Goblin Daycare are based in Istanbul, Turkey. They peddle a type of punk that sounds like Devo played through sludge speakers. This is abrasive, short and quite melodic. It also reminds me of the Australian punk sounds of bands like Ausmuteants.

The band is currently preparing a full length for German label Dedstrange. Frankly, I would have thought this would have fit nicely on ETT (Erste Theke Tontraeger - who released The Coneheads). In fact, as I was listening to that label's newest LP - Busted Head Racket - I noticed that they mentioned the label "egg" or "weird" punk. Like them, I just like to think of this sound as punk. And while I have you, go back and listen to Rita Mosss (RITA MOΣΣΣ).

Back to Goblin Daycare. This is their debut EP released in the U.S. by Godless America Tapes.

Mark Keith Robinson

Today I’m going to record the story of Mark Keith Robinson, so called because there’s other people named Mark Robinson, some of whom will hopefully be more noteworthy than this one in the grand scheme of things. Mark was elected to be the lieutenant governor of North Carolina in 2021. That’s sort of like being the vice president, but of the state-level government. Then in 2023, he decided to run to be governor of the state in 2024. In November 2023, he lost.

In September 2024, on the 19th, CNN reported they found his account on a pornographic website called Nude Africa from years earlier, where his identity was barely obscured at all. Here were some of the fun messages they spotlighted:

“I came to a spot that was a dead end but had two big vent covers over it! It just so happened it overlooked the showers! I sat there for about an hour and watched as several girls came in and showered”

“I like watching tranny on girl porn! That’s fucking hot!”

“I’m a black NAZI!”

He refers to Martin Luther King Jr. as a “fucking commie bastard”, and called him “worse than a maggot”, and opposed a memorial to King in Washington, DC in 2011. The following year, Robinson wrote “I’d take Hitler over any of the shit that’s in Washington right now!”, in reference to that memorial.

“I’m not in the KKK. They don’t let blacks join.”

“Slavery is not bad. Some people need to be slaves. I wish they would bring it back. I would certainly buy a few.”

The next day, on the 20th, the Washington Post reported that on this pornographic website, Robinson “wrote extensively and in graphic detail about having extramarital sex with his wife’s sister”, and that “the same email Robinson used on the porn site was registered on Ashley Madison, a website used for extramarital affairs”.

These revelations were so outrageous and generated so much attention that it led to almost his entire campaign staff quitting, as local news reported a few days later (“... leaving Robinson with just three people working on his campaign — two campaign spokesmen and a bodyguard”).

Mark Robinson is no stranger to making controversial statements in public these days, so it’s not shocking that he said such outrageous things online in the past. Let’s review some things that voters already had access to before the CNN reporters finding his porn accounts:

“this foolishness about Hitler disarming MILLIONS of Jews and then marching them off to concentration camps is a bunch of hogwash” (2023)

In July 2024, before the CNN report about his porn accounts, Robinson gave a long, impassioned speech, rich with violent language, anger about immigrants, vague references to a class of people within America who want to destroy the country from within to take your freedom. He stresses the importance of killing your opposition, and references bringing in the cops and the military. (He does mention fighting enemies in the context of World War II—but the only purpose of that comparison is so he can insinuate that violence against an unnamed ‘domestic enemy’ is equally justified. Here’s a transcript of that part if you don’t want to search the Facebook video.)

[referring to abortion] “It's about killing the child because you weren't responsible enough to keep your skirt down” (his state-level opposition ran attack ads against him based on this statement)

“I’m going to explain climate change to you. It’s real simple, here it is: four times a year, the climate changes. ... It’s that simple. End of less. ... This idiot [referring to Joe Biden] is over here worried about climate change, a science that is, I’m going to say it plain, junk science. I said it once and I’m gonna say it again, it’s junk. It’s godless junk.” (2021)

“There’s no reason anybody anywhere in America should be telling any child about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth.” (2021)

“Homosexuality is STILL an abominable sin and I WILL NOT join in ‘celebrating gay pride.’” (2016, immediately after the Pulse nightclub mass shooting in Florida that killed 49 people at a gay nightclub)

He said the Marvel film Black Panther (2018) was created by Jews and satanic Marxists to “pull the shekels out of your Schvartze pockets” (Schvartze is a Yiddish slur for black people; his intended meaning is to imply that Jewish people are just exploiting the black population)

“Everything that god made, from the foul odour of what the cow left behind, to the decaying body of every living creature, to the maggots that eat those dead bodies, to the flies that will fly around what the cow left behind. God made all those things for a purpose. Will somebody please explain to me the purpose of homosexuality?” (2021)

A number of these statements he made during a speech at this church, which was reported on, and the full recording is still online. Some other statements (like his Holocaust denial) were made on his public Facebook while in office and are still up. None of this was a secret from voters.

Nonetheless, this person not only got the party nomination to run to be governor, but it seems like he could have easily won despite what a terrible person he was—had it not been for that CNN report and the headlines calling him a ‘black Nazi’ who watches trans porn and wants to spy on girls in public showers or something. The Republican Party did well in North Carolina that election cycle, so it does make it seem like it was just this wave of controversy shortly before the election that screwed him over. All of his other horrific public statements wouldn’t have been enough.

Robinson, for his part, denies everything and is now trying to sue CNN for 50 million dollars.

Abram Rescues Lot -  Abram Meets Melchizedek  

(Sunday, September 03, 2023 AD)  

Genesis 14:1-22  

Golden Text:       12 And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed. ... 14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.- Genesis 14:12, 14  

18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. 19 And he (Melchizedek)  blessed him (Abram), and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth. - Genesis 14:18-19  

Here we have verses that highlight the two important matters in this chapter: the rescue and deliverance of Lot, the nephew of Abram and also the meeting of Melchizedek who was a person, (not of the family of Abram) who was a priest and also a king of a city, Salem (peace) Jerusalem.  

Why did Lot need to be rescued?  Lot, as we recently learned, had chosen the land that looked best to him. He did not seek the Lord. He saw the worldly possessions and the rich plain and plenty of grass for his livestock and he chose that area and took his tent and pitched toward Sodom. Then he move into Sodom and had a house and goods in Sodom. Lot was totally immersed in the world of Sodom and Gomorrah. Then when his townspeople got into a battle, he (because of where he had chosen to dwell) was about to lose everything, at least temporarily. Then later in history (Genesis 19) we will find out that living in a cursed and wicked city could cause you to lose all, unless you heed the warning to get out.  We believe that this first incident recorded in the Bible here is a warning.  Lot is, because of his choices, destined to lose it all.  

Then when Abram learns that his nephew has been taken captive, Abram takes his army of 318 and combines it with the forces of Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre. They defeat the capturing kings and Lot and his goods are restored. God had provided a way out. God had used Abram to deliver Lot. Will Lot be wise enough to heed the warning and to appreciate the deliverance of God and leave the godless city of Sodom?  

Melchizedek. Next when Abram is coming home in victory here he meets a most interesting person. This man is a priest of the Most High God. His name is Melchizedek and he is a king of Salem (Jerusalem). We also (much later in history) meet a King and Priest who goes to the cross and delivers us from the sting of death, hell and the lake of fire. His Name is Jesus. And it is this order of priesthood that Jesus attains, once He has ascended into heaven and offered Himself a Sacrifice (pays the death penalty) that our sins have earned each one of us.  

We have much to see and learn in this 14th chapter of Genesis.  

Message Text  -  Genesis - Chapter 14 Verses 1-22  

1 And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations; 2 That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.  3 All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.  

We are here given the names of historical persons. They are all called kings. We think of a king as the king of a great nation. Wikipedia tells us:  

This is a list of current monarchies. As of 2023, there are 43 sovereign states in the world with a monarch as head of state. There are 13 in Asia, 12 in Europe, 9 in the Americas, 6 in Oceania, and 3 in Africa.  

 ...  

Other European constitutional monarchies. Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and Sweden are fully democratic states in which the monarch has a limited, largely, or entirely ceremonial role.  

...  

Muslim monarchies. Absolute monarchs remain in Brunei, Oman, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates and are classified as mixed, meaning there are representative bodies of some kind, but the monarch retains most of his powers. Malaysia and Morocco are constitutional monarchies, but their monarchs still retain more substantial powers than in European equivalents.  

But here we are most likely talking of kings in the sense of the Greek city states. These are kings of large towns or communities. We do not know much about them but some are known to historians which helps us to believe that we are talking about actual people, places and events.  

We see the name Chedorlaomer of Elam (usually refers to Persia), but this is not located near Persia. This most likely refers to someone ruling an area under the control of Elam from afar. This then is the local ruler, a governor of sorts. These four kings in verse one were in an alliance one with another and fought as one nation. They were fighting to keep the others in subjection that are mentioned in verse two. We learn that they served Chedorlaomer, the chief of the group of kings. (More like a mayor as far as size of kingdom).  

The five kings that had been serving Chedorlaomer rebelled and met him and his allies in battle at the vale (valley) of Siddim, (Strong: H7708: the same as 7704; Siddim, a valley in Palestine:--Siddim. H7704  Siddim = "field" or "plain" 1) valley where the Dead Sea is located) which is the salt sea.  

This battle occurred in the area of the Dead Sea.  

We have here an account of the first war that ever we read of in Scripture, which (though the wars of the nations make the greatest figure in history) we should not have had the history of if Abram and Lot had not been concerned in it. Now, concerning this war, we may observe,  

... The invaded were the kings of five cities that lay near together in the plain of Jordan, namely, Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and Zoar. Four of them are named, but not the fifth, the king of Zoar or Bela  

The occasion of this war was the revolt of the five kings from under the government of Chedorlaomer. Twelve years they served him. Small joy they had of their fruitful land, while thus they were tributaries to a foreign power, and could not call what they had their own. Rich countries are a desirable prey, and idle luxurious countries are an easy prey, to growing greatness and lust.  

The Sodomites were the posterity of Canaan whom Noah had pronounced a servant to Shem, from whom Elam descended; thus soon did that prophecy begin to be fulfilled.  

4 Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. 5 And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim, 6 And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which is by the wilderness. 7 And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.  

In the fourteenth year, apparently when it become apparent that they were not just late, the former payors of kings did not intend to be any longer in subjection. So Chedorlaomer gathered his allies and they set out to bring these rebels back under the subjection of Chedorlaomer and his allies. The motive: lust and covetousness, from which wars and fightings come.  

Yet it appears that they were not satisfied with bringing the rebels back into subjection, they also attacked Amalekites (Amelek from Esau), and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar (1) an Amorite city; 2) a town situated in the desert Judah; probably Engedi.  

8 And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;  9 With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five.  

This merely tells us the line up of the four who went out against the five kings. They met in the valley of the Salt Sea (Dead Sea) in what is now lower Israel.  

10 And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.  

Now the vale (valley) of the Salt Sea (Dead Sea) was full of slimepits (pit). I do not understand where the translators came up with the slimepits. Others call this asphalt pits which again is no help. The pits apparently caused them problems, perhaps as does quick sand, which can swallow a person up. And it may be that many were (at the least) made unable to fight. After the battle the remnant of soldiers that were left fled to the mountain. They were in defeat and retreat.  

11 And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.  

The four kings prevailed against the former subjected peoples. So now not content with collecting what tribute or other things were owed them, the four kings decided to take it all. They took the goods (Strongs: H7399: 1) property, goods, possessions,  1a) property, goods, 1a1) general term for all movable goods, 1a2) of livestock,  1a3) of stores, utensils, etc)  

12 And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.  

Now we bring it back to Abram and Lot. The four kings took Lot, the nephew of Abram and his goods (all he owned) and they left the place of the battle and the home area. Now Lot is in captivity of the world.  He has lost everything. He may be being sold into slavery. Things were bleak and dark for the man who lived by what he saw and his own reasoning. He had not depended upon the Lord.  

13 And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.  

There came one that had escaped, and told Abram, the Hebrew. Along came one who had escaped and although we do not know why, this escapee told this all to Abram.  

Abram, the Hebrew (Strong: H5680:  from 5677; an Eberite (i.e. Hebrew) or descendant of Eber:--Hebrew(-ess, woman). Wikipedia reports:  

Eber was a great-grandson of Noah's son Shem and the father of Peleg, born when Eber was 34 years old, and of Joktan. He was the son of Shelah, a distant ancestor of Abraham. According to the Hebrew Bible, Eber died at the age of 464. - Matthew Henry 1713  

Anyone in the line of Eber, from Shem was considered a Hebrew. Not all Hebrews were Jewish, nor did these other offspring of Eber come from Abram or his line.  

14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.  

What did Abram do with the news? Did he look for a committee to meet and decide what was best to do?  Did Abram say I knew this would happen to him, God must be punishing him, I will do nothing?  No, NO!  

We can be sure of one thing, Abram, by now, had learned his lesson of taking things into his own hands as in the almost disaster of Egypt, where Abram exposed his wife, the chosen vessel of God, to the possibility of being only one of a harem.  God had to rescue her. I am fairly certain that Abram called upon the Name of the Lord and asked His advice and counsel.  

God had prospered Abram so much that he had to have a small private army to protect all the assets God had given to Abram. How wealthy had God made Abram? Wealthy enough to maintain a small standing army of trained men who had been born in his own house.  

And pursued them unto Dan. How old was Abram? Well he left Haran at age 75 (Genesis 12:4) and many things had happened. But we know that Abram was not yet 86, which was his age when Hagar was given to him by his wife Sarai to raise up seed (children). So this man age more than 75, but not yet 86, took off with his small army. Along with the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.  

15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.  

He (Abram) divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night. Abram separated his men into at least two camps of men, then he used wisdom (from God) to strike at night. And following that wisdom. Abram:  

smote them (Strongs: H5221: Orig: a primitive root; to strike (lightly or severely, literally or figuratively):--beat, cast forth, clap, give (wounds), 1) to strike, smite, hit, beat, slay, kill, ... 1c2) to smite, kill, slay (man or beast)... )  

Abram had come from Mamre to Dan. It would have taken days to get to Dan. They fight a battle there. Then when the enemy retreats, Abram and his army go farther north close to Hobah near Damascus, Syria. But Abram and his men are totally victorious. They not only smite the enemy, they recover all.  

16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.  

Do you believe this was all in his own strength or do you think Abram had followed the leading of the Lord? This man in his late 70s or so brought back all the goods (property and livestock), his brother (nephew, son of his brother) Lot and all his goods.  The women of Sodom and Gomorrah also were recovered and all the other people who had been taken captive by the four kings led by Chedorlaomer, the (most likely) local Persian governor. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and He shall direct thy paths. ...  

If Lot had not been taken and be facing possible slavery, I doubt that Abram would have gone to battle.  Abram was the protector of his family. So he took his army of men, joined with others who went with him, and defeated the four kings led by Chedorlaomer. Therefore he had been motivated by the need to rescue Lot, but it is true that the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah benefitted from it.  

17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale.  

The king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer. This verse is interesting in that it seems to say that the king of Sodom was not among the captives as here the king of Sodom goes out to meet Abram after his victory.  The king of Sodom meets him at the valley of Shaveh. We are told this is near Salem (Jerusalem).  

SHAVEH, VALLEY OF, a plain or valley subsequently termed the king’s vale, near to Salem (Jerusalem). There the king of Sodom met Abraham after the defeat of Chedorlaomer (Gen 14:17, 18). ... According to Josephus this stood about a quarter of a mile from Jerusalem, ...  

18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.  

Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine. We are not told how Melchizedek knew about Abram or his victory or why he was there. We can assure ourselves that God was in the matter. God may have directed the whole thing. But here comes Melchizedek. Wikipedia reports:  

In the Bible, Melchizedek [1] Biblical Hebrew: romanized: malkj- e eq, "king of righteousness" or "my king is righteousness"), also transliterated Melchisedech or Malki Tzedek, was the king of Salem and priest of El Elyon (often translated as "most high God"). He is first mentioned in Genesis 14:18– 20, [2] where he brings out bread and wine and then blesses Abram and El Elyon (Most High God).

The name is composed from the two elements: melek(h), "king", and  edeq, which means either "righteousness" or the proper name "Zedek". ..., so that the name literally translates to "king of righteousness" ... Mainstream scholarly understanding of these names ("My King is Righteousness" and "My Lord is Righteousness" respectively) is that they refer to the concept of righteousness and not to a god.  

Melchizedek brings forth bread and wine.  We are looking forward to the time when Jesus at the last supper (Passover meal) with His disciples took bread:  

19 And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying,This is My Body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me.  20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in My Blood, which is shed for you.  - Luke 22:19-20  

He (Melchizedek) was the priest of the Most High God  We are told that not only is he a king of Salem, but a priest.  The office of king and priest is once again melded together in the risen Savior, Jesus Christ.  

19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the Most High God, possessor of heaven and earth:  

Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth. Here Melchizedek blessed Abram.  He always kept in his thoughts and here in his sayings of the God to Whom Abram belonged. Abram worshiped the One, True, Living, Creator God. And this One God created and owns and possesses heaven and earth, and all that therein is.  

20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.  

Melchizedek here asks God to bless God, the God Who delivered Abram and won the victory for him is blessed. And since there is no higher blessing that can be given, Melchizedek blesses God in the Name of God.  

And he gave him tithes of all. Then Abram gave to Melchizedek a tithe (one tenth) we believe of the spoil taken from the four kings, when the people had taken back all that had been taken by the four kings. At least one other believes that Abram gave to Melchizedek one tenth of all of the wealth of Abram.  

Was this Melchizedek, Jesus?  There is much controversy in some Christian circles as to whether or not this was an early appearance of the Lord Jesus Christ before His birth through the virgin Mary.  There is no total agreement. For what it is worth, I came to the conclusion that it was not an appearance of Jesus when in my study of Hebrews. Jesus is so much more of a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek, a priesthood with no beginning and no ending, an Eternal Everlasting priesthood.  

21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.  

Well this was not a generous offer, it was the standard offer of a defeated and now restored foe. The king of Sodom sounds magnanimous but... .  However apparently God and Abram had already considered this offer was to be made and Abram had a ready answer for the king of Sodom.  

22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:  

Abram (and of course God) knew all about this king of Sodom. And Abram knew that all he had came from God and was not about to allow the wicked king of the evil city of Sodom to be able to make a claim that he, the king of Sodom had made Abram rich.  God was all that Abram needed or wanted. It is God that makes one wealthy.  

6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: He bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.  7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: He bringeth low, and lifteth up.  8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes,... 1st Samuel 2:6-8  

Ecclesiastes 5:19 - Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.  

Deuteronomy 8:18: But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.  

24 Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.  

Yet Abram recognized that the men who had joined with him in the battles were entitled to compensation or reward given to them by those who received back all of their goods. So Abram spoke up for them and told the King of Sodom that these men should be compensated.  

CONCLUSION: Abram becomes involved in the battle against the four kings ONLY because they had taken captive his family member Lot.  Abram was not about to allow them to enslave the son of his brother, (his nephew) Lot. So Abram as a protector of the family took the measures necessary to set the captive free. Then when Lot was set free, should not Lot have seen the Hand of God in his deliverance and repented and come back to God?  One would think so.  

Jesus died for you and me and all, so that we could come out of the slavery of sin. WE should all learn the lesson.  Lot should have heeded the warning. BUT HE DID NOT.  Lot went right back into Sodom and with the wicked, evil people of the world. And finally when God did judge Sodom (Genesis 19) Lot lost EVERYTHING: His goods, his property, his wife and all we hear about him after that is not good. We only hold on to the hope that he was still saved and the apostle Peter wrote in the New Testament:  

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;  7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:  8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:... - 2nd Peter 2:6-9  

Yes the Lord knows how to deliver all of us (you and I and our families) if we will only accept what He has done for us on the cross. He delivered us there, just as God used Abram to deliver Lot. Have you been warned?  Have you turned back to God, fully?  

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we see these two remarkable interventions in the life of Abram and Lot. We know that Lot may not have deserved the deliverance he received. But we also know that we (each one) has sinned and without Jesus and His death on the cross we would end up in hell and the Lake of Fire. Please forgive us and take from me all unrighteousness so that You may answer this prayer. Help me to learn from Lot what not to do, to not dwell with the wicked lest we too be caught up in the Judgment, we pray. And thank You for the Order of Melchizedek and his priesthood and kingship, looking forward to Jesus. Help us to see Your Mighty Hand in all that is done. May we look and see His deliverance and say this is Thy Hand Lord, Thou hast done it. Please help us to admit Your protection, whenever we are protected from trouble, storm, accident, or other calamity. Thank You, Lord Jesus for making heaven a possible home for all those who believe. Help us to strive to enter in at the straight and narrow gate and way which leads to life. Guide me and protect me, I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen and amen.

I’m of the opinion that one of the few things the MCU has going for it, from a worldbuilding perspective, is that X-men, Fantastic Four and Spider-Man all benefit from being in a setting that’s already seen the Avengers come and go.

In the comics, there’s been an ongoing meta-level tension between the fact that the Avengers and Fantastic Four are beloved heroes and the X-men and mutants are pariahs. The in-aggregate, stop-and-think-about-the-numbers-here answer to that is that there are hundreds of thousands or millions of mutants, while the Avengers and Fantastic Four are composed of a bunch of literal celebrities and professional showmen with individual access to really good PR teams. The point has been made many times that the Avengers public standing is actually incredibly fragile, and publicly advocating for mutants is more likely to backfire against them than help elevate mutants. Even then, a significant number of Avengers plotlines were about playing PR chicken with the government and covering their own asses because of how tenuous their position is if they don’t have “star power” like Thor or Iron Man on the active roster.

In the current MCU, there are no actually universally popular superheroes. Iron Man is dead, Steve Rogers is gone, Hulk is out of the public eye, No one knows who Strange is, Thor is off world, The Widow is gone, Hawkeye is semi-retired. “Vision” is now a joyless government hammer, Scarlet witch is disgraced, Captain America is now a black man, Spider-man doesn’t have Stark’s PR machine behind him. Ant man is very distinctly counter-establishment from the word go, Winter Soldier has his baggage, it’s not clear if or how anyone knows who Captain Marvel even is. The setting is years past the “oh, superheroes! This is cool” phase, which the world went through without even having all that many superheroes. 

If you introduced an entire widespread population with superpowers, when the last event of such a magnitude was the blip.... hatred and fear would be a very predictable response, since people were already inching towards that when it was just the Avengers.

I’m picturing anti-mutant hysteria that rides on the backs of the fact that the “golden age” of the (white-washed, idealized, not around to set the record straight) Avengers has been replaced by this wave of godless, irresponsible, un-civic-minded mutants, even though the main actual difference is just that there are more of them now.

The writer of this article was recently asked, “Why do the globalists who are supposed to be very intelligent make decisions that are so clearly wrong?”

Most don’t realize it, but Satan is behind their evil.

He has blinded them to the extent that they don’t believe the Bible is the Word of God.

They push a godless world government, world religion, same-sex marriage, tracking everyone, etc., because they are not Christians (even though some falsely claim to be good Catholics, etc.).

Many were appointed by like-minded people, not elected by voters or nations.

They wouldn’t dare have an election because they don’t believe they can get elected.

The globalists overlook what the Clintons and Bidens have done because they share similar views on the issues listed above.

Their puppets impeached Trump twice because he opposed their views.

Their prosecution of Trump supporters for what happened at the capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, while ignoring the rioting, looting, destruction of property, etc. by Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and others, should concern every conservative and Christian because when the globalists get the upper hand (and they will), they will destroy the U.S. Constitution, and persecute and destroy those that disagree with them.

When they give their Antichrist power, he will go forth conquering and to conquer (Rev. 6:1-2; 13:4-7).

The following events indicate that the latter years and latter days, globalism, global pandemics, food shortages, persecution, etc., are on the horizon.

One, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog in the latter years and latter days: on July 20, 2021, Sen. Lindsey Graham said, “The Iranians are progressing (on their development of nuclear weapons) at a dangerous pace.”

“Israel may need to take pre-emptive military action against Iran.”

“I’ve never been more worried about Israel having to use military force to stop the program than I am right now.”

Two, also concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: it was reported on July 21, 2021, that Israel’s military and foreign intelligence agency said Israel needs a variety of plans to sabotage, disrupt and delay Iran’s development of nuclear weapons, and they will probably be asking for the money and resources to do that.

Three, also concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu and Russian Pres. Putin agreed that Israel would give Russia advance notice of Israeli attacks in some areas of Syria, and Russia would not intervene.

Israel jets recently fired several missiles at Iranian targets near Aleppo, Syria, and a Russian official said Syria used Russian-made anti-missile systems to shoot down all of Israel’s missiles.

On July 24, 2021, DEBKAfile, an Israeli intelligence and security news source group, reported that a Russian official confirmed that Russia has changed its policy on not intervening in Israeli attacks in some areas of Syria because Russia has received confirmation from the Biden White House that the U.S. does not condone the continuous Israeli raids.

Thus, while the Biden administration is publicly saying Israel has a right to defend itself, it is telling Russia that some of Israel’s efforts to do that are unacceptable.

The Bible clearly teaches that the merchants of Tarshish and all the young lions (perhaps includes the U.S.) will not help Israel during the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38:13).

Corrupt world leaders, deceit, and lying are also signs of the end of the age.

Four, on July 27, 2021, i24NEWS reported that Israel has notified the Biden administration that Iran is on the verge of crossing the nuclear threshold, and it could happen at any moment.

Because Pres. Obama sent Iran a planeload of money during his administration and seems to be influencing events in the Biden administration, notifying Biden might be a waste of time.

This may help explain the belief that the U.S. will not help Israel during the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38:13).

Five, concerning famine: it is common knowledge that the Covid-19 lockdowns disrupted the world’s food chains (farmers and farmhands were quarantined; stores ran out of toilet paper, some foods, etc.; food processors closed or cut back; some trucks stopped rolling, etc.).

On July 23, 2023, it was reported that there are still bare shelves in some food stores in the U.K., the food supply chains are “at risk of collapse,” millions of workers have been ordered to self-quarantine, the food industry is running out of workers to keep the stores supplied, and the U.K. could be just a few months away from a major crisis.

Under the guise of stopping the spread of Covid, the U.K. government may be creating “food shortages and mass famine.”

Note: It was recently reported that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell warned that there will be another lockdown in the U.S. if American citizens “don’t wise up and get vaccinated against Covid-19.”

Note: On July 28, 2021, in an interview on “Fox & Friends,” Stuart Varney said an important business group is predicting that supply shortages will last until 2023.

Some prophecy teachers believe that Covid-19 is a created crisis (a pretext, a set-up, perhaps an engineered cluster of catastrophes) that globalists are using to prepare the world for a world government.

According to the pro-liberty group, Brighteon, on July 22, 2021, “very few people are prepared to survive a multi-layered, engineered cluster of catastrophes that are unleashed on top of each other.”

God’s Seal, Trumpet, and Bowl judgments during the Tribulation Period will be multi-layered catastrophes (pandemics, famine, economic collapse, etc.) on top of each other, and very few will survive.

Note: This writer believes we could be watching the development (early stages) of those multi-layered judgments.

Six, concerning deceit: on July 20, 2021, Sen. Rand Paul said on Sean Hannity’s T.V. program, “I will be sending a letter to the Department of Justice asking for a criminal referral (of Dr. Anthony Fauci) because he has lied to Congress” (about the involvement of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the research at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology).

Note: This writer does not know how to verify it but has seen reports that Fauci owns stock in one or more of the companies that have been approved to sell the Covid-19 vaccine (If true, he is likely profiting off forcing people to be vaccinated and opposing the use of Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin).

Second Note: It has been reported that Fauci could spend up to 5 years in prison, but it is the opinion of this writer that the globalists (also called the Shadow Government, Deep State, super-wealthy elitists, etc.) will protect him because they are pro-vaccination. They want him to keep using his ever-changing fake science.

Seven, concerning world government and open borders: on July 21, 2021, it was reported that keeping the U.S. border with Mexico open is costing about 3 million dollars a day in suspension and termination payments to contractors to guard steel, concrete, and other materials they have in the desert.

Eight, militant Muslims say Jews should not be allowed on the Temple Mount because the entire Temple Mount is an Islamic site and none of it belongs to Israel.

For this reason, Jewish officials have allowed Jews to visit the Temple Mount at certain times, but they have not been allowed to pray on the Temple Mount.

On July 17, 2021, the eve of Tisha B’ Av (a holiday for remembering the destruction of the first 2 Jewish Temples; July 17-18 in 2021), it was reported that Jews were praying (and some were teaching Torah, a name for the Scriptures in the first 5 books of the Bible) on the Temple Mount.

On July 20, 2021, Prime Min. Bennett came out in support of freedom of worship for Jews on the Temple Mount.

This may lead to more violence, but it is worth noting that the Jews have gone from not being allowed to pray on the Temple Mount to praying and teaching on the Temple Mount, and Israel’s new Prime Min. supports it.

According to the Bible, the Jews will eventually get permission to rebuild the Temple.

Update: On July 25, 2021, it was reported that the temporary truce between Israel and the Palestinians is fragile, may be coming unraveled, and another war could be on the horizon.

Nine, concerning pestilence: on July 22, 2021, Israeli Prime Min. Bennett said as of Aug. 8, 2021, Israeli citizens will not be allowed to enter synagogues and other facilities without a vaccine certificate or proof of a negative Covid-19 test.

U.S. citizens are not having to prove that they have been vaccinated to attend places of worship, but some companies are requiring it.

Ten, concerning natural disasters: on July 26, 2021, it was reported that June in North America was “the hottest in recorded history.”

Record high temperatures were broken in several western states.

On June 28, 2021, the temperature was 117 degrees in Salem, OR; 110 in Redmond OR; 110 in Quillayute, WA; 110 in Olympia, WA etc.

The southwest U.S. is experiencing the worst drought in 122 years.

It covers almost 90% of the southwest, and much of that is classified as severe to exceptional drought.

Reservoirs and rivers are drying up, fish are dying, wildlife is suffering, farmers and ranchers are hurting, crop and cattle production is down, some ranchers and dairy farmers are going out of business, water rationing is beginning to kick in, and more than 60 million people are impacted.

Lake Mead, a 112-mile-long water reservoir, is at its lowest level since it was built 85 years ago (It is now only 35% full).

Utah’s Great Salt Lake has reached a record low.

86 wildfires are burning in 12 states, drought conditions have made them worse, two major wildfires have merged, and more than 10,000 houses are in danger.

The long-range forecast is for the high temperatures to continue through the fall.

Call it what you want; some officials are already blaming it on global warming because it fits their globalist agenda. But natural disasters will be like birth pains (increase in frequency and intensity) at the end of the age, and this record-breaking event seems to qualify.

As I close, understand that as bad as things are right now, Satan and the Antichrist are limited or partly restrained (II Thess. 2:7-9).

But the time will come (the Tribulation Period) when Satan and the Antichrist will no longer be restrained, and the events will be worse than anything that has ever happened or ever will happen (Matt. 24:22).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

ok so we set the scene: it’s sometime in the 1840s, the British are being meanie pants to the Irish (as they always have been and still do) and people are fleeing Ireland to get away from those stinky Brits and the famine. Most of them end up on the east coast (primarily Boston but I think Baltimore was a big hub too). My own ancestors came to Baltimore (I think, they may have moved there later and first to new york). They start working for the railroad (b&o railroad represent😤) and are living in a small ass townhouse (if you want to see actual sizing, look for the Irish railroad workers museum in the city) in Baltimore. Years go on and they get a slightly bigger townhouse (we actually know where it was (Baltimore is notorious for tearing down perfectly good old townhouses and leaving up crumbling ones) and I can see where it was on google street view :’) ) where they lived for a while. They actually rented a summer house in the town I live in! We think we know what street it was on but alas we don’t know the address :’(. Sorry, I’m rambling I just love doing this! So yada yada Great Depression blah blah blah modern day: we’re (my mother (and me but later)) looking through old documents on ancestry.com for the Irish side of the family’s family tree. Ancestry was able to pin point the exact towns they were from so that helped a lot. Butttt there’s this one issue: TEHY SONT FUCKING EXIST

you may be thinking to yourself: how is this possible everyone comes from someone right? And you are right ✅✅✅. Except we (this time me too) have gone through every single church and census and ship manifest from the time they were coming over to ye olde America. And guess what: they’re not there. Half of the family doesn’t even show up on the census until 1910 a whole 45-50 years after they showed up in these godless lands!!!!! (We have looked into the possibility that we have the dates wrong for when they came over, and it still doesn’t make sense bc we know ages and they weren’t there anyways) We looked to see if we could any birth certificates and/or marriage certificates from Ireland and: nothing. We searched very census from 1830-1910 (when they first showed up) and nothing. The ship manifest (WE HAVE THE FUCKING MAME OF THE DAMM SHIP HWO IS THIS THAT FOMPLICATED) has nothing on them. These people just appeared in Baltimore. Now yes, there is a rational explanation to this. Simply, the records in Ireland went missing/caught on fire/were destroyed/were brought over to America and are sitting in someone’s attic/basement, and the census wasn’t put into the computer system correctly, and we have the wrong ship name. Buttttttt I like to think that they just spawned in Baltimore and said fuck it. But that is all I can squeeze out of my brain atm and if I think of more ill add it on!

If anyone knows anything about how to find old records or places where it would be good to see old records (besides ancestry) would you mind sharing them? I really want to look more into this :’)

Hahaha…. remarkable how short everyone’s memories can be.  Let us go back to 9-11, and more particularly the events and subsequent actions of Our American Government.  Initially, America sought reprisal against the “terrorist training camps” in southern Afghanistan.  For the record allow me to say back in 1980 till sometime around 1985, I sent moneys and material support (very small donations) to those same “terrorist training camps”.  Except back then, they were the camps that Our American Government under the CIA operated to train the Mujaheddin (Afghan Freedom Fighters) who were engaged it fighting the USSR’s invasionary force.  Think “Charlie Wilson’s War” the movie.  Islamic religious leaders felt the USSR’s invasion rose to the criteria of declaring Jihad, Holy War.  Following the expulsion of the Soviet Union’s forces.  Our American Government covertly maintained these training camps to continue to export Jihad against the Soviet Union.  Since many of the satellite states that composed the USSR had large muslin populations it was easy to ferment this “Political Holy War” against the godless state of the Soviet Union.  Tactically it was a classic case of a fifth column action meant to erode the resources of a targeted enemy from within its boarders.  It was so effective, the Soviet Union collapsed thirty to fifty years sooner than most predictions.  A consequence of our fifth column tactic, was ongoing strife and conflict in places such as the Balkan and Serbia; Georgia and elsewhere throughout the former Soviet Union.  As operational head of this fifth column covert initiative, we select Osama bin Laden.  As he and his family had long standing relations with our covert operations going back to the early days of BCCI, Bank of Credit and Commerce International Era (also commonly referred to as the Bank of Crooks and Criminals International). Hmmmm, well worth considering in any discussion of the events and issues that have shaped our world for the past couple of decades.

Also worth noting; a few years ago while dealing with agents of our military intelligence community in unrelated discussions, I was informed that the Seal Team that staged the capture and execution of Osama bin Laden was being sanitized (meaning eliminated or more properly murdered).  Since everyone knows their faces and should circumstances arise that might cause them to tell the Truth of the events could be considered problematic.  Those in charge of covert operations felt it best to eliminate any possibility that such a breach of security occur; thus they elected to murder the only witnesses the public can associate to the events.

Honest answer? Because the US never actually cared about space exploration.

In 1961, America lost the space race - you'll note that it wasn't called the moon race - after the USSR got their guy into orbit a month before ours. So the US did what every bratty kid does when they're losing a game: they changed the rules. Kennedy declared that the space race was actually about going to the moon, and the government dumped a big pile of cash into NASA so they could get a man up there. That'd show those godless communists!

And then, once we'd had our victory lap and popped all our champagne bottles - when there was nothing left to prove - NASA's budget and scope receded. No more lofty goals, no more headline-grabbing daring-do. Just a small group of diligent, brilliant people who keep carrying the torch of America's brief love affair with space. Despite their best efforts, the US stopped looking up and stopped dreaming big before most of us were born.

Notice how the budget was already in freefall before the moon landing? That's because they had no intention of creating the spacefaring future they sold us on. The ruling class blew their wad on the moon shot, and that was the end of their road map. We're lucky they didn't shut NASA down entirely.

By the time I was a kid in the 80s, we'd already given up on anything as audacious as a moon base, colonizing another planet, etc. Instead, our science teachers tried to sell us on the idea that we'd be able to fly in commercial space planes. Note that these weren't the spaceplanes that a few countries built for orbital transport. These were private planes... that went into space! Briefly! And then back to Earth, because even their designs for the future couldn't break orbit! But it might be a slightly faster flight than remaining in Earth's atmosphere! WOWEE!!

(We were already supposed to be using these planes about 10-20 years ago, by the way. Meanwhile, air travel has become more inconvenient, expensive, and all-around unpleasant, with no end in sight. Oops!)

For the record, I didn't write all of this just to be negative. There's an important point here: we need to recognize the difference between the myth of 🦅America🦅 and the reality of the United States. We can build a bright future, but not on the tattered remains of a partisan pissing contest from over 50 years ago. It has to be about cooperation, and a genuine desire to treat each person as an end in themselves. Only by developing a solid foundation which lifts up every human life will our reach for the stars match our grasp. On that day we won't celebrate our achievements as Americans, but as the people who came from Earth.

Happy Cassette Store Day! In the American tradition of making up holidays and then spending your hard earned cash to celebrate and justify said fictitious holiday, I treated myself to a couple of cassettes. These aren’t just any old albums that I bought (nor are they metal, which is my usual format), either. Both are releases from Godless America Records, an Orlando, FL-based cassette (and sometimes vinyl) label run by my coworker, Jordan Duttinger (Radicalized Youth). He just released volume 4 of his “Godless America Mixtape” series! It features big names, such as R Stevie Moore, and up-and-coming names, like The Village Bicycle, The Rotten Mangoes, and Room Full of Strangers. It also features Tele & The Ghost of Our Lord, who recorded and self-produced the second cassette I’d purchased. This two-song EP is psych heaven! It’s a little Beatles, a splash of Bowie, a smidgen of psychedelic madness, and a lot of layers to get lost within!
