The tragedy of season 6 Castiel

Season 6 Castiel just breaks my freaking heart.

If I had to chose two dialogues to sum up his whole situation it wouldn't be the popular ones like 'where were you when I needed to hear it" or even "Dean, it's not broken!"

Nothing explains what he's going through more than when he kills the angel attacking him for Raphael in 6x03

"why wont any of you listen"

after he begged him to not fight because he didn't want to kill another one of his brothers

or when he told Sam and Dean at the end of 6x15

"When will I be able to make you understand?"

He's stuck between rock and a hard place and yes, he's not talking because, hey, he learned free will from the Winchesters and they are not the ideal human beings. He thinks he has to do this by himself because he doesn't want to burden Sam and Dean (who does that sound like, I wonder?) but at the same time, its also true that for the entire first half of the season Dean was so completely busy with Sam and his soul problem that he didn't really make Cas feel like he could come to him with his problem.

Cas doesn't want to kill any more angels but they wont stop trying to bring about the apocalypse which will hurt his humans and Cas can't have that.

Cas doesn't want to hurt sam or ignore dean but dean is being a selfish prick who only cares about his problem (admittedly, its a big problem and we all know how irrational dean gets when Sam is in trouble) but it all makes Cas realize he can't rely on Winchesters.

Its an impossible situation. It's classic miscommunication trope done brilliantly with two dumbasses who are simply unable to use their words.

Not to mention how prickly Sam and Dean are being. They snap at him all the time, refuse to listen to anything over what they believe to be right and Raphael just keeps trying to kill him any chance he gets. No wonder the poor angel looks TIRED the whole season.

And the cherry on top he's feels betrayed (they mean well, but he's not in the mindset to see that) by all his friends and that just breaks him. I think every thing Sam, Dean and Balthazar did to try to stop him from going after the purgatory souls only made him feel like he needed to do it all the more. And isn't that ironic.

Cas made some questionable choices, there's no denying that, but lets not forget that is simply Supernatural every single season. Only the questionable choices before were made by Sam or Dean or even John.

I think season 6 did nothing but solidify Cas another one of the pigheaded, dumbass, on his way to hell paved with the best of intentions. Season 6 didn't just make Cas more human, it proved he was a true Winchester!

Might be a bit of a weird thing but I want to see Kai's sudden anger sprouts or emotional outbreaks to come back, or basically some aspects of pre S8 Kai.

I want to see Kai motherfucking smith be mad at anyone really.

The Merge just happened and fuck me his family is scattered again, they're probably just as worried and confused and scared as him and he's sick of everyone he cares about getting constantly in danger, intentionally or not.

And then he meets Lloyd, or Nya, and he's sorta relieved but at the same time, the others are still missing out there somewhere.

So he gets clingy onto them, "if I can't find the rest I have to keep the ones I have close me to safe."

Of course this comes from worrying over the others and their safety, and if the name "Imperium" and if their nindroids and Vehicles and genrals are anything to go off of, they're an absolute force to be wrecked with.

Doesn't help either that there's the responsibility now of ensuring Sora and Arin (and Riyu) are safe as well.

And the moment I want to see him have an anger or emotional outburst is in a scenario where Nya makes a one off comment about Kai being overbearing and protective of them.

And Kai just snaps at Nya.

He goes on a large fucking tangent about how he's always had to stay calm in clearly shitty situations, because they as a group just keep getting separated time and time and time again, danger around the corner at any given moment and he's tired of it.

And it would especially hurt him that the comment comes from Nya out of all people, because not too long ago she was still one with the sea, he had to sacrifice his entire childhood just to raise and protect her, and he knows to respect her boundaries and beliefs but in his mind the last time he went too soft it ended up with her sacrificing herself for them.

And he doesn't want to go soft nor can he because at any given moment, one of them could give their entire being just to save the others, and he's seen it way too many times, so he just can't.

Damian Headcannons!

He’s totally a Disney baby. He loves everything disney, and he likes to have disney movie nights. This fact only gets known by the family once he was comfortable enough to show his true child self. The family indulges him by taking him to Disney on special occasions of his life.

He’s a sweetheart deep down, he offers hugs as comfort when he sees anyone cry. He always ask if it’s ok to hug them before he does, and respects the answer he’s given.

He likes to hang out a lot with his siblings, he’s a little bit too attached to them. Dick is running errands? He’s tagging along. Jason is in the batcave fixing something? He’s sitting close by for some chit chat. Tim is working on a case? He’s sitting right next to him, leaning on Tim and possibly napping. Cass is dancing? He’s right there drawing her elegant poses.

He likes to be carried, especially when he’s sleepy. Too stuffed after dinner to even get up? Bruce will definitely carry his baby and tuck him into bed.

He’s an angel once he knows his family will love him no matter what, but he can be a demon when he feels overwhelmed, especially with noise and and there’s too much going on around the house. His family knows to take him somewhere quiet and calm until he feels ok again. If he snaps, someone will carry him and cover him in a nice soft blanket before taking him to a nice quiet spot in the house.

His siblings like to pepper kisses all over his little face. He’s just too cute, they can’t resist. Damian secretly loves it, even though he shies away from them.

going to brainrot specifically about this panel right here:

this panel highlights how important geto suguru was to kenjaku's plan - he's literally the missing piece and without his turn in ideaology and death in jjk 0 kenjaku's plan may not have come to fruition. but what's more significant about this panel is the wording itself - the use of the word 'boy', and the tie-in with a picture of young suguru geto.

using 'boy' rather than 'person' calls suguru's youth into perspective. words like 'person' brings with it an ambiguity or vagueness to the age of the individual - it could've been a child, a teenager, a parent, or even an elder. but the fact that the word 'boy' is used highlights suguru's youth and how important it was that what happened, happened when he was young.

at 17, much like any other teenager, suguru geto is experiencing the world and coming to understand it in his own ways and methods, while still maintaining a strong belief in jujutsu society. but the death of riko amanai in hidden inventory arc shatters this completely - his whole world, one which placed the importance of a mere concept over the life of a highschool girl, is now replaced with a multitude of questions and whether jujutsu society is worth it anymore. this is also voiced by gojo satoru's own thoughts about dismantling jujutsu society and his lines about killing all the remaining cult members while he has riko's body. suguru's downward spiral is so influenced by these progression of events, and coupled with the troubles of youth, turn him to the path away from jujutsu society and towards the eradication of non-sorcerers.

many times during the story we see how the youth of the characters is exploited for the "greater good". hidden inventory does this very well through riko amanai's story and geto's and gojo's characters during this time. the transformation of suguru's youth cements his position in kenjaku's plan. adult suguru geto, if he hadn't gone down a different path, probably would've made kenjaku's plans much more complicated. but young suguru geto, greatly impacted and hurt by seeing the death of riko amanai and the lasting repercussions it has on himself and gojo satoru, was perfect.

being referred to as a boy and a flashback to young suguru geto really highlights that suguru was just a boy. a boy who was so young and so hopeful, and deserved so much better than what he received.
