Yesterday marked a return to some rare stepping. It was a pleasant afternoon and I finished work relatively early so I decided to do one of my walkabout strolls around NYC. Sometimes one needs to be a tourist in one's hometown.

Starting at 57th and Lex, I walked north eventually crossing the Third Avenue Bridge into the Bronx and the ever-changing Mott Haven neighborhood. I finished at just under 30K. I resisted the urge to go back out and get the remaining 1.5K steps to go over 30K. I decided it was best to leave that ever rarer goal for another day.

Overall I walked 6.5 miles. It felt good and I feel strong today.

I'm still alive, despite not posting. Been feeling very discouraged with lack of weight loss, despite doing everything "correctly". I haven't been walking this week cos of the lack of motivation, but have done MWFS PlyoJam classes. I know I need to get back to walking, but I just bad-moody about it right now.

Oh, my old Fitbit Versa died last Friday, so I got a new Sense 2. Been trying to get all the stuff set up on it the way I like, but overall I like it.

If not real, why hot? I thought to myself . My green eyes were fixed on my phone. A picture of Delsin Rowe was on the screen. I let out a loud sigh.There was no way he could possibly ever like me. I mean, I am a college student and an absolute werido how could anyone possibly like me?

I twitch my wrist to check the time on my Fitbit versa 2. It read June 1, 2024 3:00pm. Oof! Got to get ready for work or I’ll be late. I slowly get off my bed and head to the bathroom across the hall. I started by brushing my dirty blonde hair. It was probably time for my blonde highlights to be redone. Go on to apply my makeup complete with brown eyeliner. Then that feeling returned.

What on earth am I doing with my life? I thought. I’m a college student, sure but I have no idea what I want to do with my existence. I mean I’ve switched my major three times. First computer science, I can’t do calculus to save my life. Graphic Design, I love making art but the studio professors despise me for no reason. Now I’m in communications. The degree is apparently useful and I love the classes. I want to start helping small businesses with advertising after collage but just don’t know. My destiny feels greater than that.

I put on my black dress pants and my black work polo that reads united shops in the left corner. I then proceeded to run to my silver jeep. The drive to work was thankfully uneventful despite the insane drivers in my area.

Work was steady. I’m a sacker so that means I bag groceries and carry them out. Nothing weird today except my mangers let me go home an hour early. I walked outside with my crossbody purse on. That’s when I noticed it.

It looked like the dimensionator from ratchet and clank: rift apart but in bracelet form. I went to pick it off the ground and it started to glow brightly. I touched and suddenly I was sucked in. I was so shocked I couldn’t even scream.

Happy Saturday mi gente. Yesterday was back to the mail grind. By the time I got to the Bronx I was sitting at roughly 18K steps. It was a beautiful evening so I pushed through being tired and walked the mile home from the train to get past the 20K step mark.

Where do you track your sleep? Is it an app? Cause I’m thinking about going to a doctor or a sleep specialist as my sleeps been wonky for the longest time and it kind of effects my daily life sometimes

i use the sleepmeter free app! it's only available for android via apkpure (safe) and is absolutely wonderful. fully recommend if you use android!

i also use a fitbit versa 2 to track my sleep! fitbit is especially nice for tracking sleep because they don't try to impose a bedtime on you like some other sleep trackers. it's entirely optional to fill out that info

if these options aren't available for you, you can whip something up on paper or google sheets where you just click a checkbox that corresponds to the half hours you've been asleep! any data helps
