Crowley inhaled deeply, but it was a bad idea to do so: the scent of Aziraphale was far too intoxicating. “So that's what you came for? To ask for my help with the boy?” He finally asked. As much as he tried to hide his disappointment, the attempt failed. Aziraphale would have liked to reply that he did not give a fig about Revelation, about the child, about Heaven, about anything but Crowley. Instead he lowered his eyes again. “I need you, Crowley” again Aziraphale blushed to the tips of his ears. It didn't seem too far-fetched for him to add, “I seem to have told you that already,” looking out the window. Crowley, behind his dark glasses, also blushed and looked away. Was that an outstretched hand? “And-and you came...just for this?” he dared to ask. He had read the notes in the books. He knew that Aziraphale loved him, or at least had loved him. Deeply. Desperately. Tenderly. Aziraphale buried his chin in his neck and squinted slightly. The blush on his face was increasing. He looked at the toe of his shoes and then let his eyes wander across the room. “You know it's not like that.”

Sitting here watching s2xe5 and it’s the scene where Crowley is asking Aziraphale why his French is so bad and he says “I went to Monsieur Rossignol’s night classes in 1760”.

I decided to Google if this was a real person since the name wasn’t familiar to me, and instead I had my giant gay heart stomped on by Neil Gaiman once again.

The French word for nightingale: Rossignol

It’s the language of romance and Aziraphale took night classes with a Mr. Nightingale. I CAN’T BREATHE.
