Since RTD wants to throw an even bigger wrench into DW season/series naming conventions, I have decided on a perfect solution that encompasses everything and addresses all questions
Each Doctor's seasons are referred to relative to their Doctor as such: Doctor.Season
For example, 1.1 refers to Hartnell's first season, 9.1 to Eccleston's first season, 13.1 to Whittaker's
Stories with unique names within those seasons are referred to in airing order: Doctor.Season.Story
Ex: 1.1.1 is the entirety of The Unearthly Child, 9.1.1 is Rose, 10.3.8 and 10.3.9 refer to Silence In The Library and Forest Of The Dead respectively
Episodes of specific stories which do NOT have unique names are referred to by order within that story: Doctor.Season.Story.Episode
Ex: 1.1.1.1 is The Unearthly Child part 1, 6.2.1.3 is The Mysterious Planet part 3, 13.2.1.2 is Spyfall part 2
Specials are referred to by two possible notations. Option one: Doctor.S(for special).Number of special by airing order. Option two: Doctor.Season.S.Number of special by airing order
Ex: 13.S.1 would be Resolution, 13.2.S.1 would be Revolution
These rules should fix all nomenclature issues regarding Doctor Who. Please begin applying them at your earliest convenience. Any questions (there should be none) can be directed to the collective office of every showrunner. Thank you.

Happy 91st Birthday, Jeremy. You are sorely missed.
From JEREMY BRETT PLAYING A PART by Maureen Whittaker. Quotes by Jeremy Brett.
"It all started for me on 3rd November 1933. I began life with everything a child could wish for. We had a huge, glorious, country house on the outskirts of Berkswell, near Coventry, with tennis courts, squash courts, horses and dogs and a wonderful, terraced garden created by my artistic mother, Elizabeth. The family was spoiled rotten, for we had three live-in staff, plus four other people who came in to help. We always seemed to be entertaining a houseful of fascinating people; the door was always open.”
The Grange, where Peter William Jeremy, was born, is a beautiful house with sweet smelling flowering wisteria on the front elevation and nestled in a magical vista of gardens, landscaped by Elizabeth, known as “Bunny”, who was the centre of this loving family.
The Huggins family was a significant part of the delightful Berkswell village in Warwickshire. William and Elizabeth had decided to move to the rambling, attractive Berkswell Grange in 1929 to accommodate a growing family. The three boys, John, Michael and Patrick, needed somewhere to play and to ride, so a large, impressive house was chosen in nearby Truggist Lane. The house featured seventeenth century timber framing, and nineteenth century additions, including a tiled roof.
Due to its grandeur and welcoming hostess, the Grange was the centre of village events, of Christmas parties, of afternoon teas and of music and entertainment.
William and Elizabeth were both keen archers, so it is no surprise that Jeremy took this seriously and belonged to the Woodmen of Arden, a notable club for the sport. “The whole family were taxophilites. Actually, my mother was a brilliant archer, won many awards. She had a special lightweight bow, and when I was growing up, I used her hand-me-downs. Looking back, I must have been about four or five when my father gave me my first lesson. The outfit is really glamorous – Lincoln green cut-away tailcoat, buff waistcoat with gold buttons, shite slacks, shite shoes and a New Zealand style hat that turns up at the side…”
Archery Week was hosted by the Huggins family at the beginning of August each year and to accompany the competitions on the extensive grounds at the Grange, they featured special balls for about 30 or 40 people for dinner, followed by dancing in the ballroom. “The dancing finished so late that breakfast was often served to the guests before they left for home the following day.”
“Naturally, I’d been practising like mad for the occasion. Firing at 100 yards I nervously let the arrow go. It wobbled in the air and my astonishment landed smack in the middle of the target. I was made Master Forester on my first day – a title which carries with it sitting at the High Table. Socially, archery can be pretty heaving going. That day the lunch ran to 12 toasts and I remember staggering out afterwards full of venison and summer pudding, cheeks pink from the port and nose still twitching from my first pinch of snuff…”
He told one interviewer that he had “a marvellous youth with every kind of animal under the sun, from ferrets to rabbits to mice to horses, to monkeys even. It was like a paradise, and a gorgeous home.”
Jeremy had a very special relationship with all animals. He welcomed dogs as earnestly as he welcomed his friends and often on his knees to greet them, face to face. His own dog, Mr. Binks, was a Jack Russell terrier that he affectionately called his “hound of heaven”.
Elizabeth’s reputation was always one of kindness to others, especially towards the homeless in the community. Gypsies and vagrants were frequent visitors expecting to be fed, have a wash or receive fresh clothing, and Williams shirts or trousers, could often be seen on these visitors leaving the Grange. Mrs. Huggins would go out and find Gypsies, taking them back to the Grange – the Colonel would come home from work to find a “Gypsy encampment with great cauldron in the walled courtyard, and clothes being dried in the saddle-room.”
During the Coventry bombing on 14th November 1940, in which more than four thousand homes were destroyed, including the 14th century cathedral, Jeremy’s mother, alerted by the sirens, the noise of exploding bombs and the sight of leaping flames across the open countryside, left her family to drive to the nearby town to what she could to help those who were caught up in the devastation. “The whole city was ringed with leaping flames, bathed in brilliant moonlight and a few searchlights were sweeping the smoke-filled sky.” Consequently, one family was taken into the Grange and 42 members of the extended family lived there until alternative accommodations could be found. There was no question in her mind about the decision; it was simply her first and characteristic response to suffering. “She was a dazzling woman, half Irish and fully Quaker, and ran our home, a large country house deep in the Black Country outside Coventry, in a sort of Flower Power way, always filling it with people that she’d picked up. I remember her bringing home a whole family called Weston during the war, and all of them stayed in our stables.”
Elizabeth Huggins had an enormous effect on the growing Jeremy and some would say that he was very like her in his response to others. “My mother had this extraordinary way of making us flower, and she had open doors and windows in her soul – that’s the only way I can put it. Everybody came to my mother. She was like a light of great warmth.”
What an amazing beginning to a brilliant gentleman.
This is just the very beginning of JEREMY BRETT PLAYING A PART by Maureen Whittaker.

Chisholm is a city located in the heart of Minnesota’s Iron Range that is deeply intertwined with the region’s mining legacy. It’s nestled amidst forests and lakes, and quickly grew over the course of the 19th century alongside the burgeoning iron ore industry.
The city of Chisholm was home to Kaelin Whittaker and her boyfriend, Christopher Warner. The couple had been married before, and shortly after they began dating, they moved in together towards the end of 1996.
Then on the 21st of January, 1998, they welcomed their daughter, LeeAnna Warner, into the world. She was affectionally nicknamed “Beaner” and was a familiar face in the neighbourhood, where she made friends with all of the children. She was known to be outgoing, friendly, and brave. Her parents said that had survival instincts that were quite advanced for her age.
On a typical Saturday morning on June 14, 2003, the family had just returned from scouring the Side Lake Rummage Sale when five-year-old LeeAnna asked if she could go over to her friend’s house just around the corner to play. Her parents told her that she could go, but with the stipulation that she be back home in time for dinner at 5PM.
In the late afternoon, LeeAnna left her home alone barefoot, and walked over to her friend’s home. It was a walk LeeAnna had made numerous times before, but when she arrived this time, nobody was home. One of the neighbour’s saw LeeAnna at the front doorstep, and then saw her turn around and head back in the direction of her own home.
5PM came and went but LeeAnna still hadn’t returned home. Kaelin asked LeeAnna’s half-sister, Karlee, to go and collect her from her friend’s home, assuming she had lost track of time. However, when Karlee arrived, she found that neither LeeAnna nor her friend were there. Karlee widened her search to the neighbourhood but found no trace of her younger sister.
After she returned home without LeeAnna, Kaelin and Christopher rallied neighbours to join their search for their daughter, yet she was nowhere to be found....

we all miss legendary Poster ghostbongweedofthesamurai but it has come to my attention that many people are not aware that his username was a play on the movie Ghost Dog: the Way of the Samurai, which is a 1999 Jim Jarmusch urban samurai/mafia film starring Forest Whittaker (this is a real movie and not a Goncharov), and also that I am the one that gave him that username because i thought it was funny.

What made you choose the tag for each of your OCS? What specifically about that lyric made you feel like making it their tag?
Thank you for the neat question! 😊 Many of the tags are honestly at-risk of being changed, but all still hold messages, so I don't mind sharing. :)
'long way down to the bottom of the river' (sally)
Sally's tag is from 'Bottom Of The River' by Delta Rae. The tag itself is pretty self-explanatory with the river being a significant part of her storyline. I also associate her heavily with a lot of blues music, for some reason.
'losing grip of what I thought I knew' (martha)
Martha's tag is from 'Who Am I' by Besomorph. I chose the line to allude to Martha's ongoing identity crisis, as well as her need for certainty being turned on its head. I associate the song with Martha's relationship with both her mother and 'God'.
'are these vultures overhead?' (sylvester)
Sylvester's tag song is one of my favourites. It is 'Circle Nine' by Galt Aureus. The song itself symbolizes Sylvester's eventual fate and rescue. The tag itself references vultures (being the symbol of his mother's gang.) To me, this gives the image of Sylvester hallucinating his family and friends all around him.
'baby lion lost his teeth' (john-ira)
John-Ira's tag song is from Your Bones by Of Monsters and Men. The song, to me, gives thoughts of John-Ira trying to keep his loved ones together in the thick of it all. The tag itself, to me, symbolizes his goodness being taken advantage of.
'try a little topsy-turvy' (prudence)
Prudence's current tag is pretty new. It's from 'Upside Down' by Paloma Faith. I love this song for her, as it brings to mind Prudence defending her own unseriousness and identity, the tag itself being a lyric that felt especially playful.
'delicate in every way but one' (annie)
Annie's tag is one of the few I'd like to change eventually, but it's still relevant. It's from Lorde's song Glory And Gore, which I imagine as her justifying the company she keeps. The tag itself is as simple as 'I am not all that I seem'
'I belong to here' (rosfridur)
Rosfridur's tag is from Play Dead by Björk. I love the song for her for its otherworldly feel (the accent doesn't hurt either) and I associate the song (particularly the lyric in the tag) with her accepting and almost being resigned to her relationship with the red.
'i've taken a week to feel free' (bill)
Bill's tag I desperately want to change, but haven't come up with anything, yet. His tag is from Empty by Letdown. and is meant to represent how quickly he altered his entire life out of desperation. I still like the song for him, but I'd like something harder-hitting in the future.
'melodies and trees hang by my side' (amos)
Amos' tag is from 'No Place In Mind' by Justin Nozuka (an insanely fitting song for him.) The tag symbolizes his finding purpose and almost companionship in music and travel, and how he doesn't seem to need much else.
'every little hour that I spend' (orie)
Orie's tag is, funny enough, 'Make It Work' from the movie 'Jingle Jangle.' Forest Whittaker's character in the movie reminded me a lot of Orie and so I thought I'd nab one of his lyrics from the film to reflect that.
'when does the reason become the blame?' (simeon)
Simeon's tag comes from 'Just A Man' by Jorge Rivera-Herrans. The song was suggested to me and I almost threw up, haha. The tag was only really chosen because it was a short enough line, but the whole thing is very on-par with his storyline. Gets me emotional thinking about how Simeon was just a teenage boy who'd lost his remaining family when the Fossers began-- and how all he'd wanted was a safe place to build a new family, but had to be the one to create that place through ugly means.
'cause she's just like the weather' (flossie)
Flossie's tag could also do with a change. The song is 'Landscape' by Florence + The Machine, and I chose the tag because I loved the song for her, but couldn't find a short enough lyric that really stuck. The following lyric is 'can't hold her together,' which makes the whole thing make more sense. The whole song is, to me, symbolic of her emotional frailty.

okay wait which ~unpopular~ doctor who episode would you fight to the death defending
based on the lowest imdb ratings (using this list), but i made the call to exclude whittaker episodes bc they've taken up so many of the lowest spots which i think is bullshit and also kind of boring (and i dont want to bog down the options with every chapter of flux lmao). if one of hers is your pick though please explain in the tags!

oh shoot y’all here goes
a sneak peek of my next work, you won’t be surprised what it is
“Bentley. Bentley, c’mon dude. Breathe. We gotta go,”
Bentley was trying to breathe, but Asten was dragging him with one hand into the endless forest beyond, and dragging Nico with the other, who was crying hysterically, and Bentley was sure they were going to die. His breaths were coming out as nothing more than painful wheezes and his heart felt like it was going to rip his chest open. And to top it all off, he was in the middle of a forest on the outskirts of Gotham, and not a single Wayne knew about it. The only sounds were the crunching of leaves and the clinking of the crowbar against other tools in Asten’s toolbelt. Their bodies would never be found out here.
Asten kept trying to drag them, but it was pointless when they were both crying messes that couldn’t keep up to save their lives.
“He’s freaking coming, you guys. Where are the bikes?” He whispered anxiously, whirling around and trying his best to keep the panic off of his face, for the sake of his younger friends. The crowbar hanging on his belt nearly hit Bentley in the stomach with the speed he pivoted. But Bentley was too focused on trying to get air into his lungs through his wheezy sobs and splutters to see Asten’s hazel eyes flick anxiously between the two of them.
“Jesus…” He muttered, and Bentley felt Asten’s hand land on the side of his head. “Do you have asthma?”
Bentley was pretty sure he didn’t. He’d only heard about asthma when Nico talked about his, but then again, asthma sounded a lot like anxiety attacks. At least the whole not being able to breathe part.
He wasn’t able to respond between the ragged breaths and cries that were forcing their way out of him, so he didn’t.
“Nico, can you-“
“I’m getting it!” The blonde exclaimed through sniffles and sobs of his own. He dug around in the pocket of his brown jacket, and Bentley heard the telltale shake of his inhaler right before the hiss of the medicine being released a couple times.
“Here,”
Bentley saw the quick exchange of the inhaler from hand to hand, and Asten started shaking it, leaning down farther so he could see Bentley’s face. His hand had moved from his head to his shoulder and stayed firmly there.
“You gotta breathe deep when I shove this thing in your mouth, Whittaker. It’ll help you breathe,”
Bentley nodded quickly, and Asten promptly put the inhaler in his mouth and pressed on it. He sucked in about as much air as he could force into his rebelling lungs.
“Perfect, just do it one more time,” Asten stated, moving his hand from Bentley’s shoulder to the back of his neck to keep his head in place. “Nico, you see anyone?”
“No,” He whimpered, his voice obstructed by his near endless crying. Asten pressed on the inhaler again, and Bentley made himself suck in what felt like a gallon of air. (It wasn’t actually that much air at all.) The medicine made him feel kind of woozy for a moment.
Asten kept his hand on Bentley, but stood up and looked around the woods, behind them at the cabin they’d come out of. “We have to go. You think you can run? I will not hesitate to give you the most terrifying piggyback of your life.”
Bentley forced a few more breaths in and out, and while the inhaler wasn’t making his stomach stop cramping or his panic fade, he wasn’t gasping for air so much anymore.
Nico squeaked, a high noise in the back of his throat, and jerked on the sleeve of Asten’s jacket and choked on a few more sobs. “I see him coming.”
Bentley turned back, and the unmistakable ray of light coming from a flashlight not that far behind them made him want to curl up and die.
“Run, go,” Asten ordered, ushering Nico out in front of him. “You got it, Bentley?”
“I got it,” He murmured. Running nearly a mile probably wasn’t ideal for someone still in the midst of an anxiety attack, but he didn’t really have a choice at this point. Asten shoved Nico’s inhaler in Bentley’s pocket, and they started running.
The cracking and crunching of leaves under their feet was nearly deafening in the pitch black, vacant forest, and the dim light from the moon and stars were their only source of vision. Asten stayed in the back, behind Bentley and Nico. Bentley was so focused on not falling and not throwing up and not hyperventilating that he shouted in fear when there was a loud metal CHINK! and Asten screamed.
Like actually screamed. Bentley hadn’t heard a sound like that since he’d been poisoned, and it sent both him and Nico pivoting backwards instantly.
Asten was on his hands and knees in the leaves and dirt, heaving for shaky breaths, and there was a bear trap on his right leg.
There was a bear trap on his right leg.
“Oh my God!” Nico shouted, dropping to his knees next to him. Bentley stood in a mixture of shock and terror before Asten forced out the words:
“Get it off,”
He wasn’t crying, but he was batting tears out of his eyes, which instantly made Bentley’s anxiety triple. He dropped down into the dirt on the other side of him.
Even in the dim light, Bentley could see the blood soaking through the leg of his pants. A lot of blood. And Asten was trembling, so Bentley put a hand on his side to give some kind of support. He had no idea how to remove a bear trap.
“These are freaking illegal-“ Nico was muttering (and still crying, now harder than he had been.) as he examined and tried to figure out any way to get the trap off.
And there were footsteps coming. Bentley glanced up, and he could see the flashlight beam panning through the forest.
“Oh my God, oh my God,” Nico murmured, bringing one hand up to his mouth and sobbing into it.
“Just…” Asten cursed under his breath, leaning into Bentley slightly to turn over and sit on his butt. “Just take it out of the ground, and… and we’ll get it off later.”
“You’re going to drag a bear trap on your foot where? Onto a bus? A taxi maybe?!” Nico squeaked. Asten reached for his toolbelt and pulled out the crowbar, holding it out to Bentley. The footsteps and flashlight beam were getting closer, and they wouldn’t be able to get away in time.
“Bentley,” Asten said seriously, grabbing his shoulder with one hand and attempting to hide a grimace of pain. Bentley looked down at the long, cool piece of metal he put in his hands. Wasn’t getting beaten by a crowbar how Jason died all those years ago?
He didn’t have much time to think about it, because the footsteps were getting closer, and they weren’t going anywhere.
Asten was hit by a wave of trembling, and he squeezed Bentley’s shoulder. “When he gets here, beat the hell out of him.”
AAANNDDD Bentley isn’t out of the woods yet (literally.) there was no way I could abandon this boy. The second installment of his series, A Hundred Ways to Become a Wayne will be coming out soon! Keep ur eyes open 👀
