There are a lot of upcoming releases from bands that are near and dear to my ears. We'll see if they all get their own post over the course of the next few weeks.

First up, "Chlorine Gardens" will be released at the end of June by Neil Brogan (Sea Pinks, Girls Names). Brogan, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, has been steadily making and releasing music under his own name for the past couple of years. "Chlorine Gardens" is the most sounding Sea Pinks song I've yet heard from him.

The guitars and vocals have a bit more reverb and the mixing is still different from Sea Pinks, but this is just as bouncy, upbeat and enormously catchy as any Sea Pinks song.

Can confirm the Madison in the 2000s in Louisiana , I had so many in elementary school as someone who was born in 2004. Also have a lot of Marys in my family who were born in the 60s but it’s more of a family name. They just switched Marie to Mary
