Why are Greek letters used for programming (Delta, Beta, etc)?
Does it have a more profound effect on the unconscious than other lettering?
Does it have any relation to how social scientists name the generations? (Gen X, Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Gen Beta, etc.)? Thanks.
Greek letters are used quite often to name things in math and sciences partly because of discoveries in math and sciences from Ancient Greece and partly because higher education in later centuries taught Greek as an elite language, so that its continued use would reflect the knowledge experienced in higher education.  The use of Greek letters in mathematical and scientific processes provides common understanding using the letters to symbolize meaning that means the same in all languages.  It is common in sciences to use Greek letters for generic lists.  Programming takes place in different countries, so the Greek letters create a systematic way of programming individuals who will be controlled using an alphabet that is familiar in the sciences without regard to the language spoken by the programmer or survivor.
Programming using Greek letters sometimes corresponds with waves of vibration in the brain that need to occur for different kinds of programming to be installed.  Alpha waves got their name because they were the first brain waves to be documented in 1929, subsequently discovered frequencies received progressive letter names in the Greek alphabet.
The five main brain waves are:
Delta (0-4 Hz) Theta (4-8 Hz) Alpha (8-12 Hz) Beta (12-40 Hz) Gamma (40-100 Hz)
There are also Epsilon and Lambda waves.  Here is information regarding programming that takes place at different brainwave frequencies.
Additional Greek letters are also used to name types of programs used in Greek programming, which is an extensive programming involving beliefs, alters, structures and mapping based on stories in Greek mythology.
The effect of the symbols on the unconscious has to do with the programming and how the symbols were anchored in the system and the belief systems that give special meanings to some of the symbols.  When the letters of Greek alphabet occur in the outside world, they will reinforce the programming in the same way other programmed symbols do.
The only correlation between how programming is named and how generations have more recently been named is the way alphabets are sometimes used in generic lists.  Prior to Generation X, generations were not named using letters and instead had phrases that seemed to describe the commonality of experience of the people born into that generation.  The naming of Generation X had to do with the lack of identity that those in that generation experienced in comparison to the Baby Boomers, so X was a reference to being crossed out or nothingness, rather than even a letter. Following that generation, social scientist finished up the English alphabet by labeling Generations Y (also known as MIllenials) and Gen Z, before switching over to Greek letters in naming Generation Alpha and Beta.  Future generations could continue to be defined generically with letters, or maybe social scientist and pop culture will come up with other ways to describe the common experience shared by new groups of people making up their own generations.

the thing about being a disabled grad student is that if you want even half a chance you constantly have to not only reveal but interrogate and explain your softest most vulnerable parts. while people around you act like this is just completely normal and actually that is not the softest most vulnerable part of you and actually you are exactly the same as all of them. so you feel like you are in disguise as exactlythesame while also completely exposed. and you just have to live like that. absolutely insane

Apollo, Artemis, Athena, Aphrodite ✨
Portraits from 2022 (two! whole! years! ago!) that I made for a Greek mythos-related project. They never saw the light of day until now. I didn't have my current signature back then so I went back and added it in :)

i should probably apply to some classics summer school/program/whatever. i have no money though. and it’d have to be online… but maybe it’d save me from this stupid french university whose classics degree is absolutely useless because we’re not learning anything at all. i need an intensive program or something
idk where to apply though :/ and i’m scared it’ll be even harder to understand latin/ancient greek if it’s taught in english. we don’t even learn declensions with cases in the same order… but i really need to do something that’ll make me feel like i’m actually learning classics and not just wasting my fucking time

The disrespect this show gets on a daily basis, from the production to the network(s) to even the pirates who prefer to rip shows like *checks notes* Big Brother Canada (same group)...
I wouldn't be calling them out if I hadn't done this myself, by the way. People who have never ripped a damn thing can stay in their lane. I have earned my stripes, I'm not someone who wants to talk shit about those who do this, and I understand the process involved. The webrips are a different story, as they are uploaded by Amazon whenever. The HDTV rips should be uploaded on time, shortly after the network airs the show, and it's the same process as it always has been to rip them. Uploading HDTV rips after the webrips has no value whatsoever, unless someone cares that much about the promo, which of course CityTV doesn't care enough to upload themselves, proving once again what a shitty network they are.
Hudson and Rex has an international fanbase, it shouldn't be so difficult to be able to watch it as an international fan in 2024.

Could you explain the roles of notable gods and goddesses in Greek programming?
In Greek programming due to the number of gods and goddesses the chosen deities in the system are left up to the programmer and handler.
For example:Hemera~the goddess of day, may be over the parts of the system who are out during the day.
If programming involves twins: Thanatos~ the god of death as well as his twin brother of Hypnos (god of sleep) and lives in the dark Tartarus could be programmed into the system. (one god in each system)
The twelve Olympians are the major deities of the Greek pantheon, considered to be Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Demeter, Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Ares, Hephaestus, Hermes, and either Hestia or Dionysus. They could be over each level of the system.
If you have a question about a specific god or goddess please ask.

in class today i felt so incredibly out of place again, why does it have to be so hard for me? and, i like this girl, but every single time we have class she mentions her "autism" while happily chatting with 3+ ppl at a time, completely effortless, while im sitting there, staring and trying to focus enough to even understand the conversation bc there is so much noise around me that i feel like i'm about to either explode or shut down completely and i feel like an alien trying my best to somehow socialize and understand what is going on and really to just get through this.
#i feel awful i was so close to just breaking into tears at one point#we had the introduction to greek archaeology course for the first time today and... i hate it#it is so fucking boring#the lecturer is italian and while her english vocabulary is great her accent already makes it hard to understand her but what is worse is#that she completely mispronounces a ton of english words so you constantly have to sorta interpret what she is saying#i genuinely didnt understand at least a third of what she was saying today#and its all “look this painting on this and that vase” and its basically art history and i hate art history i really dont give a shit#and then i felt like i picked the wrong study program and i should just drop out which ofc is complete bullshit bc the courses i have monda#are really interesting as they are about prehistory which i am actually interested in and its ok to not care about certain eras of arch.#we were even told that by one lectures who also didnt give a shit about christian archaeology and was only interested in prehistory#so i know its ok rationally but everything was so awful today that my brain went into doom mode#and earlier my father yapped about the election to my mom while i hid in the bathroom lol and then he said in his horrible condescending#voice how “kamala is so stupid you cant sit her in front of a camera (for an interview)” and how she is “just as dumb as baerbock”#baerbock is a german politician - and obviously a woman#there r a million politicians he could choose from but he went with 2 women#i hate him so fucking much#i am not prone to violent phantasies at all but with him its different#i wish he would just die#ok now that we are so cozy and cheerful in these tags i'm gonna go to bed to spend another shitty day at uni tomorrow goodnight#personal

first homework for ancient languages in scientific terminology and I need to learn how to pronounce words in Latin, I hate it here </4 I mean what did I expect from my major (more things related to managing information & administration, but whatever), but the most annoying thing is the fact that we have more semesters of useless classes like philosophy than the literal (ethno)linguistics and philology majors...
GIVE ME MORE DATABASES, EXCEL AND STUFF LIKE THIS INSTEAD OF THAT CRAP

i am increasingly convinced that azran legacy did not receive a US localization the way the rest of the professor layton series did—obviously the game was released in north america, but whereas for other installments the english dialogue is radically different in the USA and EUR editions (not only edited for britishisms and vernacular; the disparities are sweeping), i can find no evidence of an “americanized” azran legacy out there:
the walkthrough only has one title for every puzzle, as opposed to the other games, where many puzzles have separate american/british titles [and the puzzles themselves are sometimes not remotely the same] and the other walkthroughs indicate this)
the roms i’ve seen that say they are US editions say (c) 2014 on the title screen; others say (c) 2013—azran legacy was released worldwide in 2013 and in north america in 2014. these versions are otherwise (from what i’ve seen) identical in content
there aren’t many playthroughs/videos on youtube but the ones that are there are all identical (and this streamer, who seems to be american based on accent + has played the US versions of the other games, has an azran legacy apparently identical to the EUR one with british spellings) (this playthrough is labeled US version, i haven’t watched everything but what i’ve seen is identical to the EUR version—and there we go, this one uses the UK “civilisation” instead of the US “civilization”…)
conclusion: unless someone who owns a US copy of azran legacy wants to chime in and correct me that they have a whole game of nonstop americanisms and i’m simply a moron, i think it is settled: EUR azran legacy is USA azran legacy. the releases are identical.
this begs the question: why on earth did level-5/nintendo release 5 games worldwide with drastically different USA and EUR english editions and 1 game with identical USA and EUR english editions, except perhaps to torment me in particular

do you think sankta can link empathy with the aggeloi. they're the same software running on different hardware, so they get in range and their bluetooth automatically connects and everyone loses their minds. the snobby fanatics lose their faith and fall into despair as they realize they aren't divinely chosen if these mindless beasts also have the same blessing. meanwhile everyone else is like holy shit i can talk to this dog
