Summary: With new family members coming soon, names after often being thrown around and questioned. And Stella is very persistent about the names being good ones.

Rochelle was sitting on the couch wearing a green sweater that fit her growing bump as Riley sat beside her playing with her duckies. Steve was sitting on the armchair, responding to Michelle’s text messages about everyone’s lunch order.

They were watching Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella back to back together.

That’s when Natasha raced down the stairs grinning taking seat next to her daughter and in response everyone looked at her.

“Uh, mom why the smile?” Rochelle asked humorously as she smiled.

Nat grins as she said, “You guys are gonna love this! I found out why Stella is so obsessed with finding nice names for the twins.”

“Nat, relax.” Steve said in a calm tone, despite his amusement smile. “But I’m intrigued.”

“Well I talked to Thiago and a few other sources, perks of being a spy, and he said that Stella’s real name is Pepa.” Natasha exclaims grinning.

“Pepa?!” Yelled the Steve and Rochelle at the same time.

“I have a Tia Pepa?!” Shouted Riley in surprise and disbelief, smiling widely.

Steve spoke up, “Wait, wait that doesn’t make any sense! Her first name is Estella, not once have any other paperwork ever said Pepa.”

Rochelle raised an eyebrow, “How?!”

Natasha kept an amusing look on her face as she explained, “Well, yes her name is Estella but everyone called her Pepa because that was her second name. I swear she has two middle names after that one! This woman has a long full name I’ll tell you that. According to Thiago, she was teased by everyone in Kindergarten and begged for it to be changed to Stella.”

Steve’s expression seemed to soften at the explanation given as Rochelle smiled sympathetically.

“Now that makes sense to me.” Rochelle said after a brief pause.

“Yeah.” Steve added, “Explains why she wanted more Americanized names and names with meaning behind them for us kids too.”

That’s when Stella walked in carrying bag of tap shoes smiling. She removed them from the bag.

“Look what I found.” She said in a sweet sing song tone, before placing them on the floor for Riley.

Riley grin brightly but there was a hint of mischief in her eyes as she replied, “Thank you for finding my shoes, Tia Pepa.”

Stella ruffled her blonde curls muttering a soft, “Your welcome.”

But as Stella turned to walk away, her brain fired up actually taking in Riley’s response. The brunette blinked in disbelief as her eyes darted over in a glare to Natasha, Steve and Rochelle.

The two redheads snorted covering their mouths trying to hide their laughter, as the blonde bit back a playful grin.

She looked back at Riley briefly as her voice turned critical and suspiciously, her eyebrows furrowed.

“What did you call me?” Stella asked.

Riley smirked, “Tia Pepa. That’s your name!”

That one line for the small blonde girl caused a ripple of laughter from Natasha, Rochelle and Steve.

However Stella pointed a finger that immediately struck the three to stop laughing, even though their smile stayed clear on their faces.

“Who told you my name was Pepa?” Stella asked, her eyes narrow and her finger pointed.

“Thiago.” Natasha answered grinning.

“He’s lying.” She quipped quickly, in a snappy tone.

Rochelle snorted and grinned similar to her mother, rubbing her belly watching the scene in front of her.

Steve smirked as his voice cut in a soft warning, “Stell.”

Stella dropped her finger and out her hands in her pocket as she muttered, “Okay. It’s…Pepa.”

That cause the trio, Riley included this time, to laugh. Stella sent that a little glare.

“Pepa isn’t just a name with meaning…but it’s my great grandmother’s name.” Stella explained in mock seriousness tone, “I’ll have you know that she was a lovely woman, who grew a garden of beans for the neighborhood back in then! Everyone ate very well those years.”

“And the name of that one character in Encanto!” Rochelle added, smiling and glancing up at the brunette. “Her mood affects the weather.”

“That too. Why do you think you did a double take when i heard her name?”

Steve couldn’t help but tease his wide as he snorted, “Fits you perfectly. Why didn’t you ever tell us?”

Stella shrugged and quickly remarked glancing over at them, “There was nothing to tell.”

“Oh really? Sounds like there was.”

“Well, growing up as a child in a mixed heritage neighborhood and going to school, you can get teased for your name. Kids are mean and insensitive!..so, well, I changed it.”

Rochelle nods in agreement and smiled sympathetically, “That I would agree with. They can be mean and cruel over something as simple as your name.”

“Makes sense why you want my grandchildren names to be nice and well thought out, huh?” Natasha asked smiling kindly.

“And why you named sure our children names have a flow to them.” Steve added grinning. “Or at least sound well with a meaningful background to them.”

Stella grinned in return of their understanding of her consistent approach towards baby names and how everyone’s name shouldn’t be criticized by the public.

However she adored nicknames and being able to play around with names whenever possible. It’s one of her favorite things.

Riley looked at her auntie still smirking as she asked, “So do you want me to call you Tia Pepa?”

Stella chuckled, “Pff! No, what am I, some kind of Salsa dancer? Come on, princess.”

The brunette tickled Riley who was sitting in Natasha’s lap and giggling at her auntie’s tickling skills.

Just as things were rolling into a nice follow of conversation, Thiago walked in with Michelle. They were carrying a set of chicken wings and potstickers in bags, with drinks.

“What did we miss?” Thiago asked grinning broadly.

Stella eyes darted up to her brother as she glared, “Run.”

His eye widen recognizing the look on his baby sisters face and smirked. He remembered exactly what he did and honestly didn’t regret it too much, however he ran out of spite. Stella follow behind her rushing out the living room door and dash down the hallway to follow him.

Michelle roared in laughter, as yelled and quoted, “Run, Forrest, run!”

Rochelle chuckled at her fiancé and snorted, “Be nice.”

“I’m always nice, now who’s hungry?”

“I am!”

Riley grinned scurrying off the couch in excitement and hunger following her auntie Michelle to the kitchen.

Natasha and Steve shared a look chuckling.

Marinette sank into the hospital bed, as the nurses checked over her newborn son.

"You did so well, M'Lady." Adrien whispered in her ear, "Our son is finally here."

Marinette smiled as the nurse brought their son over to her. She looked down and could see the little tufts of blonde hair. When he blinked, she could see blue eyes. From the corner of her eye, she saw the nurses leave to give them some privacy.

"A mix of us." She spoke.

"The world better watch out." he stated, making his wife giggle.

"He's so cute Adrien." Marinette declared, "What should we name him? I had some ideas, but I want your opinion, too."

"What were your ideas?" he asked.

Marinette blushed, "I sort-of....always liked the names Hugo or Louis."

"Hugo Agreste. Louis Agreste." he spoke, looking down at their son, "What about Naruto Agreste?"

"N-Naruto?" Marinette questioned.

"We-We don't have to!" Adrien immediately backtracked, "I liked your names, too!"

Marinette looked down at their son.

"Naruto Agreste." she smiled.

'It must mean something in Mandarin.'

"Wait. Really?" Adrien questioned.

"Yes." she replied, "Little Naruto Agreste."

"So, did you guys pick a name?" Alya questioned, over the phone.

Nino shouted, "Yeah, tell us!"

"I gave Adrien the two suggestions I liked, but he wanted a different name. I like it. It sounds nice and I think it's in Mandarin." Mari answered.

"Cool." Nino smiled, "What did he pick?"

"Naruto." the new mother answered.

"Naruto?" the other couple shouted.

"Yes?" Marinette replied, "Is-Is there something wrong with the name? Is it too weird?"

Alya just laughed and walked away. Nino smiled and took his phone out of his pocket.

"You do know you married a weeb, right?" he questioned.

"Don't tell me." Mari sighed, closing her eyes.

"Meet Naruto Uzumaki." Nino chuckled, as Alya continued to die of laughter in the background.

Marinette opened her eyes to see a blonde haired boy with blue eyes, similar to their newborn son.

"I'm gonna kill him." she answered.

Adrien walked back into the hospital room with some food and drinks from the hospital cafeteria. He wasn't expecting to see his wife so upset. She looked scarier than his father ever had.

'Had something happened to their son while he was gone?'

"M-Mari?" Adrien stuttered out.

"You can choose Hugo or Louis for our child's name." Marinette declared.

"What about-" he began.

Marinette turned her phone around and showed him Naruto Uzumaki.

Adrien winced, "Oh." and then smiled, "Middle name?"

"Hugo Naruto Agreste?" Mari questioned.

"Louis Naruto Agreste?" Adrien offered.

Marinette sighed, "Louis Naruto Agreste."

Adrien smiled happily and brought the food closer to Marinette.

"Your father drives me crazy sometimes, but I love him." She spoke, picking up their son.

"And I love you, M'Lady." Adrien replied, kissing her cheek.

"Dork." Marinette giggled.

"Still yours, though." He answered.

"Yes, you are." Marinette smiled, "Adrien?"

"Yeah?" he asked.

"You are not doing that ever again and if I find out that you went behind my back, I'm changing my name back to Dupain-Cheng." she growled out.

Adrien gulped and quickly nodded. Marinette smiled sweetly up at him.

"Good. That includes video game characters." Marinette continued.

"Aw, come on!" the new father whined, "Imagine having a girl named Zelda!"

"Adrien." she spoke.

"Or we can name it Link, if it's a boy again." he continued.

"Adrien." the new mother called.

"But they'll be so cute!" Adrien defended himself, "Emma Zelda Agreste! Hugo Link Agreste!"

"Adrien!" Marinette shouted.

He pouted, "It's unique."

So, not sure what’s spiking the fertility rates in my family but between both my family and my partner’s we have 4 babies arriving this year🥹🥹🥹 We just learned about number 4 today as my cousin told everyone over dinner tonight.
