Finn Tidestrider and Grimm thoughts because old man yaoi has been on my mind

Imagine early on, more than a decade ago, the black rose pirates landing on noctis, maybe for a goal maybe as a result of them travelling and finding new islands for their map.

Imagine them, similar to the riptide pirates finding out about the murder mystery, maybe it start as a ball that day, a masquerade. Imagine Grimm mingling with his guests back then, unaffected by the madness of his sorcery yet, and meeting finn tidestrider, a triton behind the mask, still learning about the ways of the oversea, with incredible charm and fascinating tales of the undersea and the reefsearching he was a part of. Imagine the afterparty after the murder mystery where Grimm invites the black rose pirates for talking about their adventures, to learn about more of the world and lands and items he wouldn't know of. Them sharing drinks and tales and maybe Grimm telling them about a relic or something on a nearby island to send them off to get that for him in exchange of coin. Maybe he tempts finn to stay back while they get that, tempting him with books and knowledge he's collected over the years at his library.

Maybe over these few days, finn and Grimm grow closer, from teaching finn more about the world and at night about himself.

Them working together, merging spells, trying to layer them, figuring out ways to combine different types of spells during the daytime and spending nights in each other's arms.

And alas comes the day when the black rose pirates return and notice there's a spark between them. Although it is basically a goodbye forever, considering how pirates lives are, it's a memory both of them would cherish

Imagine this. On the day grimm dies, after more than a decade he feels the familiar presence of finn, a sense of the magic they both once made and perfected... Imagine the yearning he must have felt with the overtones of the madness caused by the very same magic that was part of one of his highly cherished memories

📼 - What would be their favorite movie or what movie do you associate with them?

Mortis: His favourite movie is (unsurprisingly) a religious one. Specifically 'The Passion of the Christ'. It's one of the few religious movies he genuinely enjoys (take it from someone that's watched their fair share of terrible religious movies having grown up in a religious household pff). He's even cried while watching it but he'd never admit it ADFNORIFMK

Finn: Xe loves cheesy romcoms ehehe,, Xe'd never admit it though. Not only because xe's embarrassed about the fact, but also because xer love for them is completely self-indulgent :3

Kbee, have I ever told you that you’re my favourite person ever? (And just gonna tag @luucypevensie, @ginger-grimm, @dancingsunflowers-ocs, @manyfandomocs, @ginevrastilinski-ocs, and @aceyanaheim as well!)

So, one of the things that’s always bugged me about Glee was the fact that most high schools have at least a winter and spring musical (my high school only had one a year, actually, but we started casting and rehearsals later in the year), so, inspired by Charlie a bit, I’ve decided to fix that in my Glee fics and have McKinley High do its own two musicals a school year!

(A note to make: I haven’t quite figured out the casting for these shows beyond my OCs yet, and though Rocky Horror and West Side Story both still happen like in canon, Rocky Horror still gets cancelled and they don’t have another winter musical that year.)

Most of the planning is under the cut for length!

Let Me Be Your Star (Ivy’s fic):

Season one winter musical: Cabaret (the club decides to keep it going even after Sue cancels her fake production, and Ivy and Rachel compete for the role of Sally Bowles; Will ultimately winds up making them share it and alternate shows).

Season one spring musical: Beauty and the Beast (Ivy gets cast as a genderbent version of Gaston while Rachel gets the role of Belle).

Season two winter musical: Rocky Horror (Ivy is originally cast as Magenta before it gets cancelled).

Season two spring musical: Heathers (Ivy is originally cast as Veronica, but she winds up having a panic attack while rehearsing “Dead Girl Walking�� with Finn, which causes her to quit and leads to her finally publicly coming out as ace).

Season three winter musical: West Side Story (Ivy doesn’t originally get cast as Maria at all, but steps in to share the role with Rachel when Mercedes quits).

Season three spring musical: Moulin Rouge! (Ivy gets cast as Satine and finally gets to have a leading role across from Sam, who gets cast as Christian).

Cardigan (Audrey, Parker, Bruno, and Leo’s fic; musicals aren’t focused on until season two because Parker is the only one at McKinley in season one and they only work backstage):

Season two winter musical: Rocky Horror (Audrey, Leo, and Bruno are all cast as background Transylvanians and Parker is working backstage before it gets cancelled).

Season two spring musical: Hairspray (Audrey gets cast as Tracy and worries a lot about it only having been because she’s fat and she didn’t really earn it, Parker works behind the scenes, Leo gets cast as a background Corny Collins dancer, and Bruno gets cast as Seaweed).

Season three winter musical: West Side Story (Audrey and Bruno get cast in background roles, Parker works backstage, and Leo gets cast as Mouthpiece).

Season three spring musical: High School Musical: The Musical (Leo gets cast as Ryan to Santana’s Sharpay, Audrey gets cast as Gabriella, Bruno gets cast as Zeke, and Parker works backstage).

Always Sing (Mara and Bailey’s fic):

Season one winter musical: The Sound of Music (Bailey isn’t in Lima yet, Mara gets cast as one of the younger von Trapp girls).

What emotion is the hardest for them to deal with: Frustration. Nimah can find herself getting quite frustrated at times, to the point where she gets quite flushed in the face.

How physically affectionate they are: Niamh isn't really normally the type that shows physical affection, but once somebody else does, she’ll happily cling to them like a koala bear hugging a tree.

A movie they could watch every day for the rest of their live: The first movie Niamh ever saw more than once was The Sound of Music. Not long after that, she would watch The Wedding Singer twice a week. As she grew older, she began to watch scarier movies. By the time she was about thirteen, one of her favourite movies was Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. If Niamh had to choose, one movie to watch every day for the rest of her live, it would be one of those movies.

Are they neurodivergent in any way (autism, ADHD, mental illness, etc.)? If so, what do they have?: ​Nimah has undiagnosed ADHD, and a general anxiety disorder.

If they want any kids, and how many they’d want if they do: Niamh hasn't really thought about whether she and Finn would want kids. When that time comes, she thinks she would more likely go through either the foster or adoption route, as she feels that she doesn't want to put her body through that pain, as she's heard enough horror stories about childbirth.

How they lost their first tooth: Nimah lost her first tooth at the normal age of five, when it was loose, with her wearing the gaps in her teeth as a sign of pride at being a 'big' girl.

What their walk-on song would be: C'est La Vie by Bewitched.

If they prefer company or time alone when they’re upset: Nimah prefers to have time to herself, maybe even going into the counselors office to have an one to one chat with Emma Pillsbury.
