Now you may be seeing something right? FGT Ichigo looks kinda a lot like Yhwach.
Now we know Ichigo is a Quincy and all Quincy have Yhwach's blood running in their veins but only Ichigo looks like him to this extent when in his Final Getsuga Tensho.
Both have long dark hair.
Red crimson eyes.
And a handsome fac-
Ahem, I mean this leads me to believe that Ichigo may have been using his Quincy powers while in that state. Hey look, this is just a theory and Kubo may have just thought it's a cool design choice before the Yhwach twist and all but just let me have fun with this one okay!
Now what is Final Getsuga Tensho specifically? Some believe it's Ichigo absorbing all of Zangetsu's powers but I disagree. I think FGT is more of a fusion between them. Getsuga Tensho is a technique using Zangetsu's powers and only Ichigo can call upon the technique, it cannot be used by Zangetsu without its wielder or Ichigo without his weapon. And my proof is this line by Ichigo:
He is fighting with Zangetsu, not using him.
And there's also the fact that Zangetsu was literally fused to his hand.
Now then that we established that, let's get to this point.
Final Getsuga Tensho is not just a final technique. It's also a combination of all of Ichigo's powers. Both Shinigami, Hollow and Quincy. And why is that?
When Ichigo was fighting Zangetsu he was fighting both his Quincy (in Young lad Zangetsu) Hollow/Shinigami (In white Ichigo) in a fused state. And achieving FGT is him basically accepting both powers, and making himself a weapon for a short time, becoming Getsuga itself.
Heck we talked about his design resembling Yhwach why not talk about how his design resembles a Hollow in how the mask wraps around half of his face with little teeth and how the black spirit energy is like his Tensa Zangetsu's Getsuga Tensho (shinigami power) only strengthening my thought about it not just being a final technique/attack but a fusion of all of his powers, both mastered and latent (which is why Ishinn had Ichigo do it, not him. His wouldn't probably match Aizen)
And the nail in the coffin is what Aizen says here.
Aizen here is beyond Quincy, Shinigamis, Hollows and humans, no one can stand up to him. He's on a higher plane than all beings except Ichigo. Who overpowered him with ease, who's on a higher plane than he is.
There's only one being that can be on a higher plane than the Quincy,Hollows,Shinigami:
Yhwach, the Quincy King, the Almighty. He's the only one who could over power aizen that much and without even trying.
Now I am not saying that Ichigo is somehow using the Almighty powers, that's stupid. I am saying that he was using his Quincy powers which are from Yhwach himself. Fusing it with his other abilities to make Aizen look like a joke.
And even then, FGT is probably just an imperfect version of Ichigo's final form he used against Yhwach. Because FGT is used when Ichigo didn't fully realize and unlock his Quincy powers/Blood. And that it's a one shot weapon where he can use it only once and lose all his powers after whereas his final form where he realizes and mastered all of his powers he uses to its fullest potential and doesn't just disappear.
And that it looked like how Zangetsu looks like when he was fighting him for the Final Getsuga Tensho.
And all of this leads me to believe that Ichigo was using his Quincy powers there and that's how he overpowered Aizen that easily, especially in base.
TL;DR FGT is just an imperfect Final form that Ichigo uses against Yhwach in chapter 676.
Good night or Good morning 👍.
NaruHina 4ever
Petition to call Tensa Zangetsu YoungMan Zangetsu.
But remember. That's just a theory, a game theory. Thanks for watching.

So I’ve seen ‘soulmate’ aus in Bleach where you basically marry someone by giving them a piece of your soul and then giving a piece in return
And I really like it. It’s cute
But I keep imagining in Rukongai people don’t have families in the same way people born into soul society do and so they started making families of their own
And they accidentally started adopting people by giving them a piece of their soul because it’s all they could give and eventually that became how you adopted people
And then I started imagining an au where between the soul society arc and the fake Karakura town arc that Ichigo spent his time getting ‘tutored’ essentially by someone in the Gotei (maybe Shunsui and Juushiro or Unohana) and then ends up getting adopted
And maybe that keeps him from losing his powers post final getsuga tensho and he ends up so much stronger
And maybe he beats Aizen and Ywach’s asses seven ways to Sunday while barely breaking a sweat
(I also really enjoy the idea of Kurosaki ‘godkiller’ Ichigo getting adopted by an ancient, powerful Shinigami who decided that since he won’t take care of himself, they will)
(And maybe Isshin gets his ass kicked and whatever love interest has to get the adopted parents approval)
Idk I just think it’s fun
Oh I do love that!!

Quincy Ichigo Ideas
I mentioned once how much of a fun AU it would be to see Ichigo be a Quincy instead of a Substitute Soul Reaper. I do not say that in the sense that I would alter his backstory or even the main story all that much either.
I mean, Ichigo as we know him, training to rescue Rukia. In my mind, the best place to do this change is for Ichigo to emerge from Keisuke's Shattered Shaft training but with his quincy powers active instead.
I'd be curious to see how the stories and battles change this way. Of course, there are two major hitches in the story I do not know how to rectify with this premise.
Namely, I do not know how I would do the Final Getsuga or Zangetsu reforging moments.
As for how Ichigo would learn and develop powers in this story I actually no need to alter it. Old Man Zangetsu is the Yhwach that resides inside Ichigo and he's shown to be fully capable of using powers Ichigo shouldn't know due to lack of quincy training.
He could easily impart those skills. That may even make the reveal of the true Yhwach much later that much stronger for Ichigo himself.
Hollow Ichigo also still exists. You could easily do a Quincy Vizard Ichigo in this set up. Imagine how terrifying a Quincy with a Hollow mask would be.
Of course, given his mixed heritage I would still like to include the latent Fullbring and Reaper qualities. In fact, the reaper qualities could be used to make him a bit more unique than a typical quincy.
For example, my base power set up for a quincy Ichigo would be as follows;
Reaper Related Powers:
Spiritual body. Like a Soul Reaper Ichigo has a spiritual form. In fact, just like when he borrowed Rukia's powers, he can only use his powers when outside his body. (at first anyway)
Shunpo (flash step). Just like in canon Ichigo learns this prior to the Byakuya battle.
Hollow Purification. Due to his Soul Reaper heritage and, due to borrowing Rukia's powers for roughly two months, Ichigo's quincy arrows actually purify a hollow.
^ This fact in particular I would make a highlight and headache for the Soul Society because soul erasure was the Reaper's justification for the Quincy genocide two hundreds years prior to the story.
They quite literally do not know what to do with him but observe.
Quincy Related Powers:
Purification Arrows. When Ichigo emerges from the Shattered Shaft he discovers that he can make a crude bow and arrow. To Urahara's shock, they purify hollows just like a zanpakuto would.
Blut Vene. If the canon story showed us anything it's that Ichigo has a knack for Blut as he mother did. However, he can only use the defensive variant.
Spirit Swords. Usually quincy form weapons from reishi but I thought it'd be a fun idea if Urahara does this for him. He even makes it a fun hobby to make better swords that compliment Ichigo.
Getsuga Tensho (arrow). This version of Ichigo has the Getsuga ability but it manifests as a massive arrow. With the black variant bordering on being a Cero outright.
There are other powers you could possibly give him throughout the story but this is what I imagine he'd have at start. I also chose to give him swords produced by Urahara because it'd be a fun way to have variety.
Plus, canon Ichigo has a zanpakuto so it'd feel pointless to do this kind of thing if I gave him one as a quincy.
Hollow Related Powers
Hollow Mask. As in canon Ichigo gains his mask.
Black Getsuga. As seen in the Bleach Brave Soul images I'm using, Ichigo's arrows and overall power would take on the black & blue coloration.
This one changes the least in functionality. The major difference here is that Hollow Ichigo didn't manifest as a Zanpakuto, it did not become Zangetsu.
However, that hollow power is still in there and just like in canon the Vizards intervene to help him control it.
But this also means you can have more fun with it since Hollow Ichigo isn't working on the logic of a zanpakuto here. It'll lend Ichigo power if he earns it's approval but it's all the more willing to break free if he messes up.
I left this alone because I just enjoy Hollow Ichigo's appearances. I also think it'd be even more horrifying/amazing to see when hollow Ichigo takes on Ulquiorra only to start forming swords out of pure reishi.
Just imagine the shared shock of Ulquiorra and Uryu in that moment to see a hollow of all things using quincy powers.
That's it for now
That's all the ideas I've had for this AU so far. I focused more on powers than story because I would like to see how people react in the story similar to how it is now but with a quincy running around unburdened with a physical body and a hollow mask.
You may even add funny moments like Ichigo harassing Uryu for basics or just the general shock and confusion of both Ichigo and Urahara himself once he emerges from the Shattered Shaft as a quincy.
Ichigo has no idea of his heritage at that point and while Urahara does he wouldn't tell Ichigo nor would he comprehend why he'd emerge a quincy when his "foolproof training regiment" was meant to make Ichigo a soul reaper.
Small things like that and all. Bye now~

What if it was a temporary fix when Ichigo was given his powers back? Final Getsuga Tensho irreparably broke his soul and the Reiatsu given to him is pouring out of him. Getting stronger helps Ichigo hold on for longer, but he knows that soon he’ll be just as weak and powerless as he had been after the Winter War. Would his friends abandon him again? Could he survive losing his powers again with his humanity intact because it's not just Reiatsu he's losing but also Zangetsu and his very soul?
He has enough power to defeat Yhwach in the Thousand-Year Blood War but in the moments after, he’s got the only Soul Reaper strong enough to kill him at his current power level nearby. Does he want the slow agonising torture of living the rest of his life without his soul, without Zangetsu?

6, 13 and 19 for Bleach game :3
6. Favorite bankai?
Visually, it's Byakuya's because the way those cherry blossoms move is incredible. I love how they took such a feminine color and flower and made it so lethal and masculine for someone like Byakuya.
Ability-wise, it's Shinji. I mean, his bankai was freaking banned in Soul Society because of how dangerous it could be. It's slightly sinister and I love that.
13. Favorite manga panel?
I think it has to be when Ichigo attains final Getsuga Tensho. I mean whew, the art was stunning.
19. If you’re a fic writer, who do you write for?
For Bleach, I pretty much write for everyone except the Arrancars/ Espada (not including Grimmjow and Coyote Stark). I feel like I wouldn't characterize them very well and a lot of them just don't hold a lot of interest for me. My faves though, would be Ukitake, Byakuya, Shinji, and Hisagi. Writing them comes easily to me.

What if the reason why Engetsu refused to teach Isshin the Final Getsuga form wasn't because he would lose his powers, but because there was a chance he might destroy everything and everyone around him while doing so?
Isshin's Shikai is already a fire type with the added cost of his blood making it even more powerful.
His Bankai is supposedly way too powerful, even costing him immense reiatsu/vital force.
What if the Final Getsuga Tensho turns him into a goddamn nuclear deterrent?

Do any of the other denizens of Muken ever try to communicate with you via reiatsu "morse code"? It seems like at a minimum Azashiro probably could have done so if he so desired.
Could have?
Kenpachi Azashiro and I have exchanged words.
He was, if I remember correctly, under the mistaken impression that I lost to Kurosaki Ichigo. Azashiro, in fact, mocked me for it. I kept my own council--difficult though that was for me--because it seems that there there must be some benefit to the Soul Society that this lie is perpetuated.
Everyone seems to believe that Kurosaki Ichigo not only stood a chance against me, but somehow actually won.
Is the Ryoka boy too proud to tell the story accurately?
I realize we were alone on the battlefield, but, surely, someone else saw what truly transpired that day.
But in case it is somehow not known, let me tell you the truth. It was not Urahara's child solider who defeated me, but Urahara Kisuke himself. I was still standing, unaffected, when the last of Kurosaki's so-called Final Getsuga Tensho faded. In a moment, he would have been completely powerless in front of me. In fact, I would have won the day were it not for the trickery of Urahara Kisuke that finally ensnared me.
People are always so quick to accuse me of being a liar, but this lie is repeated to me over and over. Why? Who first told the story this way? Why is the truth being kept from the world? And, why, by all the Gods, did a Kenpachi repeat it to my face?
Of course, if it were true, Azashiro would be well within his rights to mock me. Defeated by a fifteen year old child? I would, indeed, be a joke.
But, that's not how it happened.
In fact, I would dare Azashiro to win against Urahara Kisuke, former warden of the Maggot's Nest, one of the Quincy War Potentials, a man whose bankai can restructure anything it touches including himself, and whose Kido capabilities match my own. THERE is man worthy of my "defeat." But let it be noted that there is defeat and there is death.
And no one has killed me yet.
#Bleach#Bleach suggestions#Aizen#not a suggestion#//I can't believe its actually in Spirits Are Forever With You that Azashiro mocked Aizen for being defeated by Ichigo#//Did Kubo not read his own manga?#//everybody needs to re-read chapter 421 - Aizen is clearly still standing

Getsuga Jujishou is such a funny move. You wait almost a decade for Ichigo to finally learn an attack besides Getsuga Tensho, he goes to train in the Royal Palace, and the best he could come up with is just...two getsuga tensho's

Actually because I feel like this is the last time for a few years that I'll have anything to say about Final Fantasy XVI, let me just pick on two things about this latest DLC:
When they were showing off the preview for this DLC at PAX East, they made a point of hyping up how Jill was going to be much more involved in the DLC. It was a tacit acknowledgment of the fact that Jill was pretty underwhelming in the main story: she popped off at Drake's Breath, and then that was about it for ol' Jill. You even got a little Pixel Jill pin for attending the panel, rather than, say, a Pixel Shula.
And then you play the DLC and Jill's major contribution is not saying anything out loud about her suspicions that her heritage is intertwined with the Motes of Water via The Witch, and then when Shula says "OH FUCK I'M ABSORBING TOO MUCH MAGIC TRYING TO DEACTIVATE THE TIME BARRIER AROUND THE BABY!", Jill says "I can help!", and then she helps, and that's it for ol' Jill.
It's not quite "YOU WILL FEEL ASHAMED OF YOUR WORDS & DEEDS" tier, but Jesus fucking Christ. But the real ass kicker is that they elaborate just a teensy bit more on The Witch in a sidequest you can do after finishing the main story of The Rising Tide, where an NPC explains that The Witch died not long after and that's also when the Timekeeper first appeared. And Jill has nothing to say about any of this, despite the fact that The Witch is one of the few concrete things we know is directly associated with Jill's heritage, because she wasn't in my fucking party at the time because she had to occupy herself at the village!
The other thing is the Tonberry King fight. I do actually want to give it props for being like one of maybe two encounters in the entire DLC that is designed in such a way to encourage, but not require, the player to use Leviathan due to the way the Everybody's Grudge attack works. Everybody's Grudge summons a huge swarm of tonberries that toddle towards you with very low HP, but if you try to melee attack them, they charge up with super armor and stab you, as tonberries are wont to do. So, you can either use your magic, or if you have Leviathan set, you can just blow them up at range. Cool!
The rest, though? Like the tonberries in general in this DLC, they're just a little too animated. Like, they look like tonberries, with the cloak and the big knife and the lantern, and they will sometimes approach slowly with the knife, but otherwise they're kinda just lizardmen.
But what else could they do? The tonberry encounter archetype is "kill this thing before the timer runs out", so how can you translate that in an action game while still feeling true to the nature of a tonberry encounter in classic FF games?
Why, if it isn't Stranger of Paradise! The Final Fantasy action game that released over a full year before Final Fantasy XVI and two years before this DLC, where they had tonberry encounters with regular ol' tonberries who can only slowly toddle towards you... except they also get a teleport to close huge distances instantly, as well as very powerful effect spells that will slow or outright paralyze you, at which point they can slowly toddle towards you and kill you in a single hit with their funny knife.
To their credit, they let the Tonberry King teleport so he can lumber for some of his inbetween animations, but then to take away credit, the teleport will then be used to make the Tonberry King move like Vergil 3, doing three helmsplitters in a row, before doing a backflip and a fuckin' Getsuga Tensho.

Custom Toonami Block Week 130 Rundown
Inuyasha: We’re still on the string of post-Hakurei filler but at least this one’s kind of dealing with the fallout of some of the events there. Mostly centered around the dramatic shenanigans that happened between Miroku and Sango, this episode kind of pulls on the thread that it’s odd their relationship just kinda reset after that. But yeah there’s a village of women kidnapping dudes and feeding them to paintings, it’s kinda weird shit and there’s a subplot about a dude looking for his fiancée but basically we get a cliffhanger of Sango about to be brainwashed by the painting cult so we can do the ‘oh my god they love each other but they’re fighting’ plot that Yashahime did like four times.
Yu Yu Hakusho: Still breaking down the Sensui reveal from last episode, we get the full backstory of Sensui breaking into Sakyo’s Speed Grapher style Roppongi demon torture club and having his Saturday Morning Cartoon view of the world shattered and then decided to recruit as many people as he could to the ‘humans are assholes’ bandwagon. I do kinda like how we’re still incorporating parts of past arcs to explain some of the history between Sakyo and Koenma to make the world feel fleshed out and explain how Sakyo and the Black Black Club managed to get their hands on so many demon bodyguards for their demonic slavery ring. However the exposition is cut short when Sensui and Sniper decide to jump into their own backstory explanation and try to off Seaman, revealing they were tracking him and caught his doubts on tape. Surprise surprise it’s Kuwabara they’re after because man can’t get a powerup without it being a plot device to actually help the bad guys. Though Seaman seems to be really dragging his feet on getting this info to everyone and Yusuke and co. go to confront Sensui in a good old street standoff and they tell him it’s actually only two days until the demon portal opens and just when it seems like Yusuke made a move Sensui can’t predict, he snaps to block it and is about to deck Yusuke because you can’t have shit in this anime.
Fate/Apocrypha: We continue the final battle matchups and we’ve got Semiramis vs Mordred which for the poster girl of the series giving her like one and a half fights the whole show I kinda expected more but okay. Apparently Semiramis can just like flood poison everywhere and negate Command Seals because… reasons, idk she doesn’t explain except saying ‘yeah that doesn’t work’ because Semiramis is a shitty DM. But yeah Mordred fights her and they get Lion Dude in to give her her epi-pen or whatever and it’s another cool-looking Getsuga Tensho fight and Mordred’s motivation is different every Fate scene I see her in so idk what to make of her character but she’s badass and kills a billion giant snakes so that’s all I could really ask for but Lion Dude dies in the fight and I guess Mordred just like loses the will to live because she dies immediately after that despite Servants usually being able to stick it out for a bit after their Masters die and Lion Dude implying she’d have time to make another contract if she wanted like I get she’s not Archer Emiya and isn’t THAT self-sufficient but you’d think it’d be not like immediate death after him. Fate seems to explain its rules a lot and then go ‘fuck it’ for whatever’s most dramatic so idk what to think. Then we have Shakespear vs Jeanne where Shakespeare just narrates Jeanne’s backstory at her and like given Jeanne’s backstory is historical fact instead of mythological fiction I feel like hers is the one we least need narrated to us but okay. She gets bored of the Christmas Carol treatment pretty quick and he’s like ‘oh boy you killed people and died doesn’t that suck’. Anyway he brings out Saber Gilles and is all ‘hey bro you killed people but like Sieg, what’s up with that’ and it’s like… fuck off bro she didn’t say she liked killing or thought of the people she killed as nothing, plus of course she’s gonna react a bit different to a dude she knows to still be alive being murdered in front of her like Shakespeare really is a terrible writer. Though given Jeanne is literally of two minds on the subject as a bastardized historical figure and a horny French college waifu I guess it makes a little more sense for her to be somewhat conflicted.
Speed Grapher: We’re coming up to the finale! Japan’s currently in chaos because every single person on a management level for any government position is stuck down in Suitengu’s fuckdungeon and the Prime Minister is dead, makes me wonder how the place functioned while everyone was at the club in the first place like you’re telling me EVERY SINGLE person of import was a part of the Roppongi Club? I guess it doesn’t have to be all of them but they seem to paint it that way. And judging by a cutaway we see later they’re still down there fucking each other, like it’s been like two days and they still down there doing the humpty hump, like I kinda feel bad for all the sex workers Suitengu hired for this like I doubt they signed up for this shit but we saw last episode Suitengu doesn’t necessarily put high value on their lives either and is kinda too far gone to care at this point. But yeah with the Japanese Government essentially non-function, it’s time for everyone’s favorite villain to step in… ANIME AMERICA. God I love when Anime America is the villain in these things like it’s just random shadowy capitalists doing shit for money and odd pastiches of George W. Bush and god bless Anime America. Basically the plan is to bomb Suitengu’s building and then sell Japan the weapons they just used to bomb the fuck out of them so they can defend themselves in case Blood Sephiroths decide to attack again. Knowing Kagura’s still there Saiga decideds to storm the place and seeing as he’s get Mangekyo Sharingan blindness going on atm Ginza decides her character arc is complete and she’s done being a hedonist and she’s gonna help him. Suitengu and Kagura have a nice little chat about how the existential nightmares that are their lives have progressed and Kagura’s made her peace while Suitengu just wants the pain to end. Also they find out if Kagura survives if they can induce her first period the hormone imbalance will throw off her Euphoria Factor enough o possible stop it from killing her which… idk what that’ll do about the tumor but okay sure, that was something that was foreshadowed that they were trying to keep Kagura a child despite dressing her up as a woman and changing her birth certificate so she could marry Suitengu. I feel kinda weird about how much of an easy out this is for Kagura’s terminal condition but at the same time like I said it was foreshadowed and I do kinda like how the symbolism is for Kagura to not die from the greed of her parents is to just… become an adult, that’s a neat little metaphor. So yeah Ginza fights off Tsujido’s group while Saiga goes to confront Suitengu who has apparently cashed out all the money the unregulated government and corporate infrastructure of Japan have invested in the Tennozu group which is apparently something you can just do I guess. But yeah his plan is that once the Americans bomb him and Kagura into the stone age that the Euphoria Factor will die and take enough out of the Japanese Economy to tank the fucking thing and wreck Capitalism. I just kinda love this plan like no notes, excellent plan bro, just stick all the millionaires in a fuckdungeon and burn all the money, Capitalism over. I get this weird feeling this is where that scene from the Dark Knight of the Joker burning the huge stack of money was inspired from but I may be talking out of my ass, god this show is bonkers the whole way through and I love it.
