I finally, FINALLY posted the first chapter of my GoodGardenerAU story Three Months! You can read it here on ao3: [Link]

Summary: Lilith J. Ashtoreth is the new nanny of Warlock Dowling, aka the antichrist. This is a glimpse into their first three months at the Dowling estate. It showcases their mental struggles and how they eventually let down their walls to befriend some of their new colleagues (among them the estate's gardener) and start their process of healing from millennia of trauma.

I really wanted to draw a proper cover for this and oof it has taken me ages to make. I‘m both excited and terrified to share this story since I'm not very confident in my writing skills yet. And as always, I had to include some sketches to accompany this chapter!

Me, as they drag me away to the loony bin: GOOD OMENS BUT IMAGINE IF THEY HAD A LITTLE HUMAN CHARACTER TO JOIN CROWLEY AND AZIRAPHALE!! Give me a character who represents humanity and earth to counter Crowley and Aziraphale’s divinity. You can not tell me that if they threw in a teenage girl who is so human and imperfect and odd that it would make THE PERFECT TRIO OF ALL THREE REALMS (heaven, hell, and earth)!!

Even things like color palette in the show could be used to show this-

Crowley: red and black

Aziraphale: blue and white

Human: Green (earthy) and grey (mix between good AND bad)

She could add so much DEPTH and COMPLEXITY to the ideas of the divinity and humanity in the show PLUS IT WOULD GIVE US CHAOTIC ANGEL DAD AND DEMON DAD WITH THEIR WEIRD LITTLE ADOPTED HUMAN KID

My OC Straw and Uriel from Good Omens

👁️ I came up with the idea to make my own OC based on Good Omens. The very first version of what they might look like.

👁️ So:

She/They

Demon

I will tell you their name in the following posts, because it will be related to what kind of angel this demon was before the fall. I know that demons change their names, but you'll see.

👁️ They carry a scorpion robot with them, because almost all demons (I say almost because I might forget something) have an animal motive. Beelzebub - flies, Crowley - snake, Hastur - frog/toad?, Ligur - lizard, etc. You got it.

👁️ My OC has a scorpion motif. Why? Just because my favorite band is Scorpions.

👁️ The Scorpion's name is Nickel and he's a kind of hardcore version of Bentley, who randomly plays Scorpions songs if he thinks they fit the situation. (Nickel has speakers for communication, so it can also turn on music.)

👁️ Others think that Nickel is just a very strange accessory. Well, modern fashion, all that. That's why people around them get shocked when a demon and a scorpion start arguing. For the most part, people. Occult entities are not surprised by this. Moreover, both Nickel and the demon have a habit of actively gesturing.

👁️ Since the robot usually travels on her back/shoulders, their arguments often end with Nickel poking the demon in the face with his claws (and probably in additional eyes to annoy), and the demon tries to remove the claws from her face.

👁️ The character is wearing an ugly purple tracksuit. Probably an Adidas fake. I guess demons don't have to dress in a black-gray-red-brown palette, because they can look terrible even in bright colors. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

👁️ The hair looks like a disheveled copper wire. A long time ago, perhaps, probably, it was curls.

👁️ There is an unknown metal construction on one side of her face (it looks like an aluminum can exploded in her hands and its pieces got stuck in her skin). And extra eyes under the clothes. I don't know why, I just thought it would suit the character.

👁️ The next post will be with a version of this demon, but if they chose to look stylish :)

(I have to use a translator to write such long posts, because English isn't my native language. I'd be glad if you could tell me how well it reads and if anything needs to be improved.)

I just finished Good Omens and I’m so normal about it, I would never make a self insert oc just so I could hug aziraphale and Crowley (next drawing of that coming soon)

Also I’ve been looking at too much fan art and fan videos to be a normal person 👍👍👍
