my Future Rewrite AU, I created it when DR s1p1 came out but i'm trying to shape it around the canon

Ninjago Future AU is my own take on Ninjago starting DR s1p1 as that's when i created it so even things like the Administration are different. The AU focuses on next generations of EMs - the Ninja's kids and then their great-grandkids with some important backstory for those from Ninja's grandkids.

In the map part Koda (Jaya kid, ex-Master of Water) is in possession of a USB with a coded message from Jay, his father, about important information regarding the danger that is a group of powerful cannibalistic oni (all oni are but only when there's no other easy source of food. These are strictly cannibalistic).

Since the Administration with Jay and Pixal in the lead started working on, in short, time travel, years after "canon" is resolved, this became an intertime issue. Older Jay knew about it since he was sent into the future when he was younger to help resolve this issue and knew he had to leave a code to be found so the portal could be opened from the future.

In the recording that was on the USB he explains the situation and what needs to be done before shooting a special chip into his skull, not killing him but leaving him in a bad state (he lived and was actually the last human OG ninja to die, Lloyd living for a few thousands of years and Zane and Pix deactivating after a few centuries).

We then see Lloyd, Xynth (Lloyd's granddaughter and Master of Wind, it's a whole story), Zack (Master of Water) and Jan (Master of Ice) reacting to the message and then Jay's skull, which they had to dig out, with the chip still sitting in it.

Since Ubisoft makes NFTs of Rayman, I don’t feel bad about rewriting the whole show (kinda)

Me and @rainbow-wolf120 both kinda/really like CLH, but we both have issues with it. Soooo why not rework some stuff while keeping the core the same? Seems easy enough (NOT). First up is Bullfrog :)

More stuff below cut:

Bullfrog is my favorite character of the show. I love him, he’s awesome and fun and kind when everyone else is sorta giant assholes. Also his design is very clean and cute, and I don’t really have issues with him.

HOWEVER, I do have a couple grievances with how he dresses and his motives.

On one hand, if he is the last of the brotherhood, WHY DRESS SO OBVIOUSLY LIKE AN ASSASSIN?? This is an issues I have with Dolph too, bc like, if you are supposed to be under the radar, you would think HIDING the parts of you that GIVE AWAY WHO YOU ARE WOULD BE OBVIOUS. But no, no you need interesting looking protags ig.

Another thing that irks me is that there are so many cool assassins in the Assassin’s Creed universe. So many. And they choose to base Bullfrog on Ezio. I get it for marketing ig, but like, there’s literally a French assassin (AC Unity), but no, the French frog gets to be Italian lol. Although I find it funny, I feel like the whole thing was a missed opportunity to give exposer to the lesser-played AC games. Or use it to promote AC Shadows by making Bullfrog a girl or like the woman assassin from that game. Or better yet, combine a ton of different aspects of every AC game into the outfit.

Which is what I did lol.

To fix both these problems, I decided to design two looks for her (he’s a her now, stone me idc, also sorry every Laserfrog shipper ever it’s not personal I promise). The one on the left is her assassin fit. It drives a lot more inspo from AC Shadows and AC Unity, with elements of Ezio and Bullfrog’s original look. However, most of Bullfrog’s initial look is incorporated in the outfit on the right, which is the subtlety outfit. That is the outfit she starts the series with, only to take it off in the sewers to reveal she’s an assassin.

When in the subtle outfit, she tries to hide as much of herself as possible. Her assassin parts, her frog parts, and her girl-ness. Kinda. She just presents as a man so people don’t fuck with her. As for the assassin fit, it shows up in the Sewer scene when she’s fighting the dudes down there. Then they identify her once she’s arrested and surprises Rayman with being a girl lol.

And to everyone who gets pissy about her being a girl, the show needs more girls.

In your April meets the turtles post, you said the brothers' timlines were unnaturally tied to Mikey's. Does this mean he was supposed to find these Bad Ending versions of his brothers– who had no family left– so he could adopt them as his own brothers? And if so, what is the force behind the scenes orchestrating this 'reunion'? Ancestors? A cosmic being? The timelines having their own way of ordering themselves? Or is it just an anomaly?...How much does this matter to the overall story? Am I just being pedantic at this point?

This dives deep into how I personally interpret the multiverse and alternate timelines, my own headcanons and all that jazz, so allow me a moment to attempt to elaborate on this XD

To me, it seems reasonable to assume that the multiverse is a bit of a fragile thing. Powerful and tough in its own right, but it can only deal with so much stress before it just breaks.

So in my mind, I like to think that physically, this AU is a bit. . . weird. In comparison to other AU's mechanical structure that is.

Most other universes deal with just one timeline. There are certain instances of course where maybe two timelines cross over to one another, merging together to become one (ex. the whole Casey Jr situation in the movie.)

I would assume there would've been a few minor, hardly noticeable repercussions, but it wasn't enough to cause any serious issues to the overall universe.

My AU? It has four coexisting timelines, each with their own unique experiences and outcomes. They're so incredibly different that they should have branched off to become their own separate worlds; and yet they are so incredibly similar that the connection was never properly severed.

Hence the reason why Mikey was able to find them so quickly.

He pulled them all together, causing a multiversal anomaly.

Scientifically speaking, it shouldn't even be possible. That kind of strain would normally cause a cataclysmic collapsion that wouldn't just destroy all four timelines -

- It would essentially create a wormhole more powerful than space and time itself, leaving nothing left of this world.

But that never happened.

When Michelangelo returned home with his brothers, out of the three parents' reactions, Baron Draxum's was probably the most. . . explosive.

Not out of anger of course, but out of shock and maybe a bit of fear. Being the kind of guy that he is, he's done his fair share of research on the multiverse. He knows what should have happened when Mikey didn't, and has been searching for answers since the day the boys arrived.

Why hadn't everything completely fallen apart??

He found the answer when he decided to examine the timeline itself.

Draxum discovered the reason why the timeline hadn't completely collapsed was because an immense power source was stabilizing everything.

And not just a power source - a living, breathing, intelligent life form, channelling an unbelievable amount of mystic energy unlike anything he had ever come across before.

Any little information given in ancient writings about this unknown being was cryptic and impossible to make out.

But in one old Japanese scroll, worn by time, Draxum was able to find one key note:

神秘的な戦士。 (Shinpi tekina senshi.)

一族の末っ子。 (Ichizoku no suekko.)

最後の浪人。(Saigo no rōnin.)

You ask if Mikey was always meant to find these "bad endings," and I suppose it depends on whether the viewer believes in fate or not.

Do I believe Mikey was meant to?

Yes.

Yes I do.

Clone High: The Future Of Forever

So to get things out of the way I'm making this rewrite/AU of the Clone high reboot. They're obviously gonna be things different like storylines, personalities, relationships and the direction of the show. I'm no writer by all means, not even close, I'm just doing this for fun. I'm not finished writing some episodes and I'm not sure what medium to present the story so I'm just planning on making posters for each episode when I finish writting it. Similar to what Tara Billinger did when each S2 episode came out. And also give the tittle and a lil synopsis of the episode so Here's episode 1 synopsis!

“Can I ask you something?”

It was another late night out on the tracks. The crowds and press had long gone, and all that remained was the two of them, as well as their cars. This wasn’t a new routine, but it had become normal. A breath of fresh air between each event, a moment of silence between each public appearance.

“Ask me what?” She questioned him in turn. There was an edge to her voice, as if she was preparing to put her guard back up. As quickly as she had let it down.

Coop looked at her nervously.

“I don’t know if it’s too much, or if it’s too soon, but… why’d you choose to become a racer?” He leaned against the side of the tracks. “Considering your… history.”

Cruise stared at him a moment longer, before laughing at his statement. Her laugh typically sounded cruel, but this was different. There was an air of amusement. It was… genuine.

“Of course you’d want to know that.” She said, going to sweep her bangs from her eyes. Coop took note of the action, as he tried his best to think of an appropriate response to her reaction.

“You don’t… you don’t have to answer!” He insisted, awkwardly holding out his hand.

Cruise snorted. “Stop that!” She said, a grin still on her face. “I’ll tell you. After all, it’ll be nice if at least one person knows.”

Her face softened, as she turned her gaze to the Street Shrieker. She looked at the car, as if recalling a memory.

“I’ve always wanted to race. But you know my father. He’s against anything with wheels!” She hummed. “I was so surprised when he built me my own car, and started training me to be a racer! It was the best feeling in the world, being able to both make him proud, and get to race, that I didn’t care about how or why I was getting to race.”

Cruise tore her eyes away from her car, looking up at the night sky. “But after that whole… fiasco ended, with us, and the ultimate garage, I was expected to stop racing. For things to go back to how they had been, or to move on to a skill that was more… useful to his goal.”

“We’re calling it a fiasco now, huh?” Coop smirked. He looked over to Cruise, realising his mistake. “Sorry.”

“Stop apologising!” She snapped playfully, but the sour undertone of her voice seeped through. She continued to speak, moments later. “To be a racer was to be against everything he wanted. It wasn’t just business- he saw it as a personal attack.”

“So you chose racing over your dad?” He asked, looking at her intently.

She shook her head, finally looking back into his eyes.

“I wouldn’t say that.”

“Then what would you say?”

Cruise thought for a moment, before coming to her conclusion.

“I’d say… I chose me. I don’t want to live to achieve his goals, I want to do things because I want to do them, make a name for myself, instead of being an extension of his. And so.. I’m here. Trying my best to keep going, to get better, despite everything.”

Coop nodded, taking the words in.

“Do you regret it? Leaving everything behind to pursue your dreams?”

Cruise raised her eyebrow again. “This is getting to be more than one question, Cooper.”

Cruise was the only person to consistently use his full first name- it was a playful insult of sorts.

“Well… do you?” He pushed, choosing to grin.

Cruise laughed again, the same genuine laugh as before. She rolled her eyes fondly, before speaking.

“…No. I don’t.”
