I end up talking about calligraphy a reasonable amount on here and lately it's been bugging me that I haven't shared my work before. I also practice! To absolutely nobody's surprise, I have lately been practicing with Hannibal quotes.

How did they get together and how do they resolve their arguments (for Aoife and Hades! A curveball!)
Bruh, half of Rowan and Urianger's conversations are late night talks. They both tend to be night owls in the first place. That being said, if they don't remember to actually retire at some point (and if they don't stop each other) then they end up falling asleep in their chairs doing the good ol' fashioned "I'm just resting my eyes" bit.
Ohhhhh Minthe. Minthe needs her space. I think the actual distressing part about fights for Minthe is that she learns something about the other person that doesn't quite match her perspective. She's so detail oriented, how could she be wrong about her partner? (By losing the forest for the trees!) Eventually Minthe will settle down and make an offering, usually in an effort to fix the problem. I think Minthe created a strain of coffee for Ariadne to give her a better caffeine in take because Minthe thought she was too tired.
Thanks for the ask!

"How To Be Alone" by John-Allison Weiss (Cover)
Today is the 10-Year anniversary of ‘Say What You Mean’! This record by John-Allison Weiss was so foundational to my musical upbringing. It was my gateway album into Johnny’s music and is easily one of my top / favorite records of all time. There’s not a bad song on it. Hope you enjoy this cover of one of my favorite songs from the record. Do you have an artist whom you consider to be…

The Eternal Foundation: Building Life on God
Sometimes it’s frustrating to read back on old pieces, blog posts, journal entries, whatever. I noticed I’ve been asking the same questions for the last 8 years. Questions like: What will become of my life? and who will I become? What will I do? Where will I go? And all I hear when I look back on these questions is aimlessness. Is that how I intend on spending the rest of my life? Roaming…

For Gen-Z and Millennials, books featuring teenagers at the forefront of their rebellions have been a centerpiece of our media consumption since elementary school. From the Victor of the 74th Hunger Games to the Divergent who shattered the odds to the children of fairy tales who travelled between worlds in order to fight back, these have been our heroes, our dreams, our guidelines for what a world worth living in should become someday.
I want to ask anyone who cares to share,
A) What was your favorite book/series that featured a rebellion or a revolution against a hateful system/villain? Can be YA, Children’s, fantasy, dystopia, SciFi, or anything you feel qualifies.
B) why was that story memorable or foundational to you? If it impacted your understanding of media, what you choose to consume, how much you trust news stations and public speakers, how you rally, if that affected your learning of how our world works?
C) if there is one takeaway you think if worth the world knowing from that book/series, what would it be?
