I want to start writing letters again and I am trying to think of people who wouldn't find that a weird overture, who'd actively enjoy getting something in the post from me, and whether my young cousins would be among their number. I don't get to see them a lot, so I don't want to just have No relationship with them, but I also don't know what to write to them about.

They do both have a lot of hobbies and extracurriculars, so I could ask about what they are doing for fun, I suppose, but I don't want to create the obligation of replying to me if they are too shy. My cousin J is (or was) very into origami and I recently got a book about flexagons, so maybe I could write to him about that.

Day 1

I forgot to post this yesterday T-T

Prompt was fanzine so I made an X-men one, I was planing on drawing more over the collaging but it didn’t show up well and the colors were inspired by various characters anyways and it still looks cool

And I drew the cover on the back in accident

Day 2

Prompt was new folding technique

I made a flexagon which I’ve never done before and just drew random things with pencil

I almost lost my shit because I kept messing up the paper I was cutting for it

proof of concept for this month's zine! a quilt square flexagon

the final version will use scans from a 1930s print quilt that i've been working on and will be printed on heavier paper :)

Hello, Hi, made one of those cool flexagon zine thingies 👋

Maybe I'll post a gif of the actual flipping of the pages since that's the whole point of making it, but right now just pictures because I don't have a way of setting up the camera so I can use both hands. ;)

We're kind of interpreting Tim and Brian's backstory since there's not much known about them, and V and I decided to explore the idea of them being drug dealers before they got caught up with the whole Operator thing.

As you can see things did not end well for them. :)
