how wednesday's day started vs how it's going T_T

this poll brought to you by a text I got from one of the other [my job title]'s contractors while I'm covering for him being gone. The contractor texted me "The answer is as always [his name] [his company ID number]" To which I could only say "what was the question?"

Also the contractor fucked up our back porch and caused the flagstones foundation (which to be fair were hanging on by a thread(you can see how they're coming off in the earlier pics)) to start completely disintegrating. So I have been slowly pulling them off and setting them aside to figure out what to do with them. I think that I'm going to use the smaller ones stacked on each other as garden/landscaping borders, and the huge ones as stepping stones like so:

The layout isn't permanent yet and I'll need to level them and such but I am liking it so far :D

one important thing about work emails is that whoever you send them to can forward them to anyone else, or reply to you and copy other people. so if you're going to talk about a third party in your email, only say things you would be okay with the third party reading. because people can and will just suddenly CC brand new people on a long email chain, who will then be able to backread anything you've ever said in any of your previous responses that you were sending to only one person. word to the wise.

while i am surprised to discover that the silly post i made about my dog last night has somehow gotten more than 500 notes overnight, i am delighted to see all the tags on it that are like “she’s a maltese that explains literally everything about this post” because they are so correct. such delightful stubborn little personalities.
