Another hot take on this issue comes from the 'proship was the fandom norm' post where I wrote that I don't have to play politics because both sides have aspects that are retarded af, and I don't have to, say, support pedophilia and gross-ass werewolf dick smut, just because I think psychic identical twins are hot. It gets to the point with proshipping that only the people into the most extreme fetishes are comfortable posting, so a lot of times, one has to sift through a mountain of gross, negative garbage just to see their otp being cute once in a while. That's why I aim to make a mostly cute blankshipping blog with only a pinch of edge.

On that note, it's bold of everybody in the Submas fandom to assume blankshipping isn't the default. When I got into this, I was like, "Wait a minute.....are antis trying to say that these middle-aged autistic train clowns in adorable matching train conductor traffic cone costumes aren't fucking?! WEEEIIRRDDD........" I mean, come on..seriously. It's not like people have to be crass about it. Again, there's a lot of negativity and gross crap in the proshipping community, and yet, certain things are deemed more acceptable than others (see my two links about cockroach wife and such). Again, it's all garbage and everybody is retarded. I'm allowed to not like certain things and complain (this or that) trope gets used too much. I think some content creators are more into the trope than they are the fandom.

There's also a lot of negativity and gross crap in the antishipping community as well. Why is it that cartoon fictional character twincest is taboo, but again, someone can take a human character ship and turn it into two-dick werewolf knotting cumflation morbidly obese furry bullshit? I'd rather have a fetish that's immoral in the context of irl than one that's stupid and disgusting. Yamazaki Shintaro x Reader: First Choice

Originating from outdated traditions, the Yamazaki clan runs on a strict hierarchy.

Fate is the deciding factor on who sits at the top and Shintaro has the misfortune to be born second. Deemed as the runner up, the consolation, the spare even as he devotes his life to the family.

He is the second son but for you, he is always the first choice.

You think he likes you too, though he has never said it outloud. He's too caught up in propriety to express it so blatantly.

Still. The way his eyes soften when he sees you, how he walks too close to be considered respectable, and the way he seeks you out with any precious spare time he has-

It tells you enough.

Shintaro gives you liberties no-one else is afforded. There's a soft spot for you that he will never admit, not even to himself.

Yet, fate has never been kind to him and it comes to a head when there are talks of joining your family with his. A small part of him dies when discussion turns to betrothing you to Shingen.

The first time, and only time he has allowed himself to bend the rules - is for you.

"No." He mutters under his breath then he repeats it louder, clear, firm and the clan turns in surprise towards him.

"Why not?" One of the elders asks.

"I won't allow it." Shintaro says, offering nothing else.

Murmurs and angry rumblings stir. The refusal is absurd. Ridiculous. There's not even any reason given. You and Shingen should be a heavenly match. Your dates and time of birth are auspicious. It would be a union blessed by the Gods.

Shintaro catches Shingen's eye, seated naturally at the head of the room and seemingly bored. Yet what might be a dull topic for Shingen, is eating Shintaro alive.

Staring at his older brother, he holds his gaze unflinching, chin lifted and defiant.

He won't give in, he cannot. Shintaro reasons that he deserves this, after everything he has had to sacrifice. He deserves you.

Just as someone else is about to speak, Shingen's voice cuts through the tension in the room.

"Very well."

Silence, confusion. Then voices erupt forth.

"But Master Shingen-"

"Please reconsider!"

"Our syndicate will grow stronger-"

"Leave."

Shingen dismisses everyone with a single word, tone not to be argued with and no-one dares to go against a direct order from the Head of the family.

One by one, everyone files out with angry disbelieving looks cast Shintaro's way at the uncharacteristic outburst. Once the room empties, Shintaro nods briefly to Shingen and steps out the door.

There's a lot he will concede on. His entire life is a concession to Shingen. He has placed the Yamazaki family, upheld its rules and principles above everything, even himself.

But this, you and Shingen, he cannot allow. Because to Shintaro, you're his first choice too.

And when he sees you later that day, sending a bright smile his way, his heart flutters and he knows he has made the right choice.

GET ERGONOMIC SCISSORS

using your iron on low heat to smooth/flatten minky and fleece. use a blowdrier to fluff up fur that got kinda crinkly and flat.

if you have an embroidery machine get the fancy titanium needles. i know they cost an arm and a leg but they do break less often and your machine is the mostly likely to really get damaged when a needle breaks and it gets stuck (it´s also most stressful noise known to mankind)

if you have an embroidery machine. consider getting a good pair of noise cancelling headphones

tear away embroidery backing is actually REALLY good and will save you so much work. if it tears during the process just tape over the back where it tore.

sublimation printing? set your printer to high quality. i know it takes 500 years but just start cutting/taping in the mean time it´s worth it!

set it to photopaper. semigloss works best for mine but play around.

put a carpet around where you cut and work with fabric so the fuzz gets stuck in there instead of spreading into every corner of your house
