the Charge potency mechanic is back, and is present in all 3 items of this release; This ID gains charge on Skills 1 and 3, and spends it on skills 1 and 2, which diverges from the standard which W/R corp id's had given us in the past
Passive:
Her passive is able to give increased damage up to 15% more damage while at 5 charge potency, While under 50% HP, gain an up to 25% additional increase to damage; Calculation is (3 x Charge Potency), and a bonus (5 x Charge Potency) under the threshold.
As all 3 charge potency passives, gain 1 charge potency for every 10 charge count spent.
Skill 1:
rolls 11 with no charge, gains 3 charge count on hit. can spend 5 Charge count for coin power, making it roll up to 15.
Skill 2:
Rolls for 16 without charge being spent. spends 10 charge to gain coin power, rolling for 22 Max. If at 5~9 Charge count, spend HP to gain necessary charge for conditional. (between 10 and 2% hp)
If in an envy resonance chain of 3+, which it should be because this is your primary source of damage, consume all charge count on self and deal (Charge potency + 4)% increased damage for every charge count this skill spent, including for the coin power conditional, to a maximum of 180% increase.
When accounting for passive, this is a 220% increase to damage from Kit alone.
Skill 3:
This Skill rolls for 16 base, theoretically at least. as this skill gives you charge, and gains coin power based on charge potency, which will be 1 by default, it's actual lowest-max roll is 19.
If used while you already have charge, this skill can roll for 20, 24, 28, and 32 at 1,2,3, and 4 charge potency respectively.
This skill on its own is able to give between 9 and 16 charge count based on potency which allows you to turn 2 your Skill 2 whilst gaining bonus damage due to the envy fragility which this skill applies.
While at 2+ Charge potency, inflict an additional Envy Fragility. While at 3+ charge potency, deal 8% increased damage on coin 4, max of 40% at 5 Potency.
This ID strikes a balance between gaining and spending charge count; The mechanic of charge potency works well with the skills 1 and 2 spending charge, rather than the skill 3 like previous ID's.
I do find that there is sometimes a difficulty in fights to gain your charge count efficiently due to your s2 being your most consistent skill, your skill 1 being slightly negative on charge, and only having 1 S3 in your deck.
Defence Skill:
Her defence skill is named charge and gives her charge.

Shockingly this EGO is not multi coined, depsite how long the animation is. Im starting to think that this is simply a thing with Charge related EGO and ID's because i predicted for the new ID's that they would reuse coins, the W corp Outis ID that it would reuse coins, and that this EGO would be multi coined.
This EGO rolls a 30, with an offence level of +5.
if at less than 10 Charge count, take 10% non lethal HP damage to gain +10 Charge count.
Consume all charge count on use, deal 1% increased damage for every charge count spent. (Max 30%) (technically consumes up to 40 Charge count, but the highest possible count outside of MD is 30, and there is no benefit higher than 30%)
Attack Weight 4, gains attack weight based on highest resonance, up to 6 attack weight total.
My main problem with this EGO is that it cant properly function without the use of W corp Outis, not only because it wants charge to function, but also because it wants Charge POTENCY, so even if she had another charge ID it wouldnt work to full efficiency.
[On hit] Inflicts Dimensional rift, max of 2 at 3 Charge Potency.
[On Hit] Gain 1 Haste and Load (something something outis gaining a load) for each charge potency. Note that you do in fact need charge potency to gain any, as this skill will consume ALL charge count, meaning that without a potency passive your Potency will be Zero. only 3 of either can be gained per use of the skill, which means that as long as you have W corp Outis passive, and 2 avaliable targets you gain max value from this.
[On kill] Does anybody give a shit about the on kill effects.

Passive:
max charge count +5, for a max of 25*
heres the other case of Needing charge potency to make use of this: skills which consume charge deal 2% increased damage for (Charge Potency - one), meaning that 6 is needed to gain the cap of 10%, and 2 is needed to activate this at a minimum.

Passive:
charge potency for charge spent, as usual.
when at 2+ charge potency, gain haste, which will be important Later. At 3+ potency, gain additional Haste and clash power Up
Skill 1:
Rolls for 10, Spends 5 charge to roll 12. Gains 4 charge, making it 1 negative for charge count.
Skill 2:
Rolls for 13 base. Consumes charge//HP with the same conditional as faust's skill 2 to roll for 19.
This skill inflicts up to 4 defence level down, and 2 HP healing down, which makes its return from like 5 events ago in Hells Chicken.
A new effect, named photoelectricity, which gives the attacker charge count equal to count on hit (or count +3 if they are below 5 count), similar to Spark discharge but without the rupture count
Skill 3:
rolls for 13 base. Gains charge count based on potency, anywhere between 10 and 19 charge count.
at 2 and 4 charge potency rolls for 17 and 21 respectively.
inflicts the photoelectricity effect on hit. inflicts same turn Blunt fragility on hit, however as he gains haste from his passive, its not as bad as some others, however it means that he cant inflict both blunt fragility and defence level down in the same turn without using multiple slots.
Defence skill:
His defence skill is named charge and gives him charge

The first TWEWY game was the best
I always tell people that I recommend this series to to play the original on the DS. Of course, they hardly listen to me, but I stand my ground on this.
The gameplay of the original TWEWY was built for the DS, unlike many DS titles that simply allowed for use of the touch screen. It has left-handed friendly controls, and multiple different play styles on several levels for players to play however they wish.
The story aside (it's amazing, but I don't want to spoil it), The gameplay is what draws me in every time I replay it. It's not easy, it provides a challenge no matter how you play, but it's so satisfying.
On the bottom screen, you control Neku and attack with pins you acquire throughout the game. Each pin has a different command associated with it (press and hold, swipe, tap empty space, this is even how you dodge attacks) and is mandatory to master to complete the game.
On the top screen, you control your partner, Shiki, using the ABXY or direction buttons next to the touch screen. This is optional, as you can set your partner to automatically attack on their own, but giving yourself the extra challenge pays off with better combos and higher defensive tactics.
I could go on and on about different mechanics, and I will admit, the first TWEWY had it's flaws. You could only eat so much food a day. You can unlock unlimited eating in the post-game. This is a problem my friends playing on the phone port have faced, but on the Switch or DS you can easily change the date and grind out your stats. Don't worry, the game doesn't even notice!
NEO: TWEWY is good. I enjoyed playing through it, but the gameplay just didn't have the same spark. I felt like I was just mashing buttons the whole time. The atmosphere felt more like I was running through the scramble crossing, eating across Dogonzaka, but the battle mechanics just didn't feel quite as satisfying.
The series as a whole? I love it with my whole being, but nothing can beat the Experience of the original on the DS.
It's easy to pirate the DS version, hell, I only got to play it because I received a pirated copy. I'd recommend getting an R4 if you intend on mass piracy, but used copies go for less if your not ready to sail the high seas. I shilled out for the squeakual after I fell in love with the first.
I played them back to back today, and I can say with certainty that the second made be feel worse after remembering my love for the first.
But yeah PLAY TWEWY IT"S SO GOOOOOD.

Can I take a sec to GUSH about the Animated Wings Mod by @sp-creates ✨ Seeing Edin with their accurate wing size and watching them flutter is everything for gameplay. The wings come in three different sizes, which is perfect because canonically, Edin is pretty small for a Guardian, so their wings aren't massive as they should be at their age.

But that doesn't stop them from trying 🥹. There's a ton of effects too and I believe if you have the Fairies VS Witches Mod, they can't fly right away, they have to develop their powers. *chef's kiss*

Thinking very hard about nine sols. I have like. 2 other AUs also on the mind as well
But for now it really fascinated me how both yi and ji have immortality but are at different stages in their life and handle it differently, so I played around with what would happen if their ages were swapped such that Yi lived through history and became the Kunlun Immortal, and Ji joined the Council as a young Sol.
Yi / Ji Ageswap/Roleswap AU
Though they’ve swapped positions in time, I wanted to keep their powers and personalities mostly the same. Yi’s aged up design is based on his statue outside of the Four Seasons Pavilion. I’m still thinking through whether or not Yi would still propose the Eternal Cauldron Project with the experience of having lived through history, and I think so. I think living even longer and having to watch more people he loves die before him would make him even more strongly attached to the idea of immortality and longevity, and ensuring the survival of as many solarians as possible so that he doesn’t end up alone on Penglai in the end. I don’t think Ji would be able to kill him because it seems like Ji and Yi’s immortalities differ— Yi can always regenerate as long as the Fusang is healthy, while Ji, as shown in the game, can die if he takes too much damage.
I have a lot more thoughts in this au so I might do a few more doodles at some point but just this for now!

Not a horror movie, but SOMA is a really good game that could work for a heartbreaking Trigun AU. For an actual movie rec, Dark Water (2002) is a good one.
okay forgive me because i've seen the remake of dark water from 2005 n while i imagine there are some significant differences between iterations, i'm gonna say i get the gist of it, but.
so i realize i've never actually spoken at length about my own trigun college au over here and since the fic is in my drafts indefinitely this is WILDLY out of context but like. i never actually landed on a backstory for vash and knives, i figure that true to canon vash has a lot of holes in his memory and knives won't fill those in for him so this sort of thing wouldn't really come up in the story, and as far as vash is aware life might as well have started when rem adopted them

30+ Sims4Ever Save File
30+ Sims4Ever is a group of adults aged 30 and up. The group was created back in May at the request of a Redditor. The group has taken off since then with 165 members with the anticipation of more leading up to the drop of our save file.
We are looking to release 4 worlds as early as December 1st and as late as December 31st:
Willow Creek
Magnolia Promenade
Newcrest
San Sequoia
Willow Creek (Heavily inspired by Georgia)
Lore:
The biggest industry left in Willow Creek is tourism, and even that is beginning to fade. Desperate to revitalise the city, the mayor relaxes several local restrictions to allow more fishing, and restart the previously decommissioned riverboats. Meanwhile, he heavily advertises to the movie industry, leading to a surge in movie tourism after a major period drama is filmed there. Overall, the plan works, and Willow Creek begins to distinguish itself as a destination, but the costs are high. The historic downtown area is cleaned up but also gentrified, and many workers can’t afford to live nearby, being pushed to the outskirts of Newcrest. The fishing and riverboats have brought in tourists but also gangs of environmental protesters, angry at the pollution and habitat destruction. But hey, the money has been good, and construction on the mayor’s new estate has finally finished.
Newcrest - 90's Time Capsule (Heavily inspired by Maine)
Lore:
Newcrest has a reputation as a quiet bedroom community. The schools in the area are some of the best in the country for beginning and intermediate education. One such school is Newcrest Charter, a well-funded private school. The reputation is glossy on the outside but there are cracks.  The police chief and Charter administrator have a deal to keep both their kids out of trouble - one with the law and one with their grades.
Mayor Azalea Simmons is oblivious to this scheme, and likely any others in the world. Unlike her surrounding politicians, Azalea doesn’t get wrapped up in legislating mumbo jumbo, she’s too busy keeping Newcrest affordable, and pleasant to live in. Which in her mind means - keeping it 1996 forever.
Magnolia Promenade (Heavily mixed with Georgia & Maine)
Lore:
Many of the buildings in Magnolia Promenade are old. Once historic structures like schools, warehouses, and homes, many have been converted into businesses. Maerina Walsh owns one such business in the prestigious shopping district - a quaint bed and breakfast. She has a reputation as an absolute nightmare of a boss. It's said to be lucky if she fires you on the first day, as she punishes others with impossible or gruelingly menial tasks. There is a longstanding rumor among locals that the ghost of an employee she once locked in the basement now haunts the establishment, though older residents say the ghost dates back to the original building. Maerina is well aware of the rumors but hasn’t disputed them, because as many people as they scare off, they also attract potential customers looking to catch a sight of the ghost.
San Sequoia (Heavily inspired by San Francisco)
Lore:
Ricky Pyler has grown San Sequoia into a major contender in the pharmaceutical and medical fields. Many large companies, production facilities, and conventions have relocated to the city, bringing a boom to the economy. Pharmaceutical companies have manipulated development deals, health information, and begun to illegally dump their waste in the river that runs downstream to Willow Creek. Zara Marquez, has been a nurse in San Sequoia for decades. She’s noticed an uptick in certain illnesses that are symptoms of this pollution which has brought her to run for Mayor herself. Another campaign opponent comes onto the scene in the form of Caleb Vargas - a rather young man from the business sector. Nobody really knows who he is, but he is extremely and strangely well funded. In reality he’s starting to bribe and bankroll many of Ricky’s old contacts with the intention of using them for his own devices

Important to note:
As we move closer to the deadline for the release of the save file a release of which simmers worked on which lot will be released
A list of all expansions, game, stuff and kit packs will be released advising what was used for the save file. There are no pack restrictions for contributors
All townies will have base game outfits so that no single townie is walking around partially naked
All townies have been assigned careers, children have grades and everyone has a relationship with their current houehold and others
Ghosts will be available in game
Townies will be added to clubs
Newcrest is a 90's time capsule
All lots that have additional structures were built in mind that if the structure differed from the lot type it would not impact the overall gameplay. (this means that a lot set as a Resturant with a resturant and movie theatre does not impact the overall function of the lot)
All lots have been game play tested
There will be a tool mod version of this game
Any simmers who are not comfortable downloading a tray file or those playing on console will be able to follow a legend to download from the gallery to upload lots and families
What to Expect in the coming months:
As we move closer to deadlines we will have more members submit. From the time members submit the lot is play tested by a second person to ensure that everything functions correctly and the lot has met minimum requirements. Once that is completed we have the file upload to the save.

Stillsands Tallneck done! So so fun, bringing down a Tallneck was truly a magical experience considering how absolutely impenetrable and monolithic they were in Zero Dawn. Can't wait to do more.

Adventures in Playing with Unicorn Mods 🦄
I went out mod hunting today and was rewarded with a new mod find on MTS called Unicorn Adventures by LuSimLaStars. As the unicorn addict that I am, I knew this mod had to go in my game. Right now. I also knew it had to go in with Spinning Plumbob's Unicorn Mod for Horse Ranch. I had to know if they would play well together.

Unicorn Adventures adds a variety of unicorn interactions to game play. Phone options, rabbit holes to visit, a new lot trait, AND it changes the name of Sylvan Glade to Unicornville - which, holy unicorn poop, made me laugh so hard. It was the name change to Sylvan Glade that made me want to test this mod with the Unicorn Mod installed. You go to the Sylvan Glade to find unicorns you see.
Long story short, these mods play nice together. I just go to Unicornville to find unicorns now, you jive?

Sims can start their unicorn adventure by buying a Unicornology book or three from a bookshelf. Its right there among the skill books when you look to read it! This gets your sim the Unicornology skill. Each level of the skill unlocks new interactions and options for your sim to participate in. Woot!

When your sim builds the Unicornology skill, they unlock a new phone menu - Sparkles. In there are a variety of unicorn activities your sim can do. Also, travel activities to send your sims to rabbit holes! Despite this screenshot, going to the cinema to watch a Pony movie really is just a walk-off-the-lot rabbithole. Hey, comes with a custom buff though!

There is a whole chat menu that opens up as your sim learns Unicornology. You can ramble at other sims about unicorns all day long if you want! There is also supposed to be a pie menu on the computer to run a unicorn blog and write a unicorn book - as of today (May 17th, 2024) I can't get this to show up for me. I stripped every mod from the game except this and the xml injector and still no computer options. I let the creator know about that. Could be just a me thing though, who knows.

That Uni stuffed animal that toddlers can babble at? You know the one. The Unicorn Adventure mod makes that into the portal to Sylvan Glade Unicornville. Click the view option on it a few times until other options begin to show up. Its a text based adventure to get in, just like Sylvan Glade has always been.

You can still use the classic tree portal in Willow Creek as well, but having the Uni as a portal in your sim's house is pretty useful. Once you make it to Sylvan Glade Unicornville, those with the Unicorn Mod installed can search for unicorns just like they always have.

The unicorn, Gary (thank you, game, for that magical random name) showed up after a few searches and we are all set to have a real unicorn in our family and talk about unicorns ad nauseam with every dang nabbed sim we meet. 🦄🦄🦄
