you guys it was maybe a month ago i was SOBBING to God, not once but twice that week because i was struggling terribly with my social skills and feeling so insecure and embarrassed. I felt like i lost all my progress i had made over the past few years. to now in the past weeks i have felt so much more confident while talking to people, even people at work i barely even know and multiple people have told me they can see my personality coming through/i'm like a new person. that has blown me away!!! He is literally bringing me to life. ALL I DID WAS BEGIN GOING TO CHURCH AND ALL OF THESE THINGS HAVE BEEN POURED OUT UPON ME! i decided to try and not overthink how i'm coming across and what i'm going to say and it's released the pressure off of me. i've surrendered that to God to handle because i didn't want to deal with it anymore and He has been taking care of it so fast. my confidence has grown so much in the shortest amount of time ever in my life. like He really meets me in the darkest places and soon after begins to move and renews my mind and Spirit and attitude and perspective on things. He has been in the process of helping me move through fear as i walk into it but continues to deliver me out of it into a better place. He is helping me with my endurance and it's made me to trust in Him in deeper ways. i've begun delighting in Him with tenderness and am soaking in His peace and it's been grounding. like i've entered a new layer of peace with Him and my gosh it's so gentle and tangible and i just want to stay there forever in that Presence sometimes. my spiritual discipline isn't the greatest at times and He's getting me there (Psalm 23:1-2 moment.) But my goodness it's wild to have gone from believing in Christ but not putting my faith to action to now doing exactly that and i have just been receiving blessing after blessing - whether it's spiritual (seeing grace everywhere) or relational (just people loving me like Jesus or enjoying my job and adoring going to church and talking to people every week as i practice my social skills.) I say this all the time "idk why all of a sudden He's decided to start blessing me in these ways and what did i do to deserve it?" i know i did nothing and that He has always loved me right where i'm at but it's interesting as i follow the patterns of these past few months and i can't help but wonder if it's all because i have been taking steps of faith into the unknown and it's tested my trust in Him and endurance in those "dim mirrors" as Paul would say which has brought me into closer communion with Christ and i've been able to "see more clearly" and understand things on a deeper spiritual level. idk but ugh HE IS SO GOOD I AM CONSTANTLY TOUCHED AND HE IS JUST DOING GREAT THINGS WITHIN ME AND THE OTHERS AROUND ME. I wish i could talk ab these things without sounding repetitive but i swear He is doing these things and having me learn them/lessons over and over again to show me that i can trust Him and work things out of me to bring the new in. i really do love Him so much my gosh i really do. This is the best season of my entire walk with Him since i got saved in 2021 nearly 4 whole yrs ago and i am trying to soak it all in and even process it!!!! so i share all of this on here bc it's a lil diary for me, i love to share what He's doing for me to show others He can do it for anyone and i want to give hope to others with my testimonies. i have had so many of these recently and it's made me so joyful 🥹

“Isaiah 10:27 defines the anointing as the burden-removing, yoke-destroying power of God. The anointing is what delivers God’s people and sets the captives free.
Satan is the enemy of our souls. He has set his sights on us. He bows us down with burdens and lays heavy yokes across our necks—to steal, kill, and destroy us. But when the enemy comes in like a flood, God raises a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). The anointing destroys the yoke!
Blessing: May the LORD bless you and keep you. May the LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May God lift every burden from your shoulders. May His anointing destroy every yoke under which you struggle. You are set free by the power of Jesus Christ!
"It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” —Isaiah 10: 27 (NKJV)

UNDERSTANDING OUR RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD
Many think righteousness equates to following the law, but this is a religious mindset. Living under the Law leads to death. If you live by the Law, the Law will require righteousness from you that you are unable to fulfill on your own, putting you in a position where you will be judged by that Law, and the Law is an unforgiving judge. But the good news is that Jesus came so that you may have life and life more abundantly.
Romans 8:3-5 tells us that God sent His only Son in the form of sinful flesh to condemn sin in the flesh, so that the righteous requirement of the Law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Matthew 5:17 tells us that Jesus did not come to abolish the Law or the prophets, He came to fulfill them.
"But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:21-24, NIV)
Righteousness does not come from our good deeds; our righteousness comes from our faith in the blood of Jesus and what it bought for us -- righteousness is our right standing with God.
Jesus + nothing else = salvation.
Not Jesus + striving, or Jesus + how good we are = a religious mindset.
Does this mean that as a child of God you can live however you want then? No, it simply means we shift from obeying the law to allowing Jesus to live His life through us -- we are ;living our life through Jesus' righteousness. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21).

I had been feeling off lately. Not coming to my Bible reading or prayer with my whole heart (which I initially tried to frame as "not getting anything from it but that was a result of not coming with my whole self).
So I said a simple prayer asking God to help me see what I needed to adjust.
I thought it might be how much I have been reading cause I can get a bit manic with that, or the amount of time I spent working through ideas for my stories, or even just reading while I rock my daughter to sleep.
Then I was thinking through a particular scene and I realized what I was doing.
When I was younger and new to faith I gave up writing stories for a long time because while my stories themselves were not raunchy, my mind certainly was, and the stories always gave a background for my mind to indulge in lustful fantasy.
So I gave it up.
I hadn't thought about that in a long time because my mind didn't really use my stories that way anymore.
But the particular scenes I was fixating on lent themselves to it.
Last night I had a good prayer time, good reading after a day of reading for hours and worldbuilding for my stories.
Because the problem was that simple foothold I was giving the enemy and my forgetfulness about my freedom in Christ.
I don't know if this makes a lot of sense, but I hope it encourages someone. If you are having a hard time approaching the throne lately, know that you are not rejected, just take some time to pray and see if the enemy snuck in some footholds while your attention was elsewhere. I promise God is all about freeing you from that. The Spirit will speak to you and guide you if you listen.
Praise God for the saving blood of Christ, the wisdom and guidance of His Spirit and the freedom bought for us.
#freedom in Christ#faith#Christianity#and i know some people will see my freedom and think me repressed#i just rejoice to know those chains only have the power if i let them

And, Jesus was so kind to women, treating them with respect and just as important people as men are. In those times, that wasn't much of a concept. Jesus put a big emphasis on treating the most vulnerable, innocent, and ones seen in "lesser importance" in society with kindness, gentleness, love and care: women/widowed women, children, the poor, blind, deaf, unable to walk/having any other form of disability, etc. As women, we are more emotionally in tune. Jesus opened a door of grace and freedom towards women to receive Him. We recognize the safety and love He brings. I don't think this means women as a whole are more receptive to the gospel and heart of Jesus than men are, not at all, i just know that we harbor gifts that relate directly towards His nurturing Spirit. He gave us space to act out our roles as women in front of men, because there is supposed to be a balance there. He showed women that they can serve Him, too. it represents physical and spiritual marriage (we are all the bride of Christ). Caring for children and bringing them up, serving and taking care of those in need because we love them, - having been given the gentleness and humility that it takes to do these things -,and a greater sense of softness and the emotional capability/intelligence to encourage others. We are more able to take the time to slow down and be more thoughtful of the needs of others! So, yeah, Christianity is very attractive to women because Jesus views men and women as equals and wanted us women to know that. He loves His sisters, too!
People keep on being shocked christianity is attractive to women, like that hasn't been the case since Jesus was walking the earth and Mary was sitting at his feet, and Martha was planning a dinner party for Him.

Proverbs Daily Reflection – February 7, 2025
Douglass was born into slavery in 1818. He escaped to freedom in 1838 and became one of the most powerful voices in the abolitionist movement. While he fiercely condemned the hypocrisy of slaveholding "Christianity," he openly professed faith in the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. #josephmekaelpageministries
📖 Proverbs 7:3 (KJV) “Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.” Frederick Douglass was not only an abolitionist, writer, and orator but also a man of deep Christian faith. His belief in God’s righteousness, justice, and deliverance played a major role in shaping his views on slavery and freedom. Frederick Douglass and His Faith in Christ Douglass was born into…

I guess God is also in the business of restoring my digestive issues because i have been able to eat a lot more than usual lately!! Now some days i can still only eat once a day, but i have been eating a lot more snacks and sometimes two meals a day! And i have been taking less indigestion pills after meals! Food and eating has been very traumatic for me because i never know what to eat since my stomach is so sensitive and i have cut out a lot of foods while trying to figure out what i can eat. I’m going to get some blood work soon and then get my endoscopy done to see why i’ve been having all of these mysterious health issues since 2016. It’s been kind of strange seeing God work in other ways of my life but not noticing my health improving as much. My health issues are the biggest burden for me but i know He is not far from ever healing me. I actually think greater healing is going to come one day and that gives me hope because i know He sees our pain and hears our cries and prayers and it hurts Him even more than it hurts us. He uses our darkest moments and most painful struggles and when the time is right; restores them to something far greater. He has done this for me in many areas, so i know He’s not done yet. His grace is never-ending. There is so much freedom in Christ.

1 Peter 2:23-25 (NLT). “He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly. He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.”
“Free From Guilt” By In Touch Ministries:
“Since Jesus died on the cross for our sins, we can pursue God's will without the weight of guilt or shame.”
“Guilt can be defined as anxiety in one’s spirit over a deliberate, willful sin. We can trace this emotion all the way back to the garden of Eden. After Adam and Eve tasted the forbidden fruit, they felt ashamed of their nakedness and hid themselves (Genesis 3:10).
In ancient Israel, people would “pay” for their wrong by sacrificing an animal’s life. Today we no longer need such a brutal way to release our guilt; God has provided a better solution. He sent His Son Jesus to make a way for us to be redeemed and brought into a right relationship with Him. Our Savior made atonement for us with His precious blood. And—praise God!—Jesus rose to life again, conquering death and sin.
The truth is, every one of us has sinned and was separated from God (Romans 3:23). However, we can be liberated from death and guilt by accepting Jesus’ free gift and committing our life to Him. Of course, in our imperfect human state, we won’t be perfectly sinless. But our loving heavenly Father will continue to forgive His children (Ephesians 1:7).
Jesus’ sacrifice gives us freedom from shame and death—plus the promise of eternity with God. Though we are promised forgiveness, our gratitude and love for our Savior should spur us on to repentance, obedience, and service to the Lord.”

Right Focus: Preparing for a new week ahead holding onto Paul's Final Exhortations to Philippi.
As I get today started the importance of focus is key. When we keep our eyes on Jesus we can find peace even in the midst of the storms and waves but if we start to focus on the storms and the waves we get distracted and can become fearful or even anxious. Consider Paul with the faith to step out of the boat and walk on water and how when he lost focus on Jesus and started to focus on the waves…

RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD - 4 (of 8)
Why was Jesus manifested in the earth?
Answer: To create a new covenant that would allow and encourage Believers to establish God’s Kingdom throughout the earth by destroying the works of the devil. Destroying the works of the devil would include anything that would impede the advancing of God’s Kingdom.
"For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. All who are not deaf to the truth listen to My voice." - John 18:37
"The one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil." - 1 John 3:8
"He was given over to die because of our sins, and was raised to life to put us right with God." - Romans 4:25
".....He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself." - Hebrews 9:26
Has the cross of Calvary delivered me from the guilt of sin?
Answer: God made Jesus sin. Sin was not only reckoned to Him, but His spirit actually became sin. Jesus came as us to be our substitute in His sacrifice.
"God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." - 2 Corinthians 5:19,21
"Because by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy." - Hebrews 10:14
"If we walk in the light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin." - 1 John 1:7
How are Satan and his works put under our feet as the body of Christ?
Answer: Through “binding and loosing” anything that does not match up with Heaven, the believer exercises their God given dominion and takes authority over satan and his works.
"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death." - Revelation 12:11
"When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him." - Colossians 2:15
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” – Matthew 16:19
Am I allowing the Holy Spirit to build a righteousness consciousness through meditation and affirmation of the word concerning my right standing with God?
"By this we know we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." - 1 John 4:13
"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in me. - John 15:4
How will a righteousness consciousness affect my prayer life?
Answer: We pray from the position of our God-given authority and that all our sins have been forgiven (past, present, and future) so there is nothing hindering us from advancing God’s Kingdom NOW.
"Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you." - Mark: 11:23,24
"Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it." - John 14;13;14
INTO ACTION:
Write Out, Affirm and meditate on the indicated scriptures 4 times daily until the renewing of your mind is made real to your spirit.
AFFIRMATIONS:
I know my prayers are heard by God because I believe in Christ Jesus His Son who gives me eternal life. (1 John 5:13)
I receive through faith because when I ask in prayer I believe that I have received what I have asked for. (Mark 11:24)
I transform my mind through affirming, meditating, and visualizing God's word. (Romans 12:2 & John 8:31,32)

Freedom comes in Jesus Christ
He inhabits the praises of His bride.
He came to give us abundant life
Seek knowledge, in His Word abide.
Where the Spirit of God is, there we are free
Who the Son sets free, is free indeed.
Jesus Christ, our Creator and King
He's the solid foundation of our country.
One nation under God, indivisiblity
With justice and freedom for all of thee.
With Him we have endless possibilities
In America, the sweet land of liberty.
Love, Amy

3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
John 10:10
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
2 Corinthians 3:17
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
John 8:36
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Matthew 19:26
