Blinovitched!, in one of Audacity's sequels). This breach of the Protocols of Linearity caused the "time differential" to "shorten out", which, on the Blinovitched! side of things made it look like only that Eighth Doctor survived, now with somewhat-hazy memories of the BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures happening in his past (retroactively explaining any EDA references in BF continuity, except for Charley stuff depending where you place that), but also more strongly remembering the Doctor Who Magazine adventures, and probably other "Greenpeace gap" adventures as I think that is the most logical place to slot Audacity, for now.
(there is an entire episodes worth of interaction between the two Eights, Trix/Fitz, and the companion of Audacity)
However, on the Prelude to "Physician, Heal Thyself" side, it is revealed that the EDA/PHT!Eighth Doctor also survived the Blinovitch encounter, but the only way to do it was to assert his unique identity with respect to Audacity, and so, with the help of Trix and Fitz, he reset the TARDIS console room back to the octagonal/pentagonal/whatever room from Escape Velocity and beyond. This process also left the Matrix within the Doctor's head to, well, fall out, and now it's still out there, but no one quite knows where (at least as of yet), and there's probably not enough information left incorrupt to bring back Gallifrey to its former glory (hooray!).
The first novel of Physician, Heal Thyself (codenamed PHT 1) would was a standard "the Doctor finds an alien plant, but something's amiss", whilst also concentrating on the after-effects of the Prelude. Early on, perhaps in PHT 10, Fitz will die. I know this was a contraversial decision, but he'd been there for most of the EDAs. Time to move on. But the Doctor will be stricken with grief for a long time, and Trix will help him through, along with whatever new companion they pick up.
Recurring characters in this series could be: The Emperor (villain, but also existential fear for the future of the Doctor), Marnal (villain/friend, keeps switching, sometimes lives in the TARDIS; often tries to find that discarded bit of Matrix), the "man with a rosette" (less of an enemy than the Master usually is, but only allies in order to fight the Council of Eight and bring back Gallifrey), the Council of Eight (I've heard their book is shit, so perhaps their quality gets revived, or perhaps they are killed off early on, I'm unsure), and the Infinity Doctor.
One of the novels would feature the scene with the Minister of Chance seen in The Tomorrow Windows, which seems to imply the Eighth Doctor will live through a Death Comes to Time - like event.
That's all for now
