How is that called? idk 🥸 I was actually going to look for references, cool poses and fully color, but I did the first sketch for the Potters and immediately knew I did not want to make myself go trhougt that lmao I'm way too lazy, so we have this kinda boring, wonky anatomy and only base colors thingy with my headcanons for their heights (as always I'm indecisive so this could change by the next time I draw them who knows.)

If the fashion is ugley it's bc I can only do so much with my own shit taste ok 😔 also, Louis has to wear like 81729292 layers of clothing when it's cold bc of my headcanon of him having health issues (they love him so they overprotect him) so yeah I hope the outfits look good enough ig 😭😭 These are the heights they stop growing at btw, if that wasn't clear lol.

Edward "Teddy" Remus Lupin ((24) at main time of fic)-

-Born April 23rd, 1998

-Molly and Arthur have always considered him their first grandkid

-From ages 11 to 16 he experimented with all kinds of hair colors, never being able to settle on just one

-When he's 17 he finally settles on his classic blue hair and rocks that till he's about 21, when he goes to plain brown hair and his natural features. A little self-discovery later and he's back at his classic blue

-Despite inheriting the metamorphagus trait, he's also got several wolf qualities

-He can tell you if the milk is expired when you open the fridge by the scent, he can tell who's entering the house from upstairs by the way he hears them walking, and when he doesn't have his wand he'll probably start biting and scratching as an attack, and he does some pretty good damage

-He has a long term girlfriend named Izzy (I'm not a tedoire fan, they're cousins in this) and no one's quite sure how long they've been dating because no one knows when they went from being best friends to dating, you can't tell

-In school he had two other best friends besides Izzy, Todd and Connor. Izzy and Todd are in Gryffindor (they're also cousins) and Teddy and Connor are Hufflepuffs

-There was an attack when he was 14 (will be explained in the fic) and he didn't have his wand, so he had no choice but to go a little feral on them and he ended up killing one of them like that

-He considers James, Al, and Lily his siblings.

-He played quidditch for most of his school years, seeker, and wore the number 4

-When he starts to get older, his family and friends start to call him just Ted more. Izzy is the only one who still always calls him Teddy

-He can play the guitar

-He's never been very muscular or lean, but he's like 6'4

Victoire Gabrielle Weasley (22)- Bill and Fleur's daughter

-Born May 2nd, 2000

-She was always very focused on being pretty and proper as a child, but in her late teen years she stopped caring so much

-Fleur wanted her to attend Beaxbatons when she started school, but she transferred to Hogwarts for her fourth year and was sorted into Ravenclaw

-She was made prefect her fifth year and head girl her seventh year

-She loved living near the beach and would often read books in the sand

-She loves cooking and she's good at it, her idea of a simple meal is equivalent to a gourmet meal

-In her fifth year she starts to develop a crush on Teddy's friend Todd, a seventh year at the time. She always begs her cousin to get him to talk to her

-Her and Todd start dating in her seventh year. When things start getting bad with the war again, they decide to get married with their family while they still can.

Molly Sienna Weasley II (22)- Percy and Audrey's daughter

-Born August 5th, 2000

-She was very close to her grandmother as a child and they liked to talk about flowers with each other

-Christmas is her absolute favorite time of year and she always makes everyone go all out for it

-She was sorted into Gryffindor, but she has always preferred green more then red

-She played quidditch her 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years, but quit to focus on school

-She loves being at the burrow and she would sit around in the nearby fields during the summers off listen to music

-She has a "best friend" (they're in love with each other but don't know it) named Lilah. They've been friends since they met on the train before their first year.

-Lilah helped her cut her bangs when she was 17 and she's had then ever since

-She's very close with Victoire because of closer in age they are. They bond over their shared love of solitude time

Dominique Apolline Weasley (20)- second daughter of Bill and Fleur

-Born February 14th, 2002

-She's always been very tall, reaching 5'8 by them time she was 13

-Everyone almost exclusively calls her Dom

-She only attended Beaxbatons for one year before going to Hogwarts with Victoire

-She was pleasantly surprised when she was sorted into Gryffindor, expecting to go the same path as her sister

-She only picked up quidditch after Molly quit, taking her number, 5

-Teddy taught her how to play the guitar when she was 15

-She likes to speak French more than English

-She came out as Bi when she was 16 and Bill bought a shirt that said ally dad

-She got closer with Vic and Molly in her late teens and they are inseparable now

-People always ask if her and Freddie are twins and are surprised when she tells them that she's two years older

-They are also surprised when they're told they still have the same birthday

-She's never been close with any of her cousins and really only hangs out with Freddie

-Her dad is the only one who calls her Roxy

-She's never been interested in any romance and plans on never getting married

-She was shocked when Dom asked her to be her maid of honor, but she took the job incredibly seriously and broke down crying during the ceremony

-Everyone thinks it is absolutely hilarious that Roxanne and Freddie are born on the same day

-So it shouldn't have been a surprise too anyone when they basically acted like they were twins

-Since their family had already had a Fred, he decided to exclusively go by Freddie

-The third Weasley grandchild to go to Gryffindor

-He was pretty quiet in school, but would get in trouble sometimes because he hung out with Lorcan, Lysander, and James

-He also started working at Wizard Wheezes and hopes to co-own it with Roxanne

-He was the first grandchild to insist on joining the order when it was reformed

-Proudly fights whenever he can

-Born June 4th, 2004

-Harry and Ginny believe they set themselves up for failure by naming him James Sirius because he definitely takes after his namesakes

-Also sorted into Gryffindor at the surprise of nobody

-He's wanted to become a professional quidditch player since he can remember attending his mother's matches, so he makes his whole life about quidditch

-Izzy is the Gryffindor quidditch captain his first year and he gets a chaser position the same year

-There hasn't been more quidditch drive since Oliver Wood

-He fell in love with a girl named Alice when he was 15 and only got her to go out with him once they graduated

-THE ADHD child

-He's best friends with Lorcan and Lysander Scamander, Hufflepuffs, who are in his year

-He loves his siblings so much and is protective of all of them

-Everyone was expecting her to be in Gryffindor like the majority of her older cousins, but were so proud when she was placed on Hufflepuff

-She's always loved any kind of art, but she favorites her pastel crayons.

-She also has a camera and takes pictures of anything and everything

-She's very loudly and openly gay, she came out when she was 12

-George made fun of Percy when she came out, telling him he was too stuck up for his gay daughter. He went to Bill after that to figure out where he could get an ally dad shirt

-She gets so frustrated about Molly and Lilah. She's told Molly that she's gay so many times, but Molly always just laughs it off

-She only picked up quidditch in her seventh year and she took over Teddy's number 4

-Even though Molly's onliviousness annoys her, she is very close with her. They both love flowers and they taught themselves to embroider so they can put flowers on everything

Albus "Al" Severus Potter (16)- Harry and Ginny's second son

-Born August 27th, 2006

-He was always incredibly shy and often just hid behind his mother

-That made it a shock when he was sorted into Slytherin, everyone expected Hufflepuff

-The day after he was sorted, he already had a letter from Roxanne, telling him that she knew it was hard to be one of the only Slytherins in the family, but that she was there for him. That made being in Slytherin a lot easier for him.

-He was always best friends with Rose, but when they got to Hogwarts they let Thomas Lovegood and Frank Longbottom II, Ravenclaws, into their friendgroup (I'll probably do stuff for these characters too since they're pretty important)

-He loves music and has a huge record collection with almost any artist you can think of

-When the war started getting bad in his fifth year, he started back up the D.A., it was less about teaching and more about fighting now though

-He loves Teddy, James, and Lily so much and he considers them some of his closest friends

-He didn't wear glasses for most of his life, but the summer after his sixth year, Ginny started noticing that he was running into things, so she took him to an eye doctor and he went into his seventh year with glasses

-He loves to learn knew spells and he can almost always be seen with a spellbook in his hands

-He's a bit of a coward, so any time there's some sort of fight his first response is to run

-He's not too worried about finding love, sure it'll happen on its own one day. He likes to help his cousins and friends in their relationships though

-He actually hates quidditch, but he'd never tell anyone of his family that, knowing how much they love it

Rose Billie Granger-Weasley (16)- Ron and Hermione's daughter

-Born October 26th, 2006

-She looks so much like her mother, but she definitely takes after her father

-She loves sweets and is always first in line at Honeydukes when there's a new thing to try

-Victoire always makes her be the taste tester on everything she makes, and Rose has a very refined pallette because of it

-Her socks are constantly mismatched, other than that she's very fashionable

-Her dad taught her how to play wizards chess when she was really little and she joined the club at school the first week she was there

-She was super mad that Louis was captain for as long as he was though

-She's in Gryffindor, in true Weasley fashion

-She's never considered herself smart, just enough to get by. She's very thankful that Hugo and Al are though.

-Al is her best friend in the world and she was the first to join the D.A. after he started it up again

-She takes care of Hugo ferociously and it's pretty hard for her to accept that he's growing up now

-Born September 15th, 2007

-He's always had severe baby face, looking much younger than he is

-He's been super attached to Crookshanks since the moment he was born

-He inherited his mother's smarts and started reading by the time he was 4

-Louis insisted that he would be in Ravenclaw and Dom made fun of him when Hugo was put on Gryffindor

-He didn't start playing quidditch until his second year, when James needed him to play keeper for him. They learned that he was extremely talented and they're currently training him to go professional.

when people write headcanons for hp’s next generation i think they usually forget these are post war children and they can be so much more interesting. their parents, family and everyone around them have all been to war and have lost too much. that’s not to say that they can’t be happy or won’t ever have fun, but this is the kind of thing that leaves scars and trauma. i don’t think it would be the case in canon because jkr is a bad writer but thinking about characterization these kids don’t always have a good time at home, their years have too many days dedicated to mourn. they didn’t lost anyone themselves, but somehow grief has been around ever since they were born. they probably struggle to get through holidays and see hogwarts as a way to escape this reality because family can be a lot even when they love each other. maybe fred the second doesn’t prank around because his father taught him or it’s on his blood. he does pranks because he thinks his father’s actually a bit strict and it’s not having enough fun. maybe he doesn’t get why his father of all people would work on the funniest place in the world. he feels like it’s his job to make the house happier and to make everyone smile because realistically talking, george had a rough time without fred i and it changed him. he probably put too much expectations on his first child, named after the person he lost. he’d probably expect fred to be exactly like his brother and got frustrated when he wasn’t and what child wants to disappoint their parent.

Something like this is how I imagine them look like, but there is so little information that almost everything is just pure headcanon of mine tbh

I am an indecisive person when it comes to drawing characters from books, even worse when they don't even have a description like these fools, so who knows maybe I will change things in the future, but for now I like these enough to post them (even if I drew this like a month ago ngl)

I think James Sirius also needs glasses he just doesn't wear them much bc he says they ruin his style and they're ugly and that makes Albus kinda mad bc James chose the stupid frame himself lol

And I find it funny to think that it's almost impossible to beat the ginger hair genes so only Victoire and Albus got to fully scape them

I love Teddy bc I can change him everytime I draw him and it's ok bc he can literally change his appearance in a second 🥰 so no headaches

people think fred and james are the new pranksters because of their namesakes but dont let this fool you. roxanne claims title over this

no for real she is a menace and she is more fred weasley than her brother. which sometimes pisses him off but you can rarely stay mad at her even if she is a shit.

personality wise hes a mix between his parents. hes a lot like ron in the sense that hes made of dry humour and loyalty to his friends, but like hermione in that he gets exasperated easily and also possesses undying loyalty. now that i think about it, hugo is just extremely loyal

definition of little freak. you know how as the line of cousins gets younger and younger and the youngest of them all is always just a weirdo? yeah, hugo is the youngest.

has a butt indentation on his bed from sitting on it and playing roblox all day. wont move from bed until he gets banned on the servers and is forced to touch grass

but when he touches grass he is all for the grass. rose has his ass on life360 and suddenly hes taken a train up to bumfuck nowhere to go on a spontaneous nature hike. suddenly he’s signed up to a chess club and queen gambits his way to the top spot. suddenly hes in a random protest and he doesnt even know what hes there for he just likes the energy

confirmed he was aroace when he was playing truth or dare with his gryffindor buddies (because hugo is definitely a gryffindor) late at night and got dared to french kiss some guy. after he had to flee the scene and brush his teeth out to get that gross taste away, and yeah, he had his suspicions beforehand but this basically confirmed it. and every time he recalls the feeling of kissing someone like That he gets this thousand yard stare on him… one would think hes having war flashbacks….

despite not wanting to get married like That, he wants to be a dad when hes older. He has a list of baby names on his notes app (or wizard equivalent), but they’re all shitty things you would name an oc or a sim, not a real person. shit like “ebony” or “crystal” or “axel.” he showed his list to lily luna once and she laughed and called them stripper names so he got mad and kept it very secretive from then on.

is a vegan. it started as a joint pack with hermione (ron and rose said “fuck no”) but hermione caved after six months because she cant stay away from coffee. hugo persisted though

thinks about moving out one day and having his own family and thinks about rose moving out and having her own family and how that family will be her primary family and he will be secondary family and how they will have to leave their parents one day— he instantly breaks down into tears. hes just a baby bird guyz plz!!!

does not have any parent hes closer to. ron spoils him more but also scolds him more. hermione rewards him less but lets him get away with more. it balances out.

very close with lily luna so when rose and albus had their falling out they just gossiped about it the entire time. lily would tell him how albus cried for three hours straight during lunch and hugo would tell her how rose started to fixate on their shower and started deep cleaning it the muggle way at four in the morning like she was possessed

I'm ill again because I have the immune system of a sickly victorian child. Therefore I must project onto the harry potter next gen kids

What i think (some) of the next gen kids are like when they're sick:

Scorpius: I've already done a whole post on this but I have no idea how to link posts despite being on this site for years. the short version is, he was a sick child and constantly in and out of hospital so now he cannot gauge when he's actually really sick and needs to just rest, so albus has to forcibly keep him in the dorm or hospital wing otherwise he will still try and go to class even if actively dying

Albus: he's lowkey so dramatic. if he has a small cold you WILL be hearing about it, BUT he's super subtle. he will casually tie it into conversation to make you feel sorry for him and just keep bringing it up until youre like aw no, im so sorry man. he doesnt try with rose anymore, because she will just mock him, she knows what hes doing. he's most obvious about it to Scorpius, he'll start pouting and be like I feel sick 🥺🥺 and Scorpius is immediately like oh poor baby 🥺🥺/gen and does in fact baby him until he feels better

Rose: does not get sick and its infuriating. when there's some kind of bug going around the school, you can guarantee this girl will not get it. she thinks everyone is just being dramatic and trying to get out of class. don't come to her for sympathy unless you actually look like you're on deaths door. the most sympathy surprisingly goes to Scorpius because she has seen this idiot try to attend class whilst not being able to function properly and be escorted out

Hugo: he doesnt get sick often, like a slightly below average getting sick, but my version of hugo is so unbothered by everything, he would end up in hospital or whatever but wont tell anyone, not on purpose, he just never goes out of his way to mention anything until it specifically comes up in conversation. Hes the random kid that pops up, says he has a relevant anecdote, tells you the wildest story youve ever heard so casually, youre left like???? what the fuck?? and how has that never come up before????, then he just dissapears again

James: gets so mopey, he gets so restless and hates having to sit and wait to get better. he'll enjoy not having to go to class for like one day but when you tell him he can't go anywhere or play quidditch or anything he's immediately over it like, 😟😟 wdym??? wdym I have to just lie here until I'm better??? lemme out!!!! LEMME OUT!!!!

Lily: lowkey whiny. she's not usually super whiny but she acts like a little kid when she's sick and will constantly frown and pout and cross her arms and kick her legs. collateral of being the youngest sibling lmao. she wants people to do everything for her and will shout for people to come get the TV remote or something that's only like 2 feet away from her and just shake her arm at it until you pass it. Ginny and Harry do it for her, her brothers do not lmao

Victorie: doesn't usually get sick-sick often, but I headcanon her as being a general athlete, she likes to do triathlons in her spare time, and if she gets injured she literally has to not be able to walk before she stops. she will just keep going. have you seen female footballers? the way they will be wacked in the head and start bleeding everywhere but then be like meh I can keep going. so her.

Louis: cannot stand the wanting to throw up kind of sick. he can deal with anything else, he has a pretty good immune system, he can pretty much carry on with normal stuff, and you won't even realise he's sick, but the second he feels stomach sickness, he is pale as a ghost and out for business. lowkey has emetaphobia, he will just sit so still until he doesn't feel like that anymore trying to make it go away by just 🧍🏻‍♂️if I don't move it won't know I'm here, yk lmao. hates throwing up so fucking bad

Roxanne: takes the sickness as some kind of personal test. is dramatic in the sense that she will go full warrior mode and be like 😈 i will survive 😈 I will not be beaten by these pitiful germs 😈 and will absolutely just rock her way through it, she talks like she's on some kind of quest, and that this is some kind of evaluation of her perseverance

Fred: just lies there. will not move until he's better. doesn't get really dramatic or complain but god forbid you try and make him do something, he'll start going off about how normalised it is for people to push themselves when sick because society wants people to work themselves to death, and doesn't actually care about anyone's health, and everyone just gets so sick of hearing him, they leave him alone

Karl Jenkins: will purposefully cough on people to get them sick too "as a joke"
